Mamie L. Lee of Farmersville died Friday at her home at the age of 92. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Farmersville with Rev. Bart Barber and Rev. Billy Joe Harris officiating. Burial will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park in McKinney.
She was born on July 14, 1907, in Rockwall to George and Ola Geren McDowell. She married Arthur Lee on Sept. 20, 1925, in Princeton. She was a retired dietician and member of First Baptist Church of Farmersville.
Surviving are daughters Dorothy Bryant of Sachse and Myrtis Fitzgerald of Rockwall; sons Norman Lee of Farmersville and Kenneth Lee of Niceville, Fla.; sisters Grace Fox of Greenville, Gladys Brown of Garland and Marie Hackney of Tuscon, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3-8 p.m.
Henry Craig
COMMERCE - Henry "Buddy" Clay Craig, 87, of Ladonia died Wednesday. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pemberton Funeral Home with David Gibson and Eddie Carder officiating. Burial is in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Fannin County.
Born Jan. 30, 1912 in Dawson County, Ga., he was the son of John Henry Craig and Ada Martin. On Dec. 17, 1976 he married Ruby Faye Maddon in Hugo, Okla. He was a longtime resident of the Commerce-Ladonia area.
Mr. Craig was employed by the Dallas School District. He was a farmer until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Commerce.
Surviving are his wife of Ladonia; a brother, Bob Craig of Quinlan; two sisters, Lizzy Tatum of Dawsonville, Ga. and Eunice Summerlin of Honey Grove and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Craig was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Pallbearers are Junior Herdon, Gary Don Anderson, Kenneth Thorton, Bill Wilson Jr., Mike Anderson, John Arthur Smith, Audie Apple and Tommy Rowden. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Wilson, Harvey Lynn Melton, Arthur Reed Wishard, Bob Joyner and Sammy Wilson.
Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ Building Fund.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Harold Harmon
EMORY - Harold L. Harmon, 73, of Point died Wednesday at his home. Funeral services are at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Billy Smith and Margaret Johnston officiating. Burial is in Dawson Cemetery in Cooper.
The son of James Marcus and Cordie Mae Howell Harmon Sr., he was born Sept. 19, 1925 in Mansfield. He married Helen Cavanaugh on Feb. 8, 1959 in Hugo, Okla.
Mr. Harmon served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was a truck driver with Leeway Motor Freight. He was a Baptist and a member of Retired Local Union 745.
Mr. Harmon is survived by his wife of Point; five brothers; three sisters and grandchildren Tracie Lee and Eddie Rogers of Emory.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
Pallbearers are Charles Harmon, John Harmon, Harry Harmon, Marvin Harmon, Tommy Harmon and Selwin Hooks. Honorary pallbearers will be Jodie Hill, Rayford Briggs, Joe Howard Hill, Pat Hill, Bill Elliott, Jack Cavanaugh and Joe Johnston.

Walter Johnson
Walter B. "Burl" Johnson of Greenville died at his home Monay. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Carter Temple CME Church with Rev. Derrick Harris officiating. Burial is in East Mount Cemetery.
Born in Greenville on Feb. 27, 1917, he was the son of Leonard and Oggie Gilstrap Johnson. He married Odessa Linley on May 19, 1937 in Greenville.
Mr. Johnson was a retired butcher. He was a member of Carter Temple CME Church.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; a son, Wayne Jackson of Greenville; three daughters, Walter Mae Crutchfield and Sandra Venters of Greenville and Joyce Ann Brown of Dallas; four sisters, Katie Moton, Hattie Stevenson, Gracie Lee Jones and Margie Anderson, all of Greenville; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, two brothers, one sister, two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Pallbearers are stewards and trustees of Carter Temple CME Church and friends.

