Charles Greer
Charles Robert Greer, 71, of Greenville died Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Vansickle Baptist Church with Tommy Weems officiating.
Son of Claude and Lillie Wright Greer, he was born May 29, 1929 in Greenville. Mr. Greer retired from the utility division of the City of Greenville. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Greer is survived by his wife, Jeneva Booker Greer; a daughter, Leah Greer Warren; brother Claude Greer Jr. and one granddaughter, Emily Warren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Virgie Glasscock, Sadie Vansickle and Dorothy Greer.
Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Lynch Alternative Funeral Service Inc.

W.H. LeRosen
W.H. LeRosen, 94, of Greenville died Tuesday morning at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kirk Jones, Rev. Royce Litchfield and Rev. Louise Banner Welch officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Born in Lafayette, La. on April 23, 1906, he was the son of Wesley A. LeRosen and Susie M. Hopkins. He married Mable McMahan on Sep. 14, 1927 in Greenville. He owned and operated LeRosen Wholesale Candy Company. Mr. LeRosen was a member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, William "Bill" LeRosen of Greenville; a daughter, Jane Schneider of Houston; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1995; a brother, Henry LeRosen and two sisters, Sue LeRosen and Aileen Stephens.
Pallbearers will be Steve Reeves, Tommy McMann, Randy Tarpley, Dixon LeRosen, Dale Barker and Jimmy Conner.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Otto Storck Jr.
FARMERSVILLE " Otto Carl Storck Jr., 83, of Farmersville died Tuesday. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel with John Connor, chaplain, officiating.
Born in New York City, N.Y. on Sep. 5, 1917, he was the son of Otto Carl Storck, Sr. and Emma Huffmeyer Storck. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Storck was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by sons Carl Storck of Farmersville, Edward A. Storck of Farmersville and Douglas R. Storck of New Jersey; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to V.N.A. of Texas, 2414 University Drive, McKinney, Tx.

Stephanie Taylor
ROCKWALL " Stephanie Reneé Taylor, 15, of Wills Point died Monday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel with Rev. Morris Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Daughter of Gary Wayne and Monica Lynn Taylor, she was born March 29, 1986. She was a freshman at Ford High School in Quinlan.
Surviving are her parents of Wills Point; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Taylor of Quinlan, Wanda Stuart of Dallas and Paul Gibson of Mineola and a brother, Steven Wayne Taylor of Wills Point.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Doris Thomas
FORT WORTH " Doris E. Thomas, 83, died Wednesday at a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery Chapel in Wolfe City. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
She was a teacher for more than 40 years, retiring from the Fort Worth Independent School District with 27 years of service. She taught special education and homebound school. Mrs. Thomas was a 45-year member of Handley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Barrett W. Thomas Jr. of Fort Worth; a daughter, Debra Kinser of Southlake; brother Wayne McWhirter of Wolfe City; sister Frances Malish of Cleburne and two grandchildren.
Her husband, Barrett W. Thomas, preceded her in death.
Visitation is from noon until 8 p.m. today at Lucas Funeral Home.

Paul Harrell Sr.
LEONARD " Graveside services for Paul Thomas Sr., 64, of Celeste, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Celeste Cemetery with A.C. Quinn and Charles Wrenn officiating. He died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy Harrell of Celeste; a daughter, Charlotte Kinser of Bells; son Paul Thomas Harrell Jr. of Haleyville, Ala.; three sisters, Betty Nix of Celeste, Dorothy Miller of Plano and Shirley Lipsey of Garland and six grandchildren.
Visitation is from 8 to 9:30 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home in Leonard. A procession to the graveside services will leave Celeste Church of Christ at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Wilbert Page
GRAND PRAIRIE " Wilbert Page, 74, of West Tawakoni area, Quinlan, died Monday following surgery complications in Dallas County. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City.
He was born Nov. 14, 1926 in Wolfe City. Mr. Page served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a V.F.W. Post Commander in the West Tawakoni area.
Survivors include daughters Judy Pardun of Mesquite and Janet Drummond of Athens; a son, Larry Page of Southlake; five grandsons; brothers Ula Ray Page of Paris, Vaughn Page of Wolfe City and Floyd Landon Page of Bailey and twin sisters Ima Dean Davenport of Clifton and Betty Jean Long of Grand Prairie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Dessie Page; twin brother, Gilbert; sisters Rose Anne, Della Mae and Nellie and brothers Norris, Lon and Cecil.

Bettie McClendon-Abney
EMORY " Bettie McClendon-Abney, 90, of The Woodlands, died Saturday in Houston North-West Hospital. Services are at 2 p.m. today at Dunbar Church with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dunbar Cemetery.
Born Sep. 11, 1910 in Angelina County, she was the daughter of William Harvey and Lillie Leota Hurst McClendon. She married Bruce Abney at Dunbar on Sep. 11, 1926.
Survivors include two sisters, Myrtle Milliorn and Bonnie Crouch, both of Dallas; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992 and a son, Joe B. Abney Sr. in 1997.
Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory is in charge of arrangements.

