Pat Milton Wright of Greenville died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Graveside services were Monday at Salem Cemetery in Alba with Rev. Jeff Thompson officiating.
He was born Feb. 22, 1922 to Kit Bell Wright and Yency Wright. He and Geraldine Worley were married May 9, 1978 in Emory. He was a self-employed rancher. Mr. Wright was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville and a daughter, Tammie Wright of Greenville.
Peters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Jo Ellen Brumley
WOLFE CITY - Services for Jo Ellen Brumley, 85, of Wolfe City, are at 2 p.m. today at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eldon Chester officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. She died Saturday at her residence.
Born in Aberfoyle on April 17, 1913, she was the daughter of Joe E. Harwell and Emma Evans Harwell. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wolfe City.
Mrs. Brumley resided with her sister, Mrs. James McAbee and niece Jean and Tony Hart of Wolfe City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews .
Pallbearers are Bob Harwell, V. H. Turner, Howard Davis, Melvin Ruyle, Jimmie Hayden, Richard Harwell, Richard Austin and Don McAbee.
Evelyn Hume
COMMERCE - Services for Evelyn Hume, 90, of Campbell are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Commerce Church of Christ with David Gibson officiating. Burial is in Rosemound Cemetery. She died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Mrs. Hume was born Nov. 12, 1907, in Blossom; the daughter of Walter and Lola Stone Bedford. She was married to M.J. Hume on March 31, 1923, in Paris, Texas.
Mrs. Hume taught school in Cunningham in the 1920s. She was a cafeteria worker for the Commerce Independent School District from the mid-1950s to early 1960s.
Surviving are a daughter, Freida Condrey of Scurry; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Joe Richards of Campbell; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in January, 1997.
Pallbearers are Allen Richards, Mike Bedford, Kenny Condrey, Jason Maroney, Keith Richards and Gordon Tompkins.
Memorials may be made to the Medina Children's Home in Medina or Boles Children's Home in Quinlan.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home, which is in charge of the arrangements.
Rev. Mike Stark
NEW ORLEANS - Former Greenville resident Michael Don Stark of New Orleans died of a sudden illness Thursday at his home. He was 58.
Memorial services are planned for Monday at 5 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of New Orleans with a Celebration of Life from 6-8 p.m. at a New Orleans restaurant. Rev. Stark's body will be donated to science.
He was born on Nov. 24, 1939, in Dallas to Vernon and June Stark who later moved to Greenville and owned Ward Church Furniture Manufacturing Company. He attended Greenville schools, East Texas State University and Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans.
Rev. Stark founded a street ministry in New Orleans for young people that included a health clinic, Baptist mission and related services. Later he opened the Little Shop of Fantasy where he made and sold Mardi-Gras-type masks that were marketed internationally. He also helped found the Mask Masters Guild.
He was a charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Greenville where he designed costumes and the set for first Nativity that has become a holiday tradition in the community.
Surviving are his mother, June, of Point, and sister, Judy Trapp, of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his father and twin sisters.
The family asks memorials be made to the Ridgecrest Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
Homer White
Graveside services for Homer R. White, 86, of Greenville are at 2 p.m. today in Memoryland Memorial Park with Rev. Melvin Ray officiating.
Mr. White died Thursday in Park Haven Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 1, 1911, in Fannin County to Reno A. and Myrtle Smalley White. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was owner of a screen business in California before his retirement. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include six sisters, Betty Walker of Sherman, Thelma Carman of Lawton, Okla., Ann Record and Mae Burns, both of Greenville; Evelyn Cathey of Duret, Calif., Dorothy Borchardt of Ruidoso, N.M.; and a friend, Lucille McWilliams of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Ronald Delamar
CADDO MILLS - Ronald Delamar, 50, of Dallas died Sunday in Dallas. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today at Rentfrow Funeral Home Chapel in Caddo Mills with Rev. Richard Ham officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills.
He was born in Dallas on Feb. 19, 1948; the son of Linus Delamar and Katherine Morrison Delamar. He was a supervisor for Stewart and Sons Distributors.
Surviving are a son, John Delamar of Dallas; a daughter, Kimberly Delamar of Wisconsin; five brothers, Sam Delamar of Royse City, Delvin Delamar of Princeton, Bill Delamar of Sherman, Bobby Delamar of North Carolina and Charles Delamar of Colorado; a sister, Linda Tawater of Greenville and two grandchildren.
John Spradling
CADDO MILLS- Funeral services for John Lewis Spradling, 82, of Caddo Mills are at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Caddo Mills with Rev. John Young and Rev. Trey Lancaster officiating. Burial is in Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville.
The son of John Burnett Spradling and Farrie Lee Paulk Spradling, he was born April 19, 1916 in Caddo Mills. He was self-employed building furniture and custom homes. Mr. Spradling was a Baptist and a 50-year Mason with Lodge No. 335 A.F.&A.N.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Spradling of Caddo Mills; children, John Spradling of Caddo Mills, Lucy McGuire of Colorado, Barbara Sikes of Greenville, Dee Goist of Plano, Sharon White of Mabank and Allen Campbell of Mabank; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Edna Hargett
AZLE - Edna Allene Hargett, 77, of Greenville died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday at White's Funeral Homes Chapel in Azle. Burial is in Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle.
She was born May 17, 1921 in Dido. She married Jesse John Hargett on Aug. 31, 1941. Formerly of Azle, she had lived in Greenville for 12 years. Mrs. Hargett was a homemaker and was a member of Westview Methodist Church of Greenville.
Surviving are her husband of Greenville; a daughter, Darlene Grimshaw of Greenville; sisters Dorothy Gilley and Connie Whitehall of Fort Worth and Wanda Gilley of Azle; four grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
John Henley
Funeral services for John Marvin Henley of Greenville are at 2 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Burial is in Forest Park Cemetery.
He died Tuesday at Briarcliff Nursing Center.
Born Feb. 10, 1920 in Augusta, he was the son of Melvin Curtis Henley and Martha Lou Boykin Henley. He and Lorine Morgan were married in Greenville on Jan. 15, 1946.
Mr. Henley served in the U.S. Army with the 96th Infantry in the South Pacific. He was wounded in July 1945 and received the Purple Heart. He was an employee of the Transportation and Highway Department and retired in February 1985.
Mr. Henley was a Methodist and was a member of the D.A.V.
Survivors include his wife of Greenville; brothers and sisters-in-law Arthur and Mary Henley of Duncanville and Lathan and Dorothy Henley of Mustang, Okla.; sister and brother-in-law Lavada and Wesley Vaughan of Duncanville; two sisters-in-law, Marie Henley of Mesquite and Leona Henley of Greenville and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Andrew, Lenard and Elzie Henley and two sisters, Malissa McLeroy and Rayford Hendrix.
Pallbearers are Gene McLeroy, Raymond Henley, Freddie Henley, Robert Henley, Frank Morgan and Isaac Taylor.
B.T. O'Connell
FARMERSVILLE- B.T. O'Connell of Nevada died Wednesday in McKinney. There is a graveside service at Thompson Cemetery in Copeville at 10:30 a.m. Friday with Father Carl Vogel officiating.
The son of Martin and Irene Fitzgerald O'Connell, he was born Nov. 11, 1901 in Margaret. He and his wife, Gladys, were married Aug. 6, 1924 in Crowell. He was an office manager for TEC. Mr. O'Connell was a Catholic.
He is survived by a son, B.T. O'Connell Jr. of Nevada and four grandchildren.

