Lavelle Daniel
COMMERCE " Lavelle Daniel, 85, of Ladonia died Saturday in Commerce. Services are at 2 p.m. today at Pemberton Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Mabe officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.
Mrs. Daniel was born in the Muddig Community on March 18, 1916 to Clifford and Hattie Fife Threlkeld. She married Malcolm M. Daniel on Sept. 16, 1934 in Durant, Okla. She was a lifelong resident of Ladonia, a homemaker and a member of the First Methodist Church of Ladonia.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Dale Rex of Ladonia; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Margee Daniel of Mesquite; brother and sister-in-law, L.C. and Edwina Threlkeld of Commerce; sisters Veta Harris and Geneva Arnett of Dallas and Jean Halden of Springdale, Ark.; sisters-in-law Louise Threlkeld and Mary Threlkeld of Commerce; a grandson and wife, Rickey and Liz Rex of Ladonia; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Anderson, Gary Anderson, Jerry Davies, Rickey Rex, Brad Rex and Christopher Rex.

Coeta Hicks
FARMERSVILLE " Coeta Hope HIcks, 70, of Farmersville, died Sunday at Hinton Nursing Home. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel.
Born May 2, 1930 in Stroud, Okla., she was the daughter of Dick Ellis and Flora Ellis. She married Lawrence James Hicks. Mrs. Hicks had worked as a key punch operator. She was a Christian Scientist.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by two daughters, Margaret Young of McKinney and Lenora Smith of Sand Springs, Okla.; a son, Dickie Hicks of Tulsa, Okla.; sister Oneta Freeman of Oklahoma City, Okla.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mary Klein
COMMERCE " Mary Lou Lakey Klein, 57, of Quinlan, formerly of Commerce, died Sunday in Dallas. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pemberton Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Harold Pannell officiating. Burial will be in Lake Tawakoni.
She was born Nov. 13, 1943 in Dodd City to W.E. Lakey and Margie Hindsley Lakey. On July 20, 1961 she was married to Jerry C. Klein in Fort Worth. She attended Honey Grove and L.D. Bell High School.
She was a former employee of American Wood in Commerce and Wings and E-Systems in Greenville. Mrs. Klein was a member of the American Legion and the American Veterans Association. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband of Quinlan; daughters Tammy Matlock and Vie Bozeman of Commerce and Kelly Marcos of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Bud Lakey of California and Leldon Lakey of Greenville; three sisters, Ruby Price of Greenville, Predna Coulley of Cooper and Patsy Jo Avery of Lamasco and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Klein was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry C. "Cris" Klein in 1984 and one brother, Magness Lakey.

Samuel Love
Samuel Love, 69, of Garland died Saturday in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Neylandville with Rev. George Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Grundy Memorial Park.
He was born Nov. 8, 1931 in Red River County, son of Sam and Ruby Love. Mr. Love was a laborer. He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Red River County.
Surviving are four brothers, Marvin Love of Coolidge, Leon Love of Lubbock and Louis Love and Virgil Love of Garland and five sisters, Ida Wilson of Greenville and Bertha Brown, Jean Justice, Ruby Esco and Betty Love, all of Dallas.
Visitation is from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.

Helen Pickle
GAINESVILLE " Helen Ferguson Pickle, 71, of Gainesville died Saturday at Gainesville Memorial Hospital. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. today at Callisburg Cemetery with Dr. Lawrence Burke officiating.
Daughter of Ambus and Edna Allen Ferguson, she was born June 17, 1929 in Valley Creek. On July 24, 1947 she was married to J.M. Pickle in Dallas. Mrs. Pickle was a homemaker and was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Callisburg; a son, Jim Pickle of Callisburg; a daughter, Terrie Pickle of Callisburg; brother A.B. Ferguson of Leonard; two sisters, Bonnie Ciganenko of Daltona, Fla. and Erna Lea Ferguson of Leonard; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A son, Tim Pickle, preceded her in death in 1995.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society Cooke Unit, P.O. Box 1217, Gainesville, 76241-1217 or Cooke County Home Hospice, P.O. Box 936, Gainesville, Tx. 76240.
Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville is in charge of arrangements.

