Mr. Clark
Edward Earl Clark, 94, of Lampasas died May 20, 2007, at Rollins Brook Community Hospital.
No service is planned. The body will be cremated.
Mr. Clark was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Batesville, Ark., to Elijah and Mary Clark.
He was a plumber and a member of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include sons, Danny Clark, of Leakey, Roger Clark, of Victoria, Windell Clark, of Nordheim, and Wayne Clark, of Killeen; and daughters, Linda Clark, of Bandera, and Joy Clark, of Leakey.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Clark.

Mrs. Deorsam
Funeral services for Fern Deorsam, 92, of Killeen were May 24, 2007, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with the Rev. Jack Husung officiating. Burial was at Killeen City Cemetery.
Mrs. Deorsam died May 21 in a Killeen hospital.
She was born July 17, 1914, in Boaz, Texas, to Orbie and Annie Atchison. She was reared in the Antelope community before Fort Hood came to be.
Mrs. Deorsam was a sales associate and a buyer of ladies clothing for various businesses including Bearden's Army Store, Stokes Brothers, Style Shop and The Cedar Chest.
She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and Skyline Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert "Bob" Deorsam and Randy Deorsam, both of Killeen; three daughters, Virginia Ann Reddig, of San Antonio, Sue Phillips, of Lampasas, and Nita Booras, of Killeen; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Deorsam Sr., on Jan. 15, 1999; and by a sister, Melba Wood.
The family requested memorials be made to Skyline Baptist Church Building Fund.

Mrs. Rogers
Ava Fay Rogers, 81, died May 16, 2007.
Memorial services were May 19, 2007, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Brother Steve James officiating.
She was born April 20, 1926, in Temple, to James and Annie West.
Mrs. Rogers moved to Lampasas in 1971 where she resided until her death.
She is survived by children, Leta Beyer and Paul Rogers, both of Lampasas, and Jerry Rogers, of Palestine; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Rogers.
Mr. Waldeck
Gene Lee Waldeck died May 20, 2007, at age 74 after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born Feb. 6, 1933, in Carnegie, Okla.
At the age of 4, Mr. Waldeck contracted polio, but was determined to live life to the fullest. He was a computer consultant and a member of the Episcopal church, Masonic Lodge and Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his wife, Joe Ann Brook, formerly of Lampasas; a brother and his wife; five children; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Interment of remains will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

Mrs. Wolfe
Funeral services for Virgie Lee Wolfe, 94, of Lampasas were May 23, 2007, at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial was at Townsen Cemetery near Adamsville.
Mrs. Wolfe died May 21 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital.
She was born Oct. 15, 1912, to Thomas Newton and Sarah Ewers Blackstock.
She was married to Willie Knox Wolfe, and had lived in Lampasas for 80 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Audrey Rogers, and Linda McMullin, and husband, Donlie, all of Copperas Cove; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Wolfe, of Burnet; grandchildren, Jan Gibson, Kerry Rogers, Larry Rogers, Kirk Wolfe, Randy Wolfe, Jerry McMullin, Larissa Smith and Rocky Wolfe; and great-grandchildren, Jimmy Gonzales, Jeremy Gonzales, Terra Rogers, Ashley Nicole Rogers, Melissa Maples, Ryan Rogers, Sean Sikes, Daniel Sikes, Joshua Smith, Matthew Smith, Stormy Wolfe, Trevor Wolfe, Dillon Wolfe, Cody Wolfe, Weston Wolfe, Peyton Wolfe, Justin Brice and Seth Brice.
Other survivors include great-great-grandchildren, Brianna Watkins, Rene Watkins and Shelby Maples.
Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by her husband; by three sons, W.K. "Red" Wolfe, Dale Gene Wolfe and an infant son; and by a daughter, Mary Faye Wolfe.
The family requested memorials be made to the American Heart Association.

