Mrs. Tobar
Funeral services for Margarita Tobar, 89, of Lampasas were Aug. 6, 2003, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Barry Cabell officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Tobar died Aug. 3 at Lampasas Nursing & Rehab.
She was born Oct. 17, 1913, in Lometa, to Silverio and Dolores Alvarado Robles.
She was married to Francisco Tobar.
Mrs. Tobar was a housewife and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Guadalupana and Cursillista.
She had lived in the community all of her life.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Frank and Dorothy Tobar Jr., of Lampasas; daughters, Erlinda Moreno, and husband, Saragosa, of Lampasas, Mary Loy Tobar and Mary Jane Tobar, both of Austin, and Margie Cantu, and husband, Lupe, of San Antonio; one brother, Eusebio Robles, and wife, San Juana, of Laredo; one sister, Romana Jimenez, of Laredo; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three children, two sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Vann
Ruth Ellis Vann, 105, of Lampasas died Aug. 5, 2003, at Lampasas Nursing & Rehab.
Funeral services are Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas with the the Rev. Mark Barnard officiating. Burial will follow at Naruna Cemetery in Burnet County.
Mrs. Vann was born Nov. 14, 1897, in Burnet County, to Clinton Dewitt and Emma Bowman Bodenhamer. She had lived in three centuries.
She was married to Everett Morris Vann.
Mrs. Vann was a homemaker. She played the piano and taught Sunday School at Naruna Baptist Church, where she was a member for about 80 years. She volunteered at area nursing homes for many years, going there to wash the hair of residents.
She had lived all of her life in Burnet and Lampasas counties.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Morris and Nikki Vann, of Lampasas; a daughter, Emma Lou Pierce, of Lampasas; seven grandchildren; and eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Vann was preceded in death by her husband in 1946; by two sons, Clarence D. Vann and John Frank Vann; and by a brother, Frank Bodenhamer.
The family requests memorials be made to Naruna Baptist Church or to the charity of one's choice.
Mr. Fletcher
Russell Glen Fletcher, 41, of Lampasas died Aug. 1, 2003, in Lampasas County.
Funeral services are Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. at Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home with the Rev. James Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
He was born Oct. 9, 1961, in Odessa, to William Lawrence Fletcher and Nancy Jane Ashley.
Mr. Fletcher worked for Harrison Well Service in Lampasas in the service department. He served a short time in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
He was a member of the non-denominational Pentecostal faith, having been a member of Cornerstone Worship Center in McKinney.
Mr. Fletcher had lived in Lampasas for seven years, coming from Princeton.
He is survived by a son and his wife, Micheal Glen and Theresa Fletcher, of Arkansas; five daughters, Misty Ann Fletcher, Jessica LeeAnn Fletcher and Christina Nichole Fletcher, all of Princeton, and Kelli Jo Fletcher and Chancey DeLane Fletcher, both of Lampasas; his father of Lampasas; his mother, of Andrews; one brother and his wife, Larry and Sylvia Fletcher, of Lampasas; three sisters and their husbands, Becky and Arnold Terry, of Big Springs, Ann and Rudy Llorente, of Boyton Beach, Fla., and Kim and Richard Whitt, of Dripping Springs; three grandchildren, Tasha Lynn Fletcher and Cody Lee Stewart, both of Princeton, and Shahala Denise Fletcher, of Lampasas; his stepmother, Billie Greer, of Lampasas; and his stepfather, Darrell (Tinker) Ashley, of Andrews.

Mr. Nabinger
Funeral services for Jessie J. Nabinger, 18, of Fonda, N.Y., were Aug. 4, 2003, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home Inc. of Gloversville, N.Y., with the Rev. Winston Hallett officiating.
Burial will follow Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. at Kempner City Cemetery.
Mr. Nabinger died July 31 at Canajoharie, N.Y.
He was born Aug. 3, 1984, in Gloversville, the son of James Sr. and Sandra Gay Nabinger. He lived in Gloversville as a child and was later educated in Lampasas and at the Marine Military Academy in Hadegan, Texas.
Mr. Nabinger had resided in Fonda the past year and was employed at Truckstops of America in Fultonville, and by Lexington Center.
He is survived by his father of Ephratah, N.Y., his mother, Sandra Hackbirth, of Lampasas; three brothers, James Nabinger Jr., of Fonda, Danny Smith Jr., of Kenedy, Texas, and Aaron Smith, of Anchorage, Alaska; three sisters, Tammy Vogle, of Gloversville, Michelle Hallett, of Kempner, and Melissa Hoff, of Lampasas; a grandmother, Norma Raymond Jones, of Gloversville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert Gay, Chester Jones and Henry Nabinger.

Mr. Seibert
Henry Earl "Hank" Seibert, 46 of Lubbock, died July 30, 2003.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Seibert was born March 13, 1957, in Xenia, Ohio, to George F. and Mary Ann Seibert. He moved to Odessa in 1958.
He was a graduate of Coronado High School in El Paso, and earned a degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 1981, where he was a member of Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity.
He was a teacher for the Kent Independent School District, and later worked for Taylor Publishing in Dallas.
Survivors include sisters, Carol Vaughn, of Lubbock, Marjorie Seibert, of Abilene, and Virginia Seibert of El Paso; brothers, Fred Seibert, of El Paso, and John, Seibert of Lampasas; and six nephews and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Ringer
Harvey E. Ringer, 75, of Brady died July 27, 2003, at San Angelo.
Funeral services were July 31 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Brady with the Revs. Wade Copeland and Gaylon Morris officiating. Burial followed at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Mr. Ringer was born June 1, 1928, in Nix, to K E and Gorda Lee Palmer Ringer.
He married Neta Fay Jones on Dec. 30, 1949, in Lometa.
Mr. Ringer was a rancher and a fence builder. He worked on many ranches in Sonora, Lampasas, Miller, Mo., and Dalhart before coming to work on the Richard Ranch for Carlos Richter in 1960.
He was named an Outstanding 4-H Leader and was very active in FFA and other activities with his children. He was a volunteer for Heart of Texas Rehab Day.
Mr. Ringer was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife of Brady; one son, Larry Ringer, and wife, Arlene, of Junction; one daughter, Cindy Ringer, of San Angelo; two sisters, Loita Ramsey and Marguerite Ramsey, both of Lampasas; three grandsons, Cody Ringer, of Alpine, and Clay and Craig Ringer; one great-grandson; a niece and nephew; one sister-in-law, Earline Jones; and a number of cousins.
He was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law and a nephew.
The family requested memorials be made to National Kidney Foundation of North Texas or West Texas Rehab of San Angelo.

Mr. Collins
Graveside services for Travis Lee Collins, 57, of Lampasas are Dec. 3, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Mr. Collins died Nov. 29 at his residence.
He was born May 12, 1945, in Lampasas, the son of Hubert Lee Collins and Willie Ferguson Lincycomb.
He married Dorothy Easter on Nov. 27, 1967, in Waco.
Mr. Collins was a mechanic for Parks Precast in Burnet. He was a member of Church of the Spoken Word in Lampasas. He had lived in the community most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of West; a son, Travis Collins II, of West; a daughter, Tracy Hyden, of Brady; his father of Cherokee; his mother of Lampasas; two brothers, Richard Collins, of Liberty Hill, and James Collins, of Waco; two sisters, Wannita Dycus, of Buchanan Dam, and Virginia Collins, of Austin; three grandchildren, Michele Hyden, Amy Hyden and Kelly Hyden, all of Brady; and one great-grandchild, Parker Hyden, of Brady.
The family requested memorials be made to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston.