Cleo Ezell Brown
Cleo Ezell Brown, 88, of Greenville died Sunday morning at Greencrest Manor. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Chapel with Dr. David Stubblefield officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
She was born in Mt. Vernon on July 3, 1912, to Grover and Vera Grau Ezell. She married Ples S. Brown on June 1, 1932, in Texarkana. She was employed with Howards Jewelers in sales. Mrs. Brown was a life member of PTA, a Rebeccan and member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Karla Brown of Greenville; a sister, Lois Sparks of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren Corey Brown of Euless, Jay Nation of Mesquite and Leigh Ann Thomas of Oakland, Neb.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Gloria Brown Nation on Nov. 4, 1977.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family asks memorials be made to the Building Fund of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Irene Sherrill
WOLFE CITY " Irene Sherill, 82, of Mesquite, died Friday in a Mesquite hospital following a long illness. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Michael Warwick officiating.
Mrs. Sherrill was born in Marlin on June 30, 1918, to Jacob Casey and Susie Gameson. She married Charles Guy Sherrill on Aug. 15, 1941, in Rockwall. She was a retired beautician. and a member of Casa View Assembly of God Church in Dallas.
Surviving are three sons, Billy Joe Graham of Wilmer, Archie Lee Graham of Garland and Charles Sherrill Jr., of Balch Springs; a daughter, Norma Flowers of Dallas; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and a brother.
Visitation will be Tuesday morning at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Dorothy Beckham
McKINNEY " Dorothy E. Beckham, 85, of McKinney died Friday in Plano.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the High Pointe Church of Christ with Tom Gaumer officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 5, 1915, in Blue Ridge to Palph and Martha Stonecipher Richardson. She married Clell Beckham in 1934 in McKinney. She was a seamstress and a member of the West Pointe Church of Christ.
Survivors are daughters, Julia Smith of Carrollton and Betty John of Miles; sisters, Vivian Elliott of Blue Ridge and Barbara Campbell of Plano; brothers, Leroy Richardson of McKinney and Billy Richardson of Edmond, Okla.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Her husband and a daugher, Rebecca Griffin, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville.

Marion Bond
Marion Arnette Bond, 86, of West Tawakoni died Thursday in Greenville.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Grove Hill Cemetery with Timothy Gollob officiating.
She was born June 24, 1914, in Tampa, Fla. to James and Katherine Arnette Johnson. She was Catholic.
Survivors are a son, Robert Bond; daughter, Pamela Bond; sister, Hannah Robinson; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Bond.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at Quinlan Funeral Home.

