QUINLAN " Anne Olena Kiowski of East Tawakoni died Saturday at Baylor Hospital of Garland. Services are at Calvery Hill in Dallas at 10 a.m. Friday.
Born Oct. 29, 1926 in Clifton, she was the daughter of D.H. and Annie Dunstader McNamara. She was a housewife.
Mrs. Kiowski is survived by her husband, Alfred Kiowski of East Tawakoni; two sons, David Kiowski and Patrick Kiowski; three daughters, Mary Kiowski, Donna Corbett and Treasa Pattrick; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Dr. Bertran Davis
COMMERCE " Dr. Bertan E. Davis, 78, of Commerce died Saturday in Commerce. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church of Commerce with Dr. Elisha Paschal and Dr. Nancy Jo Humfeld officiating. Burial is in Rosemound Cemetery.
Dr. Davis was born June 12, 1922, in San Antonio; the son of Benjamin Edwin and Minnie Annabelle Davis. He married Betty Hunt on June 2, 1949, in Austin.
Dr. Davis graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in El Paso in 1940. He attended Texas College for Mines & Metallurgy in El Paso for three years. He received his bachelors degrees in music in 1948 and masters degree in music in 1949 from the University of Texas. He received his doctorate from the University of North Carolina in 1969.
Dr. Davis was a U.S. Army veteran; having served in World War II in the U.S., Europe and Gen. George Patton's engineering corps.
A professor of music history at both Ohio State University and East Texas State University (now Texas A&M University-Commerce), Dr. Davis spend most of his life devoted to the history and making of the violin.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Angelo Mazzocco of South Hardley, Mass. and Sally and Phil Boatwright of Mesquite; grandson, Benjamin Boatwright of Mesquite and granddaughter, Annabella Boatwright of Mesquite.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife in 1988.
Pallbearers are Todd Boatwright, David Boatwright, Keith Savage, Jim Deaton and Ken Woodall.
Visitation is from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church organ fund.

W.I. Frazier
W.I. "Mule" Frazier, 93, of Greenville died Sunday at Greencrest Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill McNatt officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mr. Frazier was born May 31, 1907, in Terrell; the son of Monroe and Meda Frazier. He married Bessie White on Nov. 1, 1929, in Lewisville, Ark.
Mr. Frazier was a retired salesman for Frank Wolfe Moving and Storage. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and a longtime member as past president of the Greenville Kiwanis Club.
Surviving are a son, W.I. Frazier Jr. of Longview; daughter, Peggy Frazier of Greenville; sister, Fairy Newby of Lancaster; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Sept. 2, 1994; one sister and two brothers.
Pallbearers are Gary Frazier, Kenneth Frazier, Jim Stuth, Ford Molen, Louis Clark and Stewart Rowe.

Lucille Hagan
Lucille M. "Granny" Hagan, 87, of Greenville died Saturday at Greencrest Manor in Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Kuhl and Rev. Larry Combs officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hagan was born Aug. 11, 1913, in Tahlequah, Okla.; the daughter of Burt F. and Jessie Shrum Marion. She was married to Floyd Hagan on Dec. 3, 1929, in Greenville.
Mrs. Hagan and her husband were among the first employees of the Cash Water Supply. She was a member of Cash Baptist Church, where she was a clerk and historian for several years.
Surviving are son, Bill Hagan of Greenville; daughters, Dorothy Poe of Greenville and Betty Combs of Quinlan; brother, Billy Brown of Cash; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973; two brothers and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Wyman Johnson, Sam Minter, Eulus Smith, Joe Schutz, Jim Elliott and Roy Erickson.
John Hale
John G. Hale, 56, of Greenville died Saturday in Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with his son, John Hale, officiating. The body is to be cremated.
Mr. Hale was born Nov. 11, 1944 in Wise, Va.; the son of William J. and Cleo Wilson Hale. He married Sherry Baldwin on Aug. 29, 1998 , in Las Vegas, Nev.
He was a master technician R&D for Raytheon for 20 years. He was an Eastfield College graduate, a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; sons, John Hale of Bedford, Va. and Michael Hale of Euless; sisters, Shirley Thomas and Sharon Workman, both of Norton, Va.; brothers, Gary Hale of Norton, Va. and Tommy Hale of Wise, Va.; step-son, Richard McBride of Greenville; step-daughters, Misty Hunter and Tasha Horne, both of Plano; and seven granchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Martha Petty
Martha Lou Petty, 68, of Greenville died Saturday at her residence. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memoryland Memorial Park with Rev. David Huggins officiating.
Mrs. Petty was born March 4, 1932, in Blue Ridge; the daughter of James L. and Arizona Addington Downs. She was married to Billy Bob Petty on Nov. 15, 1950 in Farmersville.
She was a Baptist.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Jeanna Petty of Greenville; daughter, Vicki Lester of Greenville; sister, Mattie Henley of Spokane, Wash.; granddaughter, Brittany Petty of Greenville and grandson, Christopher Lester of Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her husband in January, 1996; two brothers and five sisters.
Honorary pallbearers are J.D. Donnahoe, David Cantrell, Monty White, Ed Coffman, Bobby Lyday and Jeremy Coffman.

