Jerry Tatom
STAMPS, Ark. - Jerry Maurice Tatom, 64, of Stamps, Ark., died Monday at the V.A. Hospital in Dallas. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Sardis Cemetery in Stamps.
He was born Nov. 19, 1936, in Hope, Ark., son of Jewel and Vera Tatom. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Tatom was an automobile mechanic. He was a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Tatom of DeSoto; a son, Tommy Tatom of Ennis; two daughters, Kathy Blackwood of Red Oak and Karen Shelton of Greenville; three grandsons and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jane Brookhart.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at A.O. Smith Funeral Homes in Stamps.

Lois Weatherly
FRIONA - Lois A. Phillips Weatherly, 88, formerly of Greenville, died Monday at Parmer County Community Hospital in Friona. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Friona United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Boren and Rev. Matt Hudson of Weatherford officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery.
She was born May 6, 1913, in Greenville and was married to Clyde Weatherly May 21, 1938, in Greenville. She was a member of Friona United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Celia Dee Loflin of Friona; three sons, Bill Weatherly of Lubbock, James Weatherly of Canyon and Phillip Weatherly of Crested Butte, Colo.; a sister, Arvis Phillips of Greenville; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 14, 1969, and a son, Gene Weatherly on July 27, 1999.
Memorials may be made to National M.S. Society, Panhandle Division, 6222 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, Tx.
Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona is in charge of arrangements.

Elvetta Williams
CADDO MILLS - Elvetta Burkett Williams, 89, a longtime resident of Caddo Mills, died Monday at the Hinton Home in Farmersville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Paradise Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Combs and Rev. Charles Scarborough officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park, Greenville.
She was born April 16, 1912, in Hunt County to William Wylie and Minnie Cathrine Burkett. She was married to Clyde Earl Williams on Aug. 27, 1927. She was a homemaker and she worked for Howard Wolfe of Greenville as a seamstress. Mrs. Williams was a member of Paradise Baptist Church
Surviving are a sister, Jewel Williams of Greenville; daughter Barbara and husband David Holland of Caddo Mills; son Don Earl and wife Jessie Williams of Caddo Mills; daughter-in-law Nelda Davis Williams of Caddo Mills; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband Clyde Earl Williams in 1975 and a son, Clyde Eugene "Sonny" Williams in 1993.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Rentfrow Funeral Home in Caddo Mills.

Margaret Hitt
BALLWIN, Mo. - Margaret J. Berg Hitt, 78, of Chesterfield, Mo., died Aug. 3 in Town and Country, Mo. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at The Schrader Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard L. Hitt officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery in Jefferson Barracks, Mo.
She was born in Tulsa, Okla., on July 9, 1923, to Charles F. and Amy May Kiser Bert. She was a homemaker. She lived in Greenville from 1964 to 1972.
Surviving are her husband, Earl J. Hitt; a son, Richard L. Hitt; two daughters-in-law, Shirley Hitt and Connie Hitt and two grandchildren, Jennifer Hitt and Richard L. Hitt Jr.
A son, Bruce A. HItt, preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to Missouri Baptist Healthcare Foundation, Patient Care or Research, 3015 Ballas Road, St. Louis, Mo. 63131.

Billie Roundtree
WOLFE CITY - Billie W. Roundtree, 78, of Wolfe City died Saturday at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Services are at 10 a.m. today at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City with Dwight Gardner and Gary Roundtree officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
He was born May 21, 1923, in Hunt County to Lawrence W. and Clysta Grace Alexander. He married Martha Cavasos who preceded him in death in 1994. Mr. Roundtree was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a retired construction contractor and a member of West Main Church of Christ in Wolfe City.
He is survived by two daughters, Fay Russell of Midland and Sandra Gatlin of Wolfe City; one step-son, Joe Cavasos of Paris; two brothers, Paul Roundtree of Wolfe City and William Roundtree of Cumby; one sister, Jeanine Lowrie of Cumby; four grandchildren, Lee Gatlin and David Gatlin of Wolfe City and Billy Luke Russell and Tina Russell of Midland and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Roundtree, Gary Roundtree, John Paul Roundtree, Reese Lowrie, Don Roundtree, Kenny Lowrie, Daniel Lowrie, Rodney Lowrie and Jim Roundtree.

James Smith Jr.
LEONARD - Funeral services for James Calvin "Red" Smith Jr., 76, of Leonard will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pike Baptist Church near Leonard with Ellis Hayden officiating. Burial will be in Pike Cemetery.
Mr. Smith died Sunday at Pike.
Son of James Calvin Smith Sr. and Nola Sarah Peak Smith, he was born Dec. 10, 1924 in Pike. He married Helen Maurine Brake on April 8, 1947, in Leonard. Mrs. Smith was a disabled veteran and he was a member of First Baptist Church of Leonard.
Surviving are his daughter, Trenia Baldridge of Gladewater; a brother, Billy Smith of Wichita Falls and four grandchildren.
His wife preceded him in death on Oct. 8, 1991.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.

