He was born in Farmersville on Feb. 23, 1917 to William and Fannie Crawley Toombs. He was married to Velma Godwin Toombs. He was Baptist

FARMERSVILLE " Josie V. Box, 96, of Farmersville died Wednesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services will be at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Doyle Henderson and Rev. Miller McClure officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
She was born Sep. 14, 1904 in Blackland, daughter of Walter Clavin Buck and Settie Lougenia Canup Buck. She had been employed as a clerk at Dyer Drug Store. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Farmersville.
Surviving are daughter-in-law Wynona Phillips of Farmersville; a sister, Oma Buck of Farmersville; four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
Nancy Bray
COMMERCE " Nancy Ann Moreland Bray, 53, died Thursday. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas. There will be a private burial in Rosemound Cemetery, Commerce.
Daughter of Helen Wilson Moreland and O.K. Moreland, she was born Aug. 3, 1947 in El Paso. As a member of an Air Force family, she lived many places in the U.S. and Europe. She attended primary school in London (Ruislip), England; graduated from Commerce High School in 1965 and received three degrees (bachelor, master and doctorate) from what is now Texas A&M University at Commerce. She was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
A lifelong Presbyterian, she belonged to the Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. As a psychologist, she spent 20 years on the faculty at the University of Texas-Dallas (Special Education Department) and UT Southwestern Health Science Center (Pediatrics Department) and finished her career in her North Dallas private practice. She was twice honored as an outstanding college professor, winning the AMOCO award. She was active in many professional organizations and in community volunteer work.
Surviving are two daughters, Laura Elizabeth Bray and Ellen Michelle Bray.
She was preceded in death by Gary Bray and her parents.
Memorials may be made in her name to Hillcrest High School College Fund, 9924 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, Tx. 75230.

QUINLAN " Elbert E. "Dub" Holland, 77, of Terrell, died Thursday at the Veterans Hospital in Dallas. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Rev. Lonnie Erwin officiating.
Born Aug. 6, 1923 in Heath, he was the son of Buck and Rose Holland. Mr. Holland served in the U.S. Army. He was a plumber. He was a Baptist and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his wife, Sally Holland; two sons, Kenneth Holland and Robert Holland; daughter Martha Wilson; five grandchildren and nine grandchildren.

James Howell
CORSICANA " James "Kinnie" Howell, 94, of Corsicana died Thursday at Twilight Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with B.F. Risinger, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton-Beemon Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 15, 1906 in Farmersville to James Kindrick Howell Sr. and Connie Murchison Howell. He married Beatrice Ross June 25, 1927. Mr. Howell retired from Southern Pacific Railroad with 41 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Corsicana; sons Truman Howell of Corsicana, Raymond Howell of Waxahachie and James B. Howell of Corsicana; daughters Barbara Murphy of College Station, Betty Hicks of College Station, Mary Paul of Corsicana and Linda Wear of Lancaster; a sister, Flora Curfman of Corpus Christi; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Atkeisson.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Evelyn Hutcherson
WOLFE CITY " Evelyn Josie Hutcherson, 76, of Wolfe City died Wednesday at Medical City in Dallas. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Greenville with Bishop Philip Sanders officiating. Additional family services will be held in San Diego, Calif.
She was born March 25, 1925 in Painted Post, New York to Robert Walter Smith and Mable Amanda Weaver Smith. She married George William Anderson, II in 1945 in San Diego; he preceded her in death on May 30, 1997. She then married A.J. Hutcherson Sept. 12, 1997. Mrs. Hutcherson retired as a nurse at University of California at San Diego after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Greenville.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, George Anderson, III of San Diego and David Anderson of Vista, Calif.; two daughters, Marie Nieuwenhuis of Hortonville, Wisc., and Alice Hupertz of San Diego; three stepchildren, Sue Yarberry of San Diego, Donal Walker of Arlington, and Wayne Atha of Greenville; one brother, Henry Smith of Toole, Utah; four sisters, Thelma McDonald of San Diego, Alberta Frey of Shingletown, Calif., Pearl Rice of Chula Vista, Calif, and Nellie Clark of Apple Valley, Calif; 27 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Latter-Day Saints in Greenville.

