EMORY - Michael Todd Hass, 33, of Alba died Wednesday at his home. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory with Rev. Jim Parker and Rev. William Potts officiating. Burial is in Pilgrim Rest No. 1 Cemetery.
Born in Bonham on July 9, 1965, he was the son of Harl Dean and Virginia Rogers Hass. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Hass worked in construction. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his parents of Alba; a sister, Tracy Raymond of Quitman; grandmothers Willie Mae Hass of Mesquite and Annie Rogers of Greenville and aunts, uncles nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Scottie Lyles, Jerry Scott Adair, Brian Bradshaw, Brandon Hass, Kenny Briggs and Brett Ince. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Potts, Jon Ralph, Rusty Sherwood and Sunny Hass.

Margaret Doyle
Margaret Frances "Shug" Doyle of Farmersville died Tuesday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Butts officiating. Burial will be in Merit Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 28, 1920 in Wise County to William R. Rich and Katie Alice Foster. She married Bynum L. Doyle on Oct. 28, 1954 in Lewisville. She worked for Great Western Foods in Fort Worth for 17 years and then as a supervisor for Lance Corporation for 16 years, retiring at age 75. Mrs. Doyle was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband of Merit; a son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Loyce Allred of Wilson, Okla.; daughter and son-in-law Jo and B.E. Bantau of Merit; brother and sister-in-law Nolan and Ramona Rich of Waurika, Okla.; sister and brother-in-law- Helen and Earl Murphy of Waurika, Okla.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers are Jay Allred, Tim Shulze, David Allred, James Allred, Christian Allred and Timmy Shulze.
Robert Hodges
LADONIA - Robert Leamond Hodges, former resident of Ladonia, died Tuesday at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Ladonia with Guille Seigler and Joel Roberson officiating. Burial are in the Plano Mutual Cemetery at 2 p.m. Friday.
Born in Pine Hill, Ky. on Aug. 29, 1924, he was the son of Roland Hodges and Hanna McCown Hodges. He was a retired school custodian. Mr. Hodges had lived in McKinney the past few years and in Ladonia for 21 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He and Ada Phelps were married March 1, 1950.
Survivors include his wife of McKinney; a son, Ricky Hodges of Blue Ridge; three daughters, Teresa Hahn of Leonard, Nakita Weseman of Plano and Tyna Spurlock of Groesbeck; three brothers, James Hodges of Mabank, Bert Hodges of Canton and Billy Hodges of Fort Smith, Ark.; five sisters, Thelma Hinton of Plano, Ann Christopher of Dallas, Lillie Petty of Mabank, Ruby Laughlin of Winnsboro and Cathrine Barton of Mabank and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Willard Hodges and a sister, Freda Weems.

Christine Tripp
SURFSIDE - Funeral services for Christine Taylor Herbert Tripp of Surfside, formerly of Greenville, were Aug. 19 at Stroud Funeral Home of Clute with Gary Milbourne officiating. She died Aug. 17 at Brazosport Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 2, 1949 in Quitman, Miss. She lived in Greenville before moving to Surfside two years ago.
Survivors include her mother, Bessie Kennedy Taylor of Gonzales; daughters Jeanie Herbert Toliver of Statesville, N.C., Leigha Gay Herbert Rambo of Angleton and Audrey Marie Tripp of Huffman; five sisters, Laura Diane Stewart of Montgomery, Ala., Mary Beth Mercer and Rebecca Condel of Gonzales, Jane Kelly of Dadesville and Carla Godwin of Slocomb; four brothers, John F. Taylor and Wayne Taylor of Bridgeport, J.C. Taylor of Brandon, Miss. and Richard Taylor of Pass Christian, Miss. and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Taylor; a nephew and her grandparents.
Billy C. Deaton
Funeral services for Billy C. Deaton of Greenville are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Billy J. Deaton officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
He died Tuesday at Briarcliff Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 2, 1926 in Hunt County, he was the son of John Henry Deaton Lee Morris Deaton. He and Frances Dean Johnson were married May 5, 1969 in Durant, Okla. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Deaton was a master mechanic and he retired from E-Systems in 1988. He was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Greenville; five sons, Billy J. Deaton of Irving, Jerry Deaton of Greenville, John David Deaton of Garland, Jimmy Buchanan of Commerce and Tom Buchanan of Chandler; three daughters, Cindy Guerrero of Mansfield, Joy Denault of Garland and Kim Arredondo of Mesquite; two brothers, Raymond Deaton of Greenville and Charlie Deaton of Mesquite; a sister, Doris Coleman of Greenville; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Deaton in June 1982 and a brother, Bobby Deaton.

