FARMERSVILLE - James Patton "Pat" Honaker, 92, of Farmersville died Thursday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m today at the First United Methodist Church of Farmersville with Rev. Gene Gordon and Rev. Doyle Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 17, 1906 in Farmersville to John B. and Emily Burnett Honaker. He was retired from Honaker Grain. Mr. Honaker was a member of First United Methodist Church in Farmersville.
Survivors include a nephew, Jack H. Byrd of Dallas and one great-niece and one great-nephew.

CADDO MILLS - Thomas Roy Kent Jr., 67, of Caddo Mills died Thursday in Terrell. There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Saturday with Rev. R.L. Spinks officiating. Burial will be in Fredrick Memorial Cemetery.
Son of Thomas Roy Kent and Fleta Weatherman, he was born May 1, 1931 in Grandfield, Okla. He was a machinist.
Surviving are two children; a brother, Larry Kent of San Clemente, Calif. and sisters Arlene Spinks of Lake Dallas, Blanche Neal of Hemet, Calif., Nelda Young of Caddo Mills and Janice Burch of Tempe, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and a sister.

Doy Manning
Doy E. Manning, 81, of Campbell, died Wednesday at Briarcliff Health Center of Greenville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Prairie Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Valley Cemetery.
Born April 16, 1917 in Hunt County, he was the son of Everett Manning and Bessie Dooley Manning. He married Olivia Mahand on Nov. 26, 1939 in Greenville.
Mr. Manning retired from Vought in Grand Prairie after 30 years' service. He was a member and deacon of Prairie Valley Baptist Church. His hobby was gardening.
Survivors include his wife of Campbell; a daughter, Leisa Johnson of Coppell; a brother, D.L. Manning of Commerce; a sister, Lena Ratliff of Irving and three grandchildren, Miranda Harrington of Greenville and Eleisha and Olivia Johnson of Coppell.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Era Ratliff and a brother, Eric Manning.
Pallbearers will be Paul Ratliff, Richard Ratliff, Duane Ratliff, Ronald Bone, Randy Manning and Timothy Dooley.

Estil Robnett
COMMERCE - Estil L. "E.L." Robnett, 89, of Klondike died Wednesday at McCuistion Regional Medical Center in Paris. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Bryan and Glendle Rains officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Klondike.
Born in Klondike on Aug. 22, 1909, he was the son of Zeph Robnett and Betty Simmons Robnett. He married Jessie Blundell on Jan. 3, 1933 in Hugo, Okla. Mr. Robnett was a dairy farmer. He was a member of Shiloh Nazarene Church.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Sept. 28, 1992; nine brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Gary Rainey, Benton Rainey, Bryan Turner, Tim Thomas, Michael Robnett and Ray Robnett.
Katherine Abbott
Katherine Ruble Abbott, 50, of Greenville died Monday at her residence. A memorial service is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kavanaugh United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Shinn officiating.
Mrs. Abbott was born Jan. 7, 1949, in Dallas; the daughter of Warren and Elizabell Sparks Ruble. She was married to Gregg Abbott on Oct. 19, 1942, in Greenville.
A resident of Greenville for 44 years, she was a reservationist for Continental Airlines and a member of Kavanaugh United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Greenville; parents of Greenville; sons, Keith Stuart of Emblem and Jeremy Cook of Carrollton; sisters, Gail Ingram of Safford, Ariz. and Teresa Nichols, Karen Chitwood, Leslie Ramm and Shelly Childress, all of Greenville; and four grandchildren.

