FARMERSVILLE " John Henry Caraway of Farmersville died Wednesday in Rockwall. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Erb officiating. Burial will be in Lane Cemetery in Celeste.
Son of Samuel L. Caraway and Etta E. Norton Caraway, he was born May 2, 1923, in Marlow, Okla. He married Laneta Clinton of Celeste in December 1982 in Durant, Okla. Mr. Caraway was a farmer.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Jones of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, Ronnie Clinton of Rockwall; two sisters, Oweda Mangrum and Ettavae Riley, both of Modesto, Calif.; brothers Jack Caraway of Redlands, Calif., Ivan Caraway of Lawton, Okla. and Sam Caraway of Novato, Calif.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jimmie Fults
COMMERCE " Jimmie Lou Fults, 83, of Commerce died Wednesday at Oak Manor Nursing Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Deteau officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.
Born Feb. 4, 1918, in Commerce, she was the daughter of John Wiley Turner and Myrtle Lou Lankford Turner. She was married to George Raymond Fults on April 18, 1936, in Ladonia. Mrs. Fults was a member of First Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge, both in Commerce.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Wiley and Diane Fults of Greenville and Bobby and Charlene Fults of Commerce; twin daughters and sons-in-law Brenda and Travis Baxley of Cumby and Glenda and Bill Davenport of Santa Fe; sisters Eva Lee Faulks of San Angelo, Gay Nell Findley of Bairoil, Wyo. and Wanda Land of Casper, Wyo.; a brother, Cecil Turner of Casper, Wyo.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Fults was preceded in death by her husband in 1998; brothers Joe and Leon Turner; a sister, Prebble Gibson and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Tony Fults, Kyle Fults, Josh Fults, Kyle Burns, Damon Burns and Randy Baxley.

Lila Reneau
WOLFE CITY " Funeral services for Lila Owens Reneau of Wake Village will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Rev. Robert Renfro and Rev. Kevin Mitchell officiating.
Mrs. Reneau died Wednesday at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana.
She was born in Fannin County, daughter of Richard W. and Bessie L. Robinson Owens. She was married to Bill B. Reneau on June 5, 1947 in Wolfe City and had been a resident of Wake Village for the past 48 years. Mrs. Reneau was an active member of the Wake Village Garden Club and had held several difference offices. She was also a supporter of the Wake Village Lions Club.
Mrs. Reneau is survived by her husband; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert C. and Millo V. Owens of Wolfe City; two nephews, Bobby G. Maples and wife Linda and Richard C. Owens and wife Ola, all of Wolfe City; two nieces, Ms. Betty E. Smith of Wolfe City and Shannon L. Schumacher and husband Douglas of Fort Worth and several other nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jim Trapp, Marion Gentry, Chester Higgs, Allen Thomason, Reuben Milton and Wayne Bouterse.

Carl Lands
COMMERCE " Carl Weldon Lands, 91, of Commerce died Monday. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home of Commerce.
Mr. Lands was born Qpril 19, 1910, in Hunt County to James and Polly Lands. He married Ruby Farler on July 6, 1933. He retired frm the Cotton Belt Railroad and the Denton State School. He was a emmber of the Masonic Lodge of Commerce and was a Master Mason. He also belonged to Scottish Rite of Dallas and Hella Temple of Garland. He was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church in Commerce.
He is survived by special friend Dorren Pratt of Klondike; Johnnie Miller of Lake Dallas who was reared by the Lands; three nieces and their husbands, Nona and billy Guy Smith of Midland, Edwina and L.C. Threlkeld of Commerce and Joyce Jean and Perry Johns of Fort Worth.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years; and brother and sisters Opal Davis, Nona Butler, Minnie Lee Wells, Pearl Ryner and Dee Lands.
James Miller Jr.
COMMERCE " James P. "Jake" Miller Jr., 91, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Commerce, died Monday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pemberton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike House officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville.
Born in Klondike on March 19, 1910, he was the son of James Perry Miller Sr. and Fannie Wynn Miller. He married Juadeen Damron on Aug. 20, 1937 in Quinlan.
His family moved to Commerce when he was five years old. He attended Commerce schools and graduated from Commerce High School in 1928. Mr. Miller was a World War II Navy veteran, serving on a troop transport and serving in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. He and his wife owned and operated Miller's Grocery and Market for years, eventually closing the market to begin custom farming and ranching. He was a donor to projects such as the South Sulphur Regional Development Association and Commerce Independent Schools. He was a member of the Commerce Masonic Lodge 439 and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Mr. Miller moved to Arizona in December 1999 to be close to longtime friends.
He is survived by special friend Donna Faulk; special friends Ted and Debbie Paulk of Mesa, Ariz., and their sons Jordan and Jacob Paulk; nephew Jim Bradford of Lewiston, Idaho and great-nephew Ben Laws Jr. of Flowermound.
Preceding him in death were his wife in October 1999; a son, James Talbert Miller who died in infancy; four brothers and five sisters.
Pallbearers will be Mike Rainbolt, Jake Rainbolt, David Moody, Clifton Haddock, Jake Haddock, Marion Ainsworth, Richard Hill and Bruce Hineman. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Laws Jr., Jordan Paulk, Jacob Paulk, Ted Paulk, Preston Speight and Norman Messick.
Memorials may be made to the Commerce Independent School District (Jake and Juadeen d'Miller Scholarship Fund) or the Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Tx. 75219.

