QUINLAN " Dorothy "Memaw" Sills, 73, of Quinlan died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Park.
Born in Duck Town, N.C. on May 24, 1928, she was the daughter of Jack and Bonnie Payne. She and Raymond Harold Sills were married in Dallas. Mrs. Sills was a housewife and was a member of the Christian Church.
She is survived by three sons, Larry Hale, Kenneth Sills and Tim Sills; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Gloria Standfield
Gloria Standfield has died. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kaiser Street Baptist Church in Garland with Rev. Paul Mack officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery in Greenville.
She was born June 9, 1944 in Jefferson. On Oct. 8, 1960 she was married to Billy Ray Standfield in Josephine.
Survivors include her husband of Garland; her father, Willie Hubbard Jefferson of Garland; five sons, Stephoney of Garland, Eric of Greenville, Issac, Darrell, and Gerald Standfield, all of Garland; three daughters, Wanda Standfield, Billie Renee Standfield and Ericka Renee Standfield of Garland; four brothers, Roland Jefferson, A.J. Jefferson, Charles Jefferson and Carl Jefferson, all of Dallas; four sisters, Sonya Smith of Garland, Merlene Harris, Brenda Hardaway and Lisa Jefferson, all of Dallas; a number of grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, a sister and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be A.J. Jefferson, Roland Jefferson, Carl Jefferson, Eric Standfield, Stephoney Standfield and Issac Standfield.

Frances Bowen
LEONARD " Funeral services for Mrs. Frances L. Bowen, 81, of Leonard will be at 10 a.m., Friday, in Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim McIntire and Rev. Brian Edmonds officiating.
Burial will be in Leonard Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowen died Tuesday in Medical City Hospital in Dallas.
She was born June 24, 1919, in McKinney to W. Jennings Horn and Lena Maxwell Shields Horn. She married Thomas W. Bowen April 14, 1949, in Whitewright. She was a Methodist and a sales clerk.
Survivors include her husband, of Leonard; daughters, Barbara Edmonds and Sharon Vaughn, both of Leonard; son, T.W. Bowen of Whitewright; sisters, Ruby Kiraly of Mesquite, Dorothy Russell and Patsy Minter, both of McKinney, and Billie Wilson of Mantica, Calif.; brothers, R.L. Horn of Dallas and George Horn of Melissa; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Steve Henderson
LEONARD " Steve Henderson, 50, of Leonard, died at his residence Wednesday.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Taylor Funeral Home. No service is planned.
Mr. Henderson was born March 27, 1951, in Bonham to George Henderson and Ruby Stevens Henderson. He married Vicki Childers on May 5, 1984. He was a Vietnam veteran, a member of First Baptist Church in Leonard and a retired employee of the City of Leonard.
Survivors include his wife, of Leonard; his mother, of Leonard; sons Tim Jackson of Leonard and Steven Eric Henderson of Weatherford; brothers Butch Henderson and Leon Henderson, both of Leonard, and two grandchildren.
Varna Patton
RANDOLPH " Graveside services for Varna Allen Patton, 86, a resident of Individual Care of Texas in Quinlan, will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, in Lindsey Cemetery, with Rev. Kevin Mitchel officiating.
Mr. Patton died Wednesday in Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
He was born in Randolph on Feb. 16, 1915, to Levi and Susie McElroy Patton. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include a niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Arvad Bourquin of Dallas; several cousins.
Horice Cunnyngham
BLUE RIDGE " Horice Ivyl Cunnyngham, 83, of Blue Ridge died Monday in Dallas. Funeral services will be at Blue Ridge Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Johnnie Jones and Rev. Ray Rust officiating. Burial will be in Pike Cemetery in Pike.
Born Dec. 1, 1917 in Leonard, he was the son of Elbert Alton and Selma Carlton Cunnyngham. He and his wife Anna were married Aug. 18, 1945 in Leonard. Mr. Cunnyngham served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was an ASCS surveyor. He was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Blue Ridge; two daughters, Penny Eubanks of Kaufman and Nancy Terpening of Artesia, N.M.; two sons, Allen Cunnyngham of Blue Ridge and Hal Cunnyngham of Taipei, Taiwan; a sister, Ara Walker of Blue Ridge; brother Kenneth Cunnyngham of Blue Ridge; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home of Blue Ridge.
Ollie Ely
ARCHER CITY " Ollie Lee Ely, 80, of Point died Saturday at the Green Acres Nursing Home in Emory. There was a memorial service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Clifton Cemetery in Rains County with Rev. Jimmy Shedd, pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Emory, officiating.
Mr. Ely was born Jan. 19, 1921 in the County Line Community in Rains County where he was a lifelong resident. He and his wife Tootsie were married on Jan. 16, 1945 in Greenville. Mr. Ely was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He had worked as a bulldozer operator most of his life and worked for Allen Sanders, Hopkins County and Ivan Alexander before his retirement in 1985. He was a member of County Line Baptist Church.
Surviving are his daughter Vicky Ely Lamb of Point; a son, Thomas Lee Ely of Belize, Central America; three brothers, Tommy "Jewel" Ely of Greenville, Charles "Jot" Ely of Rowlett and Jody Ely of Point; a sister, Helen Collins of Winnsboro; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife on April 8, 1998 and a son, Jamie Lynn Ely on Feb. 23, 1992.

