ROCKWALL " Janett Darlene Bishop, 50, of Caddo Mills died Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel with Rev. Rick Blue officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Born May 10, 1951 in Dallas, she was the daughter of Bill and Mary Emmagene Morris Hunt. She was a lifelong resident of the Dallas area until moving to Caddo Mills five years ago. She worked for E-Systems, now Raytheon, for 13 years until her medical retirement in 1996. Mrs. Bishop was a member of Family Fellowship in Greenville.
Surviving are sons Rickey Bishop of Greenville and Larry Bishop of Arkansas City, Kan.; her husband, Howard Cathey of Caddo Mills; her mother of Pleasant Grove; a brother, Billy Hunt of Richardson; sister Mary Muntz of Mesquite and three grandchildren.
Her father preceded her in death in 1996.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Kevin Eacret
Kevin Lee Eacret, 19, of Celeste, died Monday morning at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Celeste with Rev. James Ralson officiating. Burial will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park in McKinney.
He was born Nov. 11, 1981, in Collin County to Calvin "Gene" Eacret and Candy Batchelor Eacret. He graduated from Celeste High School in 2001 and was a member of the football team there for four years. He was voted Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player in Regional playoff. He worked in construction with his father. Mr. Eacret was a member of First Baptist Church of Celeste.
Survivors include his father and stepmother Calvin and Rene Eacret of Celeste; his mother and stepfather Candy and T.C. Cook of Celeste; grandparents Betty and Harvey Keelin of Lone Oak and Lynn Batchelor of Sunset; great-grandmother Ruby Walling of Princeton; a brother, Roger Eacret of Lone Oak; brother and sister-in-law Jason and Jessica Wade of Celeste; a sister, Ashlie Wade of Celeste; niece Erica Lee Eacret of Lone Oak; nephew Ryan Wesley Wade of Celeste and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A grandmother, Sue Barnes, preceded him in death in 2000.
Pallbearers will be Justin Rickman, Andre Rector, Justin Wade, Brandon Brown, Chris White, Justin Glasscock, Roderick Givens and Mitch Murphy. Members of the Celeste Blue Devil football team will serve as honorary pallbearers.
A memorial trust fund has been established in his name at First Bank of Celeste.

Brenda Jeffrey
CADDO MILLS " Brenda Ann Jeffrey, 60, of Nevada died Tuesday in Tyler. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Nevada with Rev. George Merritt officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 1, 1940, in Dallas. She was married to Larry Jeffrey on March 26, 1966, in Dallas.
Surviving are companion Jerry Duncan of Nevada; her mother, Darlene Clark Rattan; sons, Jerry Harvey of Missouri, Dwayne Harvey of California, Larry Jeffrey Jr. of Florida and Chris Jeffrey of Lake Dallas; two daughters, Cindy Robinson of Wylie and Debra Byrd of Alba; brothers Robert Walker of Midlothian and Paul Walker of Silver Leaf; sisters Sandra Dowden of Chandler, Ariz., Karen Walker of Grand Prairie and Doris Walker of Tucson, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her husband and two grandchildren preceded her in death.

Don Langford
Don Langford, 62, of Quinlan died Tuesday at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. A memorial service is set at 2 p.m. today at Christ Memorial Baptist Church in Quinlan with Rev. Jim Townsend officiating.
Son of Otha Langford and Beatrice Welborne Langford, he was born May 29, 1939 in Oak Grove, La. He married Margaret Williams on Oct. 8, 1961, in Durant, Okla. Mr. Langford served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Kraft Foods in Garland and retired in 1994. Following his retirement he began a new career as a truck driver. He was a member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church in Quinlan.
Mr. Langford is survived by his wife of Quinlan; a son, Kerry Don Langford of Dallas; daughter Toni Hix of Van Alstyne; a brother, G.W. Langford of Ben Franklin; two sisters, Thresia Haney of Greenville and Pat Tasa of Lake Jackson; grandchildren Amy Hix and Rachel Hix, both of Van Alstyne and Bryan Salter, Lauren Salter and Stevie Salter, all of Garland; and one great-grandchild, Brandon Johnson of Van Alstyne.
His parents and one sister preceded him in death.

