A memorial service for David Ross Granados, 47, of Greenville, is at 2 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kirk Jones officiating. He died Friday in Greenville.
Born in Portland, Ore. on Dec. 30, 1949, he was the son of Ross Granados and Loidena Thompson Granados. He served with the Marines and was a long-haul truck driver.
He is survived by his parents of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law: David Ross Granados Jr. and Theresa of Chicago, Ill.; and two sisters, Teresa Granados of Emory and Sandra Kay Burgener of Greenville.
Blance Iman
EMORY - Services for Blance Iman, 88, of Emory, are at 2:30 p.m. today at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev. David Diller officiating. Burial will be in Emory City Cemetery. She died Saturday in Sulphur Springs.
Born in Alba on Oct. 30, 1909, she was the daughter of J. H. and Ada Telkenper Warner. She married Ben E. Iman in Oklahoma in 1936. She was a member of United Methodist Church and was a member of Eastern Star for more than 50 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Willia Lee Ballentine of Dallas; one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband; by her parents; by a sister, Tess Ryland; by a brother, Dec Warner and by a sister, Viola Morrow.
Mrs. E. C. Moore
WOLFE CITY - Mrs. E. C. Waid Moore, 93, of Lufkin, died Thursday in Lufkin. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today at Mount Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Eldon Chester officiating.
Born in Wolfe City on May 2, 1904, she was the daughter of Walter William and Harriet Wortham Waid. She and Albert R. Moore were married in 1924. She was a housewife and a member of First United Methodist Church in Huntsville.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Gene and Dr. Thomas B. Owen of Lufkin; two sisters, Thelma Roberts of Muskogee, Okla. and Inez Hill of Houston; a brother, O.W. Waid of Norco, Calif.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three nephews and two nieces.

Orville Swindell
Services for Orville Swindell, 81, of Greenville, are at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edwin Michael officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park. He died Friday in Greenville.
Born in Hopkins County on March 10, 1916, he was the son of Raymond Swindell and Mattie Jane Follis Swindell. He retired from E-Systems after 25 years as a sheet and metal worker. He was a member of the Johnson Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by a daughter, Patricia Redding; and three brothers, R. L. Swindell of Dallas, J. D. Swindell of Greenville and Verguis Swindell of Cedar Creek Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Christopher Webster
COMMERCE - Services for Christopher Allen Webster, 23, of Commerce, are at 3 p.m. Monday at Jones-Walker & Son Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joel Arnold and Rev. Eldon Chester officiating. Burial is in Caney Cemetery in Campbell. He died Friday in Hunt County.
Born in Paris, Texas on June 24, 1974, he was the son of Charles Franklin Webster and Donna G. Robinson Webster. He was employed by Hunt County Farm Supply and was a member of Caney United Methodist Church in Campbell.
He is survived by a daughter, Alexis Marie Ontaiyabba; a son, Dustin Keith Ontaiyabba-Webster; his mother, Donna G. Webster of Commerce; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Earold and Karyna Webster of Dallas; a half-brother, Jimmy Webster of Greenville; a half-sister, Tracy Webster of Greenville; paternal grandmother, Mabel Webster of Avery; an aunt, Frances Robinson of Commerce and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Webster; a sister, Bonnie Webster and grandparents Clyde and Minnie Robinson and J. R. Webster.
Pallbearers include Mark Mauldin, Dwayne Mauldin, Bobby Mauldin, Tom Spradlin, Bobby Richardson and William Richardson.

Nina B. Jacobs
Nina B. Jacobs, 76, of Greenville died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Smith and Kerry Pool officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
She was born in Farmersville on Dec. 11, 1921, daughter of John McConnelle Johnson and Jessie Lena Hayes Johnson. She and Howard Jacobs were married June 17, 1950 in McKinney. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree n 1942 and Master of Education degree in 1958 from East Texas State University. She taught in public schools in Emory, Boles Home and retired from the Greenville Independent School District. She was also retired from East Texas State University as an adjunct professor. Mrs. Jacobs was named Teacher of the Year in the 1950s in Greenville.
She was a charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving are her husband of Greenville; a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Mike Griffey of Rowlett; grandchildren Marlena and Micah Griffey of Rowlett and a sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Donald Fisher of Frisco.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
Pallbearers will be Denny Ammons, John M. Little, Bill Baker, Bob Sims, Bill Brandon and Louis Bond. Dr. Perry Smith and Dr. William Cantrell will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church Library.

Sinclair Moon
HUGHES SPRINGS - Sinclair "St. Clair" Moon, 84, of Ore City died Tuesday in a Longview hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Grove Methodist Church in Ore City with Rev. Clayton Nesbitt officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
He was born in Marion County on Jan. 24, 1914. He was retired from Lone Star Steel. Mr. Moon was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Church. He was Worshipful Master of Masonic Lodge No. 286 for forty years.
Survivors include his wife, Erma Moon of Ore City; three sons, Otis Moon of Greenville and Billy Moon and Raymon Moon, both of Ore City; a daughter, Margaret Rockwell of Ore City; two sisters, Argie Rothwell of Los Angeles, Calif. and Erma Rambo of Marshall; 28 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Willie L. Crosby
Willie L. Crosby of Commerce died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Ladonia with Rev. C.W. Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
He was born in Ladonia on Jan. 24, 1931 to Odell and Sarah Frances Crosby. He was a farmer. Mr. Crosby was a member of Pleasant Grove CME Church.
Surviving are three sons, Rickie Hall of Commerce and Will Crosby and Derrick Crosby of Roxton; three daughters, Debra Faye Runnels of Paris and Margaret Ann Hall and Sylvia J. Crosby of Roxton; four brothers, Genois Crosby of Dallas, Lawrence Crosby of Brownwood, Billy Crosby of Ladonia and Henry Crosby of Sulphur Springs; five sisters, Carrie Hall of Dallas, Francil McMillian of Commerce and Emma Aubrey and Servetta Jackson, both of Ladonia; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Guy Pruitt, J.B. McKinney, Billy King, Willie Judkins, Marcell Wilburm, Glen Young and Johnny Brown.

