Albert E. Stuckey, 81, of Greenville, died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating. Burialis in Memoryland Memorial Park.
The son of Samuel Stuckey and Winnie Ward Stuckey, he was born March 16, 1916 in Little Rock, Ark. He married Ruby Ray in Galveston in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired licensed physical therapist and worked in the Houston area for 20 years. Mr. Stuckey was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; a son, David Rickey Stuckey of California; stepson Jerry Bowen of Tennessee; stepdaughter Joy Chapman of Greenville; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Jimmy Williams, Jay Sikes, John Rhodes, Robert Isham, Ray Virgin and Jason Williams will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mary Vance
Mary Ellen Vance, 97, of Greenville died Monday at Briarcliff Health Center. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitch Skelton officiating. Burial will be in Quinlan IOOF Cemetery.
She was born July 9, 1900 in Quinlan to Jeff Davis and Ellen Wallace. She married J.W. Vance on Sept. 27, 1919 in Quinlan. Mrs. Vance was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Church.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Mary Jane Vance of Greenville; three daughters, Eva Lea Carter of Quinlan, Katie Hurse of Greenville and Faye Reynolds of Greenville; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Her husband, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is at the funeral home today from 1 p.m. until time of service.
Billy White
Billy Craig White of Greenville died at his residence Monday. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Rolen officiating. Burial is in Caney Cemetery.
He was born in Greenville on Oct. 13, 1970 to Billy E. White and Janice Kay Isham. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his father of Lone Oak and a sister, Tara Garcia of Celeste.
His mother preceded him in death.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ray Childers
POINT - Ray E. Childers, 86, of Royse City died Sunday at the V.A. Hospital in Bonham. Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Monday at Lone Star Cemetery.
He was born in Compton, Ky., on Aug. 1, 1911 to Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Childers. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force serving in World War II. He was a tradesman, sales and acc. He was a member of World War II in Europe.
Surviving is a son, Eddie Childers of Royse City.

Sue Everett
ROYSE CITY - Funeral services for Sue Elliott Everett of Greenville are at 2 p.m. today at the Rest Haven Funeral Home, Royse City Chapel with Rev. Warren Osburn officiating. Burial will be in the Josephine Cemetery.
She died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
She was born in Hunt County on Dec. 31, 1916, daughter of Melvin and Lucy Ann Rosenbalm Aday. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include one son, Joe Elliott of Greenville; two sisters, Mary Christphher Boles of Larue, and Foy Reagan of Josephine and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be James McGahan, Homer McGahan, Wade Reagan, Toby Reagan, Richard Goins and David Reagan.
Jack Norton
LONE OAK - Jack D. Norton, 76, of Lone Oak died Saturday at Lake Pointe Medical Center. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. today at Hooker Cemetery with Rev. Larry Jordan officiating.
Mr. Norton was born May 20, 1921, in Kaufman County; the son of William Franklin and Addie Lou Hatcher Norton. He married Dorothy Helen Bean on Sept. 4, 1953.
A resident of Lone Oak for 11 years, Mr. Norton served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Dallas Odd Fellows Lodge No. 44 for 46 years, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was retired from Tex-Pak after 30 years of employment. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Kathy Norton of Cash; two sisters, Bernice Darden of Dallas and Ruth Boles of Point Blank; grandson, James Norton II of Fort Lewis, Wash. and granddaughter, Tiffany Ann Amerski of New Orleans, La.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Aug. 15, 1996.

