Mabel Marie Sedlock, 94, of Greenville died Monday at Briarcliff Health Center. Funeral mass is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Williams Catholic Church with Father Douglas Deshotel officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Cemetery.

A Rosary service is at 7 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Gerald Fisher

EMORY - Gerald E. Fisher, 72, of Yantis died Sunday at ETMC Home Place in Tyler. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elmo Best officiating. Burial is in Emory City Cemetery.

Born Oct. 3, 1926 in Oklahoma, he was the son of Ollie Fisher and Leona Venable Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a farmer and fence builder. He was a Baptist.

Surviving are sons, Joe E. Fisher of Point, Allen Lee Lutrall of Hughes Springs, Marty W. Fisher of McKinney and Gregory Fisher of McKinney; daughters, Jackie Sue Shoulders of Murphy, Peggy Evelyn Halter of Little Rock, Ark., Debra Kay Lambert of Indianapolis, Ind. and Sarah Diane Van Horn of Emory; two brothers, Joe Dean Fisher and Everett Fisher, both of McKinney; two sisters, Ollie Ruth Teter and Betty Jean Phillips, both of McKinney; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.

Grandsons are pallbearers.

Lois Litchfield

ATHENS - Services for Lois Gertrude Litchfield, 90, of Cross Roads are at 10 a.m. today at Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Upchurch and Rev. Danny Gandy officiating. Burial is in Judson Cemetery near Cayuga.

Mrs. Litchfield died Sunday.

The daughter of Jim and Addie Duncan, she was born Sept. 2, 1908. She attended Denton University and earned her degree in teaching. She taught at Becks Chapel School for a year, worked at the Presbyterian Children's Home in Dallas and for the Cayuga School System.

She married Foster Litchfield on Oct. 27, 1934. She lived in the Cross Roads area most of her life but moved to the Guest House in Greenville in 1995 to be near family.

Mrs. Litchfield was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Surviving are sons, Royce Litchfield of Greenville and Keith Litchfield of Longview; a brother, Tucker Duncan of Big Springs and four grandchildren.

Nephews are pallbearers.

Foster & Brown Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.

Juanita Porter

COMMERCE - Juanita Porter, 89, of Commerce died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike House officiating. Burial is in Rosemound Cemetery.

Born Feb. 5, 1910 in Commerce, she was the daughter of Mitchell Thomas Moody and Martha M. Poe Moody. She married Aubrey Lee Porter on April 14, 1928 in Commerce.

Mrs. Porter was a retired seamstress and she also worked for Howard Wolfe in Greenville. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Commerce.

She is survived by a daughter, Mattie Hickman of Lake Fork, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Mitchell Thomas Porter; two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home of Commerce.

Elizabeth Stone

WOLFE CITY - Elizabeth Bertha Stone of Abilene died Saturday at Abilene Regional Medical Center; she had been ill for two years. Funeral services are at 3:30 p.m. today at Mount Carmel Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Frank Williams officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 23, 1916 in Dallas to Charles Weinmann and Anna Regina Shellar Weinmann. On Oct. 21, 1939 she married John B. Stone in Dallas. Mrs. Stone was a homemaker.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Margaret Stone of Abilene; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1990.

R.W. Owens and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edna Luttrull

WOLFE CITY - Edna Jean Luttrull, 78, died Sunday at the Silverleaf Nursing Home in Garland. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at R..W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Grady Cashion officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery in Greenville.

Mrs. Luttrull was born May 30, 1921, in Campbell; the daughter of Willie Mack and Hattie Glover Leeman. She was married to James Luttrull on July 18, 1945 in McKinney.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blooming Grove.

Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Bettie Elrod of Richardson and Nancy Hewlett, Letha Grisham and Sherryl Luttrull, all of Garland; two sons, Robert Luttrull of Lumberton and James Luttrull Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Billy Leeman of Mineola.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers are Russ Devenport, Shelby Perry, Chad Luttrull, Marty Byerly, Anthony Grisham and Bret Grisham.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jessie Childers

Jessie Nell Childers, 71, of Greenville died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. Steve Price officiating. Burial will be in Celeste Cemetery.

