W.Z Passons, 78, of Greenville died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Chapel. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.

Margaret Holloway
QUINLAN-Margaret "Peggy" Holloway, 77, of Quinlan died Thursday in Dallas. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert G. Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland, Greenville.
Daughter of Elmer F. and Margaret Ellen Frost, she was born Oct. 26, 1920 in Alden, Kansas. She married Myron "Mike" E. Holloway on July 27, 1987 in Miami, Okla. She was an office clerk for State Farm Insurance for 17 years.
Survivors include her husband of Quinlan; a son, Myron E. Holloway Jr. of North Carolina; three daughters, Janet Saulters of Quinlan, Margaret Ellen Story of Josephine and Christine Lockwood of North Carolina and four grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Donald Hofer.
Pallbearers will be Randy Campbell, Eddie Story, Delbert Saulters, Jason Campbell, Bobby Saulters and Stephen Giles.
Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
John McLean
QUINLAN- John Marcus McLean, 90, of Quinlan died Thursday in Greenville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Copeland officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery.
He was born in Sulphur Springs on Dec. 10, 1906 to Marcus Wilson and Willie Ann McLean. He and his wife, Martha Lee, were married July 27, 1944 in California. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II in India and Egypt. Mr. McLean was a salesman. He was a member and a deacon at Point View Baptist Church in Combine.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol Ann Morman of Quinlan and Barbara Diane Reed of Garland; a brother, Bert Wade McLean of Dallas and three grandchildren.
His wife preceded him in death on May 30, 1997.
Naomi Wilson
LEONARD - Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi Wilson, 77, of Leonard, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Cowen officiating. Burial will be in Pilot Point Cemetery.
She died Friday at Wilson N. Jones Regional Health System in Sherman.
Born Oct. 11, 1920 in Tioga, she was the daughter of Ernest Grant and Opal Hopkins Grant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Leonard. Mrs. Wilson was a beautician.
She is survived by a son, Billy Morris Wright of Emory; three sisters, Janie Neil of Van Alstyne, Georgia Yarbrough of Pilot Point and Carol Hickman of Alvarado; four brothers, Merle Secrest of Gainesville, Mansel Secrest of Fort Worth, Truman Secrest of Irving, Jimmy Secrest of Lewisville and Mack Secrest of Pilot Point; two grandsons and one great-grandson.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Kenny Armstrong
Kenny Joe Armstrong, 32, of Plano died Monday in a Tyler hospital. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Commerce with Raymond Jones officiating. Burial is in Rosemound Cemetery.
He was born in Commerce on May 5, 1965 to Marshall and Jane Carol Wilson Armstrong. He was a construction worker and was a member of Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include his parents of Plano; a son, Christopher Armstrong of Plano; a daughter, Kimberly LaAnne Johnson of Plano; two brothers, Bruce Rashawn Armstrong of Copeville and Donald Wayne Armstrong of Plano and two sisters, Rosaline Carol Armstrong and Valletta Rashell Armstrong, both of Plano.
Pallbearers will be Nelson Armstrong, John Bowser, Greg Armstrong, Eugene Turner, David Daniels, Homer Brown, Don Armstrong and Monroe Parker.
Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Chapel.
Gene Donihoo
LEONARD - Funeral services for Gene Donihoo, 55, of Leonard are at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dalton Jaco and Rev. Billy Holley officiating. Burial is in the Leonard Cemetery. He died Wednesday at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Born July 6, 1942 in Sherman, he was the son of Robert Donihoo and Eula Garner Donihoo. He married Doris Price on Dec. 10, 1962 at Valley Creek. Mr. Donihoo was a member of the Assembly of God Church and was a feed mill employee.
He is survived by his wife of Leonard; daughter, Barbara Donihoo of Leonard; sons Charles Donihoo of Leonard and Jerry Donihoo of Bailey, a sister, Louise Hendrix of Whitewright; brothers Lewis Donihoo of Dorchester and Kenneth of Tom Bean and two grandsons.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Frances Lamb
COMMERCE - Frances Lavern Lamb, 65, of Mesquite died Wednesday in Mesquite. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today at Pemberton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Malcolm Bane officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemtery.
She was born in Yowell on Nov. 20, 1932, daughter of Royce H. Phillips and Ima Presley. She married John C. Lamb on June 6, 1953 in Cooper. Mrs. Lamb was a longtime resident of Mesquite and was a member of the Town East Baptist Church. She was a secretary for Baylor Hospital in Dallas for 12 years.