FARMERSVILLE " Mrs. Oma Buck Smith, 103, of Farmersville, died Tuesday at Hinton Nursing Home in Farmersville. A graveside service is set at 3 p.m. today at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Rev. Harold Kindle officiating.
She was born March 7, 1898, in Royse City, daughter of Walter Buck and Settie Canup Buck. She was married to Frank Smith in Nevada on April 2, 1918. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeanie Richie of Farmersville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

BONHAM " Mary Sue Vandergriff Medcalf, 49, of Bonham died Monday at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Gafford Chapel Cemetery with Fred Chapman officiating.
Born Aug. 13, 1951, in Commerce, she was the daughter of Alfred P. (Red) and Opal Vandergriff. She was married to Walter Medcalf. Mrs. Medcalf was a housewife.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Dale Hollingsworth and John Needham Hollingsworth; a daughter, Johnna Sue Wilson; four stepdaughters, Crystal Lee, Caryn Lynn, Cheryl Beth and Cynthia Caroyl Medcalf, her mother, three brothers, Carl and Jerry Vandergriff of Commerce and Bobby Vandergriff of Seaboard, Ore.; a sister, Nancy Jean Trentham of Commerce and nine grandchildren.

Wetah Pryor
BLUE RIDGE " Wetah Beatrice Pryor, 98, of Blue Ridge died Tuesday in Plano. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Long officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery.
Born Oct. 18, 1902, in Floresville, she was the daughter of Charlie Abner and Odessa Mae Clayton Sellers. She was married to William E. Pryor on Dec. 4, 1926, in Pike. Mrs. Pryor was a member of Blue Ridge Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Dahlia Henderson of Rome, Ga., Ruth Phifer of Blue Ridge and Pearl Grain of Lindale; two sons, Clifton Pryor of Greenville and Lloyd Pryor of Van Alstyne; a sister, Lillian White of Farmersville; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Charles Coppinger
ATHENS " Charles Ray Coppinger, 64, of Athens, formerly of Greenville, died recently in Athens. Military graveside services were held Saturday at Oak Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Laura Russell and Mrs. Carol Turner officiating.
He was born on May 27, 1937, in Greenville to Euclid Ray and Gennie Lee Cunningham Coppinger. He married Lena Webb in 1970.
Mr. Coppinger was a veteran of the Air Force and the Navy. He retired from Fruehauf Trailer Company. He was a graduate of Greenville High School.
He is survived by two brothers, Mike Coppinger in DeSoto and Gary Coppinger in Lancaster; a sister, Carol Turner in Grapevine and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Jan. 2, 2001 and by his parents.
Brian Millsap
Brian Keith Millsap, 27, of Greenville died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Davis officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery .
Born May 21, 1974, in Greenville, he was the son of Tim and Judy Ann Henslee Waldrep. Mr. Millsap was a self-employed stereo installer. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Surviving are his parents of Greenville; grandparents Reon Pelton of Greenville, Glenda Woodson of Granbury, Elizabeth Clingan of Wolfe City and Jimmy and Lou Waldrep of Pittsburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Lynn and Michelle Millsap of Greenville and Shannon Corie and Peggy Waldrep of Greenville; nieces Courtney and Kayla Millsap of Greenville; a nephew, Tristan Duane Waldrep of Greenville; aunts and uncles Mark and Kim Waldrep, Lloyd and Ann Millsap and Beth Warren; cousins Dustin and Jerra Waldrep, Penni and Benton White and Michael and Debra Millsap and special friends.

Berniece A. Thomas Patterson, 79, of the Towncreek Retirement Community in Huntsville died Monday morning at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Daughter of C.C. Rozell and Lurena Scott, she was born in Hunt County on Sep. 11, 1921. She was a seamstress and she was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Jimmy and Judy Thomas of Irving, Jerry and Debbie Thomas of Greenville and Kevin and Cathy Thomas of Huntsville; a brother and sister-in-law, C.W. and Leona Rozell of Wolfe City; sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Burl Vice of Greenville; sister Frances Barnett of Greenville; sisters-in-law Faye Rozell of Greenville and Vern Dickerson of Quinlan; grandchildren Brenda and Jerry Collins of Spring Branch, Alicia and David Deutsch of Garland, Andrea and Lance Mason of Longview, Evan Thomas of Dallas, Michael Thomas of Huntsville, Candice and Jason Peters of Wichita Falls and Jessica and Ryan Kilcrease of San Antonio; four great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