Agnes Camp
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Agnes Camp of Salt Lake City, Utah, formerly of Merit, died January 10. Memorial services are announced at a later date.
The daughter of John and Mignon Blackford, she was born April 11, 1898 in Deming, N.M. As the daughter of a railroad man, she lived and traveled all over the West from 1898 until 1929.
She met and married H. Bruce Camp in Pecos in 1929. He died in Merit in 1948. Mrs. Camp served as Postmaster in Merit, was a notary and also ran a grocery store and cafe in Merit.
Mrs. Camp lived in Dallas until 1994 when she moved to Salt Lake City. She was a member of the Cottonwood Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert B. and Anna Camp of Fort Worth; daughter, Lucille Liner of Dayton, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jerry Lucky of Salt Lake City; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jack Liner.
Louie Giddens
JASPER - Louie Edward Giddens, 58, of Jasper died in an automobile accident Monday near Jasper. There is a graveside service at 10 a.m. today at the Pineland Cemetery in Pineland.
Mr. Giddens was a native of Powhattan, La. He was a 1959 graduate of Pineland High School. He served as a U.S. Navy Seal.
During his employment years, he worked as a manager over tech representatives for banking equipment such as sorters and teller machines for NCR, which was later purchased by AT&T.
After retiring, Mr. Giddens moved to Jasper in 1994 from El Campo. He helped on a part-time basis at Banker Teller Systems while living in Jasper.
Surviving are his mother, Maggie Giddens of Jasper; his wife, Elaine Giddens of Jasper; daughters, Tammie Keck of Quinlan and Cathy Koon of Fredericks, Md.; brothers, Richard Giddens of Huntington and Doug Giddens of Jonesboro; sisters, Elaine Warner of Jasper, Shirley Klinehamer of Beaumont, Faye Ward of Jasper and Opal Cray of Campti, La. and two granddaughters.

Arthur P. Hall of Caddo Mills died Tuesday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Father Donald H. Dinwiddie officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
The son of Stephen Grover Hall Jr. and Faye Bowen Winberry, he was born Sept. 23, 1947 in Stamps, Ark. Mr. Hall graduated from Greenville High School. He married Roswitha "Rosy"Diedrich on March 1, 1991 in Las Vegas. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife of Caddo Mills; stepfather, Milus Bowen and mother Faye Bowen of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Dr. Steven Havard of New Haven, Conn.; stepdaughters, Vickie Borror of Caddo Mills and Tammy Salisbury of Arkansas City; stepbrother, Jerry Bowen of Tennessee; two sisters, Peggy Bales of Greenville and Debbie Couch of Magnolia, Ark.; a stepsister, Joy Chapman of Greenville; and four grandchildren, Slaton Porter Havard, Tabatha Allen, Patty Borror and T.J. Rickords;
Preceding him in death were his father; a brother, Gary Smith and a stepdaughter, Patricia.
Pallbearers are Jermy Couch, Guy Walker, Mike Jackson, Tommy Jackson, Bob Baird and Kevin Sandefer.

Eleanore Kellar
DALLAS - Funeral services for Eleanore F. Kellar of Dallas are at 3 p.m. Friday at Restland Abbey Chapel in Dallas. She died Wednesday morning.
Mrs. Kellar was born Oct. 1, 1924 in Allentown, Pa.
Surviving are children, Richard Kellar and wife, Kim, David Kellar and wife, Elizabeth, Brad Kellar and wife, Provida and Gary Kellar and wife, Sharla; a sister, Jean Thierer; a brother, Milton Focht Jr.; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and caregiver/friend Yolanda Foster.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kellar and a daughter, Laurie Kellar.

Pearl Lingo
Pearl B. Lingo of Greenville died Tuesday at Greenville Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services are Friday at 2 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Smith and Rev. Robert Baldridge officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Born in Dodson, La. on July 4, 1907, she was the daughter of Samuel Blake and Tudia Louise Womack. She and Ernest Lingo were married in Greenville in 1923.
Mrs. Lingo was a seamstress for Haggar's Slacks and also worked for A&P Grocery Store. She was a charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Ernestine Callaway of Greenville; two sisters, Rebecca Grimes of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Inez Owens of Stockton, Calif. two grandchildren, Charlotte Beavers and Lynda Kaye Brown; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 11, 1978; three brothers and seven sisters.

