Former Ladonia resident Lillie Maude Sanders, 84, of Grand Prairie died Monday in a Grand Prairie care center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Timothy G. Chenault officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery.
She was born in Fannin County on Feb. 3, 1915, to William Bennett and Gertrude Templeton Sanders. She was a seamstress for Julia Noah Curtain Co. and a member of the Church of God in Greenville for 67 years.
Surviving are two brothers, Templeton Sanders of San Angelo and Albert Sanders of Katy; three sisters, Willie Dee Sale and Grand Prairie, Dixie McCoin of Houston and June Perry of Malakoff and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers W.B. Sanders, Turner Franklin Sanders, Tiny Sanders and Wallace Sanders, and sisters Delois Jenkins and Bennie Mae Oddo.
The family asks memorials be made to the Church of God or the American Cancer Society.
Robert Crouch
A private service is scheduled for Robert C. "Bob" Crouch, 57, of Greenville. Crouch died Saturday at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas.
Born in Greenville on Sept. 18, 1941, he was the son of Cliff J. Crouch and Polly Sandlin Crouch. He married Cheryl Woodard on Aug. 25, 1963 in Durant, Okla.
He was a longtime and prominent Greenville attorney and managed the Robert C. Crouch-PC law office.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; his mother Polly Crouch of Greenville; sons and daughter-in-law, Chad and Kristi Crouch of Columbia, Mo. and Christopher Crouch of San Marcos; brother, Darrell Crouch of Greenville and sister Barbara Doughty of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Jake DeBord
Services for Jake J. DeBord Jr., 74, of Greenville, were Saturday in the Myra-Wilson Chapel at the Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Bishop Joel Peal officiating. He died Wednesday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
Born in Sulphur Springs on Aug. 24, 1924, he was the son of Jake J. DeBord Sr. and Jewell Jobe DeBord. He married Lou Genia (Jean) Adair on April 12, 1968 in Durant, Okla.
Mr. DeBord was an Army veteran and served in the Phillipines in World War II. He retired from Southwestern Bell as a switchman after 38 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jay Green of Worms, Germany; daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Mike Aguirre of Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law, Jake Daniel and Kathy DeBord of Dallas; son, Bryan Beckner of East Tawakoni and a brother, Charlie Albert DeBord of Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Virginia Junell; a brother, Lowrey DeBord; a daughter, Margaret Nell DeBord; a son, David Jay DeBord; a grandson, Joseph Joshua Beckner; and a great-grandson, Alex Clancy.
Pallbearers were Daniel DeBord, Mariano Aguirre, Jaime Aguirre, Jake Charles DeBord, Burke Staes and Joshua DeBord.

'Ricky' Monroe
CADDO MILLS -John Richard "Ricky" Monroe, 46, of Dallas died Thursday in Dallas. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. today at Rentfrow Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mr. Monroe was born Oct. 2, 1952, in Dallas; the son of John T. and Lula Mae Baker Monroe. He was a dry wall contractor.
Surviving are daughter, Amy Stroney of Dallas; brothers, Ronnie Monroe and Mike Monroe, both of Royse City, and Kenny and Donny Monroe, both of Dallas; sisters, Beverly Adamas of Gun Barrel City and Sand Bushee of Irvingf; half-brother, Buddy Lock of California; half-sisters, Esther Eldridge of Fayetteville, Ark. and Wanda Tannery of Tyler; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Betty Bailey
IRVING - Services for Betty Jo Bailey, 72, of Irving, is at 2 p.m. Monday at Brown's Memorial Chapel in Irving with Rev. Joe Sid Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. She died Saturday.
Born in Floyd on Sept. 24, 1926, she was the daughter of James Fort and Lena Greenwade. She married Weldon I. Bailey in 1948. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Floyd graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce and taught in the Floyd Independent School District and she and her husband had both taught in the Detroit ISD.
She was a member of the Eighth Air Force Society and First Presbyterian Church of Irving.
Surviving are her brother, W. H. "Dub" Bailey of Dallas, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Katie Alfred, Helen Ruth Glasscock and Mildred Bracy and a brother, Bill Greenwade.
Visitation is from 5 until 7 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
Claude Boose
Graveside services for Claude L. Boose, 93, of Greenville, are at 11 a.m. Monday at Memoryland Memorial Park with Rev. Kirk Jones officiating. He died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Born in Atoka County, Okla., on Aug. 24, 1905, he was the son of Claude Lee Boose and Minnie M. Hicks. He married Ruth Baxter on June 30, 1934, in Coalgate, Okla.
Mr. Boose was a retired conductor for the Kansas City Southern Railroad. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville and was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge for more than 50 years.
Surviving are his wife, of Greenville; son and daughter-in-law, John and Debbie Boose of Greenville; daughters and son-in-law Shirleye and David McCollam of Greenville and Paula Backus of Sulphur Springs; sister Oma Boose of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren, Leslie Backus Killgore, Brenda Backus Parsell and David Byron McCollam; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Pallbearers include John Boose and Phillip Killgore.

