Interment in Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation is Friday, September 30, 2011 from 5 PM - 9 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Pallbearers are Corky Cochran, Harace Duff, Emory Lowe, J.T. Grimes, Bobby Lowe, and Chuck Barmore.

She was born December 8, 1918 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Jeff Driskell and Lettie Milliken Driskell and passed away on September 28, 2011 Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by parents, Jeff Driskell and Lettie Milliken Driskell, as well as 7 brothers and sisters.

Letha is survived by Carnie White, husband, of Livingston, Texas, Ray White and Dianne White, son and daughter-in-law, of Tomball, Texas, Dr. Wade White and Lisa White, grandson and wife, Ashley White Allen, granddaughter, 5 great-grandchildren, Walker Ray White, Katie Reese White, Jackson Keith White, Karle Ann Allen, and Taylor Lynn Allen. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

Roger Walters

Roger Walters, 79, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 25, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was born June 15, 1932 in Polk County, Texas. He attended Livingston public schools, and graduated from Sam Houston State. He worked as a Financial Examiner for the State of Texas, until he retired. His work took him all over the country. Later in his life he met his future wife, Barbara in Utah. They were marriage 24 years, and spent time in SLC, Utah, and made their home in Boerne, Texas. They had a great group of friends and neighbors in the hill country. Roger loved his early morning walks and visiting with friends. He was loved and admired by everyone that knew him. When he was with his brothers, they could all tell funny stories for hours. He will be sorely missed by his friends and family that loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis "Sparky" and Vena Walters, and brother Bill Olen. He is survived by his wife; Barbara and son William. Step children; Barbara Alvarado, Frank (Jean) Huff, David (Kathleen) Huff, Julie (Blake) Goff, Jennifer (Dan) Breeze, and Jon Huff; Brothers; Lewis Edwin (Anna Marie) of Germany, Payton (Tamara) of Lufkin, and Paul (Kitty) of Livingston. He also had many nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston. The viewing will be held Friday, September 30, 2011 from 5 P.M. - 7 P.M. at the same location.

Gale Franklin, 55, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 22, 2011 at Hospice In The Pines Lufkin Memorial Hospital in Lufkin, TX.

Gale was a devoted mother and loved her children greatly. At an early age she professed Christ as her Lord and Savior. She attended Blanchard Baptist Church with her children. She is survived by her children, Raymond Christopher Welsh & wife Donna, Curtis Ray Welsh & wife Kim, Wendy Charmaine Sucarichi; grandchildren, Paige Sucarichi, Colton Ray Welsh, Shelby Digges, Dylan Andrew Welsh, Hannah Welsh, Kayla Digges, Cierra Digges, Mason Welsh, Casey Welsh and Michael Shane Sucarichi and sister, Nancy Randall, & husband Donnie; brother, Raymond Meyer JR & wife Cindy; father-in-law, Ronald Paul Franklin & wife Virginia Irene, brother-in-law, Charles Chapman & wife Helen; brother-in-law, Rickey Wayne Franklin; sister-in-laws, Tina Lange & husband Mike, Lynell Meyer; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends who will miss her greatly.