She was born in Cooper on April 26, 1928, to Jess Hicks and Nellie Bradford. She was a homemaker and seamstress and a Baptist.

Surviving including sons Billy Childers and Larry Derryberry, both of Greenville; daughters Sandra Duncan of Greenville, Sherry Bratton of Greenville and Barbara Pier of Wolfe City; brothers Samuel Hicks of Celeste, Lee Hicks of Arlington, Aubary Lee Hicks of Lake Cypress, Ray Hicks of Greenville and Joe Hicks of Greenville; sisters Juanita Haskins of Longview, Jean McElwrath of Lake Tawakoni, Meuvalin Hart of Scurry and Lenora Cline of Sherman; and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.

Pallbearers are grandsons and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Alta Devenport

LONE OAK - Alta Devenport of Greenville died Thursday at her residence. Funeral services will be at Weiland Church of Christ at 3 p.m. today with Delton Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Weiland Cemetery.

Born July 10, 1920 in McKinney, she was the daughter of Lonnie Green and Lillie Jones Green. She married Virgil Devenport on Nov. 12, 1941. She was a housewife. Mrs. Devenport was a member of Weiland Church of Christ.

Surviving are a sister, Faye Barns of Garland; two daughters, Patsy Lemons of Lone Oak and Sharon Horton of Greenville; two brothers, Clyde Green of Mesquite and Carl Green of Fort Worth; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Wayne Devenport and her husband.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Lemons, Wes Lemons, Chad Horton, Cole Horton, Gary Phillips and Dolores Ramirez.

Arlus Gambrell

FARMERSVILLE - Arlus Lee Gambrell, 88, of Copeville died Friday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Copeville with Rev. Russell Moore and Rev. Jeff Moore officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery, Copeville.

Son of Samuel A. Gambrell and Geneva E. Hornbuckle Gambrell, he was born Dec. 5, 1910 in Copeville. On June 3, 1933 he married Crystelle Vera Leonard in Durant, Okla. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Gambrell was a farmer and worked in soil conservation. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Copeville.

He is survived by a daughter, JoAnne Airhart of Copeville; two sons, Joel Gambrell of Bossier City, La. and Jack Gambrell of Waco; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Fielder-Baker Funeral Home of Farmersville.

Bartley Funeral Home of Lone Oak is in charge of arrangements.

Ethel Moffitt

QUINLAN - Ethel Moffitt of Greenville, S.C. died July 20. There will be a graveside service at 9 a.m. today at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Quinlan with Rev. Larry Tinsley officiating.

She was born Jan. 2. 1921 in Trenton, N.J. She married Marshall T. Moffitt on Oct. 12, 1946 in Trenton.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Donna Moffitt of Raleigh, N.C. and sons Kenneth E. Moffitt of Greenville, S.C. and Jeffrey A. Moffitt of Greenville, S.C.; grandson Kenneth M. Moffitt of Buies Creek, N.C.; sister-in-law Glenna Hickson and brother-in-law Carl Hickson of Terrell and sisters-in-law Beth Aldridge of Quinlan and Iva Lou Moffitt of Quinlan.

Her husband preceded her in death on March 8, 1995.

Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Debra Myrick

ROYSE CITY - Debra Lovelace Myrick, 43, of Royse City died Thursday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Royse City with Rev. George McCain officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Born March 27, 1956 to Lynnwood and Yvonne Lovelace, she was born March 27, 1956. She was a graduate of East Texas State University and was a member of the First Assembly of God.

Surviving are her parents; husband Steve Myrick of Royse City; son Jonathan David Wall of Royse City; daughter Racheal Yvonne Wall of Royse City and brother David Lynn Lovelace of Dallas.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Rest Haven Funeral Home Ñ Royse City Chapel.

Charlottie Shinn

FARMERSVILLE - Charlottie L. Shinn, 100, of Farmersville died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. There will be a graveside service at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Cemetery in Farmersville with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating.

