Jovito Nunez, 24, of Andrews died Friday April 4, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Funeral services were held Tuesday April 8, at 2 p.m. at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phil Marroquin officiating. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Mr. Nunez was born February 15, 1979, in Presidio. He moved to Andrews as a baby in 1979. He graduated from Andrews High School where he was very active in football and power lifting.
He married Ana Lopez on October 4, 2002, in Andrews.
He is survived by his wife, Ana Nunez of Andrews; a son, Brandon Seth Nunez of Andrews; his parents, Luis and Aide Nunez, Sr.; three brothers, Luis Nunez, Jr., Eric Nunez and Aaron Nunez all of Andrews; and a sister, Jerika Olivas of Andrews.

Geraldine "Jerry" Minica, 82, of Andrews died Sunday April 13, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 at Grace Baptist Church in Andrews with Pat Griffin officiating. Burial was in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Mrs. Minica was born December 28, 1920, in Atlanta, Texas. She moved to Andrews in 1955. She married R.Z. Minica on May 20, 1963, in Andrews. She attended Grace Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, R.Z. Minica of Andrews; sons Wayne Harper of Denver City and Larry Harper of Andrews; daughters, Linda Porter and Diantha Hays both of Andrews two step children, Shirly Agan and Glen Minica both of Brownwood; two brothers, Jim Clayton and Bobby Clayton both of Atlanta; four sisters, Billie Griffen of Douglasville; Carrie Griffen of Odessa, Joyce Evans of Atlanta and Francis Hubbard of Crowley; 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Tommie Longshore, 51, of Andrews died Friday, April 11, in Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, in Andrews North Cemetery with the Rev. Kerry Tilley officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
Mrs. Longshore was born April 3, 1952, in Odessa.
She was married to Billy Longshore on March 8, 1976, in Odessa, moving to Andrews in 1977 from Odessa.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Longshore of Andrews; a son, Mike Henry of Midland; a daughter, Amy Henry of Lubbock; her father, Thomas Booth of Lovington, N.M.; a brother, James Booth of Odessa; two sisters, Rhonda Rogers of Odessa and Donna Stanco of Midland; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Tidwell died Sunday, April 27, in Odessa.
She was born October 19, 1942, in Baytown. She married Kenneth Tidwell on May 18, 1964, in Andrews. She was a manicurist and a Baptist.

Services for Henry Lee Williams, 65, of Andrews were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the graveside in Andrews North Cemetery with the Rev. Benny Anderson officiating. Services were under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Williams died on Tuesday, May 6, in Odessa.
He was born September 22, 1937, in Calvert. Henry worked for Kirby West before retirement.
Survivors include three sons, Mark Templeton of Farmington, N.M., Brian Templeton of Garland, and Henry Lee Williams, Jr.; two daughters, Beverley Williams of Midland, and Sonya Templeton of Andrews; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren
Hal Duane Irwin

Hal Duane Irwin, 77, of Andrews passed away Sunday, May 5, at his home in Andrews.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at 1910 South Hwy. 385 in Andrews with Clayton Penney from Houston officiating.
Mr. Irwin was born October 10, in DeQueen, Ark. He married Carolyn Pakes on April 19, 1991, in Michigan. They loved to travel and were full time RVers until they visited Andrews and moved here in 1996. Hal worked with Alcoholics Anonymous.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Irwin of Andrews; a son, Hal Duane Irwin, II of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Kathrine Johnson of Detroit, Mich.; a stepson, Paul Jensen of Escandeto, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services for Henry E. “Buddy” Morgan, 86, of Andrews were held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Andrews North Cemetery with Rev. Ivy Shelton, pastor of Second Baptist Church in Andrews officiating.
Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews. He was born July 24, 1916 in Granbury.
He married Blanch Elkins on Oct. 12, 1940 in Peacock. They moved to Andrews in 1952 from peacock. He had been a welder for 43 years and a farmer for eight years.
He was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
Four brothers preceded him in death.
Survivors included his wife, Blanch Morgan of Andrews; two sons, Don Morgan of Dallas and Buddy Morgan of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; two daughters, Patricia Bryan and Lena Mae Wilson of Midland; one sister, Flossie Talbert of San Angelo; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Nina Plunkett, 82, of Andrews were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the First Baptist Church in Andrews with Rev. Floyd Haddock, Pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
Mrs. Plunkett died Wednesday, March 26, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
She was born June 5, 1920, in Woodville, Ala. She was a member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary and the First Baptist Church Victory Singers. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews.
She married Adell Plunkett on November 20, 1944, in Huntsville, Ala. They moved to Andrews in 1946 from Huntsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adell, on December 21, 1982; parents, two sisters; and four brothers.
She is survived by a daughter: Pamela Curttright of Austin; two sons: Larry Plunkett of Austin and Jerry D. Plunkett of Andrews; a sister: Pansy Maples of Huntsville, Alabama; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Fay Earl, 81, died Friday, April 4, in Lubbock.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6, in Gaines County Memorial Cemetery in Seminole with the Rev. A.J. Hanks officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home.
Mrs. Earl was born July 14, 1921, in Apache, Okla. She was a deputy sheriff in Andrews County and Gaines County. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was married to George Earl on October 8, 1939, in Cyril Okla. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1993.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Earl and wife Diane and Dusty Earl and wife Debbie, all of Lubbock; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lubbock.

Myrtle Ruth Couch, 90, of Andrews passed away Thursday May 15, at Permian Regional Hospital in Andrews.
Services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday May 17, in McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating. Burial was in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Mrs. Couch was born April 9, 1913, in Colorado City. She married Charles Couch on June 30, 1933, in Davidson, Okla.
They lived here twice, first moving here in 1961 and again since 1973 moving back from Eagle Mountain, Calif. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Andrews where she was involved in her Sunday School Class and the Victory Singers. She was a member of Home Demonstration in Andrews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Couch in 1997.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Grimes, Sue Thompson both of Andrews and Jo Ann Iles of Ft. Worth; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
