Funeral services for Chris McCullough, 18, of Andrews will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 18th, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Donnell, pastor, and Cliff Lightfoot officiating.
Burial will follow the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
He died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Born February 15, 1986 in Andrews he had lived here all his life. He attended Andrews High School and played baseball and received All-District honors in football.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James “Red” and LaVerne McCullough and Jimmie Shellenberger.
Survivors include his parents, Randy and Brenda McCullough of Andrews; one sister, Heather McCullough of Midland; grandfather, James Shellenberger of Fort Stockton; two nephews of Andrews and one niece of Odessa.

Funeral services for Shannon F. May, 33, of Kingwood were held Sept. 18, 2004. Interment followed at Rosewood Cemetery in Porter.
He died at 11:20 a.m. Sept. 14, 2004, in Bastrop in a motorcycle accident.
He was born Aug. 12, 1971, in McKinney. He grew up in Andrews, leaving when the family moved to Midland in 1987. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Willie and Joyce May of Kingwood; his mother and stepfather, Sande and Jim Glaspie of San Angelo; a sister, Tiffany May of Dallas; stepsisters Toni Wadsworth of Dallas and Missey Glaspie of San Angelo; stepbrothers Brad Wadsworth of Hong Kong, China, and Mark and Mike Glaspie of San Angelo; a grandmother, Flo Dean of Big Spring; a step-grandmother, Anna May of Kerrville; and several step-nieces and nephews.

Services for Lee Don Hobbs, 39, of Andrews, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, in Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Ivy Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery.
He died in Odessa Oct. 1, 2004.
He was born Dec. 29, 1964, in Morton. He was a Baptist and worked as a roustabout for Tucker Construction.
Survivors include his father, Vernie Hobbs of Andrews; his daughters, Samantha Valenzuela and Danielle Hobbs, both of Andrews; his brothers, Ricky, Vernon and Jimmy, all of Andrews; and his sisters, Carol Ann Hobbs, Linda Day Cherry, Katina Renee Russell and Charlotte Lorin Garrett, all of Andrews.
Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.

Morris Humphrey, 81, of Andrews died Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Crane Memorial Hospital in Crane, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., February 5th at Second Baptist Church in Andrews. Rev. Ivy Shelton will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Born on May 7, 1923, in Mire, Louisiana, he married Virgie Elizabeth Cornett June 27, 1942, in Texarkana, Texas. They moved to Andrews in 1958 from Odessa. He worked in the oil field for many years and was a mechanic for Sears and was a member of Second Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Humphrey, in 2001.
He is survived by two sons, Don Humphrey, of Cameron, Texas and Mack Humphrey, of Aztec, NM; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Rev. Mitchell H. Culp, 80, of Andrews will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2005 at the Andrews Church of God with Pastor Timothy G. Chenault, of Sherman, Pastor Jason Connor of Andrews, and Pastor Ken Redmond, of Midland, officiating. Military graveside services will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
He died Thursday, March 10th at Hospice Midland Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Born July 31, 1924, in Clifton, Texas, to Obadiah Culp and Alice Weldon Culp, he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Chloe Southern on June 2, 1942, in Mineral Wells. He had pastored churches in Progress, Texas, Grandview and Mt. Vernon, Washington. He was pastor of the Andrews Church of God for 23 years. He also worked as a painter for Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews for 30 years, and was a member of the Andrews Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, O.D. and Bob Culp; and a granddaughter, Karina Culp.
He is survived by his wife, Chloe Culp of Andrews; two sons, Charles Culp of Lewisville and Don Culp of East Wenatchee, Washington; two daughters, Bonnie Edenfield of Bend, Oregon and Sherrie Taylor of Lewisville; one sister, Opal Webster of Mineral Wells; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Evelyn 'Ma' Lisenbee