Mozelle Moats
LEONARD - Funeral services for Mozelle Moats, 74, of Leonard will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Cowen and Rev. Elmer Miller officiating. Burial is in the Indian Creek Cemetery near Leonard.
She died Thursday in the Leonard Nursing Home.
She was born June 19, 1925 in Leonard, the daughter of Roscoe Charles Moats and Edith Balin Isaack Moats. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Leonard.
Surviving are a sister, Juanita Moats of Leonard and several cousins.
Pallbearers are Garvis Buchanan, Arvis Buchanan, Donald Coonrod, Dub Coonrod, David Welch, Keith Welch and Andrew Welch.

Thomas Spicer
QUINLAN - Thomas Donald Spicer, 62, of West Tawakoni died Wednesday at the VA Hospital in Bonham. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Quinlan LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Tomlinson officiating. Burial is in Lakeside Memorial Park.
The son of Donnie and Juanita Hill Spicer, he was born July 29, 1937 in Rosebud.
Mr. Spicer served in the U.S. Navy and he was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, AmVets in West Tawakoni.
Mr. Spicer is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jean Spicer of West Tawakoni; three stepsons, Gary Sparks of Bonham, Christopher L. Broyles of Irving and Craig L. Broyles of Graham; a daughter, DeeAnna Insall of Bonham; a brother, Phillip Stanley Spicer of New Braunfels; a sister, Hanna Bonn of New Braunfels and one grandchild.
His parents preceded him in death.
Dorothy Williams
GRANBURY - Dorothy B. Williams, 72, of Granbury, formerly of Greenville, died Monday in San Francisco, Calif. while on vacation. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Acton United Methodist Church. Burial is at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville at 3 p.m.
She was born Sept. 13, 1927 in Rogers to G.O. and Bertha Bell. On Feb. 2, 1945 she married W.R. "Dub" Williams in Greenville.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Action United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband of Granbury; her father and stepmother, G.O. and Myneta Bell of Greenville; a son, William Williams of Bluff Dale; brothers Jimmy Bell and Charles Bell of Greenville and Thomas Bell of the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, Japan and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a son, Jonathan Williams.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Jeffrey Reynolds
EMORY - Jeffrey L. Reynolds, 46, of Edgewood, died Tuesday at Green Acres Nursing Home in Emory. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Dunbar Cemetery.
Born in Phoenix, N.Y. on Feb. 21, 1953, he was the son of Kenneth G. and Fannie Delano Reynolds. On Sept. 1, 1979, he married Sandy Green in Dallas. Mr. Reynolds worked as a machinist for Renfro Company; he was retired. He was a member of Dunbar Union Church.
Surviving are his wife of Emory; brothers Kenneth Reynolds, Jerry Reynolds and William Reynolds, all of New York; a sister, Christine Berry of New York; six stepchildren and 11 stepgrandchildren.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
George T. Shepard
George T. Shepard of Wolfe City died Tuesday. There will be a graveside service at Mount Carmel Cemetery at 1 p.m. today with Rev. Wayne Aimes officiating.
Born Jan. 29, 1935 in Marshall, he was the son of Oscar and Ollie Shepard. He married Amanda Jernigan in Wolfe City in 1990.
Mr. Shephard is survived by his wife of Wolfe City; seven sons, George H., Craig, Ronnie W., Bobby, Gary, Glenn and Tommy Shepard; two daughters, Reba Nelson and Audrey Garrett; four brothers, Roy Shepard, Rev. Troy Shepard, David Shepard and Carl E. Shepard; six sisters, Ollie Bell Levacy, Effie Latham, Johnnie Bell, Helan Marie, Ruby Lee and Ruth Ann; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.