Edward Lynch
ROYSE CITY " Edward F. Lynch, 74, of Royse City, died Monday. There will be a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Rockwall at 10 a.m. Thursday. Rev. William Richard will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett.
He was born March 14, 1927 in Buffalo, N.Y. to Paul and Anna Gerlock Lynch and married Geraldine Catherine McCarthy in Buffalo, N.Y. on Jan. 19, 1957. Mr. Lynch worked for C.J. Tower & Sons as an import analyst in the customers brokerage industry until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of the Holy Name Men's Society/St. James Parish and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Rockwall.
Mr. Lynch is survived by his wife of Royse City; a son, Edward F. Lynch Jr. of Silvercreek, N.Y.; daughters Maryann Miller and Margaret VerHagen of Royse City; sister Dorothy Sciarrino of West Seneca, N.Y. and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe and a sister, Mary.

Virgie Smith
FARMERSVILLE " Mrs. Virgie Olene Smith, 96, of Josephine died Tuesday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Josephine with Dr. Steve Hudson and Rev. Brant O'Conner officiating. Burial will be in Caddo Mills Cemetery.
She was born July 23, 1904 in Farmersville to Robert and Adelia Morris Rickman. She was married to Van Nicholson Smith on Sep. 4, 1926 in Nevada. She attended school at Neathery and Josephine. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and she was a member of Nevada Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters Doris Jean Moore of Grand Saline, Rheda Davis of Greenville and Linda Jane Hess of Josephine; two sisters, Monette Bentley and Joyce Sebastian, both of Josephine; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Thomas Young
QUINLAN " Thomas Young, 29, of Quinlan died June 6 in Dallas. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Wieland Cemetery.
Son of Tommy and Margie Louis King Young, he was born in
Wylie. He was a tatoo artist. Mr. Young was a Baptist.
Surviving are his parents; a sister, Tonnyia Branch of Garland; a brother, Chad Young of Quinlan and grandparents Clyde and Louise King of Henrietta.
Pallbearers were Randall King II, Fly McRee, Sean Ingram, Danny Stewart, Leslie Cole and Garod Richardson.
Faye Benefiel
WOLFE CITY " Faye Ray Benefiel, 66, of Wolfe City died suddenly at home Saturday. Burial will be in San Hill Cemetery in Benton, Ken. No services are planned at this time.
Daughter of Terry Cecil and Sylvia Louise Watkins Ray, she was born Aug. 19, 1934 in Graves County, Ken. She was a caregiver with Home Health. She was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church in Benton, Ken.
Surviving are a daughter, Sarah Green of Mayfield, Ken.; one son, Tony Benefiel of Benton, Ken.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ollie Key
EMORY " Mrs. Ollie V. Key, 92, of Emory died Sunday at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Diller officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Rest No. 1 Cemetery.
Born Sep. 21, 1908 in Coleman, Okla., she was the daughter of James Robbins and Martha Louise Cox. She was married to Joe C. Key on March 23, 1936 in Rockwall. Mrs. Key was a retired registered nurse. She was a Methodist.
Mrs. Key is survived by grandson Ronnie Key of Los Angeles, Calif.; granddaughter Alisia Parr of San Antonio and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Edell Key.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Robbins, Danny Robbins, Jerry Cass and Andy Anders.
Tony King
QUINLAN " Michael Anthony King of Wills Point died in Quinlan Saturday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Able Springs Cemetery.
Born March 16, 1983 in Hope Mills, N.C., he was the son of Jerry Wayne King and Margarita Castillo.
Survivors include his father; mother and stepfather Margarita and Pitney Bramball; two stepbrothers, David James "D.J." Baker and Pitney "P.J." Bramball II; a sister, Traci King; grandparents Fred Castillo, Ramona Miller, Jim and Shirley King and great-grandmother Josefa Travino.
His great-grandfather preceded him in death.

