WILLS POINT - Funeral services for Jack L. Robinson, 52, of Wills Point are at 2 p.m. Friday at the Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel. He died Tuesday at his home.
He was born Jan. 2, 1947 in Wills Point to Jack and Billie Lou Robinson. He graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1965.
Mr. Robinson served in the U.S. Army as sergeant in the Vietnam war and was later in the Army Reserve. He was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone for 30 years, retiring in June 1999.
Mr. Robinson was a member of Communications Workers of America and had lived in Wills Point since 1983. He was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Melissa Robinson of Forney; his mother of Wills Point; sister and brother-in-law Sally and Danny Pilgreen of Memphis, Tenn.; a grandson, Trenton Robinson; one niece and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jay Scott Robinson, in April 1974 and his father on Dec. 25, 1997.
Florence Stailey
WOLFE CITY - Florence Bell Stailey, 87, of Wolfe City died Tuesday at Parkland Hospital in Dallas following a two-day illness. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home with Sammy Dodd officiating. Burial is in Ladonia Cemetery.
She was born March 6, 1912 in Wolfe City to James Adam and Alice Robinson Stailey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Christine Rhodes of Wolfe City and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Dale Rhodes, Daniel Owens, Tommy Stailey, Randy Stailey, Bradly Parsons and Granvill Fields.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Nita Flanagan
Nita Flanagan of Greenville died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kyle Goen officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
The daughter of Everett Goen and Opal Roberts Goen, she was born Nov. 30, 1924 in Greenville. On Dec. 3, 1944 she married James C. Flanagan in Greenville. Mrs. Flanagan was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband; a son, David Michael Flanagan of Dallas; daughter Sandra Gail Beard of Whitewright; a brother, Otha M. Goen of Houston; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.
Wilda Glenn
FARMERSVILLE - Wilda Mae Glenn, 84, of Farmersville died Monday at her residence. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Farmersville Church of Christ with John Morgan and Mac LeFan officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 10, 1915 in Higden, Ark. to John W. Davis and Alice Gadberry Davis. She married Tommy Glenn. Mrs. Glenn was a sales clerk and was a member of the Farmersville Church of Christ.
Two sisters, Faye Davis of Farmersville and Bill Hess of San Angelo and a brother, Jeff Davis of Apache Junction, Ariz. survive.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Fielder-Baker Funeral Home of Farmersville.
Corine Moya
DALLAS - Corine Moya, 76, of Dallas, formerly of Greenville, died Saturday at her home. There is a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Dallas with Rev. Loyd D. Morris officiating. Burial is in Grove Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by nine daughters, Lupe Reyes, Jacoba Munoz, Angel Gebara, Josie Davila, Stella Gebara, Rosa Villavos, Maria D. Gebara, Vera Moya and Tina Navarro; two sons, Daniel Moya and Norman Velos; 38 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister.

Robert Reynerson
Robert "Bob" James Reynerson of Houston, formerly of Greenville died Oct. 10. Funeral services and burial were in Houston on Oct. 14.
He was born Dec. 9, 1944 in Greenville to Don and Martha Nell Reynerson. He joined the Navy in 1966 and served on the hospital ship USS Sanctuary until 1970.
Mr. Reynerson graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in biology and was the regional manager of medical sales for Bristol-Meyers, Squibb Company.
Surviving are a son, Kyle Rynerson and granddaughter Anna of Houston; a brother, Don L. Reynerson Jr. of Marietta, Ga. and nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
Frank Routh Sr.
Frank D. Routh Sr. of Greenville died Monday at Greencrest Manor. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Priest officiating. Graveside services will be conducted by Fred Ende Lodge 87, I.O.O.F. at Forest Park Cemetery.
Born in Hunt County on Oct. 9, 1919, he was the son of Horace O. Routh Sr. and Annie Barnes. On Feb. 23, 1946 he married Evelyn Moudy in Greenville.
Mr. Routh served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart for service in Saipan, Tinian and the Marshall Islands. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Lone Oak Christian Church.
He was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge, American Legion and VFW. On March 15, 1996 he was awarded a certificate of continuous membership for over years from the American Legion Post 0017. On Feb. 25, 1998 he received recognition of last surviving charter member of VFW Post 4011.
Mr. Routh was a member of the Frnka Era football team. He was a life member of American Legion Post 17 and was initiated into the Fred Ende Lodge 87, I.O.O.F., on Nov. 3, 1949. He was a 50-year member, serving in all offices of the lodge several times and was Past Grand Master.
Mr. Routh also participated in Degree Work all over the state and won the state championship several times in the Funeral Ceremony competition.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Frank D. Jr. and Shannon Routh of Greenville; daughters and sons-in-law Carol and Gene Gemmell of Indiana, Penn. and Judy and Randy Tarpley of Greenville; brother, Joe Mack Routh of San Antonio; sister and brother-in-law Martha and Norman Thomas of Longview; grandchildren Rick and Becky Gemmell of Marion Center, Penn., Dr. Tracy and Nick Gemmell-Romac of Latrobe, Penn., Amy and Jeff Wade of Greenville, Mark Tarpley of Greenville, Andy and Sharon Grimes of Houston, Martha and Will Lee of Garland and Keith Carroll and Robert Maner of Greenville and great-grandchildren Richelle Gemmell, Justin Wade, Jacey Wade, Rachel Romac and Dakota Paul Carroll.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Jan. 18, 1998; daughter Janet Grimes on March 30, 1999; his father in 1951; his mother in 1976; four sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers are Red Purcell, Billy Bob Waddle, Coburn Moser, Wayne McHenry, Pittman Keen and Herbert C. "Pat" Freeman. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Roberts, Valton Wineinger, Leon Wineinger, Leeman Cook, Bill Little, Frnka Era Football Team, G Company, 23rd Regiment, 4th Marine Division.

