FARMERSVILLE - Aubrey B. Mayo, 96, of Farmersville died Friday in Plano. Funeral services are at 2:30 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Farmersville with Rev. Woody Jackson officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
The son of William Phelps Mayo and Emmer West Mayo, he was born in Venice on Dec. 27, 1902. On Nov. 7, 1926 he married Fannie Bufford Mayo in Merit. Mr. Mayo was a retired worker from Wysong Hospital. He had been a member of First Baptist Church of Farmersville since 1942.
Surviving are two daughters, Billie Hendrex of Grand Prairie and Emma Burrow of Tyler; three sons, Harold Mayo of Hamlin, Carl Mayo of Brandenton, Fla. and James Mayo of Bonham; a sister, Peggy Rogers of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Lenora Tyler
DALLAS - Lenora Sims Tyler, 92, of Merit died Thursday at her home. There will be a graveside service Monday at 10 a.m. at Dulaney Cemetery in Hunt County with John Conner officiating.
She was born in Collin County on Oct. 2, 1906.
She is survived by son Kenneth Tyler of Merit; daughters Wanda Engle of Garland and Nelda Walls of Merit; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and a brother, Jonathan Sims.
She was preceded in death by her husband, seven sisters and two grandchildren.

Clarence Broomfield
Clarence Broomfield of Greenville died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at East Side Church of Christ with Maceal Nixon officiating. Burial is in Center Point Cemetery.
Born in Douglasville on June 18, 1911, he was the son of William and Susie Blaylock Broomfield. He married Junie B. Hendrix on July 5, 1946 in Greenville.
Mr. Broomfield served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a construction worker. He was a member of East Side Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; two daughters, Ros 'Amari Nelson and Rojean Anderson, both of Dallas; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers are Henry Nash Jr., Robert Lyons, Stephen Lyons, Jacoby Lyons, Charles Williams and Daylon Carroll.

DALLAS - Mary Jane Jack Chappell, 86, died Wednesday in Garland. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lamar & Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Burial is at Oak Cliff Cemetery.
She retired from the United Postal Service. She was a member of the Eastern Star and an Honorary member of Southwest Ceramic Association.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Hamilton of Garland; a brother and sister-in-law, John Clinton and Betty Jo Jack of Greenville; sister Helen Davis of Santa Maria, Calif.; granddaughters, Kim Clark of Gordon and Kristie Biggerstaff of Richardson; great-grandsons, Matt and Chase Clark of Gordon; great-granddaughter Samantha Biggerstaff of Richardson; nieces Diane Kirby of Salinas, Calif. and Carolyn McFadden of Thousand Oaks, Calif. and nephew Charles E. Jack of Dallas.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home which is located at 800 West Jefferson in Dallas.
B.R. Fowler
Funeral services for B.R. "Blackie" Fowler of Campbell will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Campbell United Methodist Church with Rev. Joel Arnold and Rev. Gene Welbourn officiating. Burial is in Forest Park Cemetery.
Mr. Fowler died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
He was born Nov. 24, 1907 in Grand Saline, son of J.W. Fowler and Mary Campbell Fowler. He and Donna Patten Fowler were married Oct. 26, 1935 in Lone Oak.
Mr. Fowler worked in construction. He was a member of Campbell United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of Campbell; two sons and sisters-in-law, John "Pat and Nancy Fowler of Dallas and Mike and Carol Fowler of Campbell; a stepdaughter, Margie Moore of Irving and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Fowler; two sisters, Ruby Patten and infant, Birdie May Fowler.

Rex Johnson
CADDO MILLS - Rex G. "Jerry" Johnson, 71, of Dallas, died Wednesday. There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills.
Mr. Johnson was born Nov. 29, 1927 in Caddo Mills, son of Rex and Jo Smith Johnson. He married Peggy Callaway in Dallas on March 19, 1949. Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He retired as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are two sons, Jim and Kerry Johnson of Dallas; a brother, Joe Carroll Johnson of Caddo Mills; a sister, Paul Greener of San Clemente, Calif. and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer; his wife; a brother, Bobby; a sister, Glenna Locken and his parents.

Beverly Killgore
Beverly Jean Hayes Killgore, 52, of Cumby, died Wednesday at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Gregory officiating. Burial is in Shiloh Cemetery.
The daughter of Richard Adair and Dorothy Nell Lowery, she was born Jan. 16, 1947 in Greenville. She was married to Glynn Killgore on Oct. 29, 1998 in Rockwall. Mrs. Killgore was a hairdresser.
She is survived by her husband of Cumby; four sons, Daniel Hayes Jr. and Zachary Hayes of Royse City, Robert Killgore of Little Rock and Faron Killgore of Irving; three daughters, Rhonda Anderson of Rockwall, Robin Boyd of Conway, Ark. and Kimberly Killgore of Mesquite; a sister, Susan Grant of Royse City; 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Pallbearers are Les Mages, Jim Francis, Jeff Mazell, Matt Brennan, Robert Stephen and Cary McWhorter.