Nathaniel Conder II
BAYTOWN " Hunt County native Nathaniel Herman "Tom" Conder II, 81, of Baytown, died Friday.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grace United methodist Church in Baytown. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Cemetery in Greenville.
Conder was born April 23, 1919, in the Dixon community.
He attended Greenville High School through 1936 and graduated from Wesley Junior College in 1938. After graduating from college, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Iwo Jima during World War II. While in the service, he was awarded the Highest Achievement medal for his marksmanship.
After the war, Conder worked for several years as an electrician in Greenville and Houston. In 1949, he and his brother-in-law operated Commerce Motor Company in Commerce.
In 1950, Conder met and married Charleita Flenniken Conder. Four years later, he and his family moved to Baytown, where he purchased an Oldsmobile dealership. In 1961, he purchased Baytown Motors Pontiac, Cadillac, GMC, which he owned and operated for more than 40 years. He also was a part owner of a Buick dealership as well as Superior Lincoln Mercury in Baytown.
Conder was a member of the Texas Cattlemen's Association, the Houston Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, the Arabia Temple, the Baytown Lodge No. 1357 A.F. and A.M. and the Kenedy Commandery No. 61. He also participated as a mason of the Knight Templar of Texas, was a former board member of Citizens Bank and Trust Company and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Baytown Rotary Club.
The family asks that donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1100, Chicago, Ill., 60611; or to The Aabia Temple Shrine Hospital Benefit Fund, P.O. Box 206625, Houston, Texas, 77225 in Tom Conder's memory.
Survivors are sons, Nat Conder and Charles Conder; daughters, Glenna Marsh, Julie Galvan and Susan Barcena; sisters, Meriel Arnold, Frances McNatt and Violet Wagner; and eight grandchildren.
Arrangements by Earthman Funeral Directors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Herman and Lula Conder; sisters, Mable Warren, Clara Schnorbus, Ruby Anderson and Susan Conder; and brother, Glen Conder.
Earthman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Billy Moore Jr.
MALAKOFF " Billy E. Moore Jr., 44, died Thursday at his home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Malakoff Cemetery. He was born on Sept. 18, 1956, in Athens, Texas. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors are his father, Billy E. Moore Sr. of Frankston; brothers, Gerald Moore of Wills Point and Jack Moore of Cross Plains; sisters, Marilyn Heald, Dorothy Mann and Teresa Kennemore, all of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jurline Featherston Moore; and brother, Derwood Moore.
Visitation is today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Thomas Murley
LEONARD " Thomas Cole Murley, 75, of Leonard, died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Wrenn and Sam Dilbeck officiating. Burial will be at the Grove Hill Cemetery in Fannin County.
Survivors are daughters, Karen Lynn Murley of Celeste and Mary Beth Murley of San Antonio; son, Davey Thomas Murley of Indianapolis; sister, Audrey Proffitt of Whitesboro; brother, Joe Murley of Leonard; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today.

G.A. Pipkin
LONE OAK " G.A. Pipkin, 73, of Greenville, died Saturday in Greenville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lone Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Cook officiating.
He was born in Ridgeway on Jan. 18, 1928, to Grover and Belva Pipkin. and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He also was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church, the Lone Oak School board and the Lone Oak Masonic Lodge. He was a long-time employee of Lone Star Cadillac in Dallas. He also ran Pipkin Feed Store in Lone Oak.
Survivors are his wife, Bobbie Pipkin of Greenville; daughters, Vicki Andrew and Kathy Voss, both of Greenville; stepson, Dwane Holt; stepdaughter, Annette Bearden; brother, Buford Pipkin of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Joy Wanda Richheart of Sulphur Springs, Easter Lou Roberson of Vernon, Bernice Long of Lubbock and Ava Brunson of Rowlett; two granddaughters, Christy Frank and Natalie Voss; three stepgranddchildren; Christopher Holt, Jennie Bearden and Michelle Bearden; and one great-grandson. Sisters, Elsie Haddock, Lynna Willis and Adelene Garner preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home.

Rhonda Robinson
QUINLAN " Rhonda Robinson, 44, of Quinlan died Friday in Rowlett.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
She was born in Odessa on Aug. 18, 1956, to Gary and Barbara Scott Robinson. She was a waitress.
Surviving are her parents; sons, Colby Robinson, Colton Wooten and Christian Wooten; sister, Dina Kay Carnes; and grandmother, Alta Mae Walker.
Visitation will be during business hours at Quinlan Funeral Home.

Lometa Williams
Lometa Mae Williams, 57, of Greenville died Friday in a Dallas hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Westview United Methodist Church.
She was born in Stephenville to Glenn Pillow and Lometa Irene Cook. She married Billy Ross Williams on April 3, 1964, in Dallas. She was a truck driver for Little Sand and Gravel. She was a member of Westview United Methodist Church, Boy Scouts of America, Silver Beaver, Order of the Arrow and Wood Badge Eagle.
Surviving are her mother, Lometa Irene Cook of Plano; sons, Douglas Ross Williams of Sulphur Springs and Matthew Roland Williams of Greenville; daughters, Tracey Lynne Powell of Woodville and Marla Sue Faughtenberry of Point; brothers, Bobby Pillow of Garland and Billy Pillow of Plano; sisters, Glenna Blackstone of Plano and Sandra Dickerson of San Diego; and 10 grandchildren. Her husband and father preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the church. Arrangements by Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