Ernest Williams
McKINNEY - Ernest "Tex" R. Williams, 74, of McKinney died at his home Friday. No services planned.
He was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Quinlan. Mr. Williams retired from the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Flo; daughters, Texann and Kelly; a son, Rick; six brothers, J.B., Bill, Herbert, Frank, Bill and Kenneth; a sister, Peggy and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association.
Belew Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee, McKinney, Tx. is in charge of arrangements.

Jesus Castillo
Jesus Castillo, 95, of Greenville died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Sevices will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wesley Ford officiating. Burial will be at Merit Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 24, 1905, in El Encinal to Mr. and Mrs. Felipe Castillo. He was married to Elaine Sumrow. Mr. Castillo was a member of Open Door Ministries.
He is survived by his wife, eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and a son.
Visitation will from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Billie Roundtree

Jack Holt
Jack Ross Holt, 66 of Quinlan died Saturday at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Quinlan IOOF cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Joe Kimball will officiate.
Born September 18, 1934 in Orangeville, he was the son of Warren and Flossie Daugherty Holt. He married Lois M. Duncan April 17, 1955 in Silverton.
Mr. Holt was a retired supervisor for the Dallas County district two garage.
Survivors include two daughters, Vickie Kimball of Cash and Sandra Cox of Collinsville; two sons, Jackie Holt and Gary Holt, both of Quinlan; five sisters, Shirley Crawford, Ruby Donihoo, Heidi Garcia, Sally Taylor and Helen Smitheson; one brother, Kenneth Holt; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his wife; a son, James Holt; his parents; one brother, Warren Holt; one sister, Sue Wilson; and a half-brother, Gene Holt.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Weldna Baumgardner
Funeral services for Weldna Fae Baumgardner, 87, of Greenville, will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gene Welborn officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Baumgardner died Thursday in Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
She was born March 15, 1914, in the Bethel community of Hunt County to John Anthony and Fannie Caple Foster. She was a sales associate for women's apparel and a member of Kavanaugh United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Dwayne Patterson of Greenville; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law Debbie and Gary Bellotte, Brenda and Monty Fitzgerald and Patty and Kevin Jenkins, all of Greenville; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Bertie Abbott and Mattie Lamm, and a brother, Melvin Foster.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Marie Dunn
EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - Services for Marie E. Dunn, 101, of Greenville, will be at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, in Dawson Funeral Home, with Richard Hasley of Boyce United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park in Beaver Falls, Pa.
Mrs. Dunn died Tuesday in Briarcliff Health Center in Greenville.
She was born March 2, 1900, in Crimora, Va., to John M. and Josephine Stockdale Gochenour. She lived most of her life in Roanoke, Va, until moving to East Liverpool in the late 1940s. She resided in Greenville for the last 10 years with her daughter.
She attended Boyce United Methodist Church while in East Liverpool, was a member of American Legion Post No. 374 Auxiliary, the Area Senior Citizens, and was once recognized as a top bowler in the state of Ohio.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carlos Hudson of Boston, Mass., and Mrs. Thomas (Caroline) Ren of Greenville; a son, William E. Kidd of Morgantown, W. Va.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Byron Balco, a stepson, Robert F. Dunn; two sisters, Gladys Blessing and Dorothy Smith, both of Warren, Ohio; a brother, Glenn Gochenour of Charlottesville, Va.; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Dunn.
Family visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made in care of Hospice of the Valley.

Tony Sabella
QUINLAN - Tony Sabella of Royse City died Wednesday in Dallas. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Park.
Son of Andrew Sabella Sr. and Margaret Gross Sabella, he was born Dec. 15, 1923, in Bethlehem, Penn. He married Wanda Joy Lindsey on Aug. 18, 1950, in Turner Town. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Sabella was a truck driver. He was a Baptist and a member of the V.F.W. and Teamsters.
Survivors include sons Randy Sabella of Winnsboro, David Sabella of Greenville and Kenneth Sabella of Henderson; two daughters, Pamela Lide of Seagoville and Renea Holt of Terrell; brothers Louie Sabella, Chuck Sabella and Andrew Sabella, oll of Bethlehem, Penn.; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Dennis Sabella.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Sabella, Brodie Sabella, Mathew Holt, Tommy Climer Jr., Tommy D. Climer and Tony Climer. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Sabella and David Sabella Jr.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
