PRINCETON Memorial services for Carl Ray Farmer, 53, of Princeton, will be at 3 p.m. today at Haltom Road Baptist Church in Haltom City with Mike Courtney officiating. He died Friday in Princeton.
Born in Greenville on Jan. 1, 1946, he was the son of Edgar and Roberta Moore Farmer. He married Sherri Farmer in Texarkana, Ark on Sept. 10, 1977. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, was employed as a mechanic/accounts payable with G. E. Capital and was a member of Haltom Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Farmer of Princeton; a daughters, Melissa Farmer of Alvarado; a daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Brandon Milligan of Mesquite; a son, Danny Moore of Fort Worth, sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Lanelle Farmer of Alvarado, David and Shannon Farmer of Alvarado and Bobby and Erika Farmer of Springfield, Mo.; his parents, Edgar and Roberta Roberta Farmer of Haltom City; sisters Shirley Womack and Keri Pruitt, both of Fort Worth; a brother, James Farmer of Fort Worth and six grandchildren.
Arrangements are through Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville.
Paula Franks
DALLAS Funeral services for Paula Irene Franks, 69, of Dallas, will be at 2 p.m. today at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Princeton. She died Friday in Dallas.
Born in Texas on March 7, 1930, she was the daughter of Clifton and Cleda Yates Evans. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Troy Paul Mills of Balch Springs; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are through Fielder-Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville.
Randall Nation
Funeral services for Randall Keith Nation, 22, of Greenville, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Johnson Street Church of Christ with Keith Thomason and Rick Henslee officiating. Burial will be in McWright Cemetery. He died Friday in Collin County.
Born in Greenville on Dec. 22, 1976, he was the son of Larry and Nancy Scott Nation. He was a cable splicer for Southwestern Bell and a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1995.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Nancy Nation of Greenville; a brother, Rob Nation of Greenville; a sister, Amy Nation of Greenville; grandparents Cass and Della Nation of Greenville and Elnita Scott of Greenville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Guy Scott.
Pallbearers include Jerod Long, Wesley Lyday, Brian Mitchell, Wade Jones, Todd Hackney and Todd Eudy.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 until 6 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Elma Riley
Funeral services for Elma Ree Riley, 57, of Greenville, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mt. Elem Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Price officiating. Burial will be in Grundy Memorial Park. She died Tuesday at a local nursing home.
Born in Ore City on Sept. 12, 1942, she was the daughter of Richard and Della Mae Stevens Stanton. She married George Riley in Greenville in 1964. She was a retired seamstress and a member of New United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, George Riley of Greenville; three sons, Chris Riley and Mitchell Riley of Greenville and Ronnie Riley of Austin; three daughters, Vickie Holden, Vanessa Riley and Mae Riley, all of Greenville; three brothers, Leon Stanton, Eddie Stanton and R. D. Stanton, all of Greenville; three sisters, Hazel Franklin of Greenville, Shirley Rector of Austin and Dorothy Nell Shepard of Bovina and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Pallbearers include Chris Riley, Mitchell Riley, Tony Riley, Ronnie Stanton, Cedric Stanton and Ronnie Riley.

Charles Childress
Charles J. Childress of Celeste died Friday at Smith's Nursing Center in Wolfe City. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marsha Engle, Rev. Ricky Huggins and Rev. Danny Davis officiating. Burial will be in Celeste Cemetery.
Son of George W. Childress and Bessie Barnes Childress, he was born May 17, 1920 in the Dulaney Community. On Jan. 3, 1942 he married Margie Fugitt in Kingston. He retired from Raytheon Systems Company (E-Systems) in 1985 as an assembler-installer. Mr. Childress was a member of White Rock United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; sons and daughters-in-law Ronnie and Terri Childress of Celeste and Harry and Kay Childress of Celeste; daughter and son-in-law Charlsey and Dan Nichols of Celeste; grandchildren Brad Nichols, Terri Childress, Amy Childress, Gina Allen, Kristi Roberts and Staci Childress; great-grandchildren Zach, Zane, Dalton, Dillon, Reagan and Keith; stepgrandson Joshua McGuffey; sister and brother-in-law Bonnie and Lowney Leblanc of Jackson, Miss.; sister-in-law Louie Childress of Celeste; brother-in-law Bobby Fugitt of Greenville; brothers- and sisters-in-law Lee and Hazel Fugitt of Greenville, Gilbert and Exie Fugitt of Greenville, Larry and Mary Tome of Cudahy, Wis. and Gene and Ruth Fugitt of Caddo Mills and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Cecil, Jess and Ferguson and sisters Ethel Vulgamore and Lula Leggett.

