WOLFE CITY - Robert (Bob) Williams, 58, of Wolfe City died Saturday at his residence. Funeral services are 2 p.m. today at West Main Church of Christ with nephews Dr. Gary Williams and Tom Williams officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Mr. Williams was born July 19, 1940, in Schleicher County, Texas; the son of J. Tom and Cecile Hyde Williams. He married Carolyn Woodruff on Oct. 2,1965, in Wolfe City.
Mr. Williams. worked for Ne-Tex Oil Mill for 25 years and was manager for the past five years. He was a long time school board member and active in civic organizations. He was a member of the West Main Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife of Wolfe City; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Russell Harris of Lockney; son, John Williams of Granbury; grandchildren, Riley and Hannah Harris of Lockney; sister, Ann Brock of Burleson; three brothers, Billy Williams of El Dorado, Frank Williams of Fort Stockton and Harold Williams of Rye, Colo.; mother-in-law, Louise Woodruff of Wolfe City and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Tom Deary, Jimmy Hester, Marvin Issacks, Mike Doyle, Larry Gardner and Johnny Rozell.
Memorials may be made to the Hunt County Visiting Nurses Association.

The son of Philip and Margaret Fredrich Hamilton, he was born March 26, 1932 in Beaver Falls, Penn. He worked in retail with truck parts.
Surviving are his wife, June Hamilton of Quinlan; his parents of Beaver Falls, Penn.; a son, William Dennis Hamilton of Little Rock, Ark.; a daughter, Kenna Sue Hamilton of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Philip S. Hamilton of Beaver Falls, Penn. and James B. Hamilton of Greensboro, N.C.; a sister, Betty Witter of Norwalk, Ohio and three grandchildren.
Joseph Schreck
TERRELL - Joseph Patrick Schreck of Quinlan died Wednesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Quinlan with Rev. Jack McCallam officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
The son of Ralph Patrick Schreck and Martha Ruth Hoewing Schreck, he was born Feb. 24, 1940. He married Barbara Smith Aug. 18, 1965.
Mr. Schreck worked for the Hunt County Sheriff's Office for three years and retired from the Dallas Police Department after 23 years. He was currently employed in the mailroom of Terrell State Hospital.
He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church of Quinlan and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife of Quinlan; his parents of Kahoka, Mo.; two sons, Ralph Schreck of Quinlan and William Schreck of Garland; a brother, Chuck Schreck of Minnesota; five sisters, Virginia Brown of Tennessee, Evelyn Steinhagen of Minnesota and Nancy Buechel, Connie Schreck and Joyce Kemp, all of Iowa and three grandchildren.

QUINLAN- Thomas Nathan Tripp, 51, of Quinlan died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. No services are planned.
He was born in Cooperstown, N.Y. to Edward and Blanche Merritt Tripp. He was a painter.
Surviving are two daughters, Julie Sue Tripp and Lisa Marie Tripp, both of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Edward J. Tripp of Cooperstown, N.Y.; two sisters, Linda Lou Pluta of Parker, Ariz. and Donna R. Nauta of Quinlan and one grandchild.

Mrs. Asbill was born June 8, 1919, in Martin Spring; the daughter of Albert Watkins and Rebecca Holmes Harvey. She was married to John T. Asbill in September, 1947, in Rockwall. She was a member of the Elm Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Emory; sons, David Asbill of Forney and Jodie Ashbill of Emory; three grandchildren and sisters, Carolyna Hinton of Sulphur Springs, Alta Mouser of Tawakoni, Juanita Vitousky of Canton, Imogene Daniel of Mesquite and Lucille McFall of Joshua.

Lynn Dean Ashley of Greenville died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. There is a graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday at Memoryland Memorial Park with Rev. Brad Strand officiating.
He was born June 20, 1956 in Greenville to C.E. and Helen Pierce Ashley. He was a retired MRI technician and a Baptist.
Surviving are his father of Greenville, S.C. and his mother of Greenville, Texas.
A brother, Ricky Clayton Ashley, preceded him in death on March 13, 1994.

