COMMERCE- Ronnie Cole Kirk, 2 months, of Commerce, died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. Funeral services are at Baker Funeral Home in Pound, Va. Burial is in Bold Camp Cemetery in Pound, Va.
He was born in Greenville on Oct. 7, 1997, son of Timothy and Donna Kirk of Commerce.
Surviving are his parents; brothers Anthony Kirk and Cody Kirk of Commerce; grandparents Chet and Margie Skaggs of Indianapolis, Ind. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ollie Montgomery
FARMERSVILLE - Ollie N. Montgomery, 92, of Copeville died Wednesday. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Copeville with Rev. Russell Moore officiating. Burial is in Thompson Cemetery.
She was born in Nevada on Sept. 25, 1905 to Melvin Benjamin and Minnie Cannon Inman. She married Lewis Montgomery in Copeville on Nov. 9, 1930. Mrs. Montgomery was a homemaker and was a member of Copeville Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Ouida Montgomery of Copeville and Reida Roberts of Whitehouse; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial may be made to Copeville Baptist Church.

John Rogers Jr.
TEXARKANA - John Lee Rogers Jr., 81, of Texarkana, died Monday in a local hospital. Services are at 11 a.m. today at the St. James Episcopal Church with Rev. Paul Lambert officiating. Burial is in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Commerce on April 20, 1916. He lived in Tyler and had lived in Texarkana for the past 37 years. He was retired from the Cotton Belt Railroad and from Day & Zimmerman. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Carman of America and he was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife Erma Rogers of Texarkana; a son, John Cleve Rogers of Texarkana; a daughter, Janet Rogers Collins of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Ola DeBoard of Hedley and Jean Clark of Tyler; a brother, Billy Joe Rogers of Stephenville; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church.

Robert Stooksberry
COMMERCE -Robert Stooksberry, 70, of Fort Worth died Tuesday in Fort Worth. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Pemberton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Tollison officiating. Burial is in Shiloh Cemetery in Klondike.
Mr. Stooksberry was born Nov. 17, 1927, in Commerce; the son of Homer and Viola Creamer Stooksberry. He married Betty Salmon on Dec. 23, 1949, at the Westover Air Force Base in Massachusetts.
Mr. Stooksberry retired from the Air Force as a chief master sergeant. He was a meteorologist for the Air Weather Service while in the Air Force. He was also a meteorologist for Cain Weather Service.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 27 years and was past master of a lodge in Fort Worth. He was also a member of the Eastern Star, Shriners Hella Temple and Scottish Rites of Fort Worth. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife of Fort Worth; daughter, Cynthia Stooksberry of Fort Worth; sister, Laura Stooksberry of Dallas; and four brothers, James Stooksberry of Garland, Troy Stooksberry of Klondike; Cecil Stooksberry of Dallas and Frank Stooksberry of San Gabriel, Calif.
Pallbearers are Cecil Stooksberry Jr., Jerry Stooksberry, Tim Stooksberry, Jimmy Stooksberry, Eddie Barker, John Barker and Bob Davis.
Doris Woodall
Doris Ann Woodall, 49, of Arlington died Thursday in Arlington Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Preston Beeks officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Born in McCamey on Oct. 18, 1948, she was the daughter of Arthur L. Littlejohn and Opal Jewell Kennon. She married Robert Ray Woodall in October, 1979, in Odessa. Mrs. Woodall was a secretary with Air Liquids. She was a member of Greenfield Acres Baptist Church in Odessa.
Surviving are her husband of Arlington; a son, Tommy Woodall of Odessa; a daughter, Tina Robinson Spencer of Lubbock; a stepdaughter, Randa Woodall of Washington; a sister, Mollie Hubbard of Odessa and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Hubbard, Terry Thompson, Ricky Gene Everhart, Larry Joe Woodall, Bill Roberson, Dale Duncan, Tommy Rhoden and Robbie Hinton.

QUINLAN - Max Wayne Allen of Quinlan died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel with Valentino L. Orozco officiating. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Friday in Bastrop.
The son of Robert and Cora Davis Allen, he was born Jan. 11, 1935 in Sulphur Springs. He married Emelia Allen on Aug. 7, 1953 in Austin. Mr. Allen served in the Army and Air Force. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife of Quinlan; a daughter, Mary Gail Salvato of Austin; two brothers, Nelson B. Allen of Quinlan and Wilburn Allen of Alberta, Ala.; two sisters, Opal Ballard of Fort Worth and Jo Taylor of Quinlan and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie J. Arrington on Sept. 13, 1994; two brothers, Charles D. Allen and Donald R. Allen and two sisters, Evelyn Thibodeaux and Joyce Miller.