Robert Fletcher
EMORY Robert G. Fletcher, 61, of Groesbeck, died Wednesday at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. today at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Meyers officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.
Born Aug. 23, 1938 in Emory, he was the son of Joe and Velma Jones Fletcher. On Dec. 24, 1993 he married Julia Rodrigue in Jewett. Mr. Fletcher was a self-employed retailer of unclaimed freight. He was a member of the Assembly of God.
Surviving are his wife of Groesbeck; his mother of Point; sons Rodney Fletcher of Springfield, Mo., Mark Fletcher of Groesbeck and Micaiah Fletcher of Groesbeck; daughters Bridgette Fletcher of Groesbeck, Darla Calvery of Midlothian and Karen Briscoe of Georgia; a brother, Max Fletcher of Greenville; a sister, Leslyn Murphy of Lubbock and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father on Feb. 1, 1991 and a brother, Joe L. Fletcher III on Feb. 25, 1995.

Dorothy Poole
POINT Dorothy "Dot" Poole of Point died Thursday in Tyler. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Point Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Lonestar Cemetery.
She was born in Floyd to Eddie Lee and Nellie Mae Ragsdale Plunkett. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her mother, Nellie Mae Taylor of Winnsboro; sons Dennis House of Dallas, Daryl House of Forney and Larry House of Forney; two daughters, Joyce Weldon of Dallas and Sherri Hogue of Diana; a brother, Buddy Plunkett of Perryville; two sisters, Georgia House of Point and Helen Wallace of Winnsboro; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth House and a daughter, Patsy House.
Nephews and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Billy Prather
Billy Marshall Prather, 77, of Dallas, formerly of Greenville, died at his residence Thursday. There will be a Masonic graveside service a 2 p.m. today at Tidwell Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Weems officiating.
Born in Greenville on Dec. 14, 1922, he was the son of Sterling Wade Prather and Aubrey Williams. On Jan. 23, 1942 he married Ethel Turner in Greenville. He served in the Air Force for four years.
Mr. Prather lived in Dallas for the past 54 years. He was a branch manager for Calavo Avocado Grower of California for 23 years and then was owner and operator of Avocado Sales of Dallas for 16 years until his retirement in 1985. He was a Master Mason for 46 years.
He is survived by his wife of Dallas; a son and daughter-in-law Phillip Wade and Norine Prather of Dallas; a daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jean and John Cappellin of Waco; granddaughters Domani Caprice Cappellin of Houston and Mindy Noelle Chieffo of Baltimore, Md.; great-grandsons Aaron Kyle Svoma and Anthony John Chieffo of Baltimore, Md.; an uncle Bill Williams of Greenville and several aunts.

Maggie Sale, 83, of Greenville died Friday at Greenville Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Nichols and Rev. Jeff Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Bogota Cemetery at 4 p.m.
Daughter of Charlie Burrow and Bell Lee, she was born Feb. 8, 1916 in Delta County. She married Rev. Francis Sale on Dec. 24, 1938 in Clarksville. She was raised in Clarksville. Mrs. Sale was a homemaker and a member of Merit United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of Merit; three daughters, Francis Wiler of Garland, Elizabeth Sumrow of Merit and Martha Barnard of Houston; sisters Flora McClanahan, Reba Burrow, Bess Lewis and Jennie Burrow, all of Clarksville; two grandsons; three granddaughters; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.

Louis Anderson
Louis A. Anderson of Greenville died Sunday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shiloh Church of God in Christ with elder Bobby Crosby officiating. Burial is in East Mount Cemetery.
The son of Johnnie and Minnie Graham Anderson, he was born Oct. 19, 1937. He married Doris Williams in 1977 in Greenville. He was a member of Shiloh Church of God in Christ.
Surviving are two brothers, Robert Anderson of Greenville and Thomas Anderson of Dallas and two sisters, Emma Anderson of Greenville and Louise Younger of Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers are Preston Hawkins, Bobby Davis, David Hawkins Jr., Charles Davis, Stevie Smith and Michael Heard.