LILLIAN - Graveside services for Betty Ellis, 72, of Lillian, are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Tidwell Cemetery in Hunt County. She died Friday in a Fort Worth hospital.
Born in Tidwell on June 30, 1926, she was the daughter of Rayford N. Smith and Bethenia Smith Lowery. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1943, where she was a drummer for the Flaming Flashes. She worked at Harris Graphics in Kennedale, retiring in 1989.
Surviving are her sons, Robert N. Coffey of Lillian and David V. Coffey of Azle; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1937; her mother, in 1987; her step-father, Coy T. Lowery in 1979; a brother, Robert B. Smith in 1978; a brother, Warren Landon Smith in 1993 and a sister, Vanita Lautz in 1995.

Erin Walker English, 91, died Thursday at Briarcliff Health Center in Greenville. Funeral services were Saturday morning at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W. Riley Hamilton officiating. Burial was in Memoryland Memorial Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 13, 1907 in Greenville; the daughter of Annie Minerva Walker. She was married to Hal Wilkerson English on April 26, 1929.
Mrs. English retired from Sears and was active in many civic organizations. She served on the Hunt County Fair Board and was a charter member of the Pot and Plant Garden Club.
She was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Anna and Joe Rutherford; daughter-in-law Betty English of Greenville; grandson Hal Buchanan of Sulphur Springs; granddaughters, Becky Williams of Wagner, Penny Arnold of California, Lisa Buchanan of Sherman, Donna Walker of Austin and Cathy English of Dallas; four great-granddaughters and six great-grandsons and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Howard Hal English and grandson Robert Edgar Buchanan.

Tom Formby
LONE OAK - Services for Tom Formby, 74, of Lone Oak, are at 2 p.m. today in the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home chapel in Sulphur Springs with Rev. Riley Hamilton officiating. Burial is in the Greenview Cemetery in Hopkins County. He died Friday at his residence.
Born in the Bonanza Community in Hopkins County on April 26, 1925, he was the son of Walter and Mattie Stevens Formby.
Mr. Formby was a member of the Baptist Church and served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was retired from Goody Products.
Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Ann Whitehead of Lone Oak; two sons, Doug Formby of Dallas and Tony Formby of Rockwall; one brother, Bill Formby of Cumby; one sister, Louise Moon of Dallas; four grandchildren, Robert Whitehead and wife Elizabeth, Cassandra Cline and husband David; Brian Whitehead and Ian Formby and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Formby and one sister, Beth Looney.

Ona Wallace

Born in Hallowell, Kan., on May 1, 1913, she was the daughter of Claude Robbins and Bessy Dollick Robbins. She married Robert Edward Wallace in California in 1945. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughters, Bettye White of Campbell, Barbara of Royse City, Frances Anderson of Willow Park and Doris Hudgens of Fort Worth; brothers Glen Robbins of Kansas and Claude Robbins of Dalton, Ala.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on March 6, 1994, her parents and a brother, Pete Robbins.

He was born in Dallas on June 23, 1962 to Leon and Mina E. Shaw Kitchens. He was a department supervisor for DEXT Company.
