William Stover
William A. Stover of Dallas died Friday at the V. A. Medical Center in Dallas. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Forest Park Cemetery with Rev. W. Glenn Mangrum officiating.
Mr. Stover was born Oct. 10, 1921 in Cash, the son of Arthur Stover and Myrtle Holder. He served in the U. S. Army in World War II. He was a grocery manager and was a member of the Assembly of God church.
He is survived by two sisters, Edna Long of Greenville, and Gertrude Moore of Commerce; two nieces and two nephews.
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

E. C. Taylor
GRAND PRAIRIE - E. C. Taylor, 89, a resident of Grand Prairie, died Friday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie with Dr. Ernest Duncan officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Leonard Cemetery in Leonard.
Mr. Taylor was born on Sept. 5, 1908 in Leonard. He married Versa Reagan on Mar. 7, 1929 and had been a Grand Prairie resident since 1949. He retired from L.T.V. in 1973 after 24 years as a firefighter. He also served for many years as a volunteer firefighter for Grand Prairie. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Grand Prairie.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Versa Taylor of Grand Prairie; a son and daughter-in-law Mike and Robbie Taylor of Cooper; two sisters, Oleta Green and Ordie St. Clair, both of Terrell; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Freddie Myers in 1985 and a brother, Carmel Taylor in 1987.

Rochelle Gardner
SHREVEPORT, La. - Rochelle Kelly Gardner of Shreveport died Thursday after a lengthy illness. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Pearce, Rev. Ellen Alston and Rev. William Peeples officiating.
Mrs. Gardner was born in Seminary, Miss. and was a resident of Shreveport for nine years. She was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church, Fidelis Bible Class - UMW-XYZ and served on several committees.
Mrs. Gardner is survived by her husband, William Gardner Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Ronna and Robert Gardner of Lafayette, La., Kellie and James Hasseltine of Greenville; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Amy Sorrells of Merit; one step-daughter, Drena Huttenchen of Slidell, La.; three step-sons, William Gardner Jr. of Shreveport, Robert Gardner of Lafayette, and Thomas Gardner of Saratoga, N.Y.; grandchildren, Heather, Hilary and Drew Hester, Blake and Kendel Hesseltine; Trey and Rhyleigh Sorrells; and several step-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Ceil and Max Varnell of Corpus Christi; brothers and sister-in-law, Bill Kelly of Gulfport, Miss. and Tom and Louise Kelly of Biloxi, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Velma Kelly; four brothers, John Kelly Jr., Emmitt Kelly, James Kelly, and Robert Kelly; and one sister, Clarice Forrester.
Pallbearers are Mike Turner, Steve Snow, Dave Lockwood, Dan Tally, Larry Hester and Rev. Ed Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are James Sorrells Sr., Neal White, Lester Waters, Phillip Waters, Morris Custer and Dr. Benedict Galloway.
Memorials may be made to Broadmoor United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association.

Lottie Wilson
BLUE RIDGE - Lottie Beatrice Wilson, 81, of Blue Ridge died Thursday at Columbia Medical Center in McKinney. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge with Rev. J.D. Horton and Rev. Todd Bates officiating. Burial is in Blue Ridge Cemetery.
Born Oct. 2, 1916, in Blue Ridge, she was the daughter of John M. and Beaulah Riley Braswell. She married Andrew "Pete"Wilson on April 21, 1940 in Blue Ridge. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge.
Survivors include her husband of Blue Ridge; a daughter, Patricia Padgett of Allen; two sons, Travis Wilson of Rowlett and Orvis Wilson of Blue Ridge; a sister, Ireba Hartsell of Marshall; a brother, Carl Braswell of Whitewright; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Blue Ridge.

John Brooks
John C. Brooks, 42, of Caddo Mills died Sunday in Caddo Mills. Funeral services are at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church in Caddo Mills with Rev. F.W. Willis officiating. Burial is in Grundy Memorial Park.
He was born March 4, 1955, in Greenville to John Wesley and Gossie Brooks. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Caddo Mills.
Survivors include his mother of Caddo Mills; a daughter, Taylor Brooks of Farmersville; four brothers, James Brooks of Farmersville, Chester Kelley and Willie Kelley of Dallas, and Virgil Kelley of San Francisco, Calif.; four sisters, Amelia Hart of Dallas, Kay Lewis of Fort Worth, Louise Houston of Alameda, Calif. and Dorothy Jackson of San Francisco, Calif. and nieces, nephews and friends.
His father preceded him in death.
Grundy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