Mrs. Hahn
Funeral services for Jo Donna Hahn of Lampasas were May 21, 2007, at 10 a.m. at First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas with Minister Lon Jones officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Hahn died May 18 at her residence. She was 59.
She was born Oct. 27, 1947, in Huntsville, Ala., to A.W. and Floye Gillespie Chism.
She married Garrett N. Hahn on June 30. 1979, in Jelico, Tenn.
Mrs. Hahn was a teacher's aide for Lampasas Independent School District. She was a member of First Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of Lampasas; daughters, Michelle Lee Hahn, of Midlothian, and Tiffany Ann Benton, of Waco, Ky.; sons, Garrett H. Hahn, of Lampasas, Bryan Lee Hahn, and wife, Gina, of Berea, Ky., and William J. Hahn, of Richmond, Ky.; a sister, Robin Curtis, and husband, Steve, of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, Danny Chism, and wife, Amanda, of Waurika, Okla., Brian Chism, and wife, Karen, of Fayetteville, Ark., Larry Jones and Gary Jones, and wife, Wanda, all of New Market, Ala.; and 12 grandchildren.

Mrs. Cortez-Argo
Rosary was recited for Monica Cortez-Argo, 40, of Austin on May 16, 2007, at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills in Austin. Funeral Mass was May 17 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Leander. Burial was at Assumption Cemetery.
Mrs. Cortez-Argo died May 14 after a long battle with cancer.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Argo; children, Anna-Marie, Andrew, Austin, Gabriel, Savannah and Ian; parents, Carmen and Dora; brothers, Carmelo, Michael-John, Mario, James and Clay; sisters, Veronica, Kathy and Dina; granddaughter, Adisyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Adams
Funeral services for Lela Mae Adams, 86, of Lampasas were May 17, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Kempner with the Rev. Don Casper officiating. Burial was at Kempner Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams died May 14 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.
She was born Sept. 11, 1920, in Bell County, to Thomas Jefferson and Ida Melissa Jackson Wilson.
She married Lamar Adams on Oct. 27, 1987, in Kempner.
Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Kempner.
She is survived by her husband of Lampasas; two sons, Dorman K. Havins, and wife, Connie, of Lampasas, and David K. Dawson, and wife, Dorothy, of Marble Falls; a sister, Faye Cox, of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Reynolds, and a brother, Dewal L. Wilson.

Mrs. Burton
Funeral services for Janice Ladell Burton, 58, of Lampasas were May 14, 2007, at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with the Revs. Spencer Majors, Snell and Agnes Habbitt officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Mrs. Burton died May 10 at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple.
She was born Sept. 15, 1948, in Lampasas, the daughter of Edward and Susie Hamilton Finnell Sr.
She married Bennie Burton on Jan. 16, 1970, in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Burton was a licensed vocational nurse and worked for 17 years at Shepherd Memorial Hospital in Burnet. She most recently worked for Wesleyan Nursing Home in Georgetown.
Mrs. Burton was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Lampasas where she was baptized and had attended since childhood.
Survivors include her husband of Lampasas; three daughters and their husbands, Tomeka Burton and Juan, and TaNeisha Burton and Maurice, all of Copperas Cove, and Tawana and Scott Peterson, of Kempner; one son, B.J. Burton, of Lampasas; her mother, of Lampasas; a brother, Edward Finnell Jr., and wife, Mary, of Houston; a sister, Barbara Butler, of Killeen; and 10 grandchildren, JaJuan Turner, Shaniqua Burton, Deondre Turner, Jaylen Peterson, Jayson Peterson, Jayden Peterson, Deja Chapman, Jade Chapman, Tyra Chapman and Justin Chapman.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Bailey
Lampasas resident Emma B. Bailey, 83, died May 12, 2007, after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services are May 16 at 2 p.m. at Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home with burial to follow at Evant.
Visitation is May 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Bailey was born and reared in the Kempner/Lampasas area. She was the daughter of Jesse and Ruby Hall.
She married V.E. Bailey and they moved to the Fort Worth area where they reared their family.
After her husband's death, Mrs. Bailey returned to Lampasas where she worked in home health services.
She enjoyed crafting and cooking.
Survivors include her children, Evelyn King, and husband, James, of Springtown, Barbara Taylor, and husband, Mike, of Saginaw, Sharon Fortner, and husband, Martin, and Gerald Bailey, and wife, Mary Loy, all of Lampasas; a brother, Herman Hall, and wife, Dorothy, of Clute; a sister, Lola Chaney, of Lampasas; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Hall, of Lampasas; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and by a brother, Lawrence Hall.
