Treva Yeager Farmer, 89, of Andrews were held Friday, Aug. 26, in the Andrews Old Cemetery with Felder Hogan of Andrews officiating. Services were under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
She died on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
She was born Dec. 20, 1915, in Rule, to Hairan Judson Swinney and Ellen A. Bailey. She married Eugene Wesley Yeager, who died in 1969.
She married Stephen Edward Farmer, Sr., and he preceded her in death in 1999.
She moved to Andrews in 1974 from Levelland and worked as a nurse at Permian General Hospital for 6 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Andrews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Phil Yeager in 1969 and Jerry Yeager in 1991; two brothers and 11 sisters.
Survivors include four granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
Parelee Gooch

Parelee “Perry” Gooch, 96, of Odessa died Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Avalon Place in Odessa.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 27, in Andrews Old Cemetery. The Rev. Alvin Petty, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church in Andrews, officiated. Services were under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
She was born Nov. 24, 1908, in Enid, Okla. She married Arthur T. Gooch on March 29, 1930, in Wagner, Okla.
They lived in Andrews from 1948 to 1988. She was a homemaker and a member of Wesley Methodist Church in Andrews, as well as a member of the Andrews Lions Club Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994, and two sons, Arthur Gooch in 1961 and Donald Gooch in 1964.
Survivors include five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchil-dren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Harley Christopher Wade Orson, 2 months, of Andrews, were held Tuesday, Aug. 30, at First Church Of The Nazarene in Andrews with the Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Burial followed in Andrews North Babyland Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
He died Saturday, Aug. 27, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
He was born June 2, 2005, in Andrews to Beau Truman Casey Orson, Sr. and Amanda Lea Wilson Orson.
He is survived by his parents, Beau and Amanda Orson of Andrews; a brother, Beau Orson, Jr. of Andrews; grandparents, Jim and Bobby Cardinal of Andrews, Bill and Mary Orson of Andrews, Bertha Orson of New Iberia, La., and Billy Hobbs, Jr. of Odessa; and great grandmother, Wanda Penney of Andrews.

Clyde Gunnels, Jr., 57, died Saturday, Aug. 27, in Andrews.
He was born May 24, 1948, in Lubbock to Clyde and Geneva Gunnels.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Karen King.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby, of the home; his children, Donna and Douglas of Lubbock; two sisters, Kaye Clawson of Coahoma and Anita Schlottmann of Ennis; two brothers, Larry Gunnels of Grant, Okla. and Roger Gunnels of Llano, and several grandchildren.

Rosary services for Alvaro “Lito” Rodriquez, 32, of Andrews were held Wednesday, Aug. 31, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews with the Rev. Bernard Gully, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Rodriquez died Sunday, Aug. 28, in Ward County. He was born June 29, 1973, in Andrews and was a lifelong resident.
He married Lea Muniz, July 20, 2002, in Andrews. He worked for Andrews Pump and Supply as a machinist and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Antonio and Margarita Lopez and Santos Rodriquez.
Survivors include his wife, Lea Rodriquez of Andrews; a daughter, Jenny Molina Rodriquez of Andrews; his parents, Alvaro and Felipa “Blackie” Rodriquez of Andrews; three brothers, Robert and Tony Ramirez of Andrews, and George Ramirez of Anthony; and two sisters, Mary Jane Baeza and Kristy Rodriquez, both of Andrews.

Services for Neva Lee, 87, of Andrews, were held Wednesday, Sept. 7, in McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Neva died Sunday, Sept. 4 in Andrews. She was born March 26, 1918, in Scurry County.
She married William J. Lee on Oct. 22, 1936, in Snyder. They owned Basin LP Gas Company in Andrews.
She was a member of the Andrews Church of Christ.
Mr. Lee preceded her in death on October 3, 1993.
Survivors include a son, Gaylan Lee of Andrews; three daughters, Joyce Adams of Midland, and Janis Overman and Sheila Bland, both of Andrews; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Neva “Granny” Bennett, 91, of Andrews, will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Andrews Church of Christ with Mark Wilson, Rodney Noble, Moody Conner and Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
Neva passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at her residence in Andrews.
She was born Neva Christine Grimes to Flora and James Grimes in Checotah, Okla., on December 5, 1913.
Neva graduated from high school and commercial college in Ardmore, Okla. She was married to Roy Davis Bennett, Sr., on March 15, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Okla. In 1949, they bought a 160-acre farm on Ruskin Road and settled down to raise the family.
They opened a feed store on the spot now occupied by the county library and also sold appliances to supplement the feed business. Soon the furniture and appliance business grew enough that it took over as the family business, and Bennett’s Furniture was born.
Roy became involved in politics and was elected county judge in 1962.
Roy and Neva had three children, Roy D., Phyllis and Ellen.
Neva was a charter member of the Pink Ladies Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Andrews Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, Sr.; her son, Roy D., Jr.; and one granddaughter, Virginia Christine Hoffman.
Neva is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Ann Bain of Shreveport, La., and Ellen Hoffman of Andrews; five grandchildren, Bryan Hoffman, Angela Porter, Billy Joe Bain, Deborah McBride and Bradley Bain; and eight great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Chelsea Hoffman, Averee and Tyler Porter, Melissa Carlisle, Dustin and Mariah McBride and Amanda Bain.

Graveside services for James Wood “Jim” Butler, Sr., 78, of Andrews were held Monday, Sept. 19, in the Andrews West Cemetery with Gregory D. Young of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Andrews officiating. Services were under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
Butler died Sunday, Sept. 18, at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
He was born June 12, 1927, in Cone to William Fred Butler and Addie Leona Morgan Butler. He married Mary Ellen Conwell on Jan. 31, 1948, in Lubbock.
They moved to Kermit in 1959, where he worked for the Kermit Public Schools as a custodian and a bus driver until 1977. After relocating to Andrews that same year, he worked as a custodian for the Andrews County Courthouse.
He owned and operated Jim’s Mower Service in Andrews from 1987 until the present. He was a member of McKinney Acres Baptist Church.
His wife preceded him in death on August 7, 1985. Also preceding him in death were his parents, a brother and a grandchild.
Survivors include a son, James W. Butler, Jr. of Andrews; a daughter, Janice M. Arnold of Sweetwater; a brother, J.C. Butler of Abilene; a sister, Maurine McReynolds of Ralls; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jessica Wright, 27, of Andrews died Monday, Sept. 19, in Fort Stockton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. The Rev. Ivy Shelton, pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church in Odessa, will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Jessica was born March 30, 1978, in Big Spring. She moved to Andrews with her family when she was one month old.
She married Thomas Wright in 1995 in Big Lake.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Andrews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, J.W Pipkin, in 1979; her husband, Tommy Wright, in 1997; and an uncle, Jimmy Pipkin, in 2005.
Survivors include two daughters, Tori and Cori Wright of Bandera; a son, Robert Puckett of Bandera; her father, Robert Hale of Big Spring; her mother, Dianne DeShazo of Bandera; a brother, Daniel Patterson of Andrews; and her grandmother, Doris Pipkin of Andrews.
