Curtis Ware
Funeral Service for Raymond Curtis Ware, age 89 of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 1, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Pastor Howell Ferguson will conduct the services and grandson, Blake Ware will speak. Pallbearers are: Curtis Branam, Chris Branam, Colby McCrory, Josh Ware, Jamie Ware, Jake Ware and Waylon Solise. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kirk Ware, Ivan Ware, Jason McCrory, Neal Patterson and Jeremiah Ayers. Interment will be held at Restland Memorial Park in Livingston, following the chapel service.
Mr. Ware, was born on May 6, 1923, in Oakdale, Louisiana to parents, James Douglas Ware and Nettie Willis Ware. He marriage Helen Ware on July 8, 1942, and they would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on that date. Mr. Ware loved fishing and playing bingo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Nettie Ware; sister, Thelma Strother; and brother Dennis Ware. He is survived by his wife, Helen Ware of Livingston, Texas; two daughters, LaVelda Branam of Livingston and Becky McCrory of Porter; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Earl and Susan Ware and Dennis Ware, all of Porter; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Chuck Hudson of Conroe; eighteen grandchildren; fifty-one great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; and sister, Nelva Ferguson of Tomball.
The family would like to request everyone to come back to Deborah and Chuck’s residence at 9462 Lake Conroe for fellowship after the services.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston.

Funeral Services for J.R. “Red” Barker, age 76 of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at First United Methodist Church in Livingston, Texas. Services will be conducted by Rev. James Frazier, Rev. Don Willis, Rev. Steve Woodie and Rev. Paul Woodworth. Red Barker was born on January 5, 1936, in Jacksonville, Florida, to parents, Moses Barker and Lucille Minshew Barker. He marriage Francie Dameron on December 14, 1978, in Livingston, Texas. Red was a member of First United Methodist Church; Original Board Member of Polk County Crime Stoppers; and United Methodist Men’s Prayer Breakfast.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Lucille Barker; daughter, Linda Alley, brother, Earl Dickey and sister, Yvonne Robertson. Red is survived by his wife, Francie Barker of Livingston; two sons, Irvin Barker of Livingston and Jim Barker of Point Blank; daughter, Teresa Pauley of Elna, Washington; sister, Dolores Dickey of Bloomingdale, Georgia; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

She was born on July 18, 1927 in Goodrich, Texas, the daughter of Willie Crum and Vera (Craig) Crum and passed away on May 26, 2012 in Livingston, Texas. Ms. Walters is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Vera Crum; her husband, Leo Riley Walters; and son, Howard Leo Walters.
Ms. Walters is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Suzanne Walters of Jacksonville, Texas; and grandchildren, Katy and Stewart Posuk, Kari Walters, and Kacy Walters; and numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

Noel Richard Ellisor "Butcher"
Noel resided in Corrigan TX for 17 years. He was known by most as "Butch” Mr. Ellisor was born in Portland Oregon on December 25, 1944 to Corinne & Alvis. Preceded in death by his father, Alvis S. Ellisor, brother, Alvis C. Ellisor and his son, Richard Harlan Ellisor. Noel grew up in Cleveland TX for the most part of his life where his father owned a law firm. He graduated from Cleveland High School and marriage Betty Mizell. Noel and Betty had four children; Griffin, Richard, Shawna, and Daniel. Mr. Ellisor is Survived by His mother Corinne Crump of Livingston TX, his son Samuel Griffin Ellisor also of Livingston TX, his daughter, Shawna Paramo-Laviolette and her husband Bruce Laviolette and their four children; Jon, Kalena, Chris and Kenzie Paramo all of The woodlands TX, his son Daniel Ellisor and wife Lindsey Maddox Ellisor and their five children Parker, Taylor, Emily, Lauren and Bryce all of Livingston Texas. Noel passed away early Monday May 21st around 3:35 a.m. at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Lenora Whitman, Blanche Windham, Uhla Rose Alston. Brothers; Wendell Drake, Luther Drake, Jerry Wayne Drake all of starks. and one grandson Jacob P. Howard of Lovelady. Eloise and J.W. marriage on October 2, 1956 in Gist, Texas. Eva June Freeman
Eva June Marsh Freeman, was born on August 17, 1936, to parents June Cameron Marsh and Sara Alice Williams Marsh in Livingston, Texas. She passed away on May 24, 2012 in Livingston, Texas. Eva June graduated from Sam Houston University in 1957 and taught school in the Polk County schools. She taught 4th grade Math and Science in Big Sandy I.S.D; taught Homemaking in the Livingston I.S.D. and in the Leggett I.S.D. “Susan’s” a well known children’s store in Livingston was owned and operated by Eva June for several years. Many grandparents in the Polk County area were fortunate to have had their children touched by her gracious and gentle teaching method in a class room, and remember with fondness dressing not only their children, but then their grandchildren from “Susan’s”. She was a past-president of the Chamber of Commerce; charter member of Order of The Confederate Rose; and enjoyed civil war re-enactments for many years.
Eva June is preceded in death by her parents, June and Alice Marsh; husband, Nelson Freeman; grandson, William Freeman; and sister, Alice Jane Marsh. She is survived by son, Jimmy Freeman and girl friend Tonyia of Leggett, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, David and Chris Freeman of Leggett, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Joe Dan Crawford of Center Grove, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and Bill Trichel of Madisonville, Texas; grandchildren, Josh Freeman, Misty and Jeffery Hunter, Dan Crawford and his fiancé, Kasey McLendon, and Amanda Crawford; great grandchild, Kelton Freeman; nephews and their wives, Mark and Brenda Trichel, Stephen and Dawn Trichel; great niece and her husband, Ashley and Michael Lawless.

