Juanita Timberlake Freeman, 85, died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Westview United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynn Vowell officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Cemetery.
Born Dec. 1, 1912 in Hunt County, she was the daughter of Myrtle and Charlie Timberlake. She was a lifelong resident of Hunt County. She married Clyde "Spuds" Freeman on Nov. 12, 1931. She retired from Sears, Roebuck and Co. in 1978 after 22 years of service, and she was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Billie Clyde Freeman and Bobby Charles Cormany of Greenville; two sisters, Willie Bea Lamm of Greenville and Clarice Mason of Garland; two brothers, Dale Timberlake of Royse City and Alton Timberlake Sr. of Greenville; three grandchildren, David Wayne Cormany, Dianna Sue Stull and Donna Jean Wells and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband on May 27, 1972; her parents and a sister, Rachel Timberlake Waddle.
Pallbearers are Kerry Mason, Phillip Haggard, Donny Huddleston, Jimmy Freeman, Alton Timberlake Jr. and Dr. Darrell Beauchamp.

Alice Jacks
SHERMAN - Services for Alice Lorene Jacks, 87, of Quinlan are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Quinlan with Rev. Glenn Tyson officiating. Burial is in McBride Cemetery, Quinlan.
She died Sunday at Wilson N. Jones Regional Health System.
She was born Sept. 21, 1910 to William B. and Lela Smith Carter in Quinlan. She married Berry Jacks on Aug. 26, 1927 in Cash.
Surviving are four sons, Kenneth Jacks of Mesquite, Clifford Jacks of Elmo, J.W. Jacks of Quinlan and Clovis Jacks of Austin; two daughters, Dorothy Carpenter of Whitesboro and Fern Hamm of Luella; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1985 and three sons, Shelton Jacks, Billy Jacks and Delbert W. Jacks.
Grandsons are pallbearers.
Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Dannel Funeral Home, 302 South Walnut, Sherman and at other times at J.W. Jacks' residence in Quinlan.
Cecil Kinsey
COMMERCE - Cecil R. Kinsey, 80, of Commerce, died Saturday at Rose Haven Retreat Nursing Home in Atlanta. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hollis Preas officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park, Greenville.
Born in Oakwood, Ark. on Feb. 19, 1918, he was the son of Virgil Q. Kinsey and Isabel Rowland Kinsey. He married Nadine Stringer on July 3, 1976 in Commerce. He served in the Air Force during World War II. A retired painter, he was a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Cooper.
Survivors include his wife of Commerce; daughters Clara Louise Love of Cumby and Elizabeth A. Stevens of Atlanta; a stepdaughter, Lana Kay Salyer of Irving; three brothers, Winfred Kinsey of Terrell, Vernon Kinsey of Lone Oak and Kenneth Kinsey of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Vesta Kinsey Thomas of Yakima, Wash. and Thelma Kinsey Anderson of Bryant, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Jones Kinsey, in 1969; a brother, Clyde Kinsey; two sisters, Velma Kinsey Clark and Jewell Kinsey Adams and one grandson, Tony Stevens.
Pallbearers are Jack Trentham, Mark Trentham, Terry Stevens, Jeff Kinsey, Teresa Stevens Shiffered and Pamela Kaye Trentham.

Myrtle Terry
EMORY - Myrtle Terry, 90, of Emory died Monday at Green Acres Nursing Home. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory with Rev. Rodney Williams officiating. Burial is in Smyrna Cemetery.
She was born in Rains County on May 3, 1908 to Levi and Rosie Champion Herriage. She married Oscar Daniel Harvey in Emory; he preceded her in death in 1939. She married J.M. Terry in Greenville and he preceded her in death in 1979. She worked in a restaurant, laundry and was a homemaker. Mrs. Terry was a member of Emory Baptist Church for 50 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Onetta Friday of Emory; two sisters, Vera McGuffey of California and Clara Disman of Pittsburg; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are David Harvey, Clay Harvey, Alfred Harvey, Dannie Beasley, Randy Traylor and Jimmie Jarrett. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Bill Speake, Bill Beasley and Dempsey Bullock.
Modell Denton Anderson
LONE OAK - Modell Denton Anderson, 82, of Lone Oak, died Saturday evening at her home. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lone Oak Church of Christ with William "Bill" Dial officiating. Burial will be in the Donelton Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was born May 21, 1916, in Hopkins County to Ernest and Lizzie Parker Denton. She married Ray Anderson in 1963 and he preceded her in death in 1977. She was retired as a restaurant owner and operator and was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ.
Surviving are neices Nelda Stewart of Garland and Barbara Latham of Fort Worth; nephews Roger Hubba Coker of Kaufman, Ray Denton of Albuquerque, N.M., and James Robinson of Lone Oak, and good friend Alice Hogue of Lone Oak. Also preceding her in death were a brother, Boyd Denton and two sisters, Trudy Denton and Kathren Ensiey.
Pallbearers will be Roger "Bubba" Coker, Ray Denton, Mike Earl, James L. Robinson, George Pope and Royce George. Honorary pallbearers are Don Ray Denton, Bill Rutledge, Ralph Opers, Robert Opers, Roger Latham, Riley Attaway and Bill May.

