Lela Jewel Diercks, 90, of Memphis, Tenn., longtime resident of Greenville, died Jan. 19 at her residence. There is a memorial graveside service at East Mount Cemetery, at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Bob Layman officiating.
Born July 15, 1908 in Greenville, she was the daughter of William T. West and Sarah Thomason West. She married Vurnis Frazier in 1926 in Greenville; he preceded her in death in 1961. She married Fred Diercks Nov. 3, 1962 in Greenville and he preceded her in death in 1974.
Mrs. Diercks was a homemaker and a former employee of Greenville Pant Manufacturing. She was a former member of Washington Street Baptist Church and of the First Baptist Church in Greenville.
She is survived by a son, Garvis Frazier of Marion, Ill.; a nephew, Bill Hughey of Greenville; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, 11 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

WOLFE CITY - Robert M. Fisher, 77, of Marshall, Ark. died Saturday at the Little Rock V.A. hospital. There is a graveside service today at 2 p.m. at Mount Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Eldon Chester officiating.
He was born Aug. 29, 1921 in Montreal, Canada. He attended Leslie United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife; Garlene Tapp Fisher of Marshall, Ark.; a daughter, Jonnie Aimcrantz of Port Hueneme, Calif.; a sister, Mae Main of Hawaii, mother-in-law, Oma Tapp of Wolfe City and one grandchild.

Coye Hamilton
LONE OAK - Coye A. Hamilton, 96, died Sunday at Greenville Health and Rehab Center. Services are at 2 p.m. today at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Burial is in Lone Oak Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 25, 1902 in Campbell to Harmon Hamilton and Bettie Ann Patterson Hamilton. On April 3, 1926 she married Howard N. Hamilton in Houston. After graduating from high school, she attended Baylor University and East Texas State University.
Mrs. Hamilton served as secretary to the District 13 Southern Baptist Convention from 1956 to 1964 and lived in the community for 40 years.
She is survived by nieces Wanda Fisher and family of California and Jeannine Jochec and family of Houston; relatives James Patterson and family, Robert Lee Patterson and family and Patti Patterson and friends Virginia and J.B. Dooley.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 1, 1976.
Pallbearers are J.B. Dooley, Brandon Dooley, Charles Moore, Ben Dooley, Rubert Land and Robert Stokes.

QUINLAN - Mary Ellen Kirklin, 41, of Quinlan died Saturday. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial is in Lakeside Memorial Park.
The daughter of Melvin Doyle and Katherine Carolyn Weaver Collins, she was born Sept. 15, 1957 in Dallas. She worked in food service preparation.
Surviving are her mother, Carolyn James of Galveston; stepfather, Robert White; a son, David Dean Kirklin II of Quinlan; a daughter, Amber Nichole Kirklin of Quinlan; fianc* Richard Lynn Browning of Quinlan; brothers, Melvin Doyle Collins Jr. of Quinlan and Milton Duane Collins of Quinlan; sisters Doris Moore of Quinlan, Linda Lathers of Cleburne and Vicki Williams of The Colony and friends Ronnie Miller and family and Kerry and Henry Cervantes and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1966.

Magness Lakey
Funeral services for Magness Dean "Mack" Lakey of Greenville will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Rose officiating. He died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Born Sept. 18, 1936 in Windom, he was the son of Earnest Lakey and Margie May Hindsley. He retired from the U.S. Navy and served in Viet Nam. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include daughters Kelly Lakey of Dallas and Robin Lakey Torrez of Dallas; brothers Bud Lakey of Tulare, Calif. and Weldon Lakey of Greenville and sisters Mary Lou Kline of Lake Tawakoni, Patsy Jo Avery of Carson, Ruby Earl Price of Greenville and Fredna Cawley of Cooper.
His parents preceded him in death.

Billy Lynch
Billy Gene Lynch, 66, of Lone Oak died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Cook and Rev. Mark Slaughter officiating. Burial is in Tidwell Cemetery.
The son of Luther Lynch and Wanda Briggs Lynch, he was born Jan. 18, 1933 in Ozona. He and Geneva Pace were married Nov. 7, 1952 in Greenville. Mr. Lynch served in the U.S. Air Force and he was a retired postal worker. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Scott Lynch of Lone Oak; two daughters, Dana Lynch of Hoover, Ala. and Greta Lynch of Carrollton; a sister, Nell Roper of Allen; a grandson, David Lynch of Lone Oak; a niece and a nephew.
His parents preceded him in death.
Pallbearers are Orville Gentry, Rubert Land, Lindsey Hodgdon, Troy Haynes, Walter Greer and Eugene Gentry.