LONE OAK " Ernest E. Bilson, 75, died Thursday in Dallas. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. today at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak City Cemetery.
Mr. Bilson was born May 21, 1925 in Battlecreek, Mich. to Lewis and Ada Townsend Bilson. He married Jean Stokes on Sep. 3, 1988 in Dallas.
Mr. Bilson was a member of Westgate Bible Church and was a deacon of the church. He was a retired salesman and printer.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Ernest E. Bilson Jr. of Meeker County; daughters Sherry Maxwell of Anchorage, Alaska and Diannia Lissiak of Dallas; a brother, Luther Bilson of Battlecreek, Mich.; sister Alcinda Johnson of Battlecreek, Mich.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The son of Leslie and Maggie Davis, he was born July 20, 1960 in Greenville. He married Darlene Alex.
Mr. Davis served in the U.S. Army from 1979 to 1983. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; stepmother Perlie Davis of Greenville; son O'Shay Alex of Greenville; stepson Jerome Davis of Garland; a daughter, Constance Elaine Alex of Greenville; a brother, Lessie James Davis of Dallas; stepbrothers Melvin, Larry, Herbert and Percy and Godbrother William; two sisters, Helen Fisher of Lake of the Pines and Charlotte Davis of Greenville and four stepsisters, Brenda, Marilyn, Faye and Emma.

Helen King
Helen Ann King, 85, of Greenville died Thursday evening at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Johnson Street Church of Christ with Rick Henslee officiating. Burial is in Webb Hill Cemetery.
The daughter of Bryan J. Taggart and Zenobia Burton Taggart, she was born Sep. 10, 1915 in Hunt County. She and Roy L. King were married in Greenville in 1947.
Mrs. King graduated from Greenville High School and East Texas State University and was a former school teacher. She was a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, Jan Bourland of Duncanville; sister, Lelia Beth Holt of Garland; granddaughter Kelly Chacon of Houston and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1984.

EMORY " Johnnie Mack Martin, 67, of Mineola died Friday at his home. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Sunday at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial is in Dunbar Cemetery.
Born Oct. 22, 1933 in Van Zandt County, he was the son of Dewey Martin and Bonnie Hurley. He married Juiance Brimer in Kaufman in 1980.
Mr. Martin worked in maintenance at Greenbrier Country Club. He was a Pentecostal.
Surviving are his wife of Mineola; sons Ricky Martin of Canton, Charles Burns of Dallas and Wayne Yates of Elmo; daughters Connie Dunbar of Edgewood, Bonnie Mays of Emory, Kay Sheridan of Emory, Carol Smith of Emory, Mary George of Mineola, Rose Matthews of Emory and Juanita Martinez of Forney; 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

SILVER CITY, N.M. " Jessie Cecelia "Celia" Morrow, 93, of New Mexico, former longtime resident of Greenville and Hunt County, died Thursday in Fort Bayard, N.M. following an extended illness. Burial is in Memory Lane Cemetery in Silver City, N.M. on Wednesday.
She was the daughter of Jesse and Fanny Belle Daniel, born Nov. 12, 1907 in Bauxite, Ark. The family moved to the Etter Lake community of Battle Axe in Hunt County when she was young. She was married to Rev. Wentford H. Morrow on Dec. 7, 1924 in Greenville.
Mrs. Morrow is survived by a sister, Addie Waller of Broken Arrow, Okla.; three daughters, Naomi Morrow Grisbee of Fort Worth, Nona Morrow Eastman of Hemet, Calif. and Remona Morrow Leggett of Converse, La.; three sons, James Littleton Morrow of Grand Prairie, Olin Winston Morrow of Timberville, Va. and Willard Dalton Morrow of Santa Fe, N.M. and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers "Bud" and Frank Daniel, a sister, Fannie Mae Parker; a son, Wentford Morrow Jr. and a daughter, Iona Morrow Gardner.

Michael Young
Michael Young, 49, of Quinlan died Jan. 26. A memorial service is scheduled at a later date.
He was born May 17, 1951 in Memphis, Tenn. He had served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Young worked in the construction industry. He was a member of Prospect Church in Emory.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Pittsinger Young of Quinlan and a brother, Curtis Kelly of Waco.

Mrs. Berry was a member of First Baptist Church in Leonard and she was a housewife.
Surviving are a son, Robert Berry of Leonard; a daughter, Linda Leinart of Greenville; two sisters, Addie Lorance of Greenville and Bernice Hutchins of Leonard; two grandsons and one great-grandson.