Ruth Rothring
Ruth JoAnn Rothring of Greenville died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. A memorial mass is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Williams Catholic Church with Rev. Oscar Diez officiating. Private burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
She was born on May 31, 1938, in Greenup, Ky., to Gene and Rose Bergmeyer Yount. She married Harry James Rothring on June 4, 1955, in Covington, Ky. She was a registered nurse at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville and a member of St. Williams Catholic Church.
Surviving are sons John W. Rothring of Marshall and Steven J. Rothring of Greenville; daughters Valerie Burnett of Longview and Cheryl Veal of Campbell and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 17, 1990; a son, Donald Joseph Rothring on Oc.t 24, 1989, and her parents.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home which is handling arrangements.
Johnny Moore
Johnny "Leon" Moore, 85, of Celeste died Saturday morning in a Terrell hospital. Services will be at First Baptist Church of Celeste Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. James Ralson officiating. Burial will be in Dulaney Cemetery.
He was born on Aug. 28, 1912, in Rockwall to Mr. and Mrs. John A. Moore. He married Margaret Edith Harrison on Nov. 3, 1940, in Dallas. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a retired supervisor with L.T.V. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Celeste.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Johnny L. Moore Jr., of Grand Prairie; sisters Lorene Hunt of Mt. Pleasant and Anna Lou of California; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jareld Evans, Doug Armstrong, Fred Reynolds, Collin Clark, Russell Compton and Ralph Evans Jr.

Zona Dewald
QUINLAN - Zona Jean Dewald, 63, of Quinlan died Friday at the Mesquite Medical Center. Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the IOOF Cemetery in Quinlan with Duane Wilt officiating.
Miss Dewald was born on June 12, 1935 in Quinlan, the daughter of O.C. Beheler. She was employed at Raytheon Systems Company in Greenville.
Survivors include her father, O. C. Beheler, a brother Doug Wayne Dewald, and a sister Ann Downer. She was preceded in death by a son, Antony Wayne Dewald.

Faye McKinney
EMORY - Faye McKinney, 88, of Emory died Friday at Green Acres Nursing Home. Services are at 2 p.m. today at the Emory Church of Christ with Mr. G. D. Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Lynch Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 2, 1910 in Point, the daughter of C. L. Porter and Theodosia Rabe. She married Elmer McKinney, was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. McKinney is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer McKinney.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers and George McKinney will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Virginia Sanders
HOUSTON - Virginia Houston Sanders of Houston died this week at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bellaire United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Young officiating. There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville.
She was a 30-year resident of Houston and a longtime member of Bellaire United Methodist Church. She was a teacher for 44 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Rohrer of Austin; sisters Florida Triebes of Houston and Jacqueline Reed of Ruston, La.; two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Neoma Trusty
TRENTON - Neoma Nell Trusty, 77, of Trenton died Saturday at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Monday in Pike Cemetery, Collin County, with Rev. Randy McBroom officiating.
She was born Oct. 30, 1920 in Celeste, the daughter of Ollie Hazal and Lizzie Mae Cox Hazal. She married Lewis Trusty Jan. 12, 1941 in Madill, Okla. Mrs. Trusty was a retired employee of Texas Instruments and a Methodist.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Trusty and Lewis Trusty, both of Trenton; two brothers, Joe Hazal of Trenton and Hoyt Hazal of Canton; one sister, Beulah Jachens of Savannah, Georgia; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at Earnheart Chapel in Trenton.

