Edith Dell Ferguson, 75, of Campbell died Sunday in Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Baldridge officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ferguson was born April 18, 1923, in Mansfield, La.; the daughter of Ed and Susie Rozell McDonald. She was married to William Ferguson on Feb. 17, 1940, in Hunt County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Campbell.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Shirley Ferguson of Campbell; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Jimmy Williams of Greenville; grandsons, Jeff Ferguson of Campbell, Jarred Ferguson of Commerce; and Justin Ferguson and Aaron WIlliams, both of Greenville; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 10, 1994; sister, Faye Green; and brothers, Rex McDonald and Joe McDonald.
Grandsons are pallbearers.
Odie Pugh
FERRIS - Odie Carl Pugh, 76, of Ferris died Saturday. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at First Southern Baptist Church with Darrel Beggs and Bill Walters officiating. Burial is at 4:30 p.m. Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville.
Mr. Pugh was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Greenville; the son of Barney and Ina Pugh. He was employed by Lone Star Gas Company and retired in 1985. He was a member of the 144th Infantry of the U.S. Army; serving in Germany during World War II. He was a member of the Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife, Marie, of Ferris; his mother of Greenville; sister, Jane Sanders of Greenville; two daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Sid Laxson of Duncanville and Brenda and Ted Pearce of Huntsville; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Rebecca Pugh of Ferris; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be made to the building fund of the First Southern Baptist Church, 800 E. Eighth Street, Ferris 75125.

Billy Williams
Billy Ross Williams, 54, of Greenville, formerly of Santa Anna, died Thursday at his home. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Westview United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Vowell officiating.
He was born Feb. 17, 1944, the son of Roland Cecil Williams and Iris Dixon Williams. He married Lometa Pillow on Apr. 3, 1964 in Dallas. Mr. Williams was a computer printer repairman for Decision One in Richardson and a former employee of the Greenville Independent School District. He was a member of the Boy Scouts, Order of the Arrow and Wood Badge Beaver. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife Lometa Williams of Greenville; his mother Iris Williams Fenton of Coleman; two daughters, Tracey Lynne Powell of Colmesneil and Marla Sue Faughtenberry of Point; two sons, Douglas Ross Williams of Lone Oak and Matthew Roland Williams of Austin; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Jimmy Wayne Williams and Joe Bob Williams.
Memorials may be made to Circle 10 Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Herman Willis
CADDO MILLS - Herman D. Willis, 70, of Waco died Thursday in Waco. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today at Burns Cemetery in Trenton with Rev. Richard Nam officiating.
He was born in Deadwood, the son of Sam and Mary Ellen Walton Willis. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a sister, Leva Blount of Caddo Mills and a niece, Darlene Goforth of Fort Worth.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Alva Willis, Aubrey Willis and Milton Willis; and two sisters, Ioan Gann and Evelyn Nall.

Jean Adams
Jean Adams of Greenville died Thursday at her residence. There will be a memorial service at New Life Family Fellowship in Caddo Mills at 3 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Butch Bruton and Barbara Meisenheimer officiating. There will be a private graveside service at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Born Oct. 22, 1948 in Lubbock, she was the daughter of Franklin Evans and Dorothy Martin Evans. She married Bob Adams in Pike on Jan. 24, 1968. She graduated and received a master's degree from East Texas State University. Mrs. Adams was a computer analyst at E-Systems and was a former Greenville school teacher. She was a member of New Life Family Fellowship.
Surviving are her husband of Greenville and two brothers, Dwight Evans of Leonard and James Evans of Paris.
Pallbearers will be Mike Heine, David Hallmark, Bill Blair, Ernest Meisenheimer, Josh Rogers, Glen Steed, Kenneth Thornton and Robert Ramos.
Memorials may be made to New Life Family Fellowship Building Fund in Caddo Mills.

Jack Cason
LONE OAK - Jack Cason, 76, of Lone Oak died Thursday at his residence. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lone Oak Baptist Church with Reader Steve Maxwell officiating.
He was born Jan. 29, 1922 near Lone Oak to Doc and Margaret Ann Lax Cason. On Nov. 25, 1943 he married Phoebe Stevens in Houston.
He was a member of the Christian Science Society in Greenville.
Mr. Cason graduated from Lone Oak High School and worked as Branch Manager for Hughes Tool in Houston for 43 years, retiring to his ranching operation near Lone Oak in 1983. He was currently president of the Lone Oak Cemetery Association and vice chairman of the Lone Oak Area Civic Club's board of directors.
Survivors include his wife of Lone Oak; son Larry and daughter-in-law Linda Cason; granddaughter Sherry of Houston; daughter Montie Cason; granddaughters Laura Ruth Brady and Amanda Marie and grandson Jack Curtis; a brother, Dick Cason of Dallas and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and seven sisters.