Ruth White
FARMERSVILLE - Ruth A. White, 81, of Farmersville died Tuesday. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Farmersville with Rev. Vic Bass officiating. Burial is in Snow Hill Cemetery in Snow Hill.
Born Sept. 23, 1916 in Altoga, she was the daughter of Everett and Daisey Rich Liner. She married Garvin White on Aug. 17, 1935 in Bethlehem. A homemaker, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville.
Surviving are a son, Scotty White of Fort Worth; a sister, Mary F. Pagel of Mesquite; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mary Hinton
Mary Louise Hinton of Greenville died after a sudden illness Monday at Mercy Memorial Hospital Center in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at Memoryland Memorial Park with Herman Sargent and Ollie William Drake officiating.
Born in Ladonia on March 3, 1921, she was the daughter of James Clyde Melville and Nannie Olivia Leach. She was married to William F. Hinton on June 1, 1940 in Greenville. Mrs. Hinton was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Ann Land of Ardmore, Okla., Dolores Jean Drake of Daingerfield and Patricia Louise Haynes of Allen; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on March 9, 1998; a brother and one great-grandson.

Benny McManus
COMMERCE - Benny B. McManus, 70, of Ladonia died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home in Commerce with Dr. Bobby Tollison officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
The son of Burley C. McManus and Bertha Lee Cooper McManus, he was born Dec. 13, 1927 in Wills Point. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Mr. McManus was a retired assembler with Ford Motor Co. in Dallas. He was a member of Eden Baptist Church, Texas Farmers Bureau and United Auto Workers (UAW AFL CIO).
He is survived by a brother, Billy John McManus of Hurst, twin sister Winnie Lee Miles of Commerce and nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

LaDonia Sanders, 97, of Greenville died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wesley Chapel CME with Rev. Norris Curry and Rev. L.T. Traylor officiating. Burial is in Grundy Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 3, 1900 in Daingerfield; the daughter of Joe Key and Janie Peel Key. She was in domestic work and was a member of Wesley Chapel CME.
Surviving are a daughter, Helen Sanders of Greenville; five grandchildren, George Gotcher, Bobbie Stephenson, Michael Hendrix and Ralph Sanders of Greenville and Carolyn Sanders of Glendale, Ariz.; a niece, Junie Traylor of Greenville; two nephews, Alfred Key of Daingerfield and Bob Key of Greenville; 17 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
Great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Patty Toliver