Elbert Mathis
Elbert Mathis, 72, of Greenville died Sunday. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday at Price Temple Church of God in Christ with Roy Price officiating. Burial is in Grundy Memorial Park.
Mr. Mathis was born Sept. 26, 1926, in Jefferson; the son of Gladys and Carey Mathis Jr. He married Shirley Gray on Feb. 9, 1994, in Rockwall. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a plumber.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; his mother of Mirmar, Fla.; daughters, Joyce Robinson, Melinda Robinson, Brenda Gray and Rachel Gray, all of Greenville; and Dana Gray of Garland; brothers, Perry Mathis of Marietta, Ga. and Grady Mathis of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Jeanette Washington of Dania, Fla. and Lawanda Thomas of Hollywood, Fla.; 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother, U.Z. Mathis; and daughter, Wendy Snow.

LEONARD - There is a mass at 8:30 a.m. today at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Bonham for Hermanegilda Martinez, 93, of Leonard. A graveside service is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today at the Leonard Cemetery.
Mrs. Martinez died Wednesday in the Northeast Medical Center in Bonham.
She was born March 13, 1905 in Minera to Francisco Martinez and Vidala Beltran Martinez. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Bonham and she was a homemaker.
Surviving are daughters Maria Macias of Leonard and Guadalupe M. Garcia of Corpus Christi; a son, Rodolfo Martinez of Garland; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

QUINLAN - Barbara Ann Roberson of Quinlan died Tuesday at Columbia Medical Center in Terrell. There is a graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday at Hooker Ridge Cemetery in Lone Oak.
The daughter of Galen and Byrde Humphreff Lair, she was born March 21, 1933 in Waco. She was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Jearl Roberson of Quinlan; two sons, Glenn Charles Roberson and James Roberson; a daughter, Christine Williams; four sisters, Dorothy Binter, Mary Lankford, Sadie Wallace and Helen Mansfield and four grandchildren.

She was born Jan. 10, 1919 in Lone Oak, daughter of Lonnie and Martha E. Hogue Hill. She was a member of Assembly of God and was a beautician.
Surviving are two sisters, Wanda Carolyn Jamison of Burkburnett and Mary Ruth Brown of Odessa and a brother, Paul David Hill of Odessa.
Hubert Sumrow
TYLER - Hubert H. "Peanuts" Sumrow, 69, of Tyler died Tuesday in a Tyler hospital. Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Lloyd James Funeral Home of Tyler with James Dill officiating. Burial is in Cathedral in the Pines.
Born June 17, 1929 in Merit, he was the son of Hubert and Bonnie Sumrow. He retired from Lance Inc. with 34 years' service.
Mr. Sumrow was a 40-year member of the American Legion Post 12 in Tyler. He was a Korean Army veteran.
Surviving are sons, Rusty Sumrow of Longview, Dennis Sumrow of Grand Prairie and Harold Ray Sumrow and Kevin Sumrow of Tyler; a daughter, Marla Prudhomme of Tyler; a sister, Rodgenell Fee of Houston; brothers, Clois Sumrow of Garland, R.G. Sumrow of Greenville and Medford Sumrow of Farmersville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.

Jo Ann Harris of Greenville died Friday at Dallas Baylor Medical Center. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Jolla officiating. Burial is in East Mount Cemetery.
Born in Greenville on June 26, 1941, she was the daughter of A.J. and Lovie Mae Jefferson Harris. She married Herbert Buchanan in Farmersville. She worked as a nurse's aide and was a member of St. John Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Rodney Blane Buchanan of Greenville; two daughters, Luthal Harris of Dallas and Vickie Buchanan of Greenville; two sisters, Lois Allen of Greenville and Linda Chatman of Houston; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
Pallbearers are Eddie Davis, Oscar Davis, Daryll Jones, Oscar Simmons, Lester Morgan and Danny Howard.

She is survived by a daughter, Martha Bloodworth of Cedar Hill; a son, Ricky Scott of Dallas; a brother, Ray Alsobrook of Cortez, Colo.; a sister, Berneice Whitney of Greenville and five grandchildren.
