Services for Durelle Kay McPherson, 62, of Greenville, will be at 4 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. She died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Born in Cook County, Ill., she was the daughter of James English and Catherine Peterson. She married Jack McPherson in Greenville on Sept. 1, 1956. She was a homemaker and the former manager of Hallmark Hamlet, was a charter member of Aldersgate Church and was a former member of the Standard Club.
She is survived by her husband, Jack McPherson of Greenville; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheryl K. and Kriss Ethridge of Oak Hill, Va. and Karen and Steve McBride of Commerce; a brother, James Inglish II of Houston and four grandchildren, Kristen Ethridge, Gillian Ethridge, Katherine McBride and Greggory McBride.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers include Charles Smith, Chuck Smith, Bill Smith, M. J. Hamilton, Frank Marion and John Scott.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to Aldersgate Church.
Loreta Murrell
TULIA - Loreta Murrell, 88, of Tulia died January 13. Funeral services were January 15 at the First Baptist Church. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Tulia.
She was born Sept. 8, 1910 in White Rock to Robert Lee "Bob" O'Pry and Ola Lee Shanks O'Pry. She grew up and graduated from school in White Rock and attended college in Commerce.
In 1932 she married J.B. "Slim" Murrell in Greenville and they moved to Tulia in 1937. She worked at Anthony's. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Jeff Murrell of Amarillo and Paul Murrell of Tulia; daughter Delia Lynn Langston of Plainview; two brothers, W.B. O'Pry of White Rock and Robert Lee O'Pry Jr. of Greenville; a sister, Ammie Carter of White Rock; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death her husband in 1977, a sister in 1990 and a brother in 1916.

Willie Zinanni
Willie Zinanni of Greenville, formerly of Levelland, died Wednesday in Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in St. William's Catholic Church with Msgr. John V. McCallum officiating. The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Saturday in the church, with Rev. Douglas Deshotel officiating.
Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
The son of John and Josephine Zinanni, he was born May 6, 1923, in Mingus. He married Myrtle Eichman on July 25, 1947, in Pyote. Mr. Zinanni served in the U.S. Army, 35th Infantry. He was retired and had worked for U.S. Defense in quality control.
Mr. Zinanni was a member of St. William's Catholic Church. He was a Scout master for 13 years in Levelland, and he was a Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus in Greenville.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; a son, Bill McKenzie of Hawaii; two daughters, Janice Lee of Wilson and Tinkey Mayfield of Hillsboro; a brother, Gino Zinanni of Monahans; a sister, Mary Wegenke of Mingus; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers.

Nell Erwin
COMMERCE - Nell Erwin, 91, of Commerce died Tuesday in Sulphur Springs. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Tollison officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cumby.
Born in Cumby on Aug. 10, 1907, she was the daughter of O.D. Gillis and Ollie Mahaffey, whose ranch was founded in 1873. She and C.L. Erwin were married in October 1939. She moved to Commerce from Cumby in 1939.
Mrs. Erwin received a bachelor degree in English in 1933 from East Texas State University and taught school until she married. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Rebecca Sunday School Class and the Psychology Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Holcomb of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law Mira and David Little of Dallas; granddaughter Catherine Little of Dallas; two nephews, Jack Gillis and Bobby Gillis, both of Sulphur Springs and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1964 and three brothers, A.K. Gillis, Birchie Gillis and Stanley Gillis.
Pallbearers aree Joe Fred Cox, Neal Stewart, Dr. Trezzie Pressley, James Adams, Richard Frank and Lupe Martinez.