She was born Jan. 11, 1899 in Bethlehem to Thomas W. Shinn and Mollie Wilcoxson Shinn. She was a homemaker and a member of Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Fielder-Baker Funeral Home of Farmersville.

Lee Robinson

LONE OAK - Lee Clark Robinson of Lone Oak died Wednesday at his residence. Services are at 10 a.m. today at Lone Oak Community Church with Rev. Charles Sheffield and Rev. Eugene Green officiating. Burial is in Hall Cemetery.

Born Feb. 23, 1919 in Quinlan, he was the son of Jinks Lee Robinson and Katherine Elizabeth Higdon. He married Dorothy Tucker on Oct. 9, 1954.

Mr. Robinson was an aircraft mechanic with E-Systems, retiring with 29 years' service. He was a member, deacon and trustee of Lone Oak Community Church.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of Lone Oak; two sons, Jimmy Robinson of Lone Oak and Jackie Robinson of Mineral Springs, Ark.; five daughters, Katie Miller of Daluthe, Ga., Linda Quessenberry of Quinlan and Barbara Fannin, Doris Stotts and Susan Bishop of Lone Oak; one sister, Christine Butler of Quinlan; a brother, Douglas Robinson of Quinlan; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by five sisters, two brothers and a grandson, Chad Stotts.

Pallbearers are Mark Miller, Scott Miller, Damon Weatherford, David Robinson, Edward Robinson, Joseph Robinson, Clay Stotts, Douglas Bishop, Lance Bishop, Cory Bishop and Chris Fannin.

Bartley Funeral Home of Lone Oak is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Aimes-Gridiron

Mary Aimes-Gridiron, 62, of Greenville died Tuesday. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with Rev. William Aimes officiating. Burial is in Grundy Memorial Park.

Surviving are her mother, Roberta Hill of Greenville; three brothers, Rev. William Aimes of Commerce, Rev. Wayne Aimes of Greenville and John Aimes of Dallas; and three sisters, Marie Martin of Commerce, Jewell Sweat of Greenville and Dorothy Watson of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Aimes; brother, Calvin Aimes; and sister, Ernestine Rogers.

Pallbearers are Jerome Hanks, Major Barnett Jr., Tyrance Barnett, Elzie Barnett, Kenith Barnett and Calvin Aimes.

Grundy Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Johnny Hopkins

BONHAM - Graveside services for Johnny Hopkins, 61, of Ector are at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fannin Memorial Gardens near Bonham. He died Wednesday afternoon in the Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.

The son of Robert and Bessie Franklin Hopkins, he was born on July 17, 1938 in Ely. He married Bertha Fay Bellows on May 18, 1956 in Ector. He worked maintenance/electrician for E-Systems.

Mr. Hopkins served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Ector Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife of Ector; sons Charles Donald Hopkins and Jeff Hopkins of Ector and Chris Hopkins of Whitesboro; a brother, Orville Franklin of Pottsboro; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.

Don Hutchison Sr.

Funeral services for Don C. Hutchison Sr., 76, of Point, formerly of Garland, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wyndall Swelling officiating. Burial is in Hart Cemetery. He died Wednesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.

Born June 17, 1923 in the Van Sickle Community, Hunt County, he was the son of Newell W. Hutchison and Lou Etter Hulsey Hutchison. On Aug. 23, 1946 he married Emma J. Harp in Dallas. Mr. Hutchison was a retired refrigeration mechanic for Hussman. He was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, Number 1, in Emory. He was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Garland where he served as a deacon for 31 years.

Survivors include his wife of Point; son and daughter-in-law Don C. Jr. and Joan Hutchison of Point; daughters and sons-in-law Cathy and Rob Killingsworth of Point, Debbie and Brian Kelly of Port Angeles, Wash. and Betty Jo and Curtis Tippit of Forney and 14 grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Kile, Robert Kile, Jimmy Smith, Randy Traylor, Dwayne Smith and Jerry Young.

Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
