John Henslee
ATHENS, Ga - John David Henslee, 68, of Maxeys, Ga., died Thursday. Funeral servicesare at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East. Rev. Phillip Winsett and Asa Thomas will olfficiate. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Merit Cemetery in Merit.
A native of Merit, he was the son of Eula Shelton Henslee and Oswell B. Henslee. He was retired from Municipal Electrical System of Texas and was a member of Crawford Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother of Maxeys, Ga.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Almeta and Ivan Winsett of Maxeys, Mayebelle and Charles Slappy of Pinefield, La. and Beth and James Barnes of Garland; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and two close friends, Bill and Ellen Moody of Arnoldsville.
His father preceded him in death on March 21, 1973.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gilbert Underwood, Emmett Cabiness, Joe Gorman, Jimmy Coile, Oliver Stamey and Herbert Floyd.

Reubene Hicks
Mrs. Reubene of Memphis, Tenn. died Wednesday at St. Francis Nursing Home in Memphis. Graveside services are at Memoryland Memorial Park, Greenville at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rick Henslee officiating.
She was born in Henry County, Tenn. on July 1, 1915 to Marvin Taylor and Eva Hutson Taylor. She and James E. Hicks were married in Dallas on March 25, 1951. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hicks was a member of Whitestation Church of Christ in Memphis.
She is survived by a sister, Valda Wasson of Memphis, Tenn. Her husband preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1976.
Memorials may be made to Whitestation Church of Christ in Memphis.

Rev. Claude Williams
Rev. Claude J. Williams of Greenville died Feb. 28 at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. W.D. Hines officiating. Burial is in East Mount Cemetery.
Born in Gilmer on Jan. 13, 1936, he was the son of Tessie Mae Portley and Chester Williams Sr. He married Janice Lynn Talley on April 28, 1979 in Paris. He was the minister at Carter Temple CME Church.
Survivors include his wife of Greenville; his stepmother, Lois Williams of Greenville ; two sons, Michael Williams and Philip Williams, both of Greenville; six daughters, Janice M. Dennis of Antioch, Calif., Brenda Andrews, Claudene Williams, and Tammy L. Williams of Greenville, Francene Hayes of Denver, Colo. and Tammy Tiner of Emory; two brothers, Chester Williams Jr. of Greenville and Roy L. Fletcher of Cleburne; five sisters, Essie Thompson of Houston, Delvin Johnson and Evelyn Ervin of Greenville, Janice F. Fletcher of Dallas and Sharon Outland of Springfield, Va.; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Lawson, Curtis Williams, Chester Lee, Larry Jackson, Shelton Jones, Chester Dixon and Rev. Maurice Blaylock.
Visitation is from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home Chapel.
Mary Phillips Pisareff
DALLAS - Mary Frances Phillips Pisareff died Feb. 28 in Palm Beach, Fla. after a long illness. There is a memorial service at Cox Chapel, Highland Park United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial is in Greenville.
Born in Greenville on Feb. 27, 1926, she was the daughter of Mary Zienter and Frank Jefferson Phillips Jr. She was the granddaughter of Frank Jefferson Phillips Sr. for whom the old Phillips Field on Jordan Street was named and who was instrumental in building the Cotton Compress.
A graduate of Greenville High School, she graduated from Finch College in New York and attended Southern Methodist University. In 1945 she married Robert L. Pierce and moved to Dallas. In 1961 she married J. Glenn Turner of Dallas and in 1972 she moved to Palm Beach, Fla. and later married Rafael Pisareff.
She was chairperson of the Dallas Civic Opera Ball, co-chairperson of the Galaxy Ball Benefit for the Mental Health Association of Texas, chairperson of the Neiman-Marcus Fortnite Ball and a member or supporter of many charitable organizations such as the Junior Leagues of Dallas and Palm Beach, The Woman's Board of Directors of the Dallas Civic Opera, the Board of Directors of the Dallas Theatre Center, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League, The Miriam Scruggs Garden Club, The Dallas Ballet Society and the American Heart Association in Palm Beach.
A sportswoman and champion equestrian, she was a national supporter of the Tennessee Walking Horse Association.
Survivors include her husband, Rafael Pisareff of Palm Beach, Fla.; four children, Robert L. Pierce Jr. of Dallas, Thomas H. Pierce of Nashville, Tenn., Virginia Sue Pierce of Maui, Hawaii and Mary Frances Turner of Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ora Cunningham
COMMERCE - Ora Mae Cunningham, 94, of Commerce died Tuesday at her residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley McCasland, Rev. Claude Robbins and Rev. Richard Diggs officiating. Burial is in Sonora Cemetery in the Fairlie Community.
She was born in Como on Nov. 18, 1903 to John Foust and Nellie Daniels. She married Riley Robert "Buddy" Cunningham on Oct. 20, 1928 in Sulphur Bluff. She was a retired nurse's aide. Mrs. Cunningham was a member of Congregational Methodist Church in Commerce and she was a member of the Golden Girls Club.
Surviving are daughters Jo Owens of Irving and LaVern Diggs of Mount Pleasant; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband and a son, R.J. Cunningham.
Pallbearers will be Gary Owens, Rodney Owens, Philip Earl Owens, Richard Diggs Jr., Randy Cunningham and Jason Lawler.
Mrs. Bill Ferguson
LEONARD - Funeral services for Mrs. Bill Ross Ferguson, 92, of Leonard are at 2 p.m. Friday in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Leonard with Rev. Elmer Miller and Rev. Chris Cowen officiating. Burial is in the Leonard Cemetery.
She died Tuesday in the Northeast Medical Center in Bonham.
She was born June 5, 1905 in Randolph, the daughter of Nathan Young and Laura Myrtle Musser Young. She married Cara T. Ferguson on Nov. 29, 1963 in Leonard; he died Nov. 15, 1971. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Leonard and was retired as owner and operator of a grocery store and meat market.
Survivors include a son, Jack Donald Ross of Leonard; sisters Virgie Hutcherson of Trenton and Louella Eberhart of Garland; three grandsons; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Randy Ross, Ricky Ross, Robin Ross, Jack Ross, Rodney Ross, Jason Ross, Jeffrey Ross and Lance Morris.
Visitation is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Glenn Graham
COMMERCE - Glenn Lee Graham, 51, of Wolfe City died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital in Commerce. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eldon Chester and Rev. Bud Harmon officiating.
Son of Vernon Lee Scales and Lillian Juanita Graham Scales, he was born in Austin on Feb. 27, 1947. He married Peggy Jean Honeycutt on Sept. 5, 1970 in Norfolk, Va.. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving as Army Staff Sergeant. Mr. Graham was a salesman for Aztec Datacom. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife of Wolfe City; his mother, Lillian Juanita Brown of Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Christine and David Lawton of Allen and Ashley and Charlie Smith of Cumby; grandson Brandyn Lawton of Allen; and sisters, Sandra Blevins of Wolfe City and Margaret Smith of Wolfe City.
Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Winnie Howle
WINNSBORO - Winnie Howle, 85, of Winnsboro died Wednesday in a Tyler hospital. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ethridge officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Wood County.
Mrs. Howle was born Dec. 18, 1912, in Wood County; the daughter of William H. and Mattie Wilson Darby. She was married to Kyle Howle on Dec. 19, 1931, in Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jolly Club and the Pine Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Winnsboro; son and daughter-in-law, Rule and Jeannie Howle of Rowlett; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Byrd McCracken of Greenville; sisters, Jamie Milner of Winnsboro, Ida Junior of Canton and Mattie Munroe of Hendersonville; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers are Todd McCracken, Cody Darby, Harry Darby, Steve Howle, Rex Junior, Rick Howle and Bob Milner.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Claude Mack
Claude Joe Mack of Greenville died Saturday in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Elem Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Davis officiating. Burial is in Salem Cemetery in Linden.
The son of Johnnie and Elsie Harrison Mack, he was born in Linden on March 17, 1939. He married Charlene Martin in Conroe, and later married Ruth Lawson in Greenville. Mr. Mack was a construction worker. He was a member of Mount Elem Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Ronnie Joe Mack of Rusk and Robert Earl Mack and Harvey Mack, both of Jefferson; two daughters, Catherine Hines of Jefferson and Sharon Mayberry of Itasca; two brothers, John Mack of Greenville and E.L. Mack of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Dorothy Wilkerson of Sulphur Springs and Lula Bell Traylor of Conroe; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
His parents, two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.

