Dorothy Timberlake
Dorothy Marie Timberlake, 76, of Greenville died Wednesday afternoon at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Rev. Riley Hamilton officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
The daughter of Baxter Palmore and Kattie Herriage Palmore, she was born March 13, 1924 in Point. On May 1, 1941 she was married to Richard E. Porter in Lone Oak. He preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1979. She married Alton Timberlake on Sep. 27, 1982.
Mrs. Timberlake was a homemaker. She was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church and was active in Rebekah Lodge 144 prior to her illness.
Mrs. Timberlake is survived by her husband of Greenville; sons Richard E. Porter of Greenville and Boyce G. Porter of Alba and stepsons Al Timberlake and Roger Timberlake, both of Greenville; a daughter, Francine Swayze of Cleburne; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers are Ricky Porter, Randy Porter, Gabriel Manley, Kyle Carter, Ryan Porter, Dr. Heath Roberts, Luke Porter, Alan Timberlake and Matt Timberlake.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Roy Crumrine
WOLFE CITY " Roy A. Crumrine, 83, of Fort Myers, Fla. died Wednesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville following a lengthy illness. Funeral services are at Salem United Methodist Church in Barrington, Ill. at 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Sam Batt officiating. Burial is in Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington.
Born Sep. 5, 1917 in Buffalo, Kan., he was the son of Fred and Faye Hutchinson Crumrine. He married Charlotte Adams on Aug. 4, 1942 in Olympia, Wash.
Mr. Crumrine was a veteran, serving in World War II. He was a retired builder, realtor and was director of Public Works in Barrington, Ill. He was a member of Olga Fort Myers Shores First United Methodist Church in Fort Myers, Fla. and Salem United Methodist Church in Barrington, Ill.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Margaret White of Wolfe City, Suzanne Peters of Angier, N.C. and Patricia Willer of Barrington, Ill.; three sons, Robert Crumrine of Barrington, Ill., James Crumrine of Manila, Phillipines and Jon Crumrine of McLean, Va.; a sister, Neva Poland of Iowa; brother Kenneth Crumrine of Gladbrook, Iowa; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Brian Crumrine, Bill White, Roy A. Crumrine II, Jon Crumrine, Tod Sadorf, Mathew White, Benjamin Sadorf and Ryan Sadorf.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Barrington Funeral Home in Barrington, Ill. R.W. Owens and Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City is in charge of local arrangements.

Leona Germany
COMMERCE " Leona F. Germany, 87, of Commerce died Tuesday in Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Commerce with Rev. A. William Benner officiating. Burial is in Friendship Cemetery in Cumby.
The daughter of Perry A. Copeland and N. Pearl Caskey Copeland, she was born Nov. 28, 1913 in Smiley. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in San Antonio.
Living in Houston, she was an executive secretary for Texas Service Division of Manned Space Craft Center, NASA, for 25 years.
Mrs. Germany moved to Commerce in 1985. She was a member of the Delphian Club and the Book Discussion Group. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church, most recently the Presbyterian Church of Commerce where she was an elder and composer of the church newsletter.
Mrs. Germany is survived by daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Bart Green of Cumby; son and daughter-in-law Bill and Kathy Germany of Austin; a sister, Merle Wallis of Fort Worth; a sister-in-law, Adelaide Copeland of San Antonio; two grandchildren, Ryan Green of Commerce and Carson Green of West Point; a great-grandchild, Timothy Ryan Green of Commerce; a niece and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Neely Germany and a brother, William Copeland.
Pallbearers are Jeff Helton, Dick Latson, Gerald Bruton, Robert Sanders and Harold Murphy.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Pemberton Funeral Home.

Flora Hamilton
Flora Earline Hamilton, 85, of Greenville, died Tuesday afternoon at Greenville Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Strand officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Quinlan.
Born in Caro on Aug. 24, 1915, she was the daughter of Clayton Winder and Laura Watson Winder. She was married to Frank Hamilton on Oct. 10, 1959 in Dallas.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Mineral Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Rickey Dale Henderson of Greenville, a sister, Betha Lea Reynolds of Mesquite and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981; brothers Marvin Winder and Odis Winder and sisters Effie Honea, Jessie Harris, Nanea Payne, Rozine Henderson and Frauline McCrary.
Pallbearers are Roy Hunter, Ralph Webb, Slenn Wells, Raymond Turner, Danny Gandy and Jeff Puckett.

Daphne Parker
FARMERSVILLE " Daphne Marie Parker, 70, of Farmersville died Wednesday at HCA Medical Center in Plano. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Woody Jackson officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
She was born May 24, 1930 in Blue Ridge, daughter of W.E. Garner and Agnes Eydell McGee Garner.
Mrs. Parker was formerly employed by TU Electric. She was a Baptist.
Surviving are her mother of Farmersville and three brothers, James Garner of Sachse, Jacky Garner of Plano and Johnny Mac Garner of Farmersville.