Liselotte Rice
Liselotte W. Rice, 77, of Greenville, formerly of Mesa, Ariz., died Monday at her residence. There will be a private memorial service at a later date in Mesa, Ariz.
She was born Oct. 31. 1923 in Wurzburg, Germany to Theodor Konrad and Margareta Wirth Konrad. She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include three sons, James Rice and wife Suzie of Greenville, Steve Rice and wife Ruth of Mesa, Ariz. and Herb Rice of Merced, Calif.; a daughter, Jane Boegner and husband John of Bothell, Wash.; three brothers; one sister; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Loys Scott
WOLFE CITY " Loys F. Scott, 92, of Greenville died Tuesday at Briarcliff Health Center following a lengthy illness. There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Dick Henning officiating.
Son of Fonnie Marion and Bertie McElrath Scott, he was born Jan. 12. 1909, in Coleman. On Sep. 29, 1940, he married Reba Hardeman in Greenville. Mr. Scott retired from the U.S. Soil Conservation Service. He was ordained as a deacon at Aberfoyle Baptist Church in 1953 and continued to serve as a deacon throughout his lifetime. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; two sons, James M. Scott and wife Sharon of Princeton and Robert L. Scott and wife Jean of Greenville and four grandchildren, Steven and April Scott of Weatherford, David Scott of Waco, Julie and Tim Eastin of Independence, Mo. and Susan and Matt Duncan of Denton.
Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

WOLFE CITY - Oma Tadlock Caldwell, 97, of Wolfe City died Monday at Smith Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home with Dwight Gardner and Mark Eldridge officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Daughter of Marcus D. Layfatte and Maggie Jane Knight Tadlock, she was born Nov. 16, 1903 in Hunt County. On March 28, 1925, she was married to Hubert Ross Caldwell in Wolfe City. She was a housewife and was a member of First Christian Church.
Mrs. Caldwell is survived by sister-in-law Dora Caldwell of Wolfe City and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Caldwell, Roy Caldwell, Paul Caldwell, Frank Caldwell, Donald Caldwell, Gene Dawson, Dorman Tucker and Jerom Tucker.
Clyde Martsolf
Clyde Allan Martsolf, 62, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Burleson, died Friday afternoon in Hattiesburg, Miss. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Son of Clyde Martsolf and Ina Bell Casey Martsolf, he was born in Enon Valley, Penn., on April 24, 1939. Mr. Martsolf was an escort in the transportation industry.
Surviving are his mother, Ida Martsolf of Enon Valley, Penn.; a son, Scott Martsolf of Fort Worth; two daughters, Cindy Fincher of Burleson and Pam Barnett of Weatherford; two brothers, Ed Martsolf of Petit Jean, Ark. and Fred Martsolf of Portersville, Penn.; sister Betty Jean Scott of Enon Valley, Penn. and 11 grandchildren.

COMMERCE- Earnest L. Ragland, 82, of Commerce died Saturday at his home. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike House officiating. Burial was in Rosemound Cemetery.
Born Aug. 10, 1918, in Dickens, he was the son of Clark Asher and Florance Anders Ragland. He married Lady Carrie Spinks on Dec. 23, 1939, in Hugo, Okla. He was a rancher/cattleman.
He is survived by a daughter, Sue Finch of Commerce; a brother, C.A. Ragland of San Jon, N.M.; two sisters, Earnestine Carter, his twin, of Son Jon, N.M. and Ruth Carrell of Hale Center three grandchildren, David Wayne Finch of Commerce, Ernest Michael Finch of Ferris and Gwendolyn Sue Finch Watts of Commerce; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; two brothers, Bill Ragland and Loyd Ragland and a sister, Mona Mae Hill.
Nephews served as pallbearers.