William Wooten
DENISON - Funeral services for Paul Wooten, 67, of Denison were Monday with Steve Ewton officiating. Burial was in Cherry Mound Cemetery.
Mr. Wooten was born near Greenville in the Humbolt Community on April 5, 1932 to Noah C. and Osceola Lacks Wooten. He married Helen Jordan of Caddo Mills on June 13, 1953 in Arlington.
Mr. Wooten was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany. He was owner of a bulldozer business until his retirement in 1997. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Paula Anderson of Blue Ridge and Janice Waldrip of Bells; five grandchildren; four sisters, Lucy Luttrell and Ruth Currin of Greenville, Martha Campbell of Mount Pleasant and Winona Foley of Garland; a sister-in-law, Cleta Shuler of Greenville and three brothers-in-law, James Shuler, Lonnie Ray and Bell Currin, all of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Earl Wooten and two sisters, Stella Ray and Naomi Wooten.
Opal Hart
Opal M. Hart, 90, of Garland died Friday in Greenville. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Williams Funeral Chapel in Garland with Rev. Johnny Godwin officiating. Burial is at Restland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hart was a homemaker and a member of the First Methodist Church in Garland.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Lester and Jenny Hart of Prescott, Ariz. and Kenneth and Carolyn Hart of Quinlan; a brother, James Gaston of College Station; five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Jannie Hope
LADONIA - Jannie Lorena Hope, 90, of Ladonia died Saturday in Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Ladonia with Rev. Bob Posey officiating. Burial will be in the Ladonia Cemetery.
Mrs. Hope was born Nov. 21, 1908 in Rio Vista, the daughter of William T. Campbell and Anna Jane Smith Campbell. She married Lois Ellis Hope Dec. 5, 1929 in Hillsboro. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ladonia.
Surviving are five sons, Jimmy Hope of Walgport, Oregon, Monroe Hope, Jerry Hope of Houston, Michael Hope of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Larry Hope of Greenville; three daughters Nellie Harland of Farmersville, Joanna Barker of Houston and Nancy Kennedy of The Woodlands; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jason Hope, Matt Hope, Andy Scott, Jeff Scott, Tim Wegner, and Sam Harland.

Imogene Darnell
Imogene Darnell, 66, of Greenville died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Chapel with Mr. John Anders officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Darnell was born Jan. 27, 1933 in Athens, Ala., the daughter of Eugene Key and Frances Graham Key. She married Billy R. Darnell Jan. 5, 1952 in Huntsville, Ala. She was a homemaker and a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ and attended Campbell Church of Christ where her husband preaches.
Surviving are her husband, Billy R. Darnell of Greenville; two daughters, Beverly Jean Darnell of Kingsland and Linda G. Geer of Chambersburg, Pa.; a brother, Willard Key of Guntersville, Ala.; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Raymond Rivard
Raymond John Rivard, 81, of Arlington, formerly of Greenville, died Thursday at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Coker-Mathews Chapel with C. C. Morris officiating. Burial is in Simmons Cemetery.
Mr. Rivard was born June 18, 1918 in Somerset, Wis., the son of Theophile Rivard and Marie Proulx Rivard. He married Doris Graham on Oct. 24, 1942 in Durant, Okla.
He was a veteran and retired from the U. S. Air Force after 24 years of service. He attended Saints Rest Church in Dallas.
Surviving are his wife of Arlington; a son, Dennis Rivard of Joshua; three daughters, Carole Leandra of Austin, Dorisse Ostrowski of Flatts, and Janine Smith of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters Bernadette Malhstadt of River Falls, Wis. and Delima Petschaeur of St. Paul Minn.; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond John Michael Rivard in 1983, a daughter, Elleta Rubens in 1997, five brothers and six sisters.
Pallbearers are Dennis Rivard, Brian Leandra, John Ostrowski, Bill Smith, Traver Smith, and Kenny Chavez.

Walter Crowell
WOLFE CITY - Walter W. Crowell, 82, of Greenville died suddenly Wednesday. There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. today at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
Born Dec. 31, 1916 in Wolfe City, he was the son of Harvey W. and Mary Bell Jackson Crowell. On Dec. 11, 1942 he married Cleo Kelley in Wolfe City. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Crowell retired from E-Systems. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Greenville.
Surviving are a son, Travis J. Crowell of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Clifford Ray Crowell of Louisiana and Howard H. Crowell of Wolfe City; a granddaughter and husband, Teresa and Nathan Pate of Jacksonville and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife and one son.