Funeral services for Evelyn Christine "Ma" Lisenbee, 88, of Andrews, will be at 2 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2005 in McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Charlie Johnson. Burial will follow in Lamesa Memorial Park Cemetery in Lamesa. Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
Christine died Thursday, April 21st, in Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews. Born on November 29, 1916, in Runnels County, Texas, she married Hassie Lisenbee on December 22, 1935, in Lovington, New Mexico. She lived in Lamesa before moving to Andrews. She was a retired bank teller and was a member of the Northridge Methodist Church in Lamesa.
Her husband, Hassie, preceded her in death on September 28, 1995.
Survivors include two daughters, Bobbie Nelson, of Minnetonka, MN and Sherry Coats, of Andrews; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Gene P. Hamilton, 63, of Andrews were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005, at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Jeff Donnell, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial followed in the Andrews West Cemetery, under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Gene died Wednesday, April 27th, at his residence. Born on December 10, 1941, in Gorman, Texas, Gene was a Baptist, a past member of the Andrews County Sheriff’s Posse, West Texas Trail Riders and had been active with the United Softball Association. Gene was the superintendent for John R. Parrish Company where he had worked for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Alvin and Addie Hamilton; two sons, Randy, on April 27, 1993, and Heath on November 21, 2003; a brother, J.T Hamilton and sister, Alice Fern Hamilton.
Survivors include a son, Roland Hamilton and wife, Lynn, of Houston; a daughter, Leah McCarver and husband, Ronnie, of Andrews; a brother, Alvin Hamilton and wife Jackie of De Leon; sisters, Patsy Johnson and husband David of Dallas and Cherry Young of Ft. Worth; six grandchildren, Cheyenne, Emily, Reed, Brazos, Allie and Bailey.

Funeral services for Dorothy Greer, 78, of Andrews, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28th, at Heartland Funeral Home. The Rev. Lynn Turnbow officiated. Interment followed in the Zephyr Cemetery.
Mrs. Greer died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, in Andrews.
Born September 26, 1926 in Brown County, she married Bert Greer on December 24, 1940. She worked in food service for Brownwood ISD for 13 years. She moved from Brownwood to Andrews in 1966. She was Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Riley Greer; sister Lurlene Greer; three brothers, Homer Brown, Dub Brown and Marvin Brownrigg, and her parents, Porter and Ellen Brown.
Survivors included two daughters, Frances Longshore and husband, Bobby, of Andrews and Barbara Slack and husband, Billy, of Yukon, OK; grandchildren Trina Dean of Midland, Sonja Robinson of Las Vegas, Timberly Smith of Oklahoma City, OK, and Mark Longshore of Andrews; great-grandchildren Eydie and Grant Guelker and Clay Guelker-Dean, all of Midland, Dylan Riley Robinson of Las Vegas and Cody and Ashley Longshore of Andrews.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
H.B. 'Butch' Altman

H.B. “Butch” Altman, Sr., 87, of Andrews passed away Friday, April 29, 2005 at his home in Andrews.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Abilene City Cemetery in Abilene, under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Jimmy Craddock of Abilene will officiate.
Born May 17, 1917, in Winters, Texas, he grew up in Abilene. He married Lillie Kate Fields July 19, 1939, in Sweetwater. They lived in California for many years where he owned and operated grocery stores and was a butcher. They moved to Andrews in 1999 from Gilmer, Texas.
He enjoyed fishing and going to the lake and in his younger years, he liked to play golf.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Altman of Andrews; two sons, H.B Altman, Jr. and Pierre Altman, both of Olympia, Washington; four daughters, Lillian Kathryn Burns of Custer, WA, Leigh Yvonnia Bryning of Corona, CA, Marie Cherrier Burke of Corona, CA and Cecilia Annette Flores of Riverside, CA; two sisters, Maxine Quinta and Ailene Weaver both of Abilene; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

J.L. Perry, 72, of Buffalo, Texas, died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at College Station Medical Center in College Station, Texas.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Rev. Dean Williamson of Andrews officiated. Burial was in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Born February 2, 1933, in Rusk, Texas, he married Lou Ann Scoggins May 27, 1961, in Tioga, Texas. They lived in Andrews for over 38 years. They moved to Buffalo in 2001. He worked in the oil field for years and was known as “Levi” to many of his co-workers. He ran the first Cat Drilling Rig in West Texas and was featured on the Cover of Texas Monthly Magazine. In 1988 he started his own business, Perry’s Tire Store, in Andrews and operated it until he retired in 2001.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Perry of Buffalo; three sons, Jay Perry of Andrews, Jeff Perry of Rankin and Joel Perry of Leona; one daughter, Jennifer Perry-Darrow of Big Spring; five brothers, Troy Perry of Center, Charlie Perry of Palestine, Blue Perry of Corsicana, Pop Perry of Madisonville and Jim Perry of Ackerly, Texas; three sisters, Eloise Roberts of Pointer, Texas, Ann Perry of Palestine and Dorothy Henderson of Palestine; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