He was born Aug. 26, 1927 in Quinlan, the son of James Arthur Reagan and Cora Lee Green Reagan. He and Peggy Petty were married Jan. 9, 1950 in Caddo Mills. Mr. Reagan was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife of Floyd; son Lewis John Reagan Jr. of Merit; sons and daughters-in-law Rex and Sharon Reagan of Cash, Gerry and Debbie Reagan of Farmersville, Randy and Camille Reagan of Farmersville and Arthur and Stacy Reagan of Garland; daughter Donna Reagan of Floyd; daughters and sons-in-law Rhonda and Danny Noland of Greenville and Nancy and Leon McGahan of Merit; a brother, Luke Reagan of Floyd; sisters Ima Kellum of Sulphur Springs and Dollie Ann Barrett of West Tawakoni; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.

Sidney Birdsong
Retired U.S. Air Force MSgt. Sidney Leonard Birdsong, 53, of Wolfe City died Sunday at his residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with David Birdsong and John Birdsong officiating. A private family burial in Blossom is planned.
Mr. Birdsong was born May 8, 1945, in Tahoka; the son of Bulan Carl and Harriet Nash Birdsong. He married Linda Yonavich on August 29, 1968, in Dallas.
He spent a combined 21 years in the Navy and Air Force and served two years in Vietnam. He was a purchasing agent for Thomas Technology.
Mr. Birdsong trained and showed horses and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He was a Methodist.
Surviving are his wife of Wolfe City; sons, David Birdsong of Greenville and William Birdsong of Mesquite; and brothers, Bulan Birdsong of Carrollton, Carl Birdsong of Marshall., Harry Birdsong of Mabank and Tommy Birdsong of Cedar Hill.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1952 and his mother in 1948.
Pallbearers are David Birdsong, John Birdsong, B.J. Martin, Jackie Tatum, Trent Tatum and Bill Yonavich. Honorary pallbearers are Bulan Birdsong, Carl Birdsong, Harry Birdsong and Tommy Birdsong.

Martha Dunlap
Martha Jane Dunlap, 73, of Fayetteville, Ark., formerly of Greenville, died Sunday in Fayetteville. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Park Cemetery with David C. Waters officiating.
Born in Camden, Ark. on April 19, 1925, she was the daughter of Neel Dearing and Annie Lee Burns. She and Walter Edwin Dunlap were married in Greenville in 1954. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Surviving are three sons, David C. Waters of Fayetteville, Ark., Jimmy L. Waters of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Walter Neel Dunlap of Lone Oak; a brother, Neel Dearing of Greenville; a sister, Dorothy Robinson of Greenville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband on Jan. 31, 1992.
Pallbearers are Jay Hoff, Norman Brookins, Neal Dearing, Billy O'Pry, David Lemons and John Adkisson.

He was a member of Heights Baptist Church in Richardson.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Greaves; children Kenneth Greaves, Gail Bonser, Sue McCutcheon and James P. Whitten; two sisters, Ruth McGee and Oma Thomas; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Tom Hymer
LEONARD - Funeral services for Tom Hymer, 93, of Leonard are at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Leonard with Rev. Chris Cowen officiating. Burial is in the Randolph-Lindsey Cemetery in Randolph.
He died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Born June 13, 1905 he was the son of Clay Hymer and Grace Richardson Hymer. He married Ora May Hymer on Aug. 15, 1935 in Dallas; she preceded him in death on Sept. 2, 1994.
Mr. Hymer was the retired owner and operator of O.K. Feed Mill. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Leonard. He was a member of the Grove Hill Masonic Lodge of Leonard, Scottish Rite Masonic Bodies of Dallas and Hella Temple of Dallas.
Mr. Hymer served on the Leonard City Council for several years and also served as mayor. He was a past member of the Leonard Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Leonard Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by a niece, nephew and several cousins.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arbin Jones Jr.
CONROE - Arbin Wayne Jones, Jr. of Conroe died Aug. 9. Funeral services were August 13 at the Living Word Assembly of God Church with Harold Morton officiating. Burial was in County Line Cemetery.
He was born March 2, 1968 in Dallas to Wayne and Renee Jones. He was a bricklayer and was a member of Living Word Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are his parents of Conroe; three sisters, Sharon Casey, Vonda Jones and Holly Jones, all of Conroe; a brother, Jimmy Roberts of Wichita, Kansas; grandmother, Mittie Jones of Greenville; eight nieces, six nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Jody Casey, Mike Jones, Terry Jones, Mark Jones, Ronnie Jones and Kenny Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers were Rick Jones, Bryan McCasland, Kyle Mayner and Jimmy Roberts.

