GARLAND " Lonnie Bernard Browning, 90, of Garland died March 30 at the Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Garland. Masonic graveside services will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
He was born April 22, 1911 in Martin Gap, Ken. to Rev. T.H. and Luyette Hall Browning. He was a retired estimator for Steakley Chevrolet where he worked for 18 years. He also worked as a security officer for Baylor Medical Center in Dallas for five years. Mr. Browning was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Garland, the Howard Taylor Sunday school class and the 55-plus Club at the church. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge 441 in Garland.
Mr. Browning is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mildred Browning of Garland; two daughters, Judy Murphy of Royse City and Sandra Shipley of Rockwall; two sisters, Maxine Bryson of Richardson and Libby McNatt of Greenville; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
One brother, Hall Browning, preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Pastors Fund or the Music Fund.

QUINLAN " Anthony France Stankiewicz, 36, of Quinlan died in Greenville Monday. There is a memorial service at 11 a.m. today at Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel.
Son of Frank Stankiewicz and Barbara Lewis, he was born Feb. 18, 1965 in Beaufort, N.C. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Stankiewicz of Quinlan; his parents; two daughters, Rachael Stankiewicz and Sarah Stankiewicz; a stepdaughter Kimmi Cullum; a brother, Frankie Stankiewicz and two sisters, Angela Stankiewicz and Resha Stankiewicz.
Mattie Stone
LADONIA " Mattie L. Stone, 83, of Ladonia died Friday in Dallas. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ladonia with Rev. Curtis Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
She was born in Ladonia to Edward and Ethel Bogar. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Ladonia.
Survivors include three brothers, Eddie Lee Bogar of Fort Worth, Tardis Bogar of California and Robert Wayne Bogar of Ladonia; sisters, Annie Mae Roseman, Jo Nell Shaw and Fayrene Cooper, all of Dallas, Hazel Sheppard of Taft, Okla., Louise Carter of Odessa and Merlie Franklin of Sulphur Springs and two stepsisters, Vernice Barnett of Ladonia and Dorothy Perry of Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and one stepsister.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.

MABANK " Marion Billie Clounts, 83, of Quinlan died Sunday. Graveside services are at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas at 1 p.m. today with Rev. Ron Flurry officiating.
He was born in Oak Grove on Oct. 29, 1917. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army and National Guard.
Surviving are a son, David Clounts of Quinlan; two daughters, Brenda King of Mesquite and Peggy Miles of Greenville; three brothers, Bobby Clontz of Denison, Carlos Clontz of Scurry and Paul Gene Clontz of Dallas; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Faye Clounts and two brothers, Wesley Clontz and Erman Clontz.
Pallbearers are David Clounts III, David Clounts Jr., Allen King, Rusty King and Steve Miles. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Clounts, Justin Cotton, Daniel Scoggins and Nathan Scoggins.

Brenda McKibben Farquhar of Commerce died at her residence Saturday. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today at Sand Flat Cemetery in Grand Saline with Rev. Reuben Trussell officiating.
Daughter of Felton and Agnes Simms McKibben, she was born in Dallas on March 5, 1950. She was a retail sales clerk.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Farquhar of Greenville; two daughters, Angie Easterwood of Midland and Monya Smith of Greenville and six grandchildren.

COMMERCE " Mamie Ray Jones, 79, of Commerce died Sunday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pemberton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brock Mitchell, Rev. James Hall and Rev. George McCants officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.
Born July 6, 1921 in Hunt County, she was the daughter of Sam Jones and Evia Cooper Jones. On Oct. 11, 1936 she was married to E.A. "Bud" Jones in Commerce. A lifelong resident of Commerce, she was a seamstress for the Leighton Dress Manufacturing Company. She was an active member of Abundant Life Assembly Church where she was a songleader and Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Buddy and Sarah Jones of Commerce and Troy and Jackie Jones of Cooper; daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Edwin Phelps of Commerce; a brother, Raymond Cooper of Sulphur Springs; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 1, 1980; a son, Terry Jones; two sisters and four brothers.
Pallbearers will be Forrest Jones, Bradley Phelps, Joel Phelps, Daniel Jones, Danny Scruton and Arnold Parker. Jason Jones, Jeffery Jones and Sheely Taylor will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Born April 29, 2001 in Dallas, she is survived by his grandparents, Bobby and Mary Davis of Greenville; his mother; three brothers, Travalus, Tavarous and Travonta Matthews all of Greenville and one sister, Tuqueesha Matthews of Greenville.
Lucylle Mantooth
FARMERSVILLE " Lucylle Mantooth, 85, of Princeton died Saturday in Van Alstyne. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Altoga Cemetery in Altoga with Dr. Deron Biles and David Wheeler officiating.
She was born Oct. 15, 1915 in Princeton to G.C. Murphy and Gladys Callahan Murphy. On Nov. 8, 1936 she was married to Ross Mantooth in McKinney. Mrs. Mantooth was a homemaker. A lifelong resident of Princeton, she had been a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton for more than 70 years.
Mrs. Mantooth is survived by her husband of Princeton; a daughter, Barbara Bell of Van Alstyne; sister Mabel Cave of McKinney; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Born in Terrell on Aug. 28, 1961, she was the daughter of Marvin and June Singleton. She was married to David White Sep. 7, 2000 in Quinlan. Mrs. White was a saddle maker and tooler
Surviving are her husband of Quinlan; her mother of Quinlan; two sons, G.W. Sasser and Chris Singleton, both of Quinlan; stepchildren Rusty White, Elishia White and Nikki White, all of Quinlan; a brother, Greg Singleton of Quinlan and grandparents Hazel Bumpass of Wills Point and Jack Reed of Quinlan.