QUINLAN - Ronald Wayne Green, 61, of West Tawakoni died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today at Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Smith officiating. Burial is in Lakeside Memorial Park.
Born July 25, 1937 in Dallas, he was the son of Jay and Mary Richardson Green. He married Emily Higgins.
Mr. Green served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a plumber and he was a member of American Legion, AmVets and V.F.W.
Surviving are his wife of West Tawakoni; two sons, Scott Green and Steven Green; a stepson, John Stevens; two stepdaughters, Jacquline Black and Tonya Smith; a brother, Joe Green; a sister, Sandy Nelson; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Robert Stewart
SPEARMAN - Robert Dwayne Stewart, 65, of Spearman died Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Patrick officiating. Burial is in Byron-Amdreta Cemetery in Cherokee, Okla. at 3:30 p.m.
He was born in Erick, Okla. on May 4, 1933. He and his wife, Wonda, were married April 22, 1963 in Newkirk, Okla.
Mr. Stewart was an aircraft mechanic; he was employed at E-Systems at one time. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and the American Legion.
Surviving are his mother, Esther Stewart, of Amarillo; his wife of Spearman; a son, Rodney Stewart of Maise, Kan.; three daughters, Pam Winters of Maise, Kan., Susann Sutherland of Andrews and Debra Winter of Haysville, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Ruth Jenkins of Spearman; three stepsons, Stan Terwort of Wichita, Kan. and Evert Terwort and Kenneth Terwort Jr., both of Plano; a sister, Virginia Dancer of Borger; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Thomas Jackson
Thomas D. Jackson, 71, of Greenville died Sunday at his residence. A memorial service is at 2 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Shinn officiating.
Mr. Jackson was born Dec. 17, 1927 in Cameron; the son of Bartow and Fannie Belle Jackson. He married Dorothy Yarbrough on Dec. 1, 1964, in Dallas.
Mr. Jackson graduated from Yoe High School in Cameron and the University of Texas. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a crew chief for cargo air crafts and participated in the Berlin Air Lift.
He was retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the Air Force Association, Experimental Aircraft Association, War Birds of America, Civil Air Patrol and the Greenville Municipal Airport Board.
Surviving are a brother, Bobby Jackson of Houston; five nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his wife on April 15, 1996.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon today at 6101 King in Greenville.
Memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society.
George Wallace
WOLFE CITY - Graveside services for George Norman Wallace, 87, of Wolfe City will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Arledge Ridge Cemetery in Bonham.
He died Monday at Smith Nursing Home in Wolfe City after a lengthy illness.
The son of Oscar Norman and Mary Elizabeth White Wallace, he was born April 26, 1911 in Brookston. He married Glenda J. Miller on Nov. 17, 1934 in Forrest Hill.
Mr. Wallace was a retired farmer and rancher. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Forrest Hill.
Surviving are a daughter, Merlene Birdwell of Bonham; four sons, Glenn Normal Wallace of Congress, Ariz., John Warren Wallace of Visialia, Calif., Floyd "Happy" Wallace of Gober and George Steven Wallace of Bonham; a brother, James Wallace of Mesquite; two sisters, Sarah Hall and Leona Moore, both of Paris; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother and three sisters.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Mamie Willis
Mamie Willis of Rowlett died Saturday at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Life Family Fellowship Church on Highway 66 in Caddo Mills with Rev. William Aims and Rev. Roy Lee Willis officiating.
The daughter of Benjamin and Mayozie Wiley Pumphery, she was born Jan. 31, 1926 in El Dorado, Ark. She married Rev. Fordie Willis in 1947 in Carbondale.
Mrs. Willis was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of Rowlett; five sons, Billy Willis, Odis Willis and Timothy Willis of Rowlett, Glenn Willis of Garland and Rev. Roy Lee Willis of Dallas; eight daughters, Dorsey Hill, Marie Duffey and Wilma Morrow of Garland, Patricia Moore of Emory, Willie Mae Rockwell of Lewisville, Jennifer Scruggs of Terrell, Diane Turner of Houston and Terri Wesley of Lubbock; three half sisters, Corine Pumphery, Pauline Broadnex and Rosie Wakins of El Dorado, Ark.; 38 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a brother and two sisters.

Maudie Franklin
EMORY - Maudie B. Franklin, 94, of Emory, died Sunday at Green Acres Nursing Home. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Bright Star Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Kerns and Rev. Robert Evans officiating. Burial will be in Turner Cemetery.
Born Oct. 11, 1904 in Rains County, she was the daughter of Laffette Murphy and Maggie Love. On May 8, 1927 she married Clyde Franklin in Rains County.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Surviving are sons Doyal Ray Franklin of Point and Louie Don Franklin of Greenville; three grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 27, 1989 and two sons, Jimmy Franklin on Sept. 10, 1977 and Horace Franklin on April 4, 1989.

Ina Roberts
WOLFE CITY - Ina Mae London Roberts, 100, of Bonham, died Sunday at Bonham Nursing Center. A graveside service is at 10 a.m. today at Arledge Ridge Cemetery in Bonham. Rev. Harold Rucker will officiate.
She was born July 5, 1898 in Portland, Fannin County, to T.L. and Lura B. Woods London. On Aug. 6, 1919 she married Lonnie Alfred Roberts in the Portland Community.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray Jack and Diana Roberts and John F. and Phyllis Roberts, all of Richardson; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ret. CMSgt. Jesse Runnels
COMMERCE - Ret. CMSgt. Jesse George Runnels, 80, of Pecan Gap died Sunday in Paris. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. D. Stanley Corcoran officiating. Burial is in Pecan Gap Cemetery.
The son of Jesse John Runnels and Stella Jamina Wilkins, he was born Oct. 25, 1918 in Forney. He married Glenna Wheeler on Oct. 28, 1943 in Cooper.
He moved to Pecan Gap in 1977, following his retirement from the Air National Guard in Dallas. He had been in the Guard for 33 years.
Ret. CMSgt. Runnels was a veteran and corporal of the United States Army and served in the 2256th Army Air Forces base unit during World War II in the Europe Theatre of Operations in North Africa and Italy. He also served in Southern France and in air combat in the Balkans.
He received one silver star, victory and good conduct medals and three overseas bars.
He attended Paris Junior College, the University of Texas in Austin and the University of Dallas in Irving. Ret. CMSgt. Runnels was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Commerce and the Knights of Columbus.
He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Air Force Association and the Air Force Sergeant's Association.
Surviving are his wife of Pecan Gap; son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Robin Runnels of Pecan Gap; son, Michael Runnels of Pecan Gap; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a nephew, Tommy Don Runnels.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Merrell Runnels in 1977.
Knights of Columbus are pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Bennett, Ron Gidney and Wade Moody.
Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