BLUE RIDGE - Anne Elizabeth McDonald, 82, of Haltom City died Wednesday at Columbia North Hill in North Richland Hills. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Friday at the Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge.
She was born Sept. 4, 1915 in Garland, daughter of Thomas Hayes and Margaret Moore Hayes. She married Cleo McDonald in 1946. Mrs. McDonald worked as an assembler. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Anne Francis of Chico; a son, James D. Fowler of Wautaga and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Forrest S. Ross Jr. in 1952.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Blue Ridge.
Eula Money
Eula Bea Money of Mesquite, formerly of Greenville, died Wednesday at Christian Care Center of Mesquite. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Baldridge and Rev. Bob Layman officiating. Burial is in Money Cemetery.
Daughter of Andy Lytle and Serena Samples Lytle, she was born June 18, 1904 in Josephine. She and Edgar Money were married in Greenville on Jan. 19, 1921. She was a homemaker and lived in Hunt County almost all of her life. Mrs. Money was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Merrick and Leta Money and Donnie and Donna Money, all of Greenville, and Ronnie and Sharon Money of San Antonio; a daughter, Serena Compton of Mesquite; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lillie and Corky Hall of Dallas and Pat and Charles Lewis of Garland; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963; an infant son, Ray Allen Money; six sisters and four brothers.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Wiley Sagely
LEONARD - Graveside services for Wiley Sagely, 82, of Leonard, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Leonard Cemetery. He died Tuesday in the Northeast Medical Center in Bonham.
He was born Feb. 6, 1916 in Marfa, son of Robert Calvin Sagely and Minnie Vella Norwood Sagely. He was a member of the Valley Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Sagely was a farmer.
Surviving are daughters Wylene Drake and Jeanell Taylor, both of Garland, and Cynthia Sagely of Leonard; sons Donnie Sagely of Bonham and Bill Sagely of Leonard; brother Hylton Sagely of Austin; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Taylor Funeral Home in Leonard.

CARROLLTON - Janet Marie Slatter Scoggins, formerly of Greenville, died Wednesday. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church of Celeste, 207 North Fourth Street.
She is survived by sons Joel T. Griffis of Ontario, Wis. and John T. Griffis of Mesquite; her mother, Lena Slatter of Houston; her stepmother, Ora Jane Colbert of Denison; brothers Tom Slatter of Houston and Donald Colbert of Denison and five grandchildren.

Frank Suttres Jr.
Funeral services for Frank Suttres Jr. of Commerce are at 11 a.m. Friday at Griffith Chapel CME Church with Harold Pannell officiating. Burial is in Lebanon Cemetery.
He died Sunday at Presbyterial Hospital of Commerce.
He was born in Commerce on Oct. 31, 1926 to Laura Pratt Suttres and Frank Suttres Sr. He was a retired roofer. Mr. Suttres was a member of Griffith Chapel CME Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Laura Suttres, seven nieces and seven nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be Reginald Cole, Henry Relford, Nicholas Weatherall, John Adair, Quincy Robinson and Lynn Thrash.