Cheryl Thomas
COMMERCE - Cheryl Ann Ables Thomas, 43, of Commerce died Monday at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pemberton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Strictland officiating. Burial is at 2 p.m. in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park at Sherman.
She was born Nov. 28, 1955 in Norman, Okla. to Tom Dwayne Ables and Anna Hudgens Thomas. She married Donny Earl Thomas on Dec. 26, 1975 in Sherman.
Mrs. Thomas had lived in the Commerce area since 1984, moving from Sherman. She was a graduate of Sherman High School and attended Grayson County Junior College in Sherman for two years. She received her registered nursing license.
Mrs. Thomas was formerly employed at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman and Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday School and she was the director of the children's choir.
Surviving are her husband of Commerce; daughters April Denise Thomas and Jennifer Deann Thomas, both of Commerce; her parents of Tyler and sisters Elizabeth Ables of Tyler and Deborah Greene of Longview.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Green, Don Drewry, Mathew Green, Jack Chesser, David Hatten, Landis Mobley, Jay O'Neal and Don Pryor.
Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
James Ellis
James Edward Ellis, 67, of Greenville died Friday at Baylor Health Care of Dallas. Funeral services will be held at Coker-Mathews Chapel at 2 p.m. today with Rev. Tommy Weems and Rev. Bryan Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
The son of Henry Jackson Ellis Sr. and Baby Ruth Warner Ellis, he was born in Lone Oak on April 7, 1932. He married Mary Lorene Spurlock on May 7, 1955, and Ellen Ray on April 18, 1987.
Mr. Ellis served in the National Guard and was a retired guard from E-Systems. He was a member of the Park Street Baptist Church.
He was a well-known bowler at Hill Top Bowl, receiving many honors as well as rolling a 300 game in league play.
Survivors include his wife of Greenville; father and step-mother Ella Mae Ellis of Greenville; son Lonnie Dean Ellis of Frisco; step-sons Robert Mark Morgan of Palestine, Joe David Morgan of Greenville and Kenneth Allen Jones of Wieland; daughters and sons-in-law Vicki Joyce and Samuel Tate Griffis of Celeste, Carol Lynn and William Dale Arrington of Commerce and Mary Diane and Joe Ray McNair of Mesquite; step-daughter Jamie Rae Ballard of Emory; brothers Elmer Ellis and Henry Ellis Jr., both of Greenville; sisters Annie Marie Evans of Greenville, Lula Belle Nichols of Josephine and Jo Ann Graves of Garland; grandsons James Dean Ellis, Jeffrey Tate Griffis, Gary Wayne Arrington, Cory Ray Arrington, Joe Anthony McNair and Jason Patrick McNair; step-grandsons James David Morgan, Phillip Allen Jones and Joshua Allen Munson; granddaughter Stefani Renea Young; step-granddaughters Kristie Marie Morgan and Amber Michelle Jones; great-grandson Austin Fontay Young; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his first wife in 1984.

