Janie Frazier, 49, of Fort Worth died Sunday, July 26, 1998, in a Fort Worth hospital.
She was born on April 16, 1949 and attended Weatherford High School. She lived in Fort Worth the the past 10 years and, before her extended illness, was the business manager for Complete Care Service. She is survived by her daugther, Karen Cowell of Fort Worth and her mother, Francys Frazier of Weatherford. Survivors also include: her brother, Phillip Frazier and his wife Lynn of Willow Park; her sister, Beth Phelan of Weatherford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 1998; White's Chapel of Memories, Weatherford. The Reverend Cary Patton will officiate.

Dorothy "Dottie" Gillam, 76, of Fort Worth died on August 1, 1998. She was born in Weatherford on July 9, 1922.
Mrs. Gillam had a passion for preparing food creations and was a master of culinary arts for more than 50 years. Her creations were enjoyed by oil barons and kings, family members and friends. Her recipes have been published and she collaborated on several cookbooks.
Dottie loved to find the humor in everyday life and had a childlike spunkiness. She survived with Lupus for 35 years. Her will to live and her love life aided in her longevity. She was also very fond of her beloved dog, Kona.
Mrs. Gillam and her husband lived in Benbrook for the past 30 years.
Survivors: husband, Jeff Gillam of Fort Worth; sons and their wives, David and Margaret Hendrix of Dallas; Ben Hendrix of Fort Worth; nephew, Jim Smith of Corpus Christi; grandsons, Chris and Laurie Hendrix of Azle, Jon Hendrix of of Azle.
Golden, Harvey Dean
Harvey Dean Golden, 62, died Tuesday, November 9, in Willow Park.
Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 13 at
White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
Mr. Golden was born in Joaquin, Texas, on November 24, 1936. He grew up in Kirbyville where he graduated from Kirbyville High School in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1957. He continued his education at Lamar University, earning B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics with a minor in English. He taught advanced math programs in high school and at Midwestern University.
He joined General Dynamics in 1969 where he worked on F-111 programs. In 1973 he was selected to complete an Operational Flight Program for the Space Shuttle Orbiter functional mock up at NASA's manned spacecraft center in Houston. There he trained NASA personnel on the use and design of his custom made computer complex for the Space Shuttle. In 1975 he returned to GD where he was assigned to the F-16 program. Subsequently he lead the Robotics program and in 1980 received an extraordinary achievement award for his robotics program and an engineering achievement award. He retired in 1993. Substitute teaching in the Aledo ISD and his love of old cars kept him occupied in his retirement years.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia; sons, Michael and Bradley Golden; brothers, Gene and Mack Golden; Sisters, Adrine Williford, Martha Branch and Alice Berry; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Argie Eugene (Buster) Haddock
Argie Eugene Haddock (Buster), 86, passed away April 17. He was born August 6, 1914, in Johnson County.
Buster. Haddock is preceded in death by one son, his parents, and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Maudie Mae Haddock; two sons, Elgene and wife Dianna of Mesquite, Randle and wife Karen of Vancouver, Washington; three grandchildren, Elgene Haddock, Roberta Liberko and husband, Jim; Karla Kalain and husband Jim; and three great grandchildren, James, Brandon, and Melanie Liberko; brothers A.C. Haddock of Weslaco, Berl Haddock of Mineral Wells and James Haddock of Weatherford; sisters, Loreta Slease of Weatherford, Geneva A. Dixon of Aledo, Edna King of Fort Worth, and Jena Thedford of Weatherford, and Ava Winton of Weatherford; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Aledo Community Center Friday, May 4 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Annetta Cemetery.
Herbert C. "Hub" Gray
Herbert C. "Hub" Gray, 72, a retired farmer-rancher, passed away at home Friday, March 9.
Hub was born August 21, 1928, in Tahoka. He was a longtime Hood County resident and a member of Tolar Baptist Church.
Hub was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Betty Jo Gray of Tolar; children and spouses, Cheryl and Gary Cooper of Willow Park and Jody and Elaine Gray and Terry and Jill Gray, all of Toler; grandchildren, Jason Cooper of Willow Park, Courtney and husband, Jeff Ives, of Willow Park and Chandon Gray, Nick Gray and Jamie Gray, all of Tolar; sister and husband, Peggy and Carter Rogers of Euless; brother and wife, Artie and Jackie Gray of Granbury; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, and Reagan Ives Of Willow Park; step-grandchildren, Porchia Gilbreath of Toler and Matthew Lewis of Burleson; step-great-grandchildren, Charles and Patrick Gilbreath of Tolar and Cody Lewis of Burleson; aunts, Gay Gauntt and Lucy Everette, both of Granbury; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials can be made to Toler Volunteer Fire Department or Tolar Baptist Church Building Fund.

Garland Wren Griffin
Garland Wren Griffin, 64, in food service industry sales, died Thursday, October 19 in Fort Worth. He was born March 2, 1936.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Griffin; son Chris Griffin of Fort Worth; daughter Garla Thomas of Aledo; stepdaughter Cara Echols of Caddo; Brothers Robbie Griffin of Salado and Jarrell Griffin of San Antonio; grandchildren Tyson, Colby and Brady Thomas and Taylor Griffin; several nieces and nephews and his beloved Bugsy, a Chihuahua.

Lillian Hornsby, 75, of Weatherford died Monday, September 28, 1998, at a local care center.
Mrs. Hornsby was born on October 2, 1922 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She married Truman A. Hornsby on December 6, 1941 in Charlotte.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974.
Mrs. Hornsby is survived by her son Truman Hornsby of Weatherford, her daughters Pat Rutledge of Aledo and Shirley Leach of Williford, Texas, two grandchildren, two great-granchildren, and her brother James Garris of Charlotte.
Clyde W. Howard
Clyde W. Howard, 79, a retired production supervisor for Tandy, died Saturday, March 24, at a Weatherford hospital. He was born March 29, 1921 in Sanger to John and Alice Howard. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a faithful member of Annetta Methodist Church.
In lieu it flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Campbell Memorial Hospital for heart and diabetes research.
Mr. Howard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jewell Howard of Aledo; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Wayne Jackson, also of Aledo; and grandchildren, Stacy, Dawn and Josh Jackson.
A private inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hood County. Services were under the direction of Benbrook Funeral Home