Mary Polk
COMMERCE - Mary Allye Polk, 92, of Garland died Saturday in Amarillo. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Pemberton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Cathey and Rev. Bob Longshore officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.
Daughter of Joseph Edgar Moore and Fannie Leonia Foster, she was born June 20, 1904 in Durham Community. She married Robert Clyde Polk Sr. on May 5, 1929. She was a longtime resident of Commerce. She attended Scatterbranch and Horton High Schools and graduated from Tyler Commercial College and East Texas Normal College in Commerce. She received her Texas Teachers Certificate and taught public schools. She was also City secretary for Commerce.
Mrs. Polk was a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School director, WMU officer, librarian and she served on the finance and nominating committees at First Baptist Church in Dallas. She was employed at Gilmer Lumber Yard. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Garland.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Mary Jo (Johnston) Polk of Garland; granddaughter and husband, Beth and Dean Cathey of Rockwall; grandson and wife Gary and Gaylia Polk of Amarillo; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Sally Polk and Joshua Dean and Caleb Robert Cathey; two sisters, Mrs. Berneice Gentry and Mrs. Addyleen Stanford and a brother, Harrold Moore.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband in 1970; a son, Robert Clyde Polk Jr. in 1993; a a brother, Richard Moore and two sisters, Joyce Robinson and Viola Clark.
Johnnie Moore, Gary Moore, Dean Cathey, Steve Rainey, Marcus Moore and Richard Moore will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Irma Rickman
FARMERSVILLE - Irma D. Rickman, 84, of Princeton died Saturday in McKinney. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at the Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Farmersville with Bruce Boys officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Princeton.
She was born in Climax on June 25, 1913 to Cicero and Nancy Morrow Gray. She married Jesse Paul Rickman. Mrs. Rickman was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce L. Steitzer of Galveston; a sister, Maple Dunn of Princeton; a brother, Wilber Gray of Dallas; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Edward Taylor
Edward Gordon Taylor of Greenville died Monday at Park Haven Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony LaPorte and Don Strudwick officiating.
Son of Homer Taylor and Bertha Busby Taylor, he was born Oct. 19, 1918 in Greenville. He and Jean Lilly were married May 30, 1950 in Wichita Falls. He served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Taylor worked as an aircraft electrician at E-Systems.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; a son, Robert McCormick of Dallas; a daughter, Charlotte Stephens of Garland; a stepdaughter, Carol Zborek of Greenville; a niece, Carolyn Ireland of Houston; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
Bessie Minty
SULPHUR SPRINGS - Bessie "Billie" Minty, 89, of Sulphur Springs died Sunday in Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at North Hopkins Cemetery with Rev. Jackie McQueen officiating.
Mrs. Minty was born May 2, 1908, in Brown County; the daughter of Isaac David and Lula Toomer Fisher. She was married to Walter Minty on Sept. 28, 1935, in Sulphur Springs.
Surviving are two daughters, Arnita Fleet of Carrollton and Charlene Stewart of Sulphur Springs; son, Gary Minty of Rowlett; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Sears of Amarillo and Thelma Sorrells of Hereford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Tapp Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs.

Mahlon Vibbert
LEONARD - Memorial services for Mahlon Edward Vibbert, 75 of Wolfe City, aree at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Leonard with Rev. Wally Williams officiating. He died Saturday in Plano.
Mr. Vibbert was born March 3, 1922 in Walla Walla, Wash., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Vibbert. He was a civil communications engineer and was a veteran of World War II. He married Joyce Bracken on Sept. 15, 1961 in Reno, Nev. Mr. Vibbert was an Episcopalian; he was a Mason and a member of the Elks Club in Paris.
He is survived by his wife of Wolfe City; one daughter, Pam Crenshaw of Wolfe City; seven sons, Chuck Vibbert of Wolfe City, Dallas Vibbert of Plano, Gene Vibbert of Nelson, B.C. (Canada), Kevin Vibbert of Vader, Wash., Dennis Vibbert of Wolfe City, Sean Vibbert of Wolfe City, and James Vibbert of Wolfe City; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Alvrietta Wilcox
WOLFE CITY - Alvrietta Wilcox, 88, of Wolfe City died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church with Rev. David Griffin and Rev. Evert Springfield officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 30, 1908 in Tupelo, Miss., to James L. Thornton and Sarah Angie Senters Thornton. She married Lloyd T. Wilcox on Sept. 4, 1927 in Hickory Creek. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilcox was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wolfe City.
Survivors include her husband of Wolfe City; one son, Dwight Wilcox of Duncanville; two daughters, Joyce Traylor of Dallas and Kathleen Williams of Pottsboro; one sister, Eloise Turner of Garland; two brothers, Gilbert Thornton and Shelby Thornton, both of Irving; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Lloyd Alfred Wilcox and Jack Wilcox, preceded her in death.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Parilee Anderson
DENISON - Services for Parilee Crawford Anderson, 87, of Denison are at 10 a.m. Monday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Smith and Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Burial is in Sadler Cemetery. She died Saturday in Greenville.
Born in Van Alstyne on April 3, 1910, she was the daughter of Walter Franklin and Mary Lulie Holloway Crawford. She graduated from Basin Springs High School. She married Paul E. Anderson in Howe on May 15, 1927. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1990.
She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Denison where she taught Sunday school and was a Past Worthy Matron of the Lone Oak and Collinsville chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son, W. Paul Anderson of Gainesville; two daughters, Mary Frances Rabb of Point and Paulette "Polly" Bynum of Midland; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers include Don Rabb, Eric Anderson, Sean Anderson, Jeremy Smith, Justin Smith, Josh Rabb, Chris Rabb, Shane Roddy and Alford Siebman.
Visitation is scheduled from 7 until 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

DALLAS - Services for Warren V. Franks, 66, of Dallas, are at 3 p.m. today at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church in Princeton under the direction of Fielder-Baker Funeral Home with Glen Mangram officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. He died Friday in Dallas.
Born in Hickory Creek on Nov. 21, 1931, he was the son of J. W. and Ethel Thornton Franks. He married Paula Mills on Oklahoma on Nov. 24, 1970. He was a brick mason.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Franks of Dallas; a daughter, Donna Bills of Wichita Falls; sons Warren Franks of Littlefield and Troy Mills of Balch Springs; sisters, Edith Raymo of Sulpher, Okla. and Eva Bennett of Kaufman; brothers, James Franks and Joe Franks, both of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