She died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Daughter of Gressie and Carrie Lee Fields Toliver, she was born March 11, 1963 in Caddo Mills. She worked as a nurse's aide. Miss Toliver was a member of Pilgrim Tabernacle Church.
Surviving are her parents of Greenville; a son, Christopher Toliver of Greenville; two daughters, Cheryl Toliver and Leslie Ann Toliver, both of Greenville; six brothers, Andrew Toliver of Garland, Gressie Toliver Jr. of North Carolina, and Jerry Toliver, Willie Toliver, Terry Toliver and Roger Toliver, all of Greenville and six sisters, Mable Lou Brookins, Ora Lee Huey and Bobbie Toliver, all of Greenville, Irene Stevens of McKinney, Vera Mae Huey of Caddo Mills and Wanda Jean Toliver of Garland.
She was preceded in death by one brother.

Opal Warren
ATHENS - Funeral services for Opal Marie Mills Warren, 88, of Atlanta, are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Foster & Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Rev. Jack Mills and Jim Corbet officiating. Burial is in Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
She died Monday at the Golden Villa in Atlanta where she was a resident.
Born Feb. 10, 1910 in Athens, she was the daughter of Alonzo and Margie Jackson Mills. She was a former resident of Henderson County and was a member of the Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville. She graduated from Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, receiving her teacher's degree, and she taught for a short time at Pine Grove Independent School District.
At one time, Mrs. Warren worked as a clerk for the State representative from Henderson County at the State capital in Austin.
She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Onley of Greenville and Virginia Roberts of Atlanta; three sisters, Ila Heiskell of Amarillo, Ann LaGush of Lumberton and Von Ella Broussand of Orange; two brothers, Rev. Alonzo Jack Mills of Athens and Hays H. Mills of Athens; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Warren, on April 11, 1979 and two sisters, Lois Steele and Estelle McGee.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Hiram Cathey
Hiram Wilcher Cathey, 75, of Greenville died Saturday in Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Henslee officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mr. Cathey was born Oct. 30, 1922, in Caddo Mills; the son of Martin J. and Ida Mason Cathey. He married Katy Roberts on July 20, 1946, in Greenville. He was a retired assembler and installer at E-Systems and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Army veteran; having served in World War II.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; daughter, Sandy Wooldridge of Plano; brother, Paul Wayne Cathey of Mesquite; and sister, Winona Rodgers of Rockwall.
Pallbearers are R.M. York, J.H. Nix Jr., Marvin York, Ellis Saunders, Clyde Dennis and Bill Thomason. Honorary pallbearer is Bill Roberts.
Angelica Daniels
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - Angelica "Gaila" T. Daniels, 86 of Sheboygan, Wis. died Saturday morning. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon today at Holy Name Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Daniel J. Sanders. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 25, 1911 in Sheboygan to Paul and Anna Manthey Field and graduated from Sheboygan High School in 1929. She and Robert A. Daniels Sr. were married Aug. 24, 1931 in Sheboygan. They operated Daniels Food Market.
Mrs. Daniels worked for J.C. Penney Co. for over thirty years and was a credit manager when she retired in 1976.
She was a member of Holy Name Paris, St. Anne's Society, where she served as secretary for six years and St. Luke the Evangelist Unit of the Good Samaritan Guild. She had been active with the Foster Grandparent Program at James Madison School where she was honored for many years of service.
Survivors include three sons, Robert A. Daniels, Michael T. Daniels and Richard T. Daniels, all of Sheboygan, Wis.; a daughter, Bonnie Durham of Greenville; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dolores Van De Kreeke of Sheboygan, Wis., Carol Theune of Atlanta, Ga. and Gertrude Todd of Denver, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 19, 1980; a daughter, Joan Berlin and two brothers, Francis and Roland Feld.
Ethelyn Banks
Ethelyn Hall Banks, 85, of Greenville, died Saturday in Farmersville. Funeral services are at 2:30 p.m. today in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jarrod Roberts and Rev. Donny Forson officiating. Burial is in Forest Park Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 24, 1912 in Copeville to George and Ruth Hall. She was married on Oct. 27, 1938, to V. T. Banks in Copeville. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include step-son J. E. Banks, of Greenville; daughter Sharon Allen, of New York; daughter-in-law, Kathy Bullard; grandchildren Lance Banks, Paige Banks, Shelli DeGarso, and Hayley Wooten, all of Greenville; two great grandsons, also of Greenville; brother, Dr. M. S. Hall, of Van Alstyne; and sister Mary Ross, of Corpus Christi.
Pallbearers are Lance Banks, Terry Wooten, Aaron Brooks, Scott Beggs, Don Bullard, and Jim Allen. Honorary pallbearers are Horice Graham, Kenneth Almon, Joe Beggs, John Edwards, and Bill Thompson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Banks, and son, Tommy Banks.