ROWLETT - William "Billy" Travis Witt Sr., 58, of Rowlett died Saturday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rowlett Chapel with Rev. Jeff Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mr. Witt was born March 10, 1943, in Dallas and attended Caddo Mills High School. He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Eastern Hills Country Club and was a golfer. Mr. Witt was a member of St. Phillips Methodist Church of Garland.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell Witt; daughters Kim Belisle of Rowlett and Tammy Lennington of Lake Hawkins; a son, William T. Witt Jr. of Dallas; his mother, Vera Bea Johnson and husband Boyd of Caddo Mills; brothers Bobby Harper and James Johnson, both of Caddo Mills; sisters Carol Nicol of Arlington, Mary ZumBerge of Dallas and Janis Stroope of Campbell; grandchildren Kelli Lennington and Zachary and Rachel Belisle; son-in-law Jerry Belisle; brothers- and sisters-in-law Mr. and Mrs. David Walser of Miami, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. Billy Gunter of Dallas, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Inman of Rowlett; Donnie Gunter of Garland and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Osborn of Wilberton, Okla. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born Dec. 4, 1902, in Farmersville, she was the daughter of Seymour and Laura Lindsay Neatherly. She married Robert Jess Aycock, Sr. Ms. Aycock was a hairdresser and a member of the Christian Science Society.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice Lynn Bridges of Farmersville; a son, Charles Seymour Aycock of Rowlett; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

DALLAS " Clyde C. Moon, 84, of Dallas died Friday in Dallas. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Blue Ridge with Rev. Johnnie Jones officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
Born Aug. 8, 1916, in Blue Ridge, he was the son of Olie and Abby McDonald Moon. He married Josephine Wilkins on Feb. 12, 1944, in Alto. Mr. Moon was a carpenter and a garage door installer.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Linda Jo Nance of Mesquite; two sons, James moon of Port Aransas and Ronald Moon of Terrell; three brothers, Travis Moon of Ft. Worth, Robert Moon of Dallas and Coy Moon of Arlington; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Born July 26, 1919, in Mexia, she was the daughter of John Henry and Cynthia Ann Rhodes Williams. She married Mack Rickard on June 17, 1939, in Mexia. She was a housewife.
She is survived by four daughters, Patricia Lucas of Midlothian, Helen Morris of Trinity, Darla Rickard of Palmer and Kathy Rickard of Sulphur Springs; three sons, Jackie Rickard of Red Oak and Jim and John Rickard of Commerce; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Eaton, Scott Eaton, Allen Jones, Donnie Lucas, Danny Musgrave and John Stevens.

Mary Hibbetts
Mary Hatch Hibbetts, 90, of Campbell died Friday in Denton. Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Hariet Wacker officiating.
Mrs. Hibbetts was born April 23, 1911, in Bartlett, Texas, to Will and Mary Hine Hatch. She married Claude William Hibbetts on APril 12, 1939, in Bartlett.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Greenville.
She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Pennel of Denton and Cynthia Hibbetts of Campbell; and one granddaughter. Mrs. Hibbetts was preceded in death by her husband and a grandchild, Guy E. Pennell.

Robert Krider
Robert H. Krider, 75, of Greenville, died Thursday at his home. Memorial services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Grace Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bill McNatt officiating.
Born in Peoria, Ill. on Feb. 9, 1926, he was the son of George Thomas Krider and Florence Terria Hardin Krider. He married Gladys Blanche Burnett in the Phillipines. Mr. Krider served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a contract administrator for E-Systems. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. Mr. Krider was a member of Masonic Lodge 263 in Peoria, Ill., Vision 2000, was a United Way Volunteer of the Year and was a member of the first class of Citizens Police Academy. He was a police department volunteer and was active in local Boy Scouts.
Mr. Krider is survived by a son, Clay Burnett Krider of Houston; two daughters, Susan Jennifer Krider and Darcie Lynn Krider Zimmerman, both of Greenville; grandchildren, Zachary Krider and Kail Krider, both of Leonard; and Myles Zimmerman and Paisley Zimmerman, both of Greenville; and special friend Dorothy Foote of Greenville.
His wife preceded him in death on Jan. 7, 1985.

Reuben Mayo
Charles Reuben Mayo, 95, of Greenville died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will be at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Born Jan. 6, 1906, in Knox City, he was the son of Charley Hudson Mayo and Lucy Eugenia Beck Mayo. He married Bernie Jo Echols on Nov. 17, 1928, in Greenville. Mr. Mayo was a wholesale distributor. He was a charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, a deacon and a Sunday school teacher.
Mr. Mayo is survived by his wife; sons and daughters-in-law Charles O. and Gloria Mayo of Greenville and Larry and Donna Mayo of Greenville; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.
Pallbearers will be grandsons George Mayo, Steve Mayo, David Mayo, Eric Hoffman, Terry Arnold and Jason Barborak. Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Boulton, J.C. Green, Gilbert Nelson, Hughes White, Jack Dumas and Lowell Lawson.