She was born Aug. 18, 1911 in Cherokee to Bessie Gay and Walter Lee Johnson. She lived in Goldthwaite, born and raised in San Saba County. She was a housewife. Mrs. Berry was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son Graydon of Greenville; two sisters, Elizabeth Hamrick of Lometa and Willie Cox of Lancaster, Calif.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

LANCASTER - Funeral services for Lucille Christian, 91, of Dallas are at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Peoples Missionary Baptist Church, 3119 Pine, in Dallas, with Rev. S.M. Wright II officiating. She died Tuesday at Baylor Medical Center.
She was a native of Campbell and was a Dallas resident for 53 years. She was a charter member of Clean South Dallas, Inc. which was founded by her daughter, Kathly Gilliam; Nine Original Member Project Team and the Wendenkin/Driskell Neighbor Association in South Dallas.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathly Gilliam of Dallas and Lorraine Parson of Oakland, Calif.; a son, Conley Gene Christian of San Francisco, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three daughters and three sons.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at Walter A. Wilson and Family Funeral Directors in Lancaster.
Anita Dempsey
Anita Jean Dempsey, 73, of Greenville died Tuesday at her home. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday at the Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Nichols and Don Taylor officiating. Burial is in East Mount Cemetery.
The daughter of Corbett Middlebrooks and Ethel Hanes, she was born in Jardin on Nov. 17, 1924. She and J.H. "Jack" Dempsey were married April 14, 1946 in Hallsville. She was a former employee of International Milling Company and was a retired dental assistant with Dr. John Herbst after 14 years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a member of the ALR Sunday School class.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, John Mark and Tricia Dempsey of Bryan; grandchildren, Jenny and Mike Dempsey of Bryan; a brother-in-law, Wayne Maples of Commerce and a sister, Rosemary Causey of Garland.
Preceding her in death were her husband on Jan. 13, 1997; her parents and a sister, Melba Maples in 1994.
Pallbearers will be Don Taylor, Wayne Maples, Hewitt Moseley, Bill Johnson, J.L. Boles and Ken Grundei. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the ALR Sunday School class and Gene Ackles, Spud Prather, Elva Baker, and H.W. "Sock" Inglish.

She was born in Greenville on April 23, 1949, to J. H. Dorman and Willa Dean Dorman.

Wendell Johnson
Wendell Johnson of Greenville, died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday at Price Temple Church of God in Christ with Roy L. Price officiating. Burial is in East Mount Cemetery.
He was born in Greenville, on Sept. 19, 1943, the son of Roland and Cleo P. Pennington Johnson. He married Bonnie Jones in Greenville on July 24, 1962. He later married Georgia Holbert on Dec. 21, 1969 in Greenville. He was owner/operator of Auto Paint and Body. Mr. Johnson was a member of Faith Church of God in Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia, of Garland; three sons, Wendell Johnson Jr., Andre Johnson and Larry Holbert, all of Greenville; two daughters, Alicia Ann Johnson of Garland and Betty Chree Hamilton of Dimono; two brothers, Billy M. Johnson of Dallas and Joe D. Johnson of Greenville; four sisters, Lotrice Johnson Fagin of Greenville, Mary Ruth Johnson Bilton of Waco, Alice Johnson Gilstrap of Amarillo and Mollie Johnson Williams of Dallas and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and three brothers.

She was born Nov. 18, 1900 in Grayson County to Rufus A. and Minnie Della Rose Burns. She married Henry E. Kerr in Dallas in September, 1923. Mrs. Kerr was a Baptist.
She is survived by two sons, Orvis R. Kerr of Mesquite and Jerrel D. Kerr of Mesquite; two daughters, Virginia White of Spearman and Helen Rodden of Balch Springs; a sister, Thelma Ramsey of Greenville; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Her husband preceded her in death in January, 1973, and an infant daughter in 1924.

Survivors include her husband of Farmersville; a daughter, Wynona NeSmith of Merit; a son, Carl Morrow of Farmersville; a sister, Cora Johnson of Rayfield, Colo.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

The daughter of William L. and Sally Montgomery Rowan, she was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Farmersville. She married Nicholas Alder Nov. 20, 1937; he died March 1, 1969. She married Glen Tarrant on Jan. 1, 1974, in Princeton. She worked as a supervisor for Luminaton. Mrs. Tarrant was a member of the Farmersville Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband of Princeton; a daughter, Dorise Alder Murphy of Princeton; a stepson, Gary Tarrant of Farmersville; six sisters, Bonnie Montgomery of Garland, Jere Hardie and Jonn Rutherford, both of Fort Worth, Jeanett Murphy and Mildred Cassetty, both of Princeton, and Billie Stewart of Farmersville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Irwin of Garland and Leon Irwin of Lone Star; two brothers, Gene Turner of Greenville and O.J. Turner of Garland; two sisters, Nellie Niemeyer of Point and Lou Harris of Point; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 22, 1988; four brothers, Carl Turner, Silas Turner, Douglas Turner and Melvin Turner and two sisters, Maggie Turner and Ann Formica.
