Reginal Bryant Wilson of Garland died Thursday. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Garland with Rev. Phillip Walls officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Park, Dallas.
He was born in Dallas on Feb. 6, 1962, to Rev. and Mrs. J.C. Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents; a daughter, Whitney Gorman of Dallas; two brothers, Kevin and Kelvin Wilson of Garland and sisters Jaunna Moss and Shandra Wilson of Garland.

Lorene Hunt
TERRELL - Lorene Moore Hunt, 90, of Terrell, formerly of Mt. Pleasant died Saturday at Terrell Care Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. D.L. Barrow officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
Mrs. hunt was born on Oct. 2, 1910, in Rockwall to John Ashley and Fannie Lou Gotcher Moore. She was married on Sept. 30, 1947 in Dallas to Thomas Jefferson Hunt. She was a seamstress and a Baptist.
She is survived by a step-son, Sterling Hunt of N. C.; a step-daughter, Margie Beasley of Cary, N.C.; a sister, Anna Lou Pinckard of Sacramento, Calif; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, Wesley, Gotcher, Brown and Leon (J.L.) Moore; a sister, Freda Wilson and a step-son, Thomas Hunt.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Ruby Newman
MESQUITE - Ruby W. Newman, 94, of Mesquite died Saturday at Mesquite Tree Nursing Center. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wilson-Orwosky with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Burial will be at Turner Cemetery in Emory.
Mrs. Newman was born on Nov. 28, 1907 in Emory to Ambrose M. and Lorena Shivers Edgar. She was married in 1927 to William Drue Newman. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by a daughter, Effie M. Murray of Dallas, three sisters, Essie Elliott of San Antonio, Mary Arrington of Mabank, and Inez Patton of Dallas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Emily Applegate
Emily Mable Applegate, 62, of Mt. Pleasant died Wednesday at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Vansickle Baptist Church. Burial will be in Weiland Cemetery in Cash.
,She was born Sep. 13, 1938, in Henderson to Walter and Emily Elkias McCannon. She was a retired seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include sons Ronnie Short of Cash, Paul Davis of Sulphur Springs and Samuel Davis of Garland; daughter Donna Daniel of Cash; two sisters, Opal Vandergriff and Maureen Blythe, both of Ore City; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Marie Connatser
DALLAS - Funeral services for Marie Patterson Connatser of Dallas, formerly of Celeste, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Grove Hill Funeral Home with Jim Jordan officiating. She died Thursday in a Dallas hospital.
She was born in Celeste on Aug. 8, 1912, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lem Patterson and had been a resident of Dallas for nearly 60 years. She was a homemaker and was a licensed beautician. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Dallas.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Roscoe Connatser of Dallas; three grandchildren, Ted Tarpley of Dallas, Marie Tarpley of Commerce and Mark Tarpley and wife Colleen of Dallas; one great-granddaughter, Anna Tarpley of Dallas; son-in-law Fred Tarpley of Commerce; nephew Frank Patterson and family of Celeste, Mrs. Dudley Patterson and family of Dallas; several nieces and nephews and special friend Kathy Upton of Tecumseh, Okla.
A daughter, Jolene Connatser Tarpley, preceded her in death.

Verda Greenway
WOLFE CITY - Verda Lee Greenway, 88, of Wolfe City died Thursday at Smith Nursing Home following a six month illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Dwight Gardner and Rev. Randy Rather officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Born May 31, 1913, in Wolfe City, she was the daughter of Charlie and Virgie Kizer Stidham. On Jan. 10, 1930, she was married to Darrell Ray Greenway in Hugo, Okla. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church in Wolfe City.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Ray Greenway of Lake Jackson and Bob Greenway of Wolfe City; two daughters, Mary Wade of Leonard and Cindy Davidson of Woodbridge, Va.; two sisters, Oma Tapp of Wolfe City and O'Dell Turner of Austin; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Wade, Mike Wade, Robert Greenway, Phillip Greenway, Steve Wade and Rob Bramer.

Isac Josue Wong, newborn, died Monday at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services were at 7 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jose Amaya officiating. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. today at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
He was born in Dallas on July 16, 2001, to Juan Carlos Wong and Sandra Ramirez Wong.
Surviving are his parents of Greenville; brother Juan Carlos S. Wong of Greenville; a sister, Joansandy M. Wong of Waco and grandmothers Olga Rodriquez, Yolanda Jarquin and Mercedes Ramirez, all of Miami, Fla.
Norman Parker
Norman Parker, 81, of Kaufman died Wednesday at Willow Bend Nursing Home in Mesquite. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Temple in Dallas with Rev. Huff officiating. Burial will be in Emory City Cemetery at 4 p.m.
Son of James F. and Margaret Thibdeou Parker, he was born July 12, 1920, in Canada. On Sept. 4, 1943, he married Dolores Wylie in Ypsalanti, Mich. Mr. Parker was a truck driver. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Temple.
Surviving are a son, Phillip Parker of Kaufman; one daughter, Norma Murphy of Mesquite; a brother, Raymond Parker of Michigan; sister Mae LaSalle of Arizona; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
His wife preceded him in death.

David Ewalt
David Samuel Ewalt, 70, of Greenville died Monday morning at his residence. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Knight and Rev. James Nance officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens in Terrell.
Born June 13, 1931 in Van Zandt County, he was the son of Charlie Lee Ewalt and Asa Love Teel Ewalt. He served in the U.S. Marines. Mr. Ewalt worked in law enforcement - three years on the Liquor Control Board, 28 years in the Greenville Police Department and 12 years for the Hunt County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of Reavilon Baptist Church and the Pythian Lodge.
Surviving are two brothers, Carrol Duane Ewalt of Dallas and Charles T. Ewalt Sr. of Jacksonville; a sister, Nelda Jean Starling of Garland; special friends Elna and Arvie Burdette and Pam and Benny Henager, all of Greenville; two nephews and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Harold Roseberry, Kenneth Peters, Darrell Cash, Jeff Gore, Ivan Gusten and Cullen Smith.