Surviving are her husband of Mesquite; daughter and son-in-law Kathy Lavern and Billy Wayne Barlow of Watauga; son and daughter-in-law Jon Thomas and Connie Lamb of Colleyville; two sisters, Sue Tawater of Mount Vernon and Joyce Bane of College Station; a brother, Tommy Phillips of Mount Vernon; five grandchildren; several aunts and several nieces and nephews.
Her father preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 1984 and her mother on Nov. 27, 1997.
Pallbearers will be Jay Phillips, Chris Frederick, Tim Phillips, Ronnie Sansing, Mike Stooksberry, Billy Barlow and Kirk Bane.
Visitation is at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Samantha Bass
TERRELL - Graveside services for Samantha Raye Bass, 7, of Terrell are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Highland Memorial Gardens with Dave Sutherland officiating. She died Tuesday in a Dallas hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born Oct. 9, 1990, in Stuttgart, West Germany. She was a student in the Greenville Independent School District.
Surviving are her father and step-mother, Tracy and Sheryl Bass of Terrell; two brothers, Joseph Bass and Wyatt Bass, both of Terrell; half-sister, Shannon Usrey; and several grandparents.
Miss Bass was preceded in death by her mother, Lisa Warren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Anderson-Clayton Brothers Funeral Home, which is in charge of the arrangements.
William Collins
LEONARD - Graveside services for William E. Collins, 79, of Dallas are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Leonard Cemetery with Rev. Don Benton officiating. He died Monday in Presbyterial Hospital of Dallas.
Born Sept. 20, 1918 in Leonard, he was the son of Homer Collins and Nannie E. McClellan Collins. He married Sheila Peers on Oct. 12, 1946 in Lenthicum Heights, Md. He was a member of the Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas. Mr. Collins was an attorney and was a member of the Dallas, Texas and American Bar Associations and American College of Probate Counsel. He was also a member of Engineers Club of Dallas, Dallas Country Club and numerous civic organizations.
Surviving are his wife of Dallas; daughter, Catherine Froggatt of Asheville, N.C.; sons Michael Homer Collins, John McClellan Collins, Bruce William Collins and Bryan Cyril Collins, all of Dallas and Paul Peers Collins of Orlando, Fla. and 12 grandchildren.

Henry Jacks
Henry Clay Jacks, 93, of Greenville, died Tuesday at the Deport Nursing Home. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Lambert officiating. Burial is in Simmons Cemetery.
He was born in Quinlan on Aug. 27, 1904 to Jeff Jacks and Mary Ina Pharr. He married Odessa Henderson on Aug. 14, 1927 in Quinlan. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by four sons, Johnny Jacks of Lone Oak, James Jacks of Sulphur Springs, David Jacks of Greenville and Michael Jacks of Grapevine; four daughters, Wilma Hulsey of Paris, Sally Burkett of Greenville, Mary Ellen Lambert of Greenville and Jo Ruth Groom of MountVernon; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1995; a son, Leon Jacks; a daughter, Louise Nix; six sisters and four brothers.
Serving as pallbearers are David Jacks, Steve Nix, Adam Jacks, Greg Hulsey, Jason Jacks, Shane Jacks, Brian Porter and Corey Jacks.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
J.T. Ramsire Jr.
TERRELL - Funeral services for former Terrell police officer J.T. Ramsire Jr. are at 1 p.m. today at the Union Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Marcus C. Barron Jr. officiating. Burial is in New Oakwood Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 10, 1956 in Childress to J.T. Ramsire Sr. and the late Annie Ramsire. He attended Greenville schools and graduated in 1975. He then attended the Mount Pleasant Police Academy and began his police career in Commerce. He later moved to Terrell and was employed by the Terrell Police Department for 19 years. He received numerous service awards and certifications including the East Texas Police Academy of Kilgore, Law Enforcement Management Institute, Tactical Police Driving Academy, North Central Texas Academy of Governments, the Precinct 7 Constables office and the Terrell Odd Fellows Lodge No. 232.