James Castleberry
James Dale Castleberry, 44, of Greenville died Wednesday in Collin County. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Monsignor John McCallum officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
He was born in Greenville on Nov. 29, 1952 to James Howard Castleberry and Martha Hassell. He was the dry cleaning plant manager at Dry Clean Supercenter in Dallas. Mr. Castleberry was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church.
Surviving are his fiancee, Pam Joyce of Greenville; his mother of Greenville; a son, James Christopher Castleberry of Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Kathy Weis of Greenville and Gale Poteet of Greenville; one niece and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father on Jan. 27, 1985.
Pallbearers will be Bo Hartline, Mike Castleberry, Larry Hassell, Johnny Kuczaj, Charlie Castleberry and Kenny Hartline. Joe Weis, Guy Coffman, Ty Cobb Sanders, Ray Lewis, B.K. Craig, Brad Mirandea and Bubba Dunlap will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Rochelle Gardner
SHREVEPORT, La. - Rochelle Sorrells Gardner, 51, of Shreveport died Thursday in Shreveport. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Osborn Funeral Home. Burial is in Seminary, Miss.
Mrs. Gardner was born June 19, 1936, in Seminary, Miss.; the daughter of John D. and Velma Kelly. She was a former resident of Greenville.
Surviving are her husband, Bill Gardner, of Shreveport; son, Jay Sorrells of Merit; daughters, Ronna Gardner of Lafayette, La. and Kellie Hesseltine of Greenville; brothers, Billy Kelly and Tom Kelly, both of Gulfport, Miss.; sister, Ceil Custer of Corpus Christi; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Jeffery Goode
Jeffery Shane Goode, 25, of Quinlan died Wednesday in Garland. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Sparks officiating. Burial is in Hooker Ridge Cemetery.
The son of William Earl and Glenda Faye Rogers Goode, he was born in Terrell on Jan. 25, 1972. He and Darla Farrington were married in Quinlan on Aug. 1, 1992. Mr. Goode was a highliner with Chapman Construction.
Survivors include his wife of Quinlan; his parents of Greenville; two sons, Shane Goode and Haden Austin Goode, both of Quinlan; a stepson, Brandon Farrington of West Tawakoni; a daughter, Savannah Farrington of Quinlan; three brothers, Sullivon Goode and Bubba Good, both of Quinlan and Wendell Goode of Greenville; a sister, Denna Bush of Warner Robins, Ga. and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J.E. McEnturff of Wills Point and Murtes Land of Waxahachie.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glen Rogers.
Pallbearers aree Dean Bryant, Billy Farrington, Donny Farrington, Donald Wilhoit, Hal Wallace, Russell Shipley and Thomas Colombrito.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home.

Robert Haggerty
DALLAS- Robert Morris Haggerty, 52, of Dallas died Monday in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today at Greater Gethsemane Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Coumpy officiating. Burial is in Lincoln Memorial Park.
The son of Willie Haggerty Sr. and Annie Mae Black Haggerty, he was born in Greenville on Feb. 18, 1945. He was a retired agent for the CIA. Mr. Haggerty was a member of Greater Gethsemane Baptist Church.
He is survived by his stepfather, Virgil Fleming of Greenville; his mother Annie Mae Fleming of Greenville; four sons, Robert Todd Haggerty, Nicolis Haggerty, Christopher Haggerty and Jason Haggerty, all of Dallas; one brother, Rev. Willie Haggerty Jr. of Greenville and two sisters, Barbara Haggerty and Katie Haggerty, both of Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Willie Freeman Jr., John L. Pierce, A.C. Neal, Leon Neal, Craig Neal and Mr. Hollie will serve as pallbearers.
Golden Gate Funeral Home of Dallas is in charge of arrangements.

Paul Kirkman Sr.
Paul Kirkman Sr., 65, of Greenville died Thursday at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services are at Van Sickle Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Roger Ratliff officiating. Burial is in Simmons Cemetery.
Born in Point on Jan. 21, 1932, he was the son of Lindley Elmer Kirkman and Georgia Stigall. He married Betty Tapp on June 22, 1956 in Cash. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Kirkman was an air conditioner technician. He was a member of Van Sickle Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; two sons, Norman Kirkman Jr. of Greenville and Gary Kirkman of Sachse; a daughter, Sherrie Grokett of Campbell; two sisters, Nadine Miller of Odessa and Linda Frasier of Wichita, Kans.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Perfater, Woody Cranfill, Kenneth Parker, Kenny Parker, Kevin Grokett and Bobby Anderson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Princess Hargrove-Smith
WOLFE CITY - Princess Khrystal Hargrove-Smith, infant daughter of Eddie and Pamela Smith of Dallas, died Monday at Baylor Medical Center of Grapevine. She was born Monday.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m., Nov. 24, in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Rev. George W. Lowrey officiating.
Surviving are her parents of Dallas; two sisters, Erica and Nina Smith of Dallas; one brother, Thomas Smith of Dallas; maternal grandparents Aldred and Barbara Hargrove of Fort Worth and Chrys Hargrove of Dallas; paternal grandparents Thomas and Sally Smith Jr. of Dallas; maternal great-grandmother Patsy Hargrove of Fort Worth and paternal great-grandmother Louise Smith of Houston, Miss.
R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City is in charge of arrangements.

Wanda Montgomery
LADONIA - Wanda Margaret Montgomery of Ladonia died Tuesday at her home. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church with Bob Posey of Bonham officiating. Burial is in the Ladonia Cemetery.
She was born in Fannin County on Jan. 25, 1924, daughter of Willie Andrew Jackson Owens and Ada Lee McKinney Owens. She and Norman Lee Montgomery were married May 30, 1942. Mrs. Montgomery had worked for East Texas State University of Commerce.
Survivors include her husband of Ladonia; a daughter, Sue Cook of Vernon; two brothers, Leroy Owens of North Carolina and Dwight Owens of Fort Worth; a sister, Doris Skinner of Honey Grove; two grandchildren, Jana Villemain of San Antonio and Glen Cook of Lubbock and one great-grandson, Ean Villemain.