Richard Callan
COMMERCE - Funeral services for Richard Callan, 75, of Sanderson are at 10 a.m. Friday at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike House officiating. Burial will be in the Cumby Cemetery.
He died Saturday in Natalia.
Born in Cumby on Nov. 29, 1922, he was the son of Walter and Ollie Lindley Callan. He attended Cumby High School and graduated from East Texas State University.
Mr. Callan taught science at Commerce High School and later became one of the first agricultural librarians for Texas A&M. He later worked for the Air Force as a base librarian in Japan, Vietnam and Germany. After retiring from his civil service career, he was a school librarian in Crystal City.
Survivors include a son, Ken Callan of Sanderson; a daughter, Randa Olea of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers Bobby Callan and James Callan, both of Cumby; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

DALLAS - Tom Summers of Richardson, formerly of Greenville, died Tuesday in Dallas. Services are at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Burial is in Restland Memorial Park.
He was born Jan. 9, 1924 in Greenville. He has been a resident of Richardson since 1966 and retired from E-Systems after 30 years' service.
Surviving are a daughter, Leigh Miller; granddaughter, Tiffany Miller and sister, Nora Jean Deaton.
His wife, Jane B. Summers, and a brother, Robert E. Summers, preceded him in death.

FARMERSVILLE - Opal Marie Talkington, 93, of Farmersville died Monday in Farmersville. Graveside services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Restland Cemetery in Dallas with Mac Lafan officiating.
Mrs. Talkington was born Feb. 9, 1905, in Pilot Point; the daughter of Ennis L. and Elizabeth Summer Sims. She was married to Paul Talkington in McKinney. She was a retired beautician.
Surviving are a son, J.T. Revis of Salida, Calif.; a daughter, Alma Tucker of Dallas and two grandchildren.

Truman Tillery
COMMERCE - Truman C. "Pud" Tillery, 83, of Cumby died Wednesday at Briarcliff Nursing Home in Greenville. Graveside services are at 9 a.m. Friday at the Leonard Cemetery in Leonard with Curtis French officiating.
Mr. Tillery was born Aug. 16, 1914, in Upshur County; the son of William and Alta Drennan Tillery. He married Ina "Pat" Patrick on July 2, 1949, in Dallas.
Mr. Tillery was a self-employed cabinet maker and wood worker. He was a U.S. Army veteran; having served in World War II and was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife of Cumby; nephews, Bob Pannkuk of Leonard, Tom Tillery of Pittsburg and Thurman Tillery of Greenville; and niece, Dean Richards of Gatesville.

Born in Ft. Wayne, Ind. on Sept. 23, 1941, he was the son of Harold and Ardis Holsworth Bolton. He was a painter.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Bolton of West Tawakoni; a son, Tim Bolton of Quinlan; four daughters, Alisha Bolton of Quinlan, Robin Cannon of Irving, Kelly Millsap of Royse City and Tina Blackwell of Seagoville; four brothers, Jim Bolton of Rockwall, Jerry Bolton of San Antonio, Tom Bolton of New York and Junior Byrd of Argyle; two sisters, Julia Bolton and Ester Byrd of Florida; nine grandchildren, Justin and Jaselyn Millsap, Cassie and Breana Cannon, Brandy, James and Larry, Bobby and Krystal Blackwell and a great-grandchild, Hayleigh Mitchell.

Dorcas McCormic
PARIS, Texas - Dorcas J. McCormic, 77, of Paris died Tuesday in McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Bill Felts officiating.
Mrs. McCormic was born March 19,1921, in Enloe; the daughter of W.W. and Pearl Pounds White. She worked for Easter Seals while living in Houston. She moved to Greenville in 1993 and to Paris in 1996.
Surviving are son, Jackie McCormic of Houston; daughters and son-in-law, Sherry McCormic of Greenville and Sandra and Guy Weber of Las Vegas, Nev. ; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; four brothers, R.L. White and Irby White, both of Houston, Hollis White of Greenville and Olen White of Arizona; and three sisters, Rowena Fackrell and Alice Hightower, both of California, and Ethel Moore of Reno.

Mrs Casper was born Jan. 30, 1919, in Kinsick, Okla.; the daughter of Henry Gordon and Dollie Lafford Vineyard. She was married to George Maddison Casper on Jan. 28, 1942, in Bonham. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Commerce.
Surviving are a son, George Casper of Ladonia, and a brother, Robert Vineyard of Wichita Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband on July 30, 1989.