EMORY - Jewell L. Davis, 74, of Yantis died Thursday at Home Place Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today at the Avery Cemetery in Avery with Joe Finch officiating.
Daughter of William and Mae Cook Kendrick, she was born Feb. 24, 1924 in Oklahoma. She and Duey D. Davis were married in Avery in 1941. She was a member of the Church of Christ and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of Yantis; two sons, Duey D. Davis Jr. of Yantis and Ronald R. Davis of Dodridge, Ark.; a brother, J.L. Kendrick of Irving; a sister, Dorothy Foughtenberry of Yantis; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ruby Pyron
QUINLAN - Ruby Olen Pyron, 85, of Bridgeport died Thursday. There will be a funeral service today at 3 p.m. at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray McGregor officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Park.
She was born Aug. 20, 1913 in Franklin County to Charles and Mary Kidd Pyron. She worked as an equipment operator. Mrs. Pyron was a member of the Assembly of God.
Survivors include her husband, Onia Pyron of Bridgeport; three sons, Bruce Pyron of Lake Tawakoni, David Pyron of Garland and Steve Pyron of Bridgeport; two daughters, Veneda Jackson of Lake Tawakoni and Jean Mays of Quinlan; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Pyron in 1994.
Deborah Wedeking
EMORY - Funeral services for Deborah "Debbie" Wedeking, 37, of Alba will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory with Rev. Jimmy Crump and Rev. Earl Kerns officiating. Burial will be in Colony Cemetery.
She died Friday at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.
Born in Dallas on April 14, 1961, she was the daughter of Roy and Ruby Aycock Friemel. She and Timothy Ray Wedeking were married June 26, 1982 in Kemp. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Surviving are her husband of Alba; her parents of Kemp; a son, August Sloan Wedeking of Alba; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James Aycock of Dewitt, Ark. and Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Chambers of Grand Prairie; a brother, Roy W. Friemel of Kemp and a sister, Ruby Ann Smith of Kemp.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Survivors include a son, Paul McClendon of Dallas; daughter Helen Lofties of Tyler; two sisters, Sally Turner of Greenville and Kathleen Schmitz of Dallas and two grandchildren.

SEARCY, Ark.- Eva Johnston Crowson Poynor, 87, of Searcy, Ark., formerly of Quinlan, died Thursday. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cloverdale Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. There is a graveside service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memoryland Cemetery in Greenville.
Born June 20, 1911 in Jerome Junction, Ariz., she was the daughter of William Riley Johnston and Laura Beatrice Aiken. She was a retired teacher, social worker and minister's wife. Mrs. Poynor was a member of College Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, Marvin Crowson of San Dimas, Calif.; two daughters, Margaret LaVerne Beach of Tullahoma, Tenn. and Marilee Coker of Searcy, Ark.; three stepdaughters, Mildred Bowman of Ozark, Ala. and Marilyn Fly and Martha Hodges, both of Searcy, Ark.; 24 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Athel Crowson and John A. Poynor; both are buried in Greenville.

Zula Belt, 85, of Tomball, formerly of Greenville, died Tuesday at her residence. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
She was born in Farmersville on Sept. 16, 1913 to John Twill Phillips and Laura Jane Miller Phillips. She married Herschel W. Belt on June 9, 1929 in Farmersville.
Mrs. Belt was a retired dental assistant and was past president of Texas Dental Association. She was a member of Westview United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Sandra Belt of Spring; grandchildren Scott Belt of Spring and Lisa Lupini and husband, Doug, of Lansing, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 5, 1991.