Marcus L. McMahan, 83, of Caddo Mills, formerly of Quinlan, died Tuesday evening at Greencrest Manor. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Quinlan.
Son of James Howard McMahan and Linnie Clevenger, he was born Aug. 3, 1917 in Newport, Tenn. On Aug. 6, 1938 he married Margaret Louise Frazier in Hunt County. He worked as an assembler at Ford Motor Company. Mr. McMahan was a Baptist.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Howard and Vicki McMahan of Houston, son-in-law Dale Norris of Cash; daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Boyd Evans of Cash, Vera Jean and Jack Harwell and Gayle and Jerry Allison, all of Caddo Mills; sister-in-law Bonnie McMahan Payne; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Jan. 30, 1983; two daughters, Virginia Norris and Rachael McMahan; brothers Malcom, Michael, Marvin and McAdoo McMahan and a sister, Maud McMahan.

Born Jan. 17, 1947 in Lufkin, he was the son of Robert J. Milton Sr. and Corine Gaston Milton. He married Gay McQueary Milton on June 2, 1972 in Farmersville. He was a technician for Coca Cola. Mr. Milton was a member of First United Methodist Church of Farmersville.
He is survived by his wife of Farmersville; two daughters, Nancy Lynn Gann of Whitesboro and Mindy Gay Milton of Farmersville; a son, Robert James Milton III of Farmersville; sister Ann Curington of Farmersville and two grandchildren.
Lois Spencer
Lois Atkins Spencer, 81, of Greenville died Thursday morning at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Riley Hamilton officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. at Moores Chapel Cemetery in Fannin County.
Daughter of Jesse Lee Atkins and Margaret Rebecca Sellers Atkins, she was born Dec. 13, 1919 in Bonham. She graduated from Bonham High School. On April 2, 1944 she was married to John Paul Spencer. Mrs. Spencer was a former assistant county superintendent for Fannin County Schools. She retired in 1986 from Texas Department of Human Services. She was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Russell Spivy of Greenville; a brother and sister-in-law, John Robert and Geneva Atkins of Mount Pleasant; grandsons Matthew Spencer Spivy and Clay Austin Spivy, both of Greenville and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; a brother Gilson Lee Atkins and a sister Pearl Arie.

COMMERCE " Lewis Dixon Williams, 63, of Cumby died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Cemetery in the Ridgeway Community with Van Simpson officiating.
He was born May 21, 1937 in Frankston to Richard L. Williams and Lela Pearl McCoy Williams. He married Joy Ann Neighbors on Jan. 25, 1957 in Dallas. Mr. Williams was an assembly worker for U.S. Brass.
Survivors include his wife of Cumby; a son, Lance Dewayne Williams of Irving; daughters Katherine Gail Howard of Irving, Celinda Lee Lopez of Fort Worth and Stacey Renee Bell of Fort Worth; two sisters; five brothers; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was born Oct. 18, 1908 in Tuscola to Robert Levi and Sarah Elizabeth Snow Hamilton. She was married to Andrew Baley in Whitewright County on Jan. 1, 1933 and they lived in Union Valley from 1933 to 1953 before moving to Royse City. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Royse City. Mrs. Baley was president of WMU and was a Sunday school teacher for juniors.
Surviving are daughter Helen Carr of Cedar Hill; four sons, Dan Baley of Royse City, Teddy Baley of Nevada, Ernest Baley of Cedar Hill and Jerrell Baley of Royse City; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973, four brothers and two sisters.

Son of Issac and Mattie Burmley Howard, he was born Jan. 3, 1922 in Lamar County. He married Judith Marie Howard on Nov. 22, 1974 in Garland. Mr. Howard was the owner of a service station. He was a member of Nobility Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Blue Ridge; a daughter, Joyce West of Garland; stepdaughter Cathy Crane of Blue Ridge; stepsons Dale Bagby of Celeste, Larry Bagby of Nevada and Steve Bagby of Mesquite; brother Jarvis Howard of Paris; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Born August 6, 1928 in Greenville, he was the son of Lawrence and Hassie Matthews. Mr. Matthews was a Baptist.
