He was born Victoria, Texas the son of Carl Henry Cole, Jr., and Willie Vina Jones Cole and passed away September 30, 2010 in Houston, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Eleithe Cole of Point Blank, Texas, Brandon Lloyd Cole, son of Point Blank, Texas and a host of relatives and friends also survive.

Pallbearers will be Gary Jenke, Roger Aliperti, Michael Shank and Daniel Shank. Military Honors provided by the VFW Post #8568 in Livingston where Mr. Shank was a lifetime member.

He was born July 29, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Charles S. & Emily Suffolk Shank and passed away September 30, 2010 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by Marian Shank, wife of Onalaska, Paul & Susan Shank, son and daughter in law of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Karl & Jan Shank, son and daughter in law of Livingston, Michael & Allison Shank, grandson and wife of Livingston, Daniel & Amy Shank, grandson and wife of Livingston, and great grandchildren; Dillon Shank, Gracie Shank, Mark Shank and Addison Shank.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister in law, Al and Lanita Chesson, John Slack, grandson, Bessie Bennett, mother in law and Alcede Bennett, father in law.

Alta M. Stewart, 83, of Livingston, Texas, went to be with the Lord September, 26, 2010 in Livingston, Texas. She was born in Moscow, Texas, September 20, 1927 to Henry and Ada Mae Bisitt Brown. She was a member of The First Baptist Church and she belonged to to the Polk County Women’s Auxiliary and was also a member of the Woman’s Missionary Auxiliary at First Baptist Church where she taught for several years. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Earvin Stewart. Brother George F. Brown, nephew Charles H. Brown and sister-in-laws; Ollie Brown and Sherlene Brown and nephew-in-law, Dr. Bobby Burk.

Her survivors include niece, Charlotte Brown Burk of Livingston and Julie Brown of St. Martin; nephews, George Wayne Brown and wife Beverly of Arkansas and Paul Brown and wife JoAnna of Livingston, Texas, great- nieces and great-great-nieces and nephews; special friend Mike Pullen and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation was held Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Pace Funeral Home. Services were held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Pace Funeral with Bro. Frank Hood and Bro. Harold Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow in Peebles Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Brown, Mike Pullen, Winfred Robinett, Bobby Lowe, Weldon Vines and James Williams. Honorary pallbearers were the Woman’s Missionary Auxiliary FBC, Trish Howard, Holly Howard, Naomi Howard, Hazel Milliken, Melena Burress, Lois Rhodes, Pam Sprott, Eloise Wells, Betty Blakley, Wilma Ross, Myrna Hurtt, Letha White, Winnie Matthews, Beth Williams, Ruth Atchley, Billie Jean McKelvey, Gloria Murphy, Ann O’Steen, Jeri McCormick and the Sunshine Ladies: Trish Howard and Joan Farrar.

Inez Clamon

Funeral services for Inez Clamon, age 95 of Livingston will be held Tuesday September 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Frank Hood officiating and interment to follow in the Feagin Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers will be Rex Clamon, Rodney Clamon, Bryan Dickens, Coy Holder, Paul Daniel, Sean Daniel and Jessie Clamon and Honorary Pallbearers will be all the grandchildren.

She was born January 4, 1915 in Tyler County, Texas the daughter of T.B. Laird and Delia Barclay Laird and passed away September 26, 2010 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert Lee Clamon.

Mrs. Clamon loved gardening, flowers, fishing and the outdoors. She taught school at Hortense for a year in 1933.

She is survived by Lila Faye & Jerry Holder, daughter & son in law of Lufkin, Texas, A.L. “Shorty” & Barbara Clamon, son and daughter in law of Livingston, Sherry & Dudley Dickens, daughter & son in law of Livingston, grandchildren; Rex Clamon, Rodney Clamon, Kerry Seymour, Coy Holder, Melinda Daniel, Bryan Dickens, Kelly Dickens, Ricky Weaver and Tammy Weaver, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren also survive.

Jacquie Marie Dwyer
August 2, 1948 - September 23, 2010

Jacquie Marie Dwyer, age 62, passed away at Taylor County Medical Center, Thursday, September 23, 2010.

Born August 2, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, she grew up in California before residing permanently in Texas. A former Miss Redwood City Pageant winner, Jacuie's grace carried her through all of her life's adventures. She moved to the Livingston area in 2000. At the time of her death, she worked as a correctional officer at the Polunsky Unit of the Texas Department of Corrections where she proudly served eight years.

Survivors include her daughter, Amanda, of Livingston, her son Zachary and his wife Leah, of Eastchester, New York. Her first granddaughter is due in February. She is remembered by her brother Carl, of San Francisco, CA, and the father of her children, Phil, his wife, Deborah, and countless vibrant friends and colleagues. Jacquie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Laura Dwyer of St. Louis, Missouri and her sister Rae Laura. Her effervescent personality will be missed by all.

A memorial will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday September 28, at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Relatives and friends are welcome at the memorial and the reception immediately following from 3 p.m. - 5p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome to establish a scholarship in her honor. Please contact the Polunsky Unit for more details.

She was born January 13, 1923 in Quaye, Oklahoma the daughter of Franklin & Gay Ann Mullennax and passed away November 2, 2010 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy David Keil, Jack Erickson, husband, Dorothy Sundeen, daughter, Raymond Leroy Keil, son, Allen Lee Sundeen, grandson, Patricia Louise Sundeen, granddaughter and Keith Edwin Sundeen, grandson.

She is survived by Lester Keil, son of Los Angeles, California, Sharan & Ronald Richardson, daughter & son in law of Livingston, Wayne & Diana Keil, Sacramento, California, Gerald Allen Keil, son of Anaheim, California, grandchildren; Ronald & Carolyn Sundeen, Mark & Sissy Hamilton, Misty Hamilton, Angela Keil-Hurst & Curtis, Chris & Kari Keil, Roland & Maggie Keil, Kathy & John Whitehead, Curtis Keil, Kevin Keil, Rebecca Keil, Gerald Keil and Libby Keil, great grandchildren; Bambi Dawn Sundeen, Deban Keil, Andrew Keil, Megan Keil, Brennan Keil, Austin Keil, Cassandra Whitehead, Daniel Keil, Gage Hamilton, Stevi Nicole Hamilton, Darian Valencia and Corey Whitehead, and numerous great great grandchildren also survive.

She was born September 1, 1919 in Grandin, Missouri the daughter of Lewis Newingham and Bessie Ridenbark Newingham and passed away November 1, 2010 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Acey Fleetwood, Wilma Jean and Linda Joyce, daughters, Jim Rawls, son in law and Bernice Fleetwood, daughter in law.