Lewis Moseley
COMMERCE - Lewis Weldon "Boots" Moseley, 70, of Lone Oak died Thursday at his residence. There will be a graveside service today at 2:30 p.m. in King Cemetery in Seven Points.
Son of Henry W. Moseley and Nettie Mae Morris, he was born June 1, 1927 in Thorndale. He was a livestock dealer and a brick mason.
Surviving are three sons and their families, two sisters, two brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. today at Eubank Funeral Home in Mabank.

James Ross
CADDO MILLS - James "Jim" Franklin Ross, 86, of Rockwall died Thursday at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett. There will be a graveside service at Chisholm Cemetery at 2 p.m. today with Rev. Raymond Castile officiating.
He was born May 31, 1911 in Quinlan, son of John William Ross and Martha Jane Renshaw Ross. He married Hazel Ferguson. Mr. Ross was a farmer.
He is survived by a brother, John Henry Ross of Quinlan and a sister, Beatrice Howell of Corsicana.
His wife preceded him in death in 1991.

W. Herman Stone
WOLFE CITY -W. Herman Stone, 67, of Wolfe City died Thursday at his home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Tidwell Cemetery in Greenville.
He was born in Denton on Oct. 16, 1930, son of O.C. Stone and Eva Mae Witt Stone. He married Juanita Olena Bacon on June 30, 1954; she preceded him in death on Sept. 20, 1994. He was a carpenter.
Surviving are a daughter, Connie Sue Stone of Wolfe City; two sons, Roger Stone and William James Stone, both of Wolfe City; a brother, James Stone of Cleburne and his stepmother, Ina Stone of Sherman.

Clarence A. Turner
QUINLAN - Clarence A. Turner, 84, of Quinlan died Wednesday at County View Manor of Terrell. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Faith Baptist Church in Quinlan with Rev. Jim Gatliff officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Quinlan.
Son of Britt and Hilda McCasland Turner, he was born in Union Valley. He married Roth Ione Turner. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include a son, Mack Turner of Dekalb; two daughters, Reba Hembree of Terrell and Linda Mayberry of Quinlan; a brother, Gene Turner of Quinlan; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife on May 20, 1995; two children, Melton Turner and Vera Turner; a sister, Lola Lanier; a grandson and a great-grandson.

Patsy Morgan
Patsy Morgan of Campbell died Tuesday at her residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Jordan officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
She was born Nov. 18, 1935 in Wagner, the daughter of Leland Mackie and Ruble DeBerry Mackie. She married James F. Morgan on June 17, 1961 in Greenville. She was a graduate of Greenville High School and attended East Texas State University. Mrs. Morgan was retired from the Department of Human Services. She was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Rodney Green of Campbell; a brother, L.A. Mackie of Longview; a sister, Marie Farris of El Paso; and three grandchildren, Rustin, Tana and Samantha Green.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept, 20, 1995; her father in 1958 and her mother in 1986.
Pallbearers are John Randolph, Bill Baldwin, Varesse Self, Kenneth Burbank, Troy Parsons and Wayne Eddins.

Dan Roderick
FORT WORTH - Dan Roderick, 90, died Tuesday at a retirement center in Fort Worth. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday at Pemberton Funeral Home in Commerce with Rev. Randy Weeaks officiating. Burial is in Pecan Gap Cemetery.
He was born in Pecan Gap on Feb. 9, 1907, to John Roby and Elizabeth Hemphill Roderick. He lived most of his life in Commerce. Mr. Roderick was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. In 1989 he moved to Fort Worth to be closer to his family. He lived at Mimosa Manor in Keller until 1995 and then moved to Kent's Nursing Center in Fort Worth.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Dennie Lovell of Forth Worth; grandchildren Brenda George of Northridge, Calif., Ken Jones and wife Paula of Bellevue, and Pam Lovell of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Jessica George of El Campo and Brady and Kelli Jones of Bellevue; a brother and sister-in-law, John Paul and Imogene Roderick of Ladonia; a sister and brother-in-law, Cora and Eulen Taylor of Roswell, N.M. and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Presley Roderick, and a daughter, Betty Roderick Jones.
Pallbearers are Carl Presley, Ray Presley, Roy Presley, Billy Joe Roderick, John Dale Roderick, Lowell Roderick and Orman Roderick.

Theda Renee Wright of Greenville died Friday at a Dallas hospital. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville with Rev. M.A. Jolla officiating. Burial is in Grundy Memorial Park.
The daughter of Billy and Anna Bailey Moore, she was born Jan. 13, 1957 in Greenville. She and Thomas Wright were married Aug. 30, 1974 in Greenville. Mrs. Wright worked as a laboratory technician. She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Greenville; her mother, Anna Bailey Mosley of Greenville; a son, Thomas E. Wright Jr. of Greenville; a daughter, Takeva Wright of Greenville; a sister, Fleda Tidwell of Greenville and a stepsister, Peggy Weathersby of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her father, a sister and her grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Barrett, James Gipson, Jerry Tidwell, Preston Hawkins, Randy Jackson and Billy E. Tidwell.
