Timothy Paul Klein, 45, died Friday, March 19 at his residence in Snyder.
A memorial service is set 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church Chapel under the direction of Wright Colonial Funeral Home.
Born March 12, 1959 in Moorehead, Minn., he married Janie Brown on March 9, 1994 in Snyder. He played football and graduated from high school in New England, N.D. He worked as a permit agent for Grant Energy until 1998.
Family visitation is set for 7-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Klein of Snyder; a daughter, LaKrisha Kosler of Snyder; a son, Bradley George of Snyder; his mother and father, Jeanne and Bob Walch of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; a sister, Diane Klein of Williston, N.D.; three brothers and a sister-in-law, James Klein of Williston, Chuck Klein of Lake Elsinore and Bobby and Lynn Klein of New England; two granddaughters, Hannah Kosler and Kaylee Kosler, both of Snyder; four nephews and nieces, Shawn, Mason, Crystal and Audrey, all of Lake Elsinore.
Lavonia Loving

ABILENE -- Lavonia Loving, former Snyder resident, died Friday, March 19, in an Abilene hospital.
Graveside service for Mrs. Loving, 84, was to be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan. The service was directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home and Bishop Danny Thompson was to officiate.
Born Nov. 25, 1919 in Royston, she was reared in Royston and married Fred Oliver Loving Sr. on Nov. 13, 1937 in Hobbs, N.M. They moved to California and then to Fisher County where she ran a sewing factory.
Following the death of her husband, she moved to Snyder in 1971. She also lived in Odessa before moving to Abilene. Mrs. Loving was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Kay Loving of Abilene; three daughters, Gail Loving Barnes of Odessa, Phyllis Goodwin of Paducah and Debby Loving of North Richland Hills; two sisters, Helen Cozart of Reno, Nev., and Jessie Kelly of Hurst; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Charlie Morrow
1918-2004
Service is pending at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home for Charlie Morrow, 86, of Snyder.
Mr. Morrow died Friday, March 19, in Covenant Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born on Jan. 16, 1918 in Paint Rock and he and his wife, Betty, married on Sept. 29, 1946 in Sweetwater. Mr. Morrow had been an engineer for the State Highway Department for 40 years.
He was a member of the Hermleigh Masonic Lodge 987, Scottish Rite, and he had served in the Corp of Engineers in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Morrow of Snyder; two daughters, Marsha Lynn Simpson of Arlington and Alice Marjann Morrow of Snyder; a sister, Jewel Riley of Clovis, N.M.; and four grandchildren, Charles Curtis Gardner of Dallas, Heath Allen Gardner of Midland, Michael Kelley McPherson of Lubbock and Samantha Doss of Arlington.
Alfonso DeLuna
1964-2004
Alfonso DeLuna of Snyder died Friday, March 19, in Lubbock’s University Medical Center.
Services for Mr. DeLuna, 39, are pending at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Born April 30, 1964 in Lawton, Okla., Mr. DeLuna had been in the U.S. Marines for 12 years and had served time in Iraq. He was employed with Patterson-UTI Drilling. He married Leticia Diaz on Sept. 21, 1990 in California.
Survivors include his wife, Leticia DeLuna of Snyder; one son, Richard Alfonso DeLuna of Snyder; two daughters, Selene Domingu of Snyder; his parents, Alfonso DeLuna and Carmen A. DeLuna, both of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Sonny and Tommy DeLuna , both of Wichita Falls, and Randy Gaitan of Florence; and one sister, Renee Howery of Wichita Falls.
Olga Perez
1940-2004
Olga Perez, 63, of Snyder died Tuesday, March 16, in Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service for Mrs. Perez is set for 10 a.m. Thursday in the Iglesia Getsemani in Eldorado with the Rev. Jaime Cazares officiating. Burial will follow in the Eldorado Cemetery. Local arrangements were under the direction of Wright Colonial Funeral Home.
Born March 19, 1940 in Eldorado, she married Alex Perez on Jan. 28, 1959 in Spur. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Alejandro Perez of Snyder; five daughters, Rochelle Ashley of Rosebud, S.D., Mary Perez of Seguin, Suzanna Perez and Adelaida Guevara, both of Lincoln, Neb., and Molly Irene Perez of Snyder; a son, Hector Perez of Lincoln; her mother, Sara Rangel of Eldorado; four sisters, Josefa Romo of Michigan, Jesusa Adame and Manuela Espinoza, both of Eldorado, and Esther Lara of Snyder; three brothers, Manuel Rangel of Dallas, Santos Rangel of Lincoln and Isabel Rangel of Rock Springs, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Edith Fargason
1922-2004
Services are pending at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home for Edith Verle Fargason of Copperas Cove.
Mrs. Fargason, 81, died Tuesday, March 16, in Copperas Cove.
She was born on Dec. 27, 1922 and married Hugh Fargason on Oct. 10, 1945. He died Aug. 11, 1999.
Charlotte Terry
1947-2004
WHITESBORO -- Charlotte Marie (Duckworth) Terry, 56, of Fall River and formerly of Texas, died peacefully at home with family and friends on the morning of March 15, 2004.
She was born in Sweetwater, Texas, daughter of the late John and Billie Duckworth. She attended Abilene Christian University where she received her degree in education and developed her passion for teaching children at middle school level in Whitesboro, Texas.
She and her husband spent their 38 years of married life in West Texas as well as postings to several locations throughout Europe with Rowan Drilling Company. They chose a transfer with Rowan to Halifax six years ago.
Her love of life and the strength that she shared was an inspiration to all, especially in these last few years.
She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband Linden. She is also survived by her sons, Wesley and Colby, Whitesboro, Texas; her mother, Billie Duckworth; and her sister, Sandy (Don) Owens, Seminole, Texas; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clifford and Marshall Terry, Dallas, Texas; as well as a close circle of friends.
Charlotte was an active member of the Convoy Avenue Church of Christ Halifax.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Darthmouth. Memorial service will take place Saturday March 20th, 11 a.m. at the Western Heights Church of Christ, 800 Baker Park Drive, Sherman, Texas under the direction of Huff Funeral Home. With a meal following the service. A private family interment will take place Friday March 19th.