TERRELL - LuVada Welch Lawrence, 49, of Terrell died Tuesday. No services are planned.
She was born Dec. 12, 1949 in Canadian.
She is survived by her husband, Grady Lawrence of Terrell; mother, Charity Childress of Terrell; children Patrick Beck of Terrell, Wendy Beck and Wesley Beck of McKinney; brothers Luther Welch of Las Vegas, Nev., Delmar H. Welch of Nevada and Jim Welch of Celeste; sisters, Virginia Pruitt and Nancy Wainwright of Elk City, Okla., Bobbie Brumbley of Terrell and Gladys Hutton of Pflugerville; four grandsons and three granddaughters.
Her father, Delmar C. Welch, preceded her in death.
Joe Martin
PARIS - Joe Frank Martin, 66, of Paris died Wednesday at his residence. There is a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Park United Methodist Church with Rev. Julie Halstead officiating.
The son of Lester Loren and Ethel Victoria Tate Martin, he was born May 6, 1932 in Krum. Mr. Martin was employed by E-Systems in Greenville for many years and retired as a college professor at North Harris College in Houston. He was a member of Oak Park United Methodist Church.
Mr. Martin married Judy Tiller on May 6, 1961 in Wolfe City.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Vicki Harris of St. Charles, Mo., Jana Bandy of Katy and Lindy Martin of Huffman and five grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Oak Park United Methodist Church in Paris.

Winnie Montgomery
FARMERSVILLE - Winnie Lee Montgomery, 97, of Copeville died Tuesday in Wylie. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Farmersville Church of Christ with Mac LeFan and John Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery in Copeville.
The daughter of Lewis Edwards and Littie Johnson Edwards, she was born Aug. 29, 1901 in Copeville. She married Ralph Lee Montgomery on Oct. 3, 1920 in Nevada.
Mrs. Montgomery was an Avon saleslady. She was a member of Farmersville Church of Christ for 64 years.
Surviving are daughters Billie Faye Caldwell and Cora N. Hall of Copeville, Reba Cecil of Balch Springs, Barbara A. Vickers of Garland and Patsy Kinser of Sherman; a son, Bobby Dan Montgomery of Mena, Ark.; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Susan Roberts
Susan Baker Roberts, 99, died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel. Burial is in the Caddo Mills I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Born in Kyles Ford, Tenn. on Dec. 18, 1899, she was the daughter of Thomas L. Baker and Florence Testerman Baker, the oldest of eleven children. Her family settled in Hunt County in 1912.
She married Cyrus K. Roberts, a Baptist preacher, in 1925. His 40-year pastorship took them to Campbell, Floyd, Shady Grove, Kopperal, Big Valley, Bangs, Mason, Paint Rock, Cisco, Shallowater, Lazbuddie and Port Aransas. After his retirement they returned to Hunt County.
Mrs. Roberts was presently a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Lois Roberts of Greenville; three grandchildren, Suzie Taylor Bilnoski of Baton Rouge, La., Joe Taylor of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Ben Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six great-grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy Baker Park of Ft. Worth and Venus Baker Courtney of Idalou and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971 and a daughter, Evelyn Roberts Taylor in 1984.
Hattie Watkins
GRAND PRAIRIE - Hattie "Dee" O'Dell Watkins of Grand Prairie died Tuesday. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday at David Clayton & Sons Funeral Chapel, Duncanville, with Rev. Ronnie Adams, Rev. DeWayne Finley and Dr. Jim O'Dell officiating. Burial is at 3 p.m. in Leonard Cemetery.
She was born April 13, 1908 in Celeste to William Robert and Virgie "Birgia" Kirkland O'Dell. She moved to Grand Prairie in 1942 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie.
Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Louis Wesley "Babe Watkins Jr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Wesley and Lillie Watkins; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Lou and Teddy Joe Saye; five grandchildren, Bonnie Jean Watkins, Robert Wesley Watkins Jr., Phillip Ray Watkins, Teddy "Joe" Saye Jr. and D'Anne Saye Terrill; six great-grandchildren, Reagan "Taylor" Terrill, Lauren Elizabeth Terrill, Dillon Wesley Watkins, Brody Ray Watkins, Austin Hunter Saye and Caleb Lane Terrill; one sister, Ruby Kennedy of Denver City and one sister-in-law, Mary Lea O'Dell of Corsicana.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Hugh "Penney" O'Dell, Joe Bailey O'Dell, John Thomas O'Dell and William Riley "Ham" O'Dell.