Rev. Richard Ausburn
TERRELL - Rev. Richard M. Ausburn, 88, of Terrell died Sunday in Terrell. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Elmo with Rev. Tim Mabe, Rev. Bill Coffey and Rev. Wayne Renfroe officiating. Burial is at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge.
Rev. Ausburn was born Sept. 10, 1910, in Wolfe City; the son of Horace and Gussie Wilson Ausburn. He married Eunice Burke on April 10, 1927, in Celeste.
He attended the Moddy Bible Institute and the Dallas Theological Seminary and became an ordained minister. He began his ministry in 1935 at the Word Street Baptist Church, followed by the Live Oak Baptist Church, the Grace Baptist Church; all in Dallas. He continued to minister at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Elmo until his retirement.
Survivng are his wife of Terrell; son, Garrison Ausburn of Terrell; brothers, Charles Ausburn of Rockwall and Floyd Auburn of McKinney; sisters, Gladys Stapp of Leonard and Opal Latimer of Greenville.
Pallbearers are Steve Cook, Jerry White, Larry Pogue, Morris Miller, Bill Bailey and Terry Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Morris Fowler, W.B. Minton, Joe Campbell, Carl Minton, Sam O'Neal and John Holler.

Charlene Veronica Brents Bryan, 79, of Quinlan died Friday in Vencor Hospital in Dallas. Memorial services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Perry officiating. There is a private burial at Hart Cemetery.
Mrs. Bryan was born August 4, 1919, in Mount Pleasant; the daughter of O.L. and Cleo Gann Brents. She was married to Vance Bryan in 1957 in New Orleans.
Surviving are sons, Vance Bryan Jr. of Frisco and Home Bryan of Quinlan; daughters, Vanessa Breland of Quinlan and Vannay McClure of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and half-sisters, Mary Sue Fulce, Katie Rosewell, June Rosewell and Gail Forsythe, all of Mount Pleasant.
She was preceded in death by her husband on March 9, 1997.

QUINLAN - Robert Davis Jr., 33, of Quinlan died Thursday in Greenville. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was born July 5, 1965, in Dallas; the son of Robert Davis Sr. and Brenda Reed Davis. He was a truck driver.
Surviving are his mother; son, Vincent Davis; daughter, Casey Davis; brother, Michael Davis; and grandmother, Laverne Davis.

Bernice Foulke
Bernice Agnes Foulke, 90, of Greenville died Sunday in the Colonial Retirement Lodge. Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cave Spring Cemetery in Alton, Mo. with Rev. Barry Pfister officiating.
Mrs. Foulke was born Feb. 7, 1908, in Myrtle, Mo.; the daughter of James Washington Sconce and Missouri Adeline Taylor. She was married to Thomas Foulke on Nov. 6, 1953, in Eminence, Mo.
Mrs. Foulke was retired from the Springfield, Mo. school system after 43 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Springfield.
Surviving are three nieces, Thela Appling of Celeste, Rhebel Bush of Greenville and Rita Hudson of Killeen; and one nephew, J.B. Davis of Killeen.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 20, 1963; and two sisters, Bess Wilson and Beatrice Davis.

Born in Atoka, Okla., on Sept. 5, 1924, she was the daughter of James and Edna Robinson Vann. She was a a member of Van Sickle Baptist Church in Cash.
She is survived by two sons, Wixie Harrison Cross Jr. of Springfield, Mo. and Emil Leon Cross of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Beverly Ann Peters of Burbank, Calif. and Carolyn Lea Halbur of Quinlan; one sister, Betty Snow of Granite, Okla.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Allen McDonald, in 1994.
George Wilson
QUINLAN - George Wilson, 89, of Terrell died Saturday in Terrell. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Smith officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was born Dec. 29, 1909, in Quinlan; the son of Alex and Ida Culbreath Wilson.
He was a retired farmer and a Master Mason and member of the Trestle Board Lodge No. 534 of Quinlan for 66 years.
Surviving are a niece, Ima Jo Britt of Terrell; brother, Merchant Wilson; and sisters, Willene Decker of Red Oak; Edna Elmore of Garden Grove, Calif. and Bonnie Hales of Quinlan.
He was preceded in death by one brother and seven sisters.
Leo Adams
EMORY - Services for Leo Adams, 87, of Emory, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory with Terry L. Potter officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Dallas. He died Friday at Rockwall Nursing Center.
Born in Rains County on July 25, 1911, he was the son of Charles C. Adams and Modena Wafer. He married Lorene McLaughlin on Sept. 21, 1939. He was a retired house painter and wallpaper specialist.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene Adams of Dallas; a son, Jerry Adams of Wylie; three daughters, Deanna Vail of Dallas, Barbara Potter of Eustace and Claudia Zollicoffer of Emory; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Willie Bostick
Mrs. Willie Mae Bostick, 86, of Greenville died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill McNatt and Rev. Tommy Weems officiating. Burial will be at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Born June 14, 1912 in Farmersville, she was the daughter of Rad C. Cantrell and Nannie Stevenson Cantrell. She married H.F. "Stick" Bostick on Sept. 3, 1949 in Rockwall. She retired as a supervisor from Shirey's with 31 years' service. Mrs. Bostick was a member of Park Street Baptist Church where she was a member of the TEL Sunday School Class.
Survivors include two daughters, Amiteen Ramm of Greenville and Donna Kay Brockway of Rockwall; a sister, Geneva Compton of Greenville; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on March 21, 1984; an infant daughter; a brother, Jack Cantrell, and two sisters, Rolene Stroup and Dorothy Oman.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