Emily Butts
ARLINGTON " Emily Faye Butts, 95, of Arlington, died Sunday. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today in the Masonic Home in Arlington. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Whitesboro.
Mrs. Butts was active in Band Booster Club, PTA (local and state), was a member and past president of Sorosis Woman's Club, WMU, and was a Sunday school Bible teacher in Olney, Port Aransas and Arlington. She was also a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, past Matron Olney Chapter, past matron of the Aransas Pass Chapter and a member of the Arlington Chapter 249.
Mrs. Butts is survived by daughters Mary Hawley of Greenville, Dorothy Roberts of Aransas Pass and Glenda Perkins of Weatherford; a son, Chester Butts of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, O.W. Harbison of Lexington and Alton Harbison of Lake Whitney; five granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Butts in 1984 and a son by marriage, Jimmy A. Vaughn in 1983.
Arlington Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jewell Courtney
LEONARD " Funeral services for Jewell Mae Courtney, 97, of Leonard, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Lyon and Charles Wrenn officiating. Burial will be in Leonard Cemetery.
Surviving are three nephews and several great-nephews and nieces.
Visitation is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Faye Creamer
SULPHUR SPRINGS " Faye Rea Creamer, 93, of Greenville died Sunday at Sulphur Springs Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating.
She was born Jan. 14, 1908 to Goodlet and Lola Derrick. She retired from J.C. Penney Company with 22 years of service. She was a member of North Baptist Church and Eastern Star, both of Greenville.
Survivors include a son, Charles Rea of Sulphur Springs; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
West Oaks Funeral Home of Sulphur Springs is in charge of arrangements.

Lauren Cude
CADDO MILLS " Lauren "L.R." Cude, 77, of Caddo Mills died Sunday in Rowlett. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today at Rentfrow Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Strand, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Son of Allen Cude and Elsie Carter Cude, he was born Dec. 19, 1923 in Pearsall. He married Iva Nell Sanders on Feb. 28. 1975. Mr. Cude served in the U.S. Marines during World War II. He was an engineer with the Texas Highway Department.
Mr. Cude is survived by his wife of Caddo Mills; two daughters, Sharon Tobin and Rebecca Buchanan, both of Caddo Mills; a sister, Peggy Ellen Weiss of Houston and grandchildren, Heather Buchanan, Holly Simmons, Hillary Rosa and Matthew and Mark Cude.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Steve and Richard Cude and a daughter, Sarah Rosa.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Ferrell, David Weiss, David Buchanan, John Tobin, Steve Fuller and Joe Simmons.

Clyde Ferguson
SULPHUR SPRINGS " Funeral services for Clyde C. Ferguson, 100, of Miller Grove are at 2 p.m. today at the Miller Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Benny Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Miller Grove Cemetery. He died Saturday at his residence.
Son of William Meek and Lou Bone Ferguson, he was born Jan. 14, 1901 in Miller Grove. On July 13, 1929 he married Lera Maude Darrow in Hugo, Okla. Mr. Ferguson was a farmer and cattle rancher and had served as a trustee on the Miller Grove School Board. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by two sons, Robert O. Ferguson of Arlington and Johnny Ferguson of Miller Grove; four daughters, Vallie McElvy of Cumby, Mary Lou Akins of Miller Grove, Ruby Dean Long of Fort Worth and Bonnie Callan of Mesquite; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mallie and Bonnie Ferguson and Annie Garrett.
Memorials may be made to the Miller Grove Fire Department.

Charles Minchey
LEONARD " Funeral services for Charles Hughie Minchey, 96-year-old Leonard resident, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. Rev. Larry Talent, Mike Swain, Virgil Cornwell and Wayne Hutchins will officiate. Burial will be in Leonard Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Esther Minchey of Leonard; his sons, Charles Minchey of Gordonville, James Minchey of Van Alstyne and Royce Ray Minchey of Leonard; daughters Francis Estes of Abilene, Lois Sims of Whitewright and Sue Richerson of Allen; 27 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.

Edward C. Trinneer
Edward C. Trinneer, 60, of Greenville died Thursday at his residence. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Sheffield officiating.
Born Oct. 26, 1940 in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Edward C. Trinneer and Marie Petrie Trinneer. He married Diane Hoover in Booton, N.J. in 1981. Mr. Trinneer served in the U.S. Marines during the Cuban crisis. He was a member of the American Legion and was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Wesley Enterprises.
Mr. Trinneer is survived by his wife of Greenville; a son, Timothy Trinneer of Greenville; his mother of Hackestown, N.J.; stepdaughter Diana Lee of Blue Ridge; brothers Robert Lewis Trinneer of Phillipsburg, N.J. and Ronald Thomas Trinneer of Hackestown, N.J. and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Edward C. Trinneer III and a daughter, Kathleen M. Trinneer.

Samuel Montgomery, Jr
WHITEWRIGHT " Samuel Thurston Montgomery, Jr, 87, of Whitewright died Saturday in a Savoy nursing home. Services are at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Whitewright with Rev. Van Lazaroff officiating. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright.
Mr. Montgomery was born on December 9, 1913, in Whitewright. He married Claudine Lancaster on July 5, 1941, in Greenville.
He was a retired teacher, coach, principal and superintendent and a member of First Baptist Church, Whitewright. He also served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.
Surviving are his wife; sons Samuel Thurston Montgomery III of Dallas and Bill Montgomery of Whitewright; a daughter, Sandra Hennig of Houston; a sister, Macie Atkinson of Lyons, New York; eight grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 7-8 p.m. today at Earnheart Funeral Home in Whitewright.

Wayne Livingston
MABANK " Wayne C. Livingston, 75, of Greenville, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, died Friday at his home.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank with the Rev. Kenneth Hensley officiating. Arrangements by Peters Funeral HOme.
He was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Henderson County to Roscoe and Ida Leah Yates Livingston. He owned a restaurant business for many years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his brothers, James Livingston of Greenville and Paul Livingston of Cleburne and sisters, Yvonne Jensen of Athens, Texas, and Alta Rocha of Kemp.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise Livingston; brothers, Johnny Livingston and Woodrow Livingston; and sisters, Ruby Mixon and Molly Roberson.

Richard Minchey
LEONARD " Richard Wayne Minchey, 89, of Leonard died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elmer Miller officiating. Burial will be at Leonard Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Louise M. Minchey of Leonard; son, Morris Minchey of Plano; brother, C.H. Minchey of Leonard; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