Nell Carter
LEONARD - Funeral services for Nell Carter, 80, of Irving, formerly of Leonard, are at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pike Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Bates and Rev. Norman Weatherby officiating. Burial is in Pike Cemetery.
She died Sunday at Baylor Medical Center in Irving.
Born Aug. 19, 1918 in Leonard, she was the daughter of James Calvin Smith and Nola Sarah Peak Smith. She was a member of the Pike Baptist Church and was retired from Texas Instruments.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Mintz of Irving; brothers James Smith Jr. of Leonard, Billy Smith and Ed Smith, both of Wichita Falls; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are nephews Michael Smith, Gary Smith, Steven Smith, Robert Smith, J.D. Ranly, Brent Williams, Ralph Smith and Mike Baldridge.

COMMERCE - Easter Lou Farler, 86, of Dallas, died Monday in Dallas. Funeral services are at Pemberton Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Mike House officiating. Burial is in Rosemound Cemetery.
The daughter of Newt Dotson and Clara Lou Blackwell, she was born April 7, 1912 in Leonard. She and James Kermit Farler were married on Nov. 10, 1934 in Fairlie.
A longtime resident of Commerce, she attended East Texas Normal College and taught in a two-room school in Theda. She attended First Methodist Church and was a longtime member of the Rebecca Lodge.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lou Nell and Garald Spurrier of McKinney, Mary Ellen and Buddy Van Hoose of Arlington and Janice Carol Farler of Garland; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in November 1984; a sister, Katherine Weaver and two brothers, N.E. Dotson Jr. and Jasper Dotson.
Pallbearers are Ron Howell, Justin Howell, David Payne, James Shields, James Spurrier and Bill Farler. Jeff and Drew Arnwine will serve as honorary pallbearers.

She died Sunday in Dallas.
She was born Dec. 22, 1912 in Austin to Ryland Fletcher Young and Lily Price. She married Benjamin Brookes Gilmore on March 27, 1943.
Mrs. Gilmore graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas and then attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. She worked as a secretary at the Dallas Times Herald and volunteered as a pink lady at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas for several years.
She and her husband moved to Commerce from Dallas in 1968. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Women of the Church and the Culture Club of Commerce. She and her husband owned a Mobil Service Station in Commerce for many years and she was active in the community, serving on the Hunt County Hospital board for several years. Mrs. Gilmore was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin Brooks and Juddi Gilmore Jr. of Grand Prairie and James Ryland and Mickie Gilmore of Grand Prairie; two sisters, Lillian Nichols of Wolfe City and Martha Johnson MacAlexander of Temple; a brother, James R. Young of Greenville; four granddaughters, Julie, Erin, Jaime and Sarah Gilmore of Grand Prairie; many nieces, great-nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1993.

Angus McNutt
MOUNT VERNON - Angus L. McNutt of Mount Vernon died Sunday. There is a graveside service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Campground Cemetery near Terrell.
He was born Jan. 3, 1916 in Poetry.
Mr. McNutt served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a bomber tail gunner in the Pacific. He graduated from the University of Houston and taught pharmacology at Navarro College. He owned drugstores in Wills Point, Terrell, Dallas, Irving, Grapevine and Texarkana. He was a founding director of American Bank of Commerce in Grapevine.
Mr. McNutt retired to his ranch in Mount Pleasant and later moved to Mount Vernon.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Lucille Ballard McNutt of Mount Vernon; two sons, Angus McNutt Jr. of Longview and Ralph McNutt of Daingerfield; two daughters, Rebecca Milam of Greenville and Cynthia Thompson of Mount Pleasant; a sister, Mary Long of Bedford; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Lorenza Robinson
Lorenza Robinson of Emory died Thursday at his home. Funeral services are at noon Wednesday at Prairie Grove Baptist Church in Emory with Rev. W. Byrd and Rev. R. Rollerson officiating. Burial is in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Born in Emory on Aug. 26, 1915, he was the son of Henry and Lucy Bridges Robinson. He married Nina Johnson in 1934 in Emory. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Robinson was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Prairie Grove Baptist Church, Emory, and the Emory Lodge 185, F&A.M.
Survivors include his wife of Emory; three sons, Lyndon Robinson of Dallas and Wendell Robinson and Douglas Robinson of Emory; two daughters, Jennie L. Calloway and Evelyn Corsey of Dallas; a brother, Choice Robinson of Emory; three sisters, Elma Hobbs, Gletha Davis and Modis McMillian, all of Emory and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a sister and two brothers.
Pallbearers are Robert Corsey Jr., Kevin Corsey, Elijah Calloway III, Roderick Calloway, Lyndon Keith Robinson Jr. and Steven Robinson.
