LONE OAK - James "J.T." Flowers, 80, of Lone Oak died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Dave Southerland, Robert Cook and Chet House officiating. Burial is in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The son of Matthew M. Flowers and Ennis Esther Blakemore, he was born Jan. 12, 1919 in Rains County. He and Margie Chapman were married Sept. 21, 1939 in Campbell.
Mr. Flowers served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a bus driver for the Lone Oak schools, retiring after 25 years. He was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife of Lone Oak; two brothers, Burdett Flowers of Tulare, Calf. and Dale Flowers of Yosemite Park, Calif.; a sister, Matha Converse of Santa Rosa, Calif.; a niece, Martha Kyker and three cousins, Cecil Langford, Mary Ruth Mahan and Louise Patterson.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one son, James Owen Flowers.

Joyce Flowers
Joyce J. Flowers of Greenville died Saturday at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Layman and Rev. Larry Jordan officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Cemetery.
Born Feb. 3, 1932 in Higden, Ark., she was the daughter of Joe C. Rollins and Jewell Miller Rollins. She was married to Marvin P. Flowers on Dec. 24, 1953 in Heber Springs, Ark. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Flowers was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church and was involved in Fish Ministries for several years.
Surviving are her husband of Greenville; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Aimee Flowers of Mesquite; daughter and son-in-law, Tina J. and Charlie Puckett of Allen; a brother, Kenneth Rollins of Jacksonville, Ark.; two sisters, Daphine Moreland of Jacksonville, Ark. and Billie Jo Moore of Tucson, Ariz. and a grandchild, Avery Joy Flowers of Mesquite.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bob Rollins.
Pallbearers are Rusty Wilcox, Elbert Turner, Richard Hardy, Al Thomas, Neel Dearing and Taylor Green.

Curtis Samples
EL PASO - Curtis W. Samples, 76, of El Paso died Saturday at his residence. Services are at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church of El Paso under the direction of Harding-Orr-McDaniel Funeral Home.
Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Money Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mr. Samples was born August 17, 1922, to Gladdis Gardon and Curtis W. Samples Sr. He graduated from Greenville High School and was employed in the oil business.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran; having served in World War II as an air gunner.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene, of El Paso; step-son, Tony Rank of Ruidoso, N.M.; daughter, Pam Brierton of Arizona; brother, Billy Samples of San Antonio; sister, Azelle Aldridge of San Antonio; and two grandchildren, Jessica and Jennifer Brierton.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ernestine Head Samples.
William Baise
William Baise, 79, of Greenville died Saturday at Lake Point Hospital in Rowlett. Funeral services are in the Restland Memorial Chapel in Dallas at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Billy Harris officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on June 28, 1919, to William H. and Carrie Baise. He married Alta Marie Barker on January 7, 1939, in Greenville.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II and worked as a mechanic for Continental Trailways Bus Company for 30 years before retiring. He was a member of North Baptist Church in Greenville.
Survivors include his wife, of Greenville; daughter Charlotte Dowler of Greenville; sister Mae Waits of Fort Worth; brother Paul Baise of Miller Grove; grandchildren Mike Simpson, Mellanie Hargrove and Misty Patterson; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers Woodrow and Muriel Baise.

William Burnett
William H. Burnett, 81, of Greenville died Wednesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at Carter Temple Church Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Billy Burnett officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Cemetery.
He was born September 26, 1917, to Fate and Ava Burnett in Greenville. He married Dorothy Neal on May 25, 1945, in Greenville. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Carter Temple Church.
Survivors include his wife; sons Billy Burnett of Gladewater, Dennis Burnett of Inglewood, Calif., Otha Anderson of Greenville and Dewayne Reed of Las Vegas; daughters Ava Matthews, Sherry Ward and Quinta Jones of Greenville, and Estella Parks of Dallas; 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a brother and three sisters.
Pallbearers are stewards of Carter Temple Church, with grandchildren as honorary pallbearers.

FARMERSVILLE - Robert C. Coker, 73, of Farmersville died Saturday at Hinton Nursing home. Funeral services are in the Fielder-Baker Funeral Chapel in Farmersville on Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rick Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Princeton.
He was born February 8, 1926, in Wood County to Virgil and Lucy Coker. He married Edith Foley in Farmersville on July 19, 1946. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked in the maintenance department of the Farmersville Independent School District.
Surviving are his wife of Farmersville; daughter Margie Lovelady of McKinney; sons Billy Coker of Harts Bluff, Harland Coker of Farmersville, and Dean Coker of Wautaga; his mother of Farmersville; sister Francis Holland of Bryan; and 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Emma Miller
EMORY - Emma Lou Miller, 78, of Emory died Saturday at Green Acres Nursing Home in Emory. Funeral services are at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Rodney Williams officiating. Burial will be in Turrentine-Jackson Cemetery in McKinney.
She was born in Collin County on May 11, 1921, to Robert Reneau and Ollie Susan Wright. She married Oscar Rasho Miller in Oklahoma on May 25, 1949. She was a seamstress and manager of a manufacturing company until she retired, and a member of the Emory Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons Charles Recer of Emory, Michael Ray Recer of McKinney; brother Perry Reneau of Weatherford; sister Beatrice Muir of McKinney; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband on November 17, 1990.