Ernest Glenn
Ernest N. Glenn Sr., 76, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Nov. 6 in Phoenix. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Cozine and Tarver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rodney Hood officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
Mr. Glenn was born in Pittsburg, Texas, on Nov. 25, 1922, to Nathaniel and Ada Prince Glenn. He was a Methodist and a retired maintenance worker.
Survivors include son Ernest Glenn of De Soto, nephews William Glenn of Greenville and Ronnie Williams of Hempstead, N.Y., nieces Deanna Hunter and Lori Williams of Hempstead, N.Y., and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
John Long
EMORY - John E. Long, 67, of Emory died Friday at North Central Medical Center in McKinney . Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel in Emory with Rev. Montie Parker officiating. Burial will be in Elm Cemetery.
He was born in Weatherford on March 17, 1932, to Claude Long and Katie Clack. He married Irma Perez in Dallas in 1976.
Mr. Long was a retired police officer, having worked 28 years in the Dallas Police Department and 11 years in Addison. He was a 32 Degree Mason and member of the Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife of Emory; son John Long Jr. of Celina; step-sons David Duran and Derik Duran, both of Dallas; brother Roy Long of Mineral Wells; sister Evelyn Ruland of Weatherford; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Imogene Mason
FARMERSVILLE - Funeral services for Imogene Herby Mason, 89, of McKinney are at 3 p.m. Monday at Fielder-Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Farmersville with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville.
Mrs. Mason died Saturday in McKinney.
The daughter of Herb and Mary Jones Hall, she was born in Copeville on Aug. 6, 1910. She married Ralph Mason on Feb. 4, 1933, in Celina. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of McKinney, daughters Judy Hargett of McKinney and Joy Bass of Sugarland, sister Mildred Belew of McKinney, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Don Short
COMMERCE - Don J. Short, 85, of Commerce died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. Funeral services will be held at First Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Mike House officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.
He was born in McAlister on April 3, 1914, to Joseph Calvin and Pearl Short. He married Jessie Gulley in Monroe, La., on Feb. 6, 1939.
Mr. Short moved from Abilene to Commerce in 1968. He was a graduate of McAlister High School and attended Northeast Louisiana Junior College for two years. He also attended East Texas State Teachers College, where he received his masters degree.
He was a veteran of the United States Army Infantry and served during World War II. He was a worked as a teacher and football and basketball coach for Burkburnett, Throckmorton, Lamesa, Galveston, Abilene and Commerce High Schools until his retirement in 1978. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Commerce.
Survivors include his wife of Commerce, daughter Charlene Crocker of Nacogdoches, sons Don Paul Sort of Austin and Joey Short of Commerce, sister Florence Noyd of San Angelo, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Pemberton Funeral Home.
Winnie Bryan
LAKE WORTH - Winnie Fay Bryan, 72, died Wednesday at her home. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God in Blue Mound with Rev. Hanley Martin and Rev. Brad Wilson officiating.
She was born Nov. 18, 1926 in Greenville.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Bryan; stepsons, Gary Bryan and Ricky Bryan; niece Galena Wilson and husband Bobby Wilson; great-nieces Brandy Wilson and Bobbie Wilson; great-nephew Brad Wilson; grandchildren Bradley Bryan, Michelle Sobold, Elizabeth Bryan and Willie Bryan.

Eleanor E. Smith of Greenville died Oct. 29 in Decatur, Ga. There is a graveside service today at Grundy Memorial Park at 4 p.m. with Rev. Gerald Weatherall officiating.
She is survived by a daughter, Pearl Summers of Chicago, Ill. and a grandson, Tim McKenzie of Dallas.
Her husband, Glen Smith, preceded her in death.

Jimmie White
Jimmie Jernise White of Greenville died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2:30 p.m. today at Wesley Chapel CME Church with Rev. Norris D. Curry officiating. Burial is in Grundy Memorial Park.
The daughter of Jim and Hettie Thomas, she was born Aug. 26, 1915 in Wolfe City. She and Tessie White were married in Hunt County.
Mrs. White was a child day care operator. She was a member of Wesley Chapel CME Church.
Mrs. White is survived by a son, Jimmy Thomas of Dallas; four nieces, Primrose Murrell of Greenville, Virgie Spencer and Betty Jane Wright of Dallas and Melva Jean Griffins of Alabama; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and 11 brothers and sisters.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
