Mr. Henderson
Jesse Anthony Henderson, 63, of Lampasas died Nov. 2, 2006, at his residence.
Funeral services were Nov. 5 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with Minister Reid Schaub officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Henderson was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Lampasas, the son of Robert and Opal Herring Henderson.
He married Patsy Linville on May 14, 1994, in Lampasas.
Mr. Henderson had worked for Star Propane (formerly Lampasas Butane Gas Co.) for more than 30 years. He was a lifetime member of AMVETS and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Lampasas; daughters, Teresa Reid, and husband, Rickey, of Lampasas, Missy Morris, and husband, Donnie, of DeLeon, and Opal Campbell, and husband, Wayne, of Liberty Hill; a son, Kenneth Davis, and wife, Stephanie, of Gatesville; brothers, Bobbie Henderson, of Kempner, and Jon Henderson, of Killeen; grandchildren, Tanner Reid, Holden Morris, Joseph Campbell, Tara Reid, Paige Morris, Amber Field, Courtney Field and Kasie Davis; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by an infant son, Joseph Robert Henderson; and by a brother, Donald Ray Henderson.
The family requested memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.

Mr. Mullins
Bart J. Mullins, 77, of Copperas Cove died Oct. 27, 2006, at his residence.
A memorial service is Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall in Lampasas. The body will be cremated.
Mr. Mullins was born Jan. 21, 1929, in Bartlick, W.Va., the son of Arlie Douglas and Bethel Cochran Mullins.
He was a well-decorated soldier in the U.S. Army, serving in both Korea and Vietnam.
Mr. Mullins enjoyed studying his Bible, fishing, working on automobiles and getting together with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Marianne Mullins, of Copperas Cove; three sons, Gary Mullins, of Harker Heights, Teddy Mullins, of Copperas Cove, and Roger Mullins, of Salado; a brother, Jack Mullins, of Virginia; and three sisters, Mary Ann Ottinger, of Florida, Loise Jean Rose, of Michigan, and Reba Lucille Johns, of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Trula Mullins, and by a brother, Jim Mullins.

Mr. Shrader
Longtime automobile dealer Franklin Dan Shrader, 73, of Lampasas died Oct. 26, 2006, at his residence.
A memorial service was Oct. 28 at First United Methodist Church in Lampasas. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Shrader was born March 14, 1933, in Rockwall to Ryder and Lucille Shrader.
He graduated from Corsicana High School in 1950, and from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches in 1954.
After college, Mr. Shrader followed in his father's footsteps and worked for Texas Power & Light in Mineral Wells, Waco and Irving, where he became the central division sales manager.
Longtime friend Jim Hoffpauir invited Mr. Shrader to become a sales manager in Hoffpauir's new car dealership in Lampasas. Mr. Shrader later became a GM dealer as the business expanded to Burnet.
He was president of the Lampasas Lions Club and served on the board of the Comanche Trail Boy Scouts Council for 10 years. Mr. Shrader also was a board member of the U.S. Army Board of Governors and on the Seton Highland Lakes Hospital board in Burnet. In addition, he had been director of the board of trustees for First United Methodist Church in Euless and Lampasas.
Mr. Shrader was an Eagle Scout and supported Boy Scout troops in the Central Texas area.
He enjoyed camping trips and annual visits to Colorado.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane, of Lampasas; by daughters and their husbands, Lisa and Scott Garanflo of Georgetown, and Amy and Ronny Davis of Lampasas; two grandchildren, Lillie and Shrader Davis, of Lampasas; sisters, Ann Elizabeth Smith of Corpus Christi, and Becky Jordan and husband, Marcus, of Malakoff; a sister-in-law, Norma Field, of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Leon Cargill, Billy Field, Jeremy Freehill, Lee Hoffpauir, Richard Jordan, Richard Mattison, Mikell Smith and Patrick Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Charlie Cummins, Allan Cunningham, Waymon Davis, Charlie Floyd, John Hendricks, Jim Hoffpauir, Bill Miller and Glen White.
The family requested memorials be made to First United Methodist Church in Lampasas or the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Brice
A memorial service for Marlene May Brice, 59, of Kempner is Nov. 1, 2006, at 4 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
Her body will be cremated.
Mrs. Brice died Oct. 28 at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple.
She was born May 8, 1947, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to George and Sarah Rehn Eisenach.
Mrs. Brice had been a telephone operator for a number of years. She also was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Brice, of Kempner; daughters, Brandi Ann Brice, of Lampasas, and Shannette Marlene Brice, of Kempner; three sisters, Loraine Miller, of Riverton, Wyo., Delores Schroeder, of Chicago, Ill., and Jodeen Martin, of Sheridan Wyo.; and three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Justin and Seth.
She was preceded in death by a son, Cody Marlin Brice, on Feb. 6, 1975; and by a brother, Ralph Eisenach.