He died Tuesday morning in Rowlett.
Born Sept. 26, 1966 in Greenville, he was the son of Ron Bigony and Lelia Tolleson. He served in the U.S. Army for three years. He worked at Circuit City in warehouse and deliveries. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his father and stepmother Ron and Jayne Bigony of Longview; mother and stepfather, Lelia and Ralph Conley of Greenville; daughter, Taylor Bigony of Greenville; grandmother, Virginia Tolleson of Greenville; a sister, Teresa Curry of Royse City and nephew, Tanner Curry of Royse City.
Grandparents Joe and Alice Bigony and grandfather Victor Tolleson preceded him in death.

Willie Brigham
Willie D. Brigham of Greenville died Saturday at a Dallas hospital. Funeral services are at noon Saturday at Clark Street Christian Church with Rev. W.D. Hines officiating. Burial is in Grundy Memorial Park.
Born April 1, 1934 in Greenville, he was the son of Floyd and Viola Hampton Brigham. On Jan. 9, 1960 he married Rosie M. Reynolds in Greenville. Mr. Brigham was retired from E-Systems (Raytheon). He was a member of Clark Street Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Rev. Howard L. Brigham of Queens, N.Y., Willie D. Brigham Jr. of Greenville and Gaylon Brigham of Dallas; daughters Vickie L. Jones and Netoche Fair of Greenville, Cheri Y. Copper of Cumby and Rita L. Brigham of Dallas; three sisters, Mary Dee Pruitt, Betty J. Brown and Josephine Hendrix, all of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and three sisters.

Gerald Dewberry
KAUFMAN - Graveside services for Gerald Dewberry, 59, of Kaufman are at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Kaufman County with Ronnie Emola officiating. He died Thursday in Kaufman.
He was born Sept. 18, 1940 in Maben, Miss. He moved to Dallas when he was 14 years old and to Kaufman in 1976. On Sept. 14, 1963 he married Echo Elaine Harp in Dallas.
Mr. Dewberry was in the drywall construction business. He was a member of Cottage Heights Baptist Church of Kaufman.
Surviving are his wife of Kaufman; his father, Pat Cook, of Irving; a son, Patrick Dewberry of Greenville; daughter Pam Uselton of Kaufman; a sister, Dorothy Skala of Irving; and three grandchildren.

Howard Jones
LADONIA - Howard Bunk Jones of Ladonia died Wednesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today at the Ladonia Cemetery with Sam Bush officiating.
Born in Wade, Okla. on Feb. 23, 1903, he was the son of Henry and Alice Jones. He married Emily Ivy in 1933.
Mr. Jones was a retired newspaper carrier and had lived in Ladonia for more than 70 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Phillip "Gertie" Wright of Ladonia; grandchildren Larry and Connie Wright, Gary and Debbie Wright, Skip and Debbie Yeager and Kay Wright; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
His wife preceded him in death on May 10, 1987.

Ralph Barnes
Ralph H. Barnes of Greenville died Wednesday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville, Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday at Johnson Street Church of Christ with Rick Henslee officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
The son of Henry M. Barnes and Elizabeth Sylviria Gossett Barnes, he was born May 18, 1917 in Aberfoyle, Hunt County. On Aug. 10, 1941 he married Nancy Lee Riggan in Commerce.
Mr. Barnes served in the U.S. Army, 65th Division, in Europe and received the Bronze Star. He was a supervisor with the Bureau of Corrections. He was a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Barbara Barnes of Green Valley, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Larry McCullough of Greenville; granddaughter Leah McCullough of Corpus Christi; grandson, Scott McCullough of Greenville and great-grandchild, Lainey McCullough.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter, Elaine McCullough.
Pallbearers are R.C. Burgin, Bill Daum, Jim Hodo, Gilbert Voss, Bobby Spradling and John Paul Willaby. Richard Burdick is an honorary pallbearer.