T.C. Collier
T.C. Collier of Greenville died Monday in Ennis. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Truevine Baptist Church with Rev. R.L. Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Grundy Memorial Park.
Born Oct. 11, 1930 in Lone Oak, he was the son of M.T. Collier and Bessie Mae Gibbs Collier. He graduated from B.T. Washington High School. Mr. Collier was a member of Truevine Baptist Church where he was president of the choir, a kitchen aide and a member of the Brotherhood.
He is survived by a daughter, Shyvon Collier of Greenville; three grandchildren, Tammy Smith, Jason Anderson and Carlton Collier and two great-grandchildren, LaTandra Smith and Jalen Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ella Mae Gilstrap.
Grundy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Albert Treadway
Albert Reagan Treadway, 94, of Greenville died Tuesday morning at Greencrest Manor. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memoryland Memorial Park with Rev. Eddie Smith officiating.
He was born Feb. 3, 1907 in the Meadowview Community, Hunt County, to William Edward Treadway and Ethyl Horn. He married Lela Mae Long on June 21, 1937 in Greenville. He operated Treadway Brothers Grocery and Produce which was begun on Market Square in the 1930s with his father. He retired in 1976. Mr. Treadway was a volunteer with American Cancer Society and the community concert series. He was a charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Mr. Treadway was also a member of Gideons and Golden K Kiwanis.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Treadway; two daughters, Kay Norman of Denton and Karen Zachary of Arlington, Va.; sisters Rachel Lafferty of Commerce and Ethel Gleaves of Richardson and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lela Treadway in 1981 and brothers W.E. Treadway and Logan Treadway.
Visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

James Walker
QUINLAN " James Leo Walker of Quinlan died Tuesday in Wills Point. A memorial service is planned at a later date in Oklahoma.
Son of Howard and Minnie Walker, he was born Aug. 27, 1919 in Sterling, Okla. He married Iola Mae Wells on Feb. 20, 1946 in Durant, Okla. Mr. Walker served in and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as an airplane mechanic with E-Systems and retired from E-Systems. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and Am Vets.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James Daniel "Rooster" and Vicki Walker; daughter Mary Allen of Arlington; three grandchildren, Christina Wolf, Brian D. Cook and Lisa Martin and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a sister.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home.

Barry Arnold
COMMERCE " Barry Lynn Arnold, 30, of Commerce died Feb. 28 at Honobia, Okla. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Commerce with Rev. Kerry Meador officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Born in Greenville on Feb. 8, 1971, he was the son of Jackie Arnold and Anna Beth McKay Arnold. A lifetime resident of Commerce, he graduated from Commerce High School in 1989. He was a senior at Texas A&M University-Commerce majoring in business.
Mr. Arnold was a former member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was a member of Aberfoyle Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Jacie Brianna Arnold of Lone Oak; his parents of Commerce; maternal grandparents, Gerald Dean and Laverne Smith McKay of Commerce; grandmother Jaye Arnold of Beaverton, Ore.; great-grandmother Mable Shepherd of Greenville.
His fraternal grandmother and grandfather, Helen Arnold White and Jack Louis Arnold, preceded him in death.
Pallbearers are Rowdy Poteet, Kurt Arnold, Ryan Evans, Dave Arnold, Kalvin McKay and Jimmy Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Pat Weatherford, Kenny Cooper, Roy Henley, Randy Milam, Kelly McKay, Kortney McKay, Mardi Poteet Johnson, Shana Arnold Cohen, Misty Arnold Moon, Amber Jane Arnold, Shea Edwin Arnold, Brandon Arnold and Lindsey Arnold.
Pemberton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

James Cordell
QUINLAN " James "Uncle Jim" Cordell of Quinlan died Sunday at I.H.S. Nursing Home in Terrell. Funeral services are at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home with Rev. Karen Fullington officiating. Burial is in Lakeside Memorial Park.
Born in Blevins on Feb. 24, 1910, he was the son of Andrew and Sally Cummins Cordell.
Surviving are a stepson, James Malloy and two grandchildren.
His wife, Irene Cordell, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bonnie Pate
BLUE RIDGE " Bonnie L. Pate, 90, of Blue Ridge died Monday at Hinton Nursing Home in Farmersville. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Blue Ridge Cemetery. Rev. J.D. Horton will officiate.
The daughter of Oliver and Harriett Tallent Scott, she was born Jan. 23, 1910 in Blue Ridge. On Dec. 22, 1934 she was married to Malcolm Pate in Blue Ridge.
Mrs. Pate had been employed by Johnston and Haggar Pants. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge.
A sister, Lucille Hartness of Richardson, and nieces and nephews survive.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home of Blue Ridge.