He was born July 12, 1985 in Dallas, the son of Ricky Wayne Allen and Kimberly Diane Heitman. He was an eighth grade student at Caddo Mills Middle School.
Surviving are his mother, Kim Cook of Garland; his father and stepmother, Ricky and Dawn Allen of Greenville; grandparents Richard Heitman and Diana Adkins of Missouri and Mahlon and Chris Allen of Greenville; great-grandmothers Inez Luttrell of Deport and Jean Newland of Missouri; three brothers, Ricky and Jonathan Allen of Greenville and Timothy Cook of Garland and two sisters, Brittany and Morgan Collard of Quinlan.
Raymond Demers
POINT - Graveside services for Raymond Earl Demers, 54, of Point are at 2 p.m. today at Woosley Cemetery in Point with Heide Rice officiating. He died Sunday in Tyler.
The son of Charles and Ruth Demers, he was born Jan. 11, 1945 in Boston, Mass. He worked in the office of Terry's Furniture in Emory. He was a Catholic.
He is survived by his stepmother, Irene Renee Demers of Houston; a daughter, Shaun Leigh Demers of Clarksdale, Miss.; two brothers, Albert William Demers of Houston and Norman Francis Demers of California and three sisters, Elaine Marie Wyrick of Houston and Joanna and Charlene of San Diego, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Everett Demers Jr.

Dollie Earwood
COMMERCE - Dollie Sue Earwood, 96, of Athens, formerly of Commerce, died Monday. There is a graveside service at 2 p.m. today at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Charles Strickland officiating.
The daughter of William Jasper Clayton and Mahala Fulfer, she was born Oct. 18, 1902 in Charleston. She and John T. Earwood were married Dec. 14, 1924 in the Horton Community near Commerce.
Mrs. Earwood moved from Commerce to Fort Worth in 1957 and to Athens in 1981. She was a member of the North Fort Worth Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Nadine Martin and Wanda Cato, both of Irving; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Marvin Andrews, Scott Andrews, Donald Cato, Tommy Cato, James Cato and Johnny Earwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Earwood, William Earwood and Timothy Earwood.

Lillian Henderson
COMMERCE - Lillian H. Henderson, 82, of Commerce died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jones Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bobby Tollison and Rev. Mitchell Scott officiating. Burial is in Klondike Cemetery.
Born Jan. 3, 1917 in Commerce, she was the daughter of Bert J. Jackson and Lillie Shaver Jackson. She married Hollis H. Henderson on Jan. 20, 1934 in Klondike.
Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker and worked as a nurse's aide at Wintermutes Hospital in Klondike. She was a member of Commerce First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, a member of West Delta PTA and Virgie Stokes Garden Club.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Jean and Wadie Moore of Commerce and Paula and Sherman Markman of Richmond, Va.; grandchildren Chris and Craig Henderson, Kevin and Quinn Moore and Holli Henderson Burlison; two great-grandsons, Stacey Moore and Brandon Burlison; a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Henderson of Lewisville; a brother, Bert John Jackson Jr. of Longview and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Donald Albert Henderson; five brothers and three sisters.

Trudie McFadden
COOPER - Trudie Estelle McFadden of Cooper died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital in Commerce. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Claude Sutton and James Edge officiating. Burial is in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Born in Cooper on March 5, 1910, she was the daughter of H.T. Thomas and Effie Troy Thomas. She married Troy McFadden on Oct. 23, 1928.
She was a lifelong resident of Delta County and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Vanoy McFadden of Greenville, Charles McFadden of Sasche and Jerry McFadden of Terrell; two sisters, Gladys Carrell and Marjorie Eppers, both of Cooper; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 24, 1987; a son, R.W. McFadden in 1984 and a great-grandchild, Jason Brent Enochs.

Rev. Richard Ausburn
TERRELL - Rev. Richard M. Ausburn, 88, of Terrell died Sunday in Terrell. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Elmo with Rev. Tim Mabe, Rev. Bill Coffey and Rev. Wayne Renfroe officiating. Burial is at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge.
Rev. Ausburn was born Sept. 10, 1910, in Wolfe City; the son of Horace and Gussie Wilson Ausburn. He married Eunice Burke on April 10, 1927, in Celeste.
He attended the Moody Bible Institute and the Dallas Theological Seminary and became an ordained minister. He began his ministry in 1935 at the Word Street Baptist Church, followed by the Live Oak Baptist Church, the Grace Baptist Church; all in Dallas. He continued to minister at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Elmo until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife of Terrell; son, Garrison Ausburn of Terrell; brothers, Charles Ausburn of Rockwall and Floyd Auburn of McKinney; sisters, Gladys Stapp of Leonard and Opal Latimer of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Burns.
Pallbearers are Steve Cook, Jerry White, Larry Pogue, Morris Miller, Bill Bailey and Terry Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Morris Fowler, W.B. Minton, Joe Campbell, Carl Minton, Sam O'Neal and John Holler.