Margaret Weaver

Funeral service for Margaret Tipton Weaver, longtime Snyder educator, is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church where she was a longtime member.
The Rev. Buddy Payne, pastor, will officiate and burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Weaver, 84, died Monday, March 15, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock after a brief illness.
Born Feb. 29, 1920, a leap year, in Jacksonville, Texas, she graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1937 and received a bachelor’s degree from McMurry University in 1941 and a master’s degree from McMurry in 1954.
She married Frank Weaver on Aug. 3, 1940 in Rusk. Also a longtime Snyder teacher, coach and administrator, Mr. Weaver died Sept. 28, 1997.
Mrs. Weaver was a teacher in the Snyder public schools for 32 years, mostly teaching the fifth grade. She was a life member of the United Methodist Church, a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society, Altrurian Daughters, Martha Ann Woman’s Club and Cogdell Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. Weaver also had served as Lucky 13 sponsor and a Girl Scout leader.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Chris Weaver of Del Rio; a sister, Ruth Shurley of Sonora; three grandchildren and their spouses, Todd and Resa Weaver of Plano, Ann and Darren Todd of Woodward, Okla., and Shana Weaver of San Antonio; and four great-grandchildren, Braden and Conner Todd of Woodward and Mason and Mitchell Weaver of Plano.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8:30 this evening at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Curtis Sterling
1924-2004
LUBBOCK -- Curtis J. Sterling, a native of Scurry County, died Sunday, March 14.
Graveside service for Mr. Sterling, 79, is set for 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Resthaven Memorial Park.
A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Second Baptist Church. Dr. Phillip Wise and the Rev. Stephanie Nash will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
Born Sept. 26, 1924 in Scurry County to Thomas J. and Emma Pearl Sterling, he attended Bison, Ira and Snyder schools and graduated from Ira High School in 1941.
He entered Texas Tech in 1941, but his education was interrupted to serve one and a half years in the Merchant Marines after which he returned to Tech to earn his degree in business administration.
While at Tech he served as president of the student council, president of the Saddle Tramps and president of the junior class. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.
Mr. Sterling moved to Brownfield and was owner and publisher of the Brownfield News from 1950-62. He was named Outstanding Young Man of Terry County and was a member of the chamber board, Lions and Rotary clubs.
Mr. Sterling moved to Lubbock in 1963 to become a stockbroker with Rauscher Pierce. He also was a stockbroker for Schneider, Burnet and Hickman and then Thompson McKinnan. He retired from Prudential Securities in 2001.
He taught college and high school Sunday school classes at First Baptist Church and was a deacon and Stephen minister at Second Baptist Church.
Mr. Sterling served on the community development advisory council, was a past-president of the Texas Tech Ex-Student’s Association and was a member of the Texas Tech University Century Club, a United Way volunteer and a member of Lubbock Country Club.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marijo “Josie” Sterling of Lubbock; two daughters and a son-in-law, Janice Haney of Dallas and Suzanne and Dr. Robert King of Lubbock; four brothers, J.M. Sterling of Howard County, Howard Sterling of Snyder and Buford Sterling and Mickey Sterling, both of Ira; a sister, Doris Spikes of Snyder; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Tommy Jr.