Mildred M. Trad, 83, of Greenville died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. There will be a rosary at 7 p.m. today at St. William's Catholic Church lead by Monsignor John McCallum. Funeral services are at St. William's Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Monday with Father Oscar Diez officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
She was born July 8, 1915, in St. James, La., to Clifford and Ruby Dunks Bossier. She married Dr. George K. Trad in Dallas in 1943. She attended Baylor Nursing School, and was a retired registered nurse and retired company nurse for Lance, Inc. She was a member of St. William's Catholic Church and the Womens Altar Guild at the church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Shannon Trad of Greenville; grandchildren Spencer and Victoria Trad of Greenville; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, her parents and a sister.

HOUSTON - Former Greenville resident Terry Lee Warren, 57, died Friday in Houston. Funeral services are Monday at noon in the Restland Memorial Chapel in Dallas. Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Monday at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
He was born in Greenville on May 23, 1941. He was a local artist and an insurance marketing executive.
Survivors include his wife, Cermelita; children Teri Danette Blackburn, Sherri Bennett, Tracie Hoffman, Angela Warren and Jonas Boggess; brothers David, Michael, William and Phillip; sister Vicki Baker; and nine grandchildren.

Wilburn Bynum
TYLER - Wilburn Lynn Bynum, 57, of Tyler, died Wednesday at Hospice Home Place. There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. today at Tyler Memorial Park with Rev. Ronnie Glover officiating.
Son of Clarence Bynum and Lilly Bynum, he was born Aug. 3, 1941 in Lone Oak. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Bynum was a clerk for the Cotton Belt Railroad. He had resided in Tyler for the last 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Bynum of Tyler; two sons, Kenneth Wayne Bynum of Tyler and Kevin Lynn Bynum of Conroe; his mother of Lone Oak; two brothers, Odell Bynum of Wolfe City and Dewey Bynum of Wolfe City; two sisters, Charlotte Suits and Shelia Dickens, both of Lone Oak and two grandchildren.

Gracie McKenzie
Gracie McKenzie of Emory died Feb. 4 in a Tyler hospital. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Emory Baptist Church with Dwight Smith officiating. Burial is in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Born in Point on June 19, 1904, she was the daughter of Allen and Tishie Donnell Givens. She married Haywood Jackson in 1921 in Rains County; he preceded her in death. She married Ollie McKenzie in 1962 in Greenville; he also preceded her in death.
Mrs. McKenzie was a homemaker and a member of Jacksonville Church of Deliverance. She was one of the founders of the Jacksonville Church.
She is survived by three sons, Otha Lee Jackson and Jessie Lee Jackson of Emory and Wallace Jackson of San Antonio; four daughters, Nellie Summerfield and Helen Smith of Greenville, Betty Heard of Emory and Annie Ruth Pickrom of Houston; two stepdaughters, Sadelia Nelson and Juanita; two sisters, Elizabeth Kirby of Dallas and Earnestine Bishop of Houston and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to both her husbands, she was preceded in death by three daughters, three sons, three brothers and three sisters.

Born in Hunt County on Oct. 3, 1924, she was the daughter of Luther John Grant and Lavilla Tate Grant. She was married to W.L. Woodall on July 3, 1949 in the Dixon community.
Mrs. Woodall retired from Lance, Inc. and was a former longtime employee of Greenville Pant Manufacturing . She was a member of the Wieland Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of Greenville; two sons, Webber Woodall of Roxton and Larry Woodall of Abilene; two brothers, Arnold Grant of Lone Oak and Harold Grant of Cooper; a sister, Frances "Bo" Smith of Quinlan; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Barbara Sue Woodall; and brothers Del Roy Grant and Lavon "Fat" Grant.

The son of Walt Seed and Francis PreVett, he was born Jan. 17, 1949. He and Roxanne George were married Dec. 21, 1985 in Burbank, Calif.
Mr. Clark served in Viet Nam with the U.S. Army. He was an engineer for MCI.
Surviving are his wife of Celeste; a stepson, Dominick Ragosino of Commerce; a stepdaughter, Shahmez Ragosino of Greenville; his parents; a brother, Timothy Clark of California and a sister, Becky Camera of California.