FARMERSVILLE " Erma Virginia Evelene Massey Yonavich, 77, of Farmersville died Wednesday. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Farmersville with Rev. Tracy Odneal officiating. Burial will be in Boerne Cemetery in Boerne at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Daughter of Marvin Franklin and Lillie Myrtle Davis Massey, she was born March 31, 1924 in Fitzhugh, Ark. On Jan. 1, 1943 she was married to William John Yonavich in San Antonio. Mrs. Yonavich was a homemaker.
Survivors include daughters Joyce Carol Tatum of Beaumont, Linda Birdsong of Greenville and Jean Coleman and Donna Pitcher of Farmersville; a son, William Clarence Yonavich of Cash; sister Lorraine Bolding of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Owen Massey of San Antonio and Calvin Lee Massey of Cuero; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

DALLAS " Dianne Elizabeth Bennett of Dallas died of a heart attack at her home Saturday. Services are at 3:30 p.m. today at Restland Funeral Home Wildwood Chapel.
She was born Aug. 5, 1944 in Sulphur Springs. Mrs. Bennett retired from Texas Instruments with 33 years of service.
Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly Bennett and Shannon Freeman; former husband Larry Bennett, sister Linda Betterton and four grandchildren.
Bill George
William "Bill"George, 65, of Greenville died Tuesday morning at Medical City in Dallas. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Wieland Cemetery with Rev. Jim Gatlin and Chuck Dryden officiating.
Son of Lee A. George and Bernice Suiter George, he was born Sep. 3, 1935 in Waterloo, Iowa. He married Sandra "Sandy" Smith in 1985 in Greenville. Mr. George served in the Air Force for 30 years retiring in 1982. He was a chief master sergeant in the Air Force and he also retired from Raytheon, AIS Greenville after 13 years in February 1998. He was included in E-Systems' Tribute to Excellence-Top 100 in 1994. In the Air Force he received Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, AF Commendation Medal, AF Outstanding Unit Award with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Good Conduct Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster; Korean Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and AF Longevity Service Ribbon with six Oak Leaf Clusters.
Mr. George is survived by his wife of Greenville; father-in-law and mother-in-law L.J. and Dorothy Smith of Greenville; son and daughter-in-law Steven Lee and Shelley George of St. Louis, Mo.; stepson and wife Keith and Donna Reeves of Greenville; a stepdaughter and husband, Kim and John White of Dallas; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Lorraine George of Waterloo, Iowa; sister and brother-in-law, Esther and Louie Carpenter of Waterloo, Iowa; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Judy and Lynn Jay Smith of Greenville and one grandson, Travis William George and nieces and nephews.
His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Floden, Pat Bowman, Wayne McCallum, Jody Stanford, Lynn Jay Smith, Presley Sellers, Jeremy Smith and Chris Smith.

EMORY " Richard Jennings, 39, of Emory died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital in Greenville. There is a services at 1:30 p.m. today at Smyrna Cemetery with Dr. Paul Anderson.
Born Aug. 16, 1961 in Dallas, he was the son of Frederick and Maurice Crump Jennings. He married Angela Davis at the Emory Baptist Church on Oct. 15, 1988. He was a real estate salesman with Spencer Real Estate in Emory. Mr. Jennings was a member of Believers Baptist Church. He was president of the Regional Advisory Committee of the State Commission for the Blind.
He is survived by his wife of Emory; a son, Richard Jennings Jr. of Denton; daughter Elizabeth Jennings of Flower Mound; brothers Frederick "Rusty" Jennings of Forney, Douglas Jennings of Hutchins and Anthony "Tony" Jennings of New Mexico and one grandson, Samuel Ryan Jennings of Denton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Ann Jennings.

EMORY " J.J. McDonald, 81, of West Tawakoni died Monday at Veterans Hospital in Dallas. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Smyrna Cemetery with Rev. Billy Smith officiating.
Born in Brownwood on April 16, 1920, he was the son of Benjamin and Edna Josephine Brazil McDonald. He married Mabel Kathleen Kirk in London, England on Aug. 28, 1946. Mr. McDonald served in the U.S. Army Airborne Division and completed 123 jumps. He was an oil field supervisor. Mr. McDonald was a Baptist. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in West Tawakoni.
Survivors include a son, David John McDonald of East Tawakoni; a daughter, Janice Leuze of West Tawakoni; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
His wife preceded him in death on May 6, 1997.