Mr. Stevenson
Funeral services for Robert Louis Stevenson, 73, a retired maritime crew member, were Dec. 7, 2006, at Mount Olivet Chapel in Fort Worth. Burial was at Saginaw Cemetery in Saginaw.
Mr. Stevenson died Dec. 5 at a Fort Worth hospital.
He was born Jan. 11, 1933, in Lometa, the son of Joseph and Linnie Stevenson.
Mr. Stevenson served in the U.S. Navy from Aug. 1, 1952 until he was honorably discharged on July 25, 1956. He earned a National Defense Service Ribbon and a Good Conduct Medal for his service.
Mr. Stevenson's love of ships transferred to civilian life when he became a mariner working the Texas Gulf Coast.
He was a resident of Fort Worth for many years.
Survivors include sons, Robert A. Green, and wife, Mary Ann, and Richard "Tony" Green, of Bonny Lake, Wash., Vernon "Joe" Stevenson, and wife, Vickie, of Medford, Ore., and Robert "Bobby" Stevenson, and wife, Marie, and David Hartgraves, and wife, Cathy, all of Stockton; a daughter, Kim Bishop, and husband, Steve, of Escalon, Calif.; brothers, Olin, Tom and Daniel Stevenson; and numerous grandchildren.

Mrs. Study
Funeral services for Mary Jo Study, 65, are Dec. 8, 2006, at 10 a.m. Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park. Graveside services will follow at Long Cove Cemetery in Lometa.
Mrs. Study died Dec. 6.
She was born Nov. 25, 1941, in Lampasas County. She graduated from Lometa High School and married Stephen H. Study in 1962.
Mrs. Study worked at Federal Savings and Equitable Savings where she retired as assistant branch manager.
She enjoyed family camping trips, traveling and quilting.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Stephen D. Study, and wife, Karen, of League City, and David H. Study, and wife, Shannon, of Pflugerville; a brother, Dale Manning, of Burnet; sisters, Linda Sue Manning, of Marble Falls, and Vonnie Gartman, and husband, Joe, of Leander; and grandchildren, Samantha Study, of League City, and Madeline, Catherine and Nicholas Study, of Pflugerville.

Mrs. Foster
A memorial service for Almeda Maxine Foster, 84, of Lampasas was Dec. 3, 2006, at Countryside Baptist Church with Troy Young officiating.
The body was cremated.
Mrs. Foster died Dec. 1 at her residence.
She was born Sept. 10, 1922, in Falls Creek, Pa., to Carl A. and Freda Mae Britton Foster.
She married Elmer Foster on Nov. 17, 1942, in Olean, N.Y.
Mrs. Foster was a bookkeeper in the banking industry. She was a member of Countryside Baptist Church near Kempner.
Survivors include her husband of Lampasas; three sons, Donald Foster and Raelene, Lonnie Foster, and Gary Foster, all of Lampasas; a son-in-law, Chris Eiserman; grandchildren, Tina Priest, Donald Foster Jr., Susan Bovine, Shannon Bell, Miranda Dvorak, Marissa Shanklin and Misty Beck; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Eiserman.

Mr. Smith
Bobby Jack Smith of Lampasas died Nov. 30, 2006, at a San Antonio hospital. He was 41.
Funeral services were Dec. 3 at First United Methodist Church in Lampasas with the Rev. Mark Barnard officiating. Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Bertram.
Mr. Smith was born June 10, 1965, in Lampasas, the son of Bobby Joe Smith and Donna Hodges.
He grew up in Lampasas and graduated from high school there.
Mr. Smith married Cathy Carroll on Dec. 31, 1983, in Lampasas.
He attended First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Team Roper's Association and the U.S. Team Roper's Association.
Survivors include his wife of Lampasas; a daughter, Brandi Smith, of San Diego, Calif.; two sons of Lampasas, Dakota Smith, attending McMurry University, and Hunter Smith, attending Blinn College; his mother, Donna Tyson, and husband, Clyde, of Lampasas; his father of Lampasas; and a sister, Lacye Slagle, and husband, Wade.

Mrs. Anderson
Maedelle Anderson, 91, died Dec. 1, 2006, at Sagebrook Health Care Center in Cedar Park.
Graveside services were Dec. 3 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Mrs. Anderson was born July 10, 1915, in Goldthwaite.
She and her late husband, Frank Anderson, reared their family in Lampasas. After his death in 1992, Mrs. Anderson moved to Grapevine to be near her son and family.
Mrs. Anderson recently moved to the Austin area where her daughter and family reside.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Stephen and Jan Anderson, of Grapevine; a daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Bob Mann, of Austin, a daughter, Sharon Duncan, of Virginia; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