GRAHAM - Merle O. Laisure, 85, of Graham died Monday at Graham General Hospital. Funeral services were Thursday in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edgar Jones and Billy Dad Wadley officiating. Burial was in Pioneer Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 30, 1913 in Parsons, Kan. to Merle Oliver and Elizabeth Brown Laisure Sr. He was a veteran of World War II and a long-time resident of Graham.
He married Pauline Hannon on Oct. 1, 1967, in Durant, Okla. She preceded him in death on Aug. 5, 1974. He married Emma Williams on Feb. 20, 1975 in Graham. He was the former owner of Bill's Barbeque in Graham and was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of Graham; a stepdaughter, Lois Ainsworth of Graham; three nephews including Richard Laisure Jr. and Donald Laisure of Greenville and a niece. Among those preceding him in death was a brother, Richard Laisure of Greenville.
Archie Creech
LEONARD - Funeral services for Archie B. Creech, 76, of Leonard will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Leonard with Rev. Chris Cowen officiating. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery.
He died Thursday in the Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Son of LaFayette Creech and Ethel Rollins Creech, he was born Oct. 14, 1921. He married Theda Flanagan on June 9, 1945 in Leonard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leonard. Mr. Creech retired from E-Systems.
He is survived by his wife of Leonard; a daughter, Becky Diani of Sherman; four sons, Larry Don Creech of Leonard and Mike Creech, Jack Creech and Dwight Creech of Sherman; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Chris Davis, Sam Krider, Stuart Krider, Chris Jester, Kelly Jester, Rex Clark, Paul Holt and Teddy Thompson.

Stella Capps
LONE OAK - Stella Capps, 77, of Lone Oak died Thursday at her residence. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hall Cemetery with J.B. Northcutt officiating.
Mrs. Capps was born Aug. 17, 1921, in Dallas. She was married to Warren Capps on Aug. 30, 1973, in Dallas.
Mrs. Capps served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II. She was a retired employee of Southwestern Bell and had lived in the Lone Oak area for 25 years.
Surviving are her husband of Lone Oak; adopted son, Bobby Joe Capps of Lone Oak; stepsons, Dean Capps and Wilmer Capps of Sedan, Kans. and Robert Capps of Arkansas; daughter, Connie King of Dallas; brothers, Burton Kent and Edgar Kent of Texas; sister, Betty Kent of Dallas; and four grandchildren.

Truett Fry
BROWNWOOD- Truett Fry, 97, died August 7 in a local nursing home. Graveside services with Masonic rites were in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
He was born in Sodom and moved to Brownwood in the 1950s. He owned and operated a service station, feed store and laundromat before retiring. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

Harvey Hatley
DALLAS - Harvey Lee Hatley of Dallas died Monday in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services are at Community Bible Church, 840 West Wheatland, at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Ruben Conners Jr. officiating. Burial is in Lincoln Memorial Park, Dallas.
Born in Pittsburg on Sept. 1, 1939, he was the son of Elton Coy and Jessie Carter Hatley. He married Hazel Fisher. Mr. Hatley was a cab driver and was a member of Community Bible Church.
Surviving are his mother, Jessie Jamison of Lansing, Mich.; two sons, Tony Fisher and Ed Fisher of Dallas; a daughter, Brittany Hatley of Dallas; four sisters, Gloria Sanders, Mattie Jamison and Charlene Jamison of Lansing, Mich. and Virginia Pearl of Commerce and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
Pallbearers are Marcell Hatley, Arthur Jones, Tony Hatley, Terry Gipson, Berry Hatley and Bill Armstrong.

Robert Horne
BONHAM - Graveside services for Robert Edward "Bob" Horne, 72, of Bonham, formerly of Greenville, are at 2 p.m. today at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville with Stephen Murden officiating.
He died Wednesday at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham.
Born Jan. 1, 1926 in Worchester, Va., he was the son of William Opie Horne and Gertrude Scott Horne. He attended school in Virginia and served in the U.S. Navy with the Seabees from 1943 through 1947. He married Alma Lou Echols in 1979.
He was a machinist for E-Systems in Greenville for 32 years. Mr. Horne was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Bonham; three sons, Charles Horne and Robert Horne of Greenville and Gary Horne of Sulphur Springs; a daughter, Deborah Buchanan of Commerce; a brother, Bill Horne of West Virginia; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was born May 9, 1910 in Kimble County. She was a housewife and a Baptist.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Dixie and Terry Hunt of Greenville; a granddaughter, Stephanie Jarnigan of Atlanta, Ga.; a grandson, Tiger Hunt of Junction and one great-granddaughter, Shelby Hunt.

She was born Wednesday to Fco Javier Villalpando and Laura DeLeon Villalpando.
Survivors are her parents of Greenville; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jorge Luis DeLeon of Greenville and Mr. and Mrs. Francisco Villalpando of Mexico and great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Incencio Hererra, Mr. and Mrs. Guadolupe Villalpando and Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Torres, all of Mexico.