ROCKWALL " A.C. Streetman, 79, of Royse City died Sunday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel, with Lonnie Harris, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Son of John and Florence Burks Streetman, he was born Feb. 20, 1922 in Royse City. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Royse City.
Mr. Streetman is survived by his wife, Juanita Streetman of Royse City; daughters Linda Ussery of Royse City, Judy Streetman of Carthage and Donna Streetman of Royse City; sons Carey Streetman of Terrell and Joe Nelson of Caddo Mills; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Ricky and Larry.

Elden Beadles
COMMERCE " Elden Beadles, 78, of Commerce, formerly of Greenville, died Sunday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Chapel with Avon Chandler and David Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mr. Beadles was born July 30, 1922, in Peerless to Albert T. and Mattie Lou Merrell Beadles. He married Nora Dale on Feb. 9, 1957 in Greenville. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He was the former owner and operator of Beadles Barber Shop in Greenville and active in real estate investment. He was also former president of the Planning and Zoning Board of Greenville and a member of the Commerce Church of Christ and former member of Southside Church of Christ in Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and two sisters, Gladene Wilson and Faye Beadles.
He is survived by a brother, Lonnie Beadles of Sulphur Springs; six nieces, Virginia Allman of Plano, Betty Wilson of Commerce, Sue Johnson of South Sulphur, Malba Bogan of South Sulphur, June Phillips of South Sulphur and Holley Press of Greenville and four nephews, Dennis Wilson of Commerce, Lonnie A Beadles of South Sulphur, Ricky Beadles of South Sulphur and David Dale of Merit.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

She was born in Hunt County to Hubert and Arvenia Adair Pickle and was a retired employee of Texas Instruments. She was Methodist.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Cox of Garland; a son, Ricky Baker of Garland; two daughters, Sharon Faulkner of Rowlett and Rhonda Baker of Garland; a brother, James Leroy Pickle of Athens; a sister, Cynthia Halford of Axtell and seven grandchildren.

Mittie Roberts
Mittie T. Roberts, 94, of Greenville died Wednesday at Greenville Health and Rehabilitation. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kirk Jones and Rev. Leslie Mills officiating. Burial will be at Caddo Mills IOOF Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 15, 1906, in Hunt County to John T. and Nannie Holbrook Gulledge. She married Rev. Coral V. Roberts on Dec. 23, 1926, in Hunt County.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Venson Roberts of Tyler, David Roberts of Greenville and Billy Roberts of Greenville; three daughters, Prebalene Bell of Greenville, Elouise Roberts Lovelace of Dallas and Marge Dooley of Greenville; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, sister V. Ella Couch and brothers Henry, Albert and Manuel Gulledge.
Pallbearers will be Jack Lindensweig, T.S. Lamb, Newman Peters, Travis McGuire, Grady Jones and David Compton.
