Clara Motley
EMORY - Clara F. Motley, 68, of Emory died Saturday at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Clifton Cemetery with Rev. Billy Smith officiating.
Mrs. Motley was born May 17, 1932, in Emory; the daughter of Thomas H. and Lydia Bishop Boydson. She was married to Billy Jim Motley on March 31, 1956 in Durant, Okla.
She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Surviving are son, Billy Motley of Quinlan; daughters, Elizabeth Neblett of Arlington and Helene Magarity of Mississippi; brothers, Ed Boydson of Portland, Ore. and James Boydson of Gordonville; sister, Idella Buie of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Houston Baker Sr.
Houston Baker Sr., 68, of Greenville died Saturday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Orange at Ninth and Elm Church of Christ. Burial is at Orange Forest Lawn Cemtery.
Born in Muenster on June 12, 1932, he was the son of Wesley A. Baker and Lorene Davidson Payne.
Mr. Baker had been a resident of Greenville for 20 years and was the owner of Plantasia, Inc. He was a charter member of the Greenville Daybreak Rotary Club and was past president of the club. He attended Johnson Street Church of Christ.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Betty June Baker of Greenville; one son, Houston Baker Jr. of Greenville; one daughter, Pamela Wheatley of Orange; one sister Ann Loftin of Greenville, a brother, Wayne Baker of Orange, two half-brothers, Gary Baker and Ray Baker, both of Wilson, Okla.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 5 to 7 pm Monday at the Claybar Funeral Home in Orange which is in charge of arrangements.

Leone Dorsett
BRUCETON, Tenn. - Leone Dorsett, 90, of Bruceton, Tenn. died Thursday at Baptist Hospital in Huntington, Tenn. Funeral servcies are at 2 p.m. today at Bruceton Funeral Home. Burial is in New Prospect Cemetery near Hollow Rock, Tenn.
Born Nov. 19,1910, she was the daughter of Harry Comley Roffey and Ella Eugenenia Goff Roffey. She married Raymond A. Dorsett Sr., who survives her.
Mrs. Dorsett was a retired school teacher. She taught in the Greenville public school system and also in El Paso. Her husband was also a teacher and a coach in Greenville in the 1940's. Mrs. Dorsett was a member of the Hollow Rock United Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband of Bruceton, Tenn.; one daughter, Ella May Wyatt of Bruceton; one son, Ray Dorsett Jr. of El Paso; four grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Oler Mae Drayton
Oler Mae Drayton, 78, of Greenville died Wednesday. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today at Carter Temple CME with Rev. Derrick Harris officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery. Cozine and Tarver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born Oct. 28, 1922 in Point, she was the daughter of John and Sedelia Kendrick. Mrs. Drayton was a member of the Carter Temple CME Church and Herion of Jerico.
She is survived by two daughters, Jo Ann Wright and Mary Thomas, both of Greenville; two sons Lorenzo Anderson of Garland, and Johnny Anderson of Greenville; a sister Pearline Ware of Dallas; 20 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son.
Visitation is 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bernice McKay
Bernice McKay, 91, of Greenville died Friday at her residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Coker Mathews Chapel with Chaplain John Connor officiating. Burial is at Forest Park cemetery .
Born April 4, 1909 in Brashear, she was the daughter of R.W. (Hay) Mooney and Rosa Lee McNeely Mooney.
Mrs. McKay was a graduate of Brashear High School and East Texas State University with Bachelors and Masters degrees. She taught in public schools for approximately 42 years, 15 years as a principal and 27 years as a classroom teacher. She retired from the Greenville Independent School District in 1975. She was a member of Kavanaugh United Methodist Church.
On November 23, 1944 she married Leo Somers in Dallas. He preceded her in death April 12, 1955. ON July 24, 1956, she married Gill D. McKay in Sulpher Springs. He preceded her in death April 12, 1960.
Mrs. McKay is survived by several nieces and nephews including Bruce Mooney of Bayton, OKla. and Khomattee Preston of Mesquite.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, five brothers and five sisters.
Visitation is 1-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Junior Noland
EMORY - Junior Ray Noland, 65, of Emory died Friday at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs. There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. today at Emory City Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Wallace officiating.
Son of Henry H. and Vivan Chastain Noland, he was born June 14, 1935 in Oklahoma. On March 28, 1953 he married Oleta Marshall in Oklahoma. Mr. Noland was a contractor. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Emory; a son, Virgil A. Noland of Delaware; three daughters, Ivy Spence of Greenville, Darlene Noland of Emory and Penny Hall of Delaware; one brother, Herbert Noland of Quinlan; two sisters, Lenora Harris of Quinlan and Mary Wallace of Irving; mother-in-law Mary Marshall of Emory; 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
A son, Jerry Noland, preceded him in death in 1990.
James Lytle will serve as honorary pallbearer.

George Wolf
DEPORT - George Galey Wolf, 65, of Deport died Friday at Christus St. Joseph Hospital. Graveside services are today at Milton Cemetery with Rev. Glynn Renfro officiating.
Born Dec. 14, 1934 in Farmersville, he was the son of Delbert Cleveland Wolf and Geneva Beatrice Crump Wolf. On August 9, 1957 he married Nell Roberts.
Mr. Wolf was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Welch Gas Company.
He is survived by his wife, of Deport; two daughters Cindy Filkins and Lyn Wolf, both of Deport; one son, David Wolf, of Deport;one sister Bobbie Joyce Chambliss of Quinlan; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Wood Funeral Home in Deport is in charge of arrangements.

Velma Singleton
Velma A. Singleton, 92, of Greenville died Friday at Presbyterian
Hospital. A graveside service at Forest Park will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Bill Shaddox officiating. Coker-Mathews funeral home is charge of
arrangements.
Mrs. Singleton was born December 4, 1907 in Waco. She married Chester Sanders in Greenville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Kinser United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Singleton is survived by two daughers, Margaret Chambliss of Quinlan and Jeannie Blaylock of Dallas; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, L.E. Sanders and Curtis Sanders.
Visitation is 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Kathy Staten
WILLS POINT - Kathy Morris Staten, 36, of Wills Point died Thursday in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Lakeview Church in Wills Point with Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Burial is at Union Grove cemetery in Wills Point.
Born Nov. 18. 1964 in Dallas, she was the daughter of James Pruett and Vivian McGee Pruett. She married Jeff Hancock, and later married Johnny Morris.
She was a child nutritionist at the Rockwall School, and was past president of the Quinlan Parent Teachers Organization. She was a member of the Rolling Oaks Volunteer Fire Department and was associated with the Lakeview Church.
Survivors include her companion Wayne Staten; four sons, Michael Pruett, Gary Pruett, Billy Hancock, and Brett Morris, all of Wills Point; two step-children, Randy and Brandi Staten of Quinlan; her mother and step-father, Vivian and Ronald Nichols of Quinlan; one brother Roland Boyd of Denton; and one sister, Billie Morris of Quinlan.
Allan Fuller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Curtis Cadle
COMMERCE - Curtis Eugene Cadle, 63, of Commerce died Thursday. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born July 28, 1937 in Hephzibah, Ga., he was the son of Otis Lee Cadle and Dolly Arleen Newman Cadle. Mr. Cadle was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed electrician.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Mills Cadle of Commerce; sons Calvin E. Cadle and William Bennett Cadle, both of Florida and Billy Ray Cadle of Commerce; daughters Patricia Cadle-Wettingfeld and Kathleen Cadle, both of Florida and Sara Elizabeth Cadle of Commerce and seven grandchildren.
Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