Armenda Mitchell, 95, of Greenville died Monday morning at Briarcliff Health Center. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Center with Rev. Larry Allgood and Rev. Jack Roberts officiating. Burial was in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Daughter of Lee Abner Buck and Candora Moore Buck, she was born Feb. 17, 1906 in Liberty Hill. On Sep. 29, 1934 she was married to George W. Mitchell in Greenville. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Assembly of God.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by a son, George E. Mitchell of Dallas; daughters and sons-in-law Shirley and Gordon Thomas and Kay and Mickey Mixson, all of Greenville; grandchildren Rick Houston, Dennis Houston, Robin Bench, Dawn Patterson, Darla Castillo, Derame Mitchell, Devan Mitchell, Staci Wooten and Misti Orr and great-grandchildren Adam Houston, Ryan Houston, Braden Kohn, Brittany Kohn, Melissa Patterson, Jacob Patterson, Tyler Wooten, Trevor Wooten, Tristan Wooten and Amanda Bench.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, James Buck and sisters Gracie Morris, Ella Moore, Marie Scott and Murel Gill.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Rick Houston, Dennis Houston, Derame Mitchell, Devan Mitchell, Tim C. Wooten and great-grandsons Adam Houston, Ryan Houston and Braden Kohn.
Mona Noland
Mona E. Noland, 99, of Fort Worth died Wednesday morning at Western Hill Nursing Home in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Forest Park Cemetery with Rev. Vanessa Bostick officiating.
Daughter of Michael Ellard and Emma Bowie Ellard, she was born July 17, 1901 in Hubbard. She was married to Emery P. Noland in 1950 in San Antonio. She graduated from Greenville High School and Burleson College. Mrs. Noland was a former insurance agent with Southland Life Insurance Company. She was a former proofreader with the Greenville Banner and a manager of the Town House. She was the longest member of Central Christian Church, joining the church in 1909.
Mrs. Noland is survived by Dorothy Martin of Fort Worth, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her husband and one brother preceded her in death.
Honorary pallbearers will be Edwin Barlow, Dr. Burgess Sealy, Al Covaleski, Dr. James Moudy, Allen Stephenson, George Runnion, Ralph Runnion, Dayton Sheridan, Paul Mason and Dr. Charles Sanders.

He was born April 12, 2001 in Dallas to Jesus Rodriquez and Teresa Hernandez.
Surviving are his parents of McKinney; brothers Bryan Nicholas and Li'l Joe Acosta, both of McKinney and grandparents Steve and Marie Hernandez of McKinney and Ramon and Elva Rodriquez of Greenville.

DALLAS " Billy Jess "Choo Choo" Stinebaugh of Dallas died Saturday. Services are at 2 p.m. today at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel with Rev. T. Michael Dugan officiating.
He was born in Greenville on Nov. 13, 1928 to Archibald and Ethel Parker Stinebaugh. Mr. Stinebaugh retired from LTV as an aerospace machinist with 35 years of service. He was a member of the Oak Cliff Gem and Mineral Society and the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member and officer of U.A.W. and the local 848. Mr. Stinebaugh coached Little League.
Survivors include his wife Alice Stinebaugh; a son, Billy Jess Stinebaugh Jr. of Lewisville; stepson Matthew Thomas Jones of Plantation, Fla.; stepdaughter Patricia Alice Garcia of Corpus Christi; brothers Johnny Stinebaugh of Edmonds, Wash. and Archie Lewis Stinebaugh of Sherman; three grandchildren Alexandria Leigh Stinebaugh, Janel Emily Jones and Matthew Thomas Jones Jr.; three stepgrandchildren, Jennifer L. of Houston, Jorge L. and Pablo J. Garcia of Puerto Rico and three stepgreat-grandchildren, Viviana, Liam and Jorge Garcia, all of Puerto Rico.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Truett Stinebaugh.

Daughter of Robert Lee Kimzey and Linnie George Chapman Kimzey, she was born Feb. 21, 1906 in Farmersville. She was married to John Douglas "Si" Bickley on Sep. 11, 1925 in Farmersville. Mrs. Bickley was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of McKinney and of the DAR of McKinney.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Bland of Richardson and Rita Roose of Farmersville, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