Pate Garrett
QUINLAN - Pate Holton Garrett, 83, of West Tawakoni died Sunday at Park Haven Nursing Home in Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel with Father William Richard officiating. Burial is in McBride Cemetery.
Mr. Garrett was born June 28, 1915, in Kaufman County; the son of Webster and Cora Howard Garrett. He married Ida Ethel Sisk on Nov. 10, 1936. He was a retired road maintenance worker and farmer. He was the McBride Cemetery caretaker for several years.
Surviving are a son, David Garrett of Rowlett; daughters, Bettye Simmons of Quinlan and Judith Allen of Carrollton; step-daughter, Dorothy Robinson of Lone Oak; brother, John Garrett of Odessa; sister, Beatrice Robinson of Lone Oak; a granddaughter, Alisa Simmons Sanders of Greenville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1985, one brother, four sisters and one great-grandson.

Henry Hunt Sr.
Henry Grady Hunt Sr., 96, of Greenville died Monday at Greenville Health and Rehab Center. There is a memorial service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Central Christian Church with Rev. Mike Nichols officiating. The family will have a private burial.
Born in Lone Oak Jan. 1, 1902, he was the son of David Euell and Salome Hooker Hunt. He married Willie Catherine Hestand on Nov. 22, 1944 in Bonham. He was a retired insurance salesman. Mr. Hunt was a member of Central Christian Church and the Lone Oak Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; a son, Henry Grady Hunt Jr. of Houston and a grandson, Henry Grady Hunt III.
Pallbearers are Bill W. Hunt, Grady Hunt, Theron Waddle, Jack Horton Jr., David Lavon Hunt and James Nicholson. Honorary pallbearers will be Herbert C. Freeman, Howard Nichols, Raymond Stephens, Jack Horton, Joe Dale Hunt and Grady Cleveland Hunt.

James Stewart
Funeral services for James Frank Stewart, 87, of Greenville are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Williams, Rev. Gene Welborn and Rev. Wes Fawcett officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
He died Sunday at Briarcliff Health Center.
The son of Henry and Lillie Stewart, he was born Aug. 30, 1910 in Van Zandt County. He and Emily Jewell Strawn were married Dec. 24, 1932 in Greenville. He was a retired carpenter; he worked with the Dallas Independent School District for 42 years. A member of Southwood Christian Church, he was instrumental in organizing the church and served as an elder.
He is survived by two sons, Terry Stewart of Greenville and Glen Stewart of Arnold, Md. and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife on April 12, 1992 and two sisters.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Barron, Larry Strawn, David Stribling, Gary Stribling, Leon Welborn and Jerry Welborn. R.L. "Jake" Jacobs and Carl Jackson are honorary pallbearers.

Lorena Wade, 93, of Greenville died Monday at Greencrest Manor. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Delton Alexander officiating. Burial is in Wieland Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 25, 1905 in Hunt County to Pierce and Ella Crow. She married L.W. Wade in Greenville on Nov. 5, 1934. She was a lifetime member of the Wieland Church of Christ.
Survivors include stepdaughter and son-in-law, Evon and John Weatherford of Greenville; two sisters, Lois Goodwin of Fort Worth and Emma Thompson of Greenville; grandsons Phil Weatherford and Rick Weatherford; great-granddaughters Dana Shumake and Wendy Mayfield and three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 26, 1968; a son, Jimmy Wade on Aug. 5, 1955 and a brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Vera Crow.
Pallbearers are Phil Weatherford, Rick Weatherford, Doyle Woodall, Lavell Woodall and B.J. Hunt.

William Baumgardner
William B. "Pealy" Baumgardner, 81, of Cash died Friday at Columbia Hospital of Terrell. Funeral services were Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Diggs officiating. Burial was in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mr. Baumgardner was born March 11, 1916, in Pittsburg; the son of James H. Mary Ann Goen Baumgardner. He married Agnes Sullivan on March 19, 1941, in Hugo, Okla. He was a building contractor in Texas and Arkansas and a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he was an ordained deacon.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Sheryl Baumgardner of Cash; brothers, Sterling Baumgardner of Reidsville, N.C. and Jake Baumgardner of Hot Springs, Ark.; and sister, Pollye Sinclear of Roseville, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Sept. 14, 1997; and two brothers, Marvin Baumgardner and Gene Baumgardner.
Pallbearers were Bobby Baumgardner, Thurman Helton, Ken Newby, Wyman Johnson, Elmer Yates and Clarence Doolin.