Surviving are his wife, Oltha Ramsire of Terrell; his father; children Zulekha (CoCo) and Dorrell, both of Terrell, and Myesha, Jonte and Jeremy of Greenville; sisters Lena Dennis and Joyce Morris, both of Greenville, Lola Champion of Garland, Billie Harris of Burbank, Calif., and Patricia McCurdy of Rowlett; brothers Ulysses Bell of Portland, Ore., Larry Ramsire of San Francisco, Calif., Marvin Ramsire of Commerce, and Bobby, Terry and Gregory Ramsire of Greenville and nieces and nephews.

Albert Stuckey
Albert E. Stuckey, 81, of Greenville, died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
The son of Samuel Stuckey and Winnie Ward Stuckey, he was born March 16, 1916 in Little Rock, Ark. He married Ruby Ray in Galveston in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired licensed physical therapist and worked in the Houston area for 20 years. Mr. Stuckey was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; a son, David Rickey Stuckey of California; stepson Jerry Bowen of Tennessee; stepdaughter Joy Chapman of Greenville; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Jimmy Williams, Jay Sikes, John Rhodes, Robert Isham, Ray Virgin and Jason Williams will serve as pallbearers.
John Blevins
FARMERSVILLE - John Wesley Blevins, 41, of Farmersville died Tuesday in Farmersville. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville.
He was born Jan. 21, 1956, in Grapevine; the son of Roy Joe and Helen Jo Combs Blevins. He married LaQuita Armstrong on July 5, 1988, in Farmersville. He was a machinist and a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife of Farmersville; daughters, Jessica McCaslin and Robin McCaslin, both of Farmersville; son, Jonathan Blevins of Wylie; parents, of Merit; and two brothers, Joe Blevins of Farmersville and Larry Blevins of Ponder.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fielder-Baker Funeral Home, which is in charge of the arrangements.
Billy Chesley
DALLAS - Billy Joe Chesley, 72, of Greenville died Monday at his residence. Funeral services are at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Restland Funeral Home-Wildwood Chapel. Burial is in Restland Memorial Park.
He was born in San Antonio on May 24, 1925, to John I. Chesley and Ruth Burney Chesley. He married Altie Medders. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Mr. Chesley was a sales representative. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda Horton of Arlington, Susan Foster of Stephenville, and Carol Henry of Godley; two stepdaughters, Judy Connors and Debbie DeFore, both of Alvin; five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leo and Elwood Chesley and one sister, Pauline Harkrider.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A.B. Harvey
POINT - A.B. Harvey, 71, died at his home Monday. Funeral services are today at 2 p.m. at Woosley Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Woosley Cemetery.
He was born April 15, 1926 in Cype Springs to Myrtle J. Dunavent and James Henry Harvey. A 32-year employee of E-Systems, he retired in 1987 and moved to the Woosley community. He was a member of the USS Colorado Alumni Association, having served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946; a lifetime member of VFW Post 2559, East Tawakoni and a member of the American Legion Post 17 in Greenville. Mr. Harvey was a member of the Woosley Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons, David Harvey, Clay Harvey, Tim Harvey, all of Emory, Alfred Harvey of Point, Wesley Harvey of Tom Bean and Daniel Mark Harvey of Fort Worth; four daughters, Kathy Gowin of Emory, Alice Wages of Mesquite, Brenda Hickman of Garland and Linda Blagburn of Point; a brother, James Harvey of Dallas; 28 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a niece and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Rae Horton Harvey on Nov. 6, 1996; his identical twin brother, C.B. Harvey in Feb., 1952; his parents, a brother, Jack Harvey; two sisters, Cherry Stayton and Vera Russom and two grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Shane Gowin, Joey Pierce, Samuel Harvey, Corey Mellorn, Tim Norlin and Burr Hickman. Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Landsdale.

W.C. Hayes
W.C. Hayes of Farmersville died Sunday at McKinney Health Care Center. Funeral services are at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with Supt. John Ellis officiating. Burial is in Grundy Memorial Park.
He was born in Mount Pleasant on June 19, 1917; the son of Alf and Bell Hayes. He and Lucille Thomas were married in Rockwall on Oct. 26, 1937. He was a farmer and a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife of Farmersville; a son, Willie C. Hayes of McKinney; two daughters, Emma Jeffery of Caddo Mills and Zephia Mae Porch of McKinney; a sister, Annie Bell Hayes of Grand Prairie; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, seven brothers, and four sisters
Serving as pallbearers will be James Jeffery, Nathan Jeffery, Michael Jeffery, Andrew Duffey, Henry Lee Miles, Bobby Don Porch.