Kristopher R. Klein
Kristopher R. Klein of Arlington died Sunday at Christus St. Joseph Hospital in Paris. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Peters Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
He was born Jan. 20, 1977 in Albuquerque, N.M., son of Valerie Raymond and Ray Klein. He was employed in construction.
Survivors include his mother of Arlington; his father of Greenville; stepfather Jeffrey Raymond of Arlington; two brothers, David Curtis of Garland and Derick Klein of Albuquerque, N.M. and two sisters, Doriane Klein and Cortney Klein, both of Greenville.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Holland, L.B. Bryant, Clint Greer, Chad Ladnier, Leonard Woodruff and David Curtis.

Virginia Hews
SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine " Virginia "Ginny" D. Hews, 85, of Portland, Maine, formerly of South Portland, Maine, died Thursday at a Portland Nursing Home following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Portland. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in South Portland.
She was born in Commerce, daughter of Charles Neeley and Eugenia Long Draper. She was educated in the Commerce schools and was a graduate of Commerce High School and East Texas State University. She also attended the University of Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. On April 19, 1944, she was married to Claude E. Hews in San Diego, Calif.
Mrs. Hews taught English and Spanish and also worked for the Commerce Journal. She and her husband moved to Maine in 1945 after World War II. She was a homemaker for several years and returned to teaching senior English in 1966 and retiring in 1976. She was a member of the College Club of Portland, a 56-year member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Portland, serving on many boards and committees. Mrs. Hews was on the board of managers at Seventy Five State Street in Portland and was a member of the Maine Teachers Association.
Surviving are three sons, Charles E. Hews of South Portland, Maine, Robert F. Hews of Portland, Maine and James R. Hews of Dallas; a daughter, Claudia H. Monsell of Portland, Maine; brother Thomas Draper of Houston, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Felicitas Lucio
Felicitas Lucio of Edinburg died Sunday. There will be a rosary at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carcoran officiating. Burial will be in Sullivan Cemetery.
Daughter of Antonio and Clara Lucio, she was born in Mexico on Jan. 14, 1916. She worked with the handicapped in Edinburg and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church there.
Survivors are nephews Antonio Reyes, Albino Reyes and Ruben Reyes, all of Greenville and other nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Thompson, Chris Reyes, Jeff Ottwell, Kevin Bowers, Thomas Mead and Mark Self.

Jimmy Milton
WILLS POINT " Funeral services for Jimmy D. Milton, 47, of Garland are scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Edgewood with Revs. J.W. Scott and R.C. Wrenn officiating. Burial will be in Edgefield Cemetery. He died Friday in Hunt County.
He was born April 24, 1954, in Edgewood to Marzell Milton and Dortha R. Lewis. On June 6, 1980, he married Regina Scott of Longview.
He graduated from East Texas State University and began his 20-plus year career with Raytheon.
He was an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Delta Xi Chapter of Greenville) where he served as Vice-Basileum. Mr. Milton served as a youth mentor in the Greenville community and was a member of the International Society of Poets. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Edgewood and was currently attending services in Garland.
Surviving are his wife of Garland; two daughters, Crystal and Marisa Milton of Garland; his mother of Edgewood; three sisters, Debra Milton of Cleveland, Ohio, Barbara Green of Wichita Falls and Ann Hunter of Royse City and three brothers, Marvin Milton and Maurice Milton, both of Greenville and Melvin Milton of Rowlett.
His father and an infant brother, Edward Leon Milton, preceded him in death.

Daughter of George Roden and Lydia McCall, she was born July 22, 1909, in Jones Prairie. On June 3, 1942, she was married to Jacob Sandford in Belton. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church of Wolfe City.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Goodman of Greenville; a son, James Sandford of Wolfe City; four sisters, Ruth Patterson of Springhill, La., Roxie Harthcock of Grand Prairie, Louise Nixon of Rockwall and Winnie Adcock of Milwaukie, Ore.; three grandchildren, James Goodman of Greenville and Julie Deary and Amy Sandford, both of Wolfe City and two great-grandchildren, Tyler Sandford of Wolfe City and Joshua Goodman of Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974, one grandson, six brothers and three sisters.

Donna Starrett
NEW YORK, N.Y. " Donna Gale Sanders Starrett, 66, died Sunday in New York City. Memorial services are pending.
She was born March 3, 1935, in Greenville, daughter of Howard and Oline Mauldin Sanders. She was married to Ken Starrett on Oct. 19, 1968, in New York. Mrs. Starrett studied music at Julliard and appeared in numerous Broadway shows.
Surviving are her husband of New York; a sister, Helen Sheley of Greenville and a niece, Dionne Green of Austin.
Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.
Julia Burchett
SHREVEPORT " Julia C. Burchett, 78, of Shreveport, La. died Saturday at home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today with Rev. Bobby Sparks officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Burchett was born on July 1, 1923, in Huntsville, Ala. to Thomas M. and Nellie Johnson Hutcheson. She married David Edward Burchett on Aug. 5, 1940, in Hopkins County. She was Baptist and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas E. Burchett of Shreveport, La, and Alvin Burchett of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Cooter Bandy of California; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Jerry Burchett; three brothers and one sister.