Delphia Burnett
Delphia Rose Burnett, 92, of Greenville died Sunday at Briarcliff Health Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. David Blackmon officiating. Burial will be at Memoryland Memorial Park.
She was born on Aug. 22, 1908, in Caddo Mills to Samuel F. and Maudetta Caldwell Rose. She married G.L. "Pat" Burnett on June 27, 1926, in Greenville.
Mrs. Burnett was a homemaker and a member of Kavanaugh United Methodist Church. She was the first woman in Greenville to serve on the board of directors of a bank. She was a private plane pilot and served as Past Beautification Chairman at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. She was also past president of the Woman's Society of Christian Service at Kavanaugh and a charter member of the Garden Study Club.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Gail Donnell of Addison, Rebecca Swieczkowski and her husband Michael of Plano and Paul Burnett and his wife Carole of Dallas; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband; a son, Pat Burnett and a grandson, Larry Burnett.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Charles Coppinger

Billy O'Pry
ARLINGTON " Billy Fred O'Pry, 67, of Arlington, formerly of Greenville, died Saturday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Arlington Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Park Cemetery.
He was born on Dec. 12, 1933, in Greenville to Beatrice and Morris O'Pry. He was married in 1956 to Barbara Abbott.
Mr. O'Pry was a Greenville High School graduate and veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He attended East Texas State Teachers College for three years. He worked for the Greenville Herald Banner with his father, Morris O'Pry.
He joined the Boy Scouts of America in 1966 as a professional scouter where he served in the Circle Ten Council as a District Scout Executive and in the Waco Council as Camp Director. He presented 288 Eagle Scout awards during his career before he retired in 1990.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Jennie Henicke of Hurst; two sons, John Glenn O'Pry and Bill O'Pry of Grand Prairie; his mother; a brother, Morris "Buddy" O'Pry of San Francisco, Calif. and three grandchildren.

Alton Stotts
KINGSTON " Alton L. Stotts, 82, of Kingston died Saturday at his home. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Smith officiating. Burial will be at MC Wright Cemetery.
He was born on Dec. 10, 1919, in Enloe to Charles E. and Myrtle Bratcher Stotts. He was married on March 5, 1938, in Cooper to Nettie Moncrief.
Mr. Stotts was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He retired from E-Systems and was a member of First Baptist Church in Celeste.
He is survived by five daughters, Oleta Brumley of Irving, Wanda Erwin of Grand Prairie, Jennie Lakey of Brashear, Mary Latham of Irving and Vicki Steen of Greenville; a brother, Pate Stotts; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his wife, a brother and a sister.

NEVADA " Jeremy Nall Walker, infant, of Nevada died Saturday at Plano HCA Hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Thompson Cemetery in Copeville.
He was born on July 7, 2001 in Plano to Jerry and Annette Nall Walker.
He was survived by his parents; a sister, Kimberly Deanna Walker of Nevada; a brother, Walker Eddy Covey of Brady and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nall of Nevada and Mrs. Diane Walker of Greenville.
Clifford Wisenbaker
GRAND PRAIRIE " Clifford Lee Wisenbaker, 88, of Grand Prairie died Thursday in a Grand Prairie hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lone Oak Assembly of God Church in Lone Oak with Rev. Sam Calk and Rev. O.J. Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Bascom Cemetery in Tyler.
He was born on July 31, 1912, in Tyler to Leonard and Dellie Wisenbaker. He was married on June 30, 1934, in Hugo, Okla. to Ella Ree Carter.
Mr. Wisenbaker was partners with Jimmie D. Spence in creating the First Assembly of God Church in Sulphur Springs.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Dean Glasco of Grand Prairie and Barbara Jeanne Ezzell of Seymour; a brother, C.A. Wisenbaker of Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Abby Rucker and Zelma Miller of Houston; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his wife and a granddaughter.

Kenneth Armstrong
POINT " Graveside services for Kenneth DeWayne Armstrong, 22, of Point are at 10 a.m. today at the Lone Star Cemetery with Rev. C.H. Pritchett officiating.
He was born Sep. 8, 1978, in Fort Worth to Kenneth and Gail Armstrong.
Survivors include a son, Darrell Armstrong of Point; his parents of Point and grandparents J.N. and Junell Blanton of Brashear and Norma Dean Armstrong of Point.