Mr. Cleveland was born March 17, 1921, in Omaha, Texas; the son of Edward and Lula Lovelace. He married Ruby Jean Lovelace on June 29, 1971.A retired E-Systems employee, he served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; son, Danny Lawrence of Greenville; step-sons, Rev. Le Ron Jeffrey, Tommy Jeffrey and Cleaben Covington, all of Greenville, Rev. Charles Jeffrey of Lufkin and James Fluellen of Dallas; daughter, Peggy Kidd; step-daughter, Joyce Jeffrey of McKinney; sisters, Ludie Dillahunty of Greenville and Mollie Handy of Omaha; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Lovelace Jr., and three brothers.

QUINLAN - L.A. "Ace" Russell Jr., 78, of Rockport died Friday at Aransas Pass. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at the Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Krohn officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Park.
He was born in Fort Worth on Dec. 14, 1919, son of Leslie and Jessie Rios Russell. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army-Air Force. He was a heavy equipment mechanic.
Mr. Russell was a member of Sheppard Drive Baptist Church in Euless, Quinlan Methodist and Rockport Methodist Churches. He was a member of Masonic Trestle Board Lodge 534 of Quinlan, The Scottish Rite of Dallas, AlAmin and Good Sam Travel Club and Order of the Eastern Star in Rockport.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Russell of Rockport; five sons, Tommy Russell of Bridgeport, Charles Faries of Dallas, Eddie Russell of Bridgeport, Ricky Russell of Euless and Dickie Carpenter of Irving; four daughters, Lela Wright of Rockport, Patty Mouton of Theriot, La., Beth Hughes of Fort Worth and Barbie Young of Bedford; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The son of James and Beulah Junior Young, he was born in Hunt County on Sept. 5, 1921. He was employed by Micro Products.
Survivors include his wife, Annie M. Young of Quinlan; a daughter, Rosa Honeycutt of Royse City; a sister, Iva Lee Smith of Quinlan; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Elton McCrary, Ernest McCrary, Elbert McCrary and Carl Young.

QUINLAN - Billy Joe Brown, 69, of Quinlan died Saturday at his residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Quinlan Church of Christ with Robert Jackson officiating.. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mr. Brown was born August 4, 1929, in Hunt County; the son of William P. and Willie Weatherford Brown. A carpenter, he was a U.S. Army veteran; having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are sons, Michael Brown of Wolfe City and Jason Brown of Caddo Mills; step-son, Jesse Farrar of Wolfe City; step-daughter, Becki Summers of Rockwall; brother, Donald Brown of Cumby; sisters, Evelyn Arbuckle and Shirley Phillips, both of Quinlan, and Beverly Brown of Colorado; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents.

Opal Byrom
ARCHER CITY - Opal F. Byrom, 87, of Archer City died Saturday in a Greenville nursing home. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church with Roger Deerinwater officiating. Burial is in the Archer City Cemetery.
Mrs. Byrom was born April 15, 1911, in Archer County. She was married to Cecil Byrom on May 14, 1931, in Cyril, Okla. She was a former resident of Montague County and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Archer City.
Surviving are sons, Dale Byrom of Midland and Cecil Byrom of Greenville; daughter, Paula Gilliland of Keyes, Okla.; sister, Myrtle Trent of Petrolia; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 8, 1987, and a grandson, Dennis Byrom on Jan. 21, 1982.