Leon Ragan
CADDO MILLS " Leon Ragan, 62, of Caddo Mills died Sunday at his residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rentfrow Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Jordan officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Born Oct. 3, 1938 in Hunt County in the Graham Point community, he was the son of Clarence W. Ragan and Gracie Bell Werner Ragan. He married Alice Wayne on June 8, 1960 in Paradise Baptist parsonage.
Mr. Ragan was employed as a custodian and school bus driver with the Caddo Mills Independent School District, retiring in 1994 with 30 years' service. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of Caddo Mills; sons and daughter-in-law Randy and Tami Ragan of Caddo Mills, Charles Ragan of Baraboo , Wis. and Delbert Ragan of Greenville; grandchildren Dylan and Ethan Ragan of Caddo Mills and Amanda, Kelly and Brandi Ragan of Baraboo, Wis. and great-granddaughter Mariah Ragan of Baraboo, Wis.
His parents preceded him in death.
Pallbearers are W.P. Bowen, Ron Hamilton, Eddie Payne, Jerry Don Wood, Buel Ray Bentley and Don Williams.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Jo Lynne Kizer
COMMERCE " Services for Jo Lynne "Jody" Kizer, 55, are at 2 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church of Commerce with Dr. Mike House officiating. Burial is in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Herington, Kans. She died Thursday at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas following a battle with cancer.
Mrs. Kizer was born Sept. 16, 1945 in Junction City, Kans. to Harvey J. and Ruth Elizabeth Schmidt Riffel. She grew up in Kansas and later owned and operated the J Bar P Western Store in Herington, Kans.
She moved to Commerce in August, 1985, and on April 28, 1990, she was married to Roger Kizer.
Mrs. Kizer began her employment at East Texas State University (now Texas A&M University-Commerce) as a graduation advisor in the Registrar's Office in January, 1986. She transferred to the President's Office as an administrative assistant in January, 1989. She retired from the university in 2000 because of health reasons.
Surviving are her husband of Commerce; children, Cary Eugene Bryant and wife, Beth, and Mitchell James Bryant and wife, Jennifer, all of Hope, Kans., Michelle Kizer, Theresa Kizer, Vernon Kizer and wife, Mendy, all of Commerce; grandchildren, Kristy Kay Bryant, Ty Eugene Bryant, Cole Augustus Bryant, Chelsea Kay Bryant, Shelby Lynn Bryant, Brody James Bryant, Morgan Michelle Turner, Chase Dylan Kizer and Sarah Megan Kizer; father and stepmother, Harvey and Dorothy Riffel of Salina, Kans.; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Ed Farry of Colorado Springs, Colo.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vernon and Maggilen Kizer of Commerce; sister-in-law and husband, Beulah and Truitt Gilbreath of Corsicana; nieces and nephews, Christopher Farry, Caitlin Farry, Jeff McMullen, Joel McMullen, Heather McMullen Baldwin and Teri Gilbreath.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Karen Riffel McMullin.
Pallbearers are Conner John, William Haddock, Ronny Anderson, Buddy Farrell, Gene Lockhart and Larry Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Glenda Anderson, Sharon Crump, Betty Davidson, Linda King, Loretta Shaffer, Lisa Blackwell and Dr. Jerry Morris.

Ruby Miller
DALLAS -Ruby J. Miller, 97, of Dallas died Friday. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Monday at the Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home in Dallas with the Rev. Bob Longshore officiating. Burial is at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.
Born September 26, 1903 in Hunt County, Mrs. Miller was a graduate of East Texas State Teachers College in Commerce. She was an educator in Dallas, Delta, Hopkins and Van Zandt counties. She was a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church in Dallas.
Mrs. Miller is survived by one daughter, Dora K. Owens and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.R. Miller.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Rachel Stokes
LONE OAK - Rachel M. Reagan Stokes, 52, of Lone Oak died Saturday at her residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak City Cemetery.
Born April 20, 1948 in Quinlan, she was the daughter of L.O. and Grace Reagan. She married Jackie T. Stokes of Lone Oak on May 23, 1964.
Mrs. Stokes was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, of Lone Oak; one daughter, Tammy Acker of Lone Oak; her mother, of Quinlan; two sisters, Linda Hayes of Kaufman, and Freida Mauldin of Greenville; one brother, Timmy L. Reagan of Carrollton; and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Stokes was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery T. Stokes; her father; and one sister, Brenda Reagon Erwin.
Pallbearers are Michael Mauldin, Donnie Crutcher, Gerald Crutcher, Jordan Reagan, Trent Erwin and Alan Stokes. Bartley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