Ola is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Armitage and Pattie (Laramore) Armitage, her husband, Andy Turner, son, Lewis Turner and grandchildren, Anthony and Elaine.

Funeral Services for James Thurston Lilley, age 80 of Livingston, TX, will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Big Sandy Community Church in Dallardsville, TX. There will be military honors provided by VFW Post # 8568 and with a Masonic Graveside by Masonic Lodge # 1299 A.F. & A.M, which will be held at the Big Sandy Cemetery following the church service. Mr. Lilley was born on July 9, 1931 in Big Sandy to parents Isaac Benjamin Lilley and Sabra Elizabeth Cox Lilley. He marriage Sandra Jean Krompier on August 10, 1974, in Houston, TX. In 1977, Mr. Lilley was raised as a Master Mason and was a member of Masonic Lodge # 1299 A.F. & A.M. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Elizabeth Lilley. Mr. Lilley is survived by his wife, Sandy Lilley of Livingston, TX; two sons and daughters-in-law, Andre and Trista Lilley and Donny and Suzie Allard, all of Cleveland, TX; daughter, Sandra Hooper of Tarkington, TX; ten grandchildren, Dana, Mandy, Keith, Amber, Jaimie, Cory, Destinea, Savannah, Theresa and J.D.; ten plus great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Lilley and son-in-law, Ken Hooper.

Janet was a college graduate from the University of Houston and from there on in life went on to become a teacher. She loved kids and she was an avid teacher of all sports but she specialized in Physical Education and was employed with the Alvin I.S.D. for 32 years. She was member of the Alvin Republican Party and a lifetime member of the NRA. She was also a member of the Texas Rifle Association and from 1956-1957 she was the Diving Champion for the City of Houston. She also had a chance to be on the LPGA Tour.
She was born on April 1, 1939 in Houston, Texas the daughter of Marvin L. Holbert and Marian A. (Boylan) Holbert and passed away on May 17, 2012 in Humble. Janet is survived by her husband of 38 years and 3 months, Gene Nelson, of Livingston, Texas; son, David D. Nelson of Brownstown, Michigan; daughters, Lynda Dugan and Sharon Smith, both, of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Jim Nathan Holbert of Silsbee, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two special loves of her life, grandsons, David D. Mona Marguerite Wilde
Funeral Services for Mona Marguerite Wilde, age 90 of Lake Livingston will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska with David Johnson officiating. Graveside services and interment will take place in the Milbank Cemetery in Milbank, South Dakota on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Mundwiler Funeral Home in charge of those local services.
Mona was born on July 5, 1921 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota the daughter of the late Tore A Belgum and Nona Belle (Mann) Belgum. She graduated class of 1939 from Carona Highschool in South Dakota and later that year marriage the love of her life, Robert Wilde. In 1958, they moved to Rapid City, South Dakota and opened up the Model Motel and managed it successfully until they retired. Upon retirement in 1972, Mona and Robert moved to Houston, Texas and later in 1987 they moved again to Lake Livingston.
She passed away on May 18, 2012 in Huntsville, Texas and is preceded in death by her parents, Tore and Nona Belgum and her husband, Robert F. Wilde.
Mona is survived by her sons, Joel M. Wilde and Roger D. Wilde, both, of Livingston, Texas; a grandson, Hugh Donald Wilde of Houston, Texas; two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

Beth Goldman
Funeral Services for Beth Goldman, age 87 of Livingston will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Randal Whitt officiating. She was born on September 20, 1924 in Lindale, Texas to G.B. and Laura Alice (Purvis) Crews and passed away on May 17, 2012 in Livingston. Beth enjoyed working out in her yard and she was an excellent gardener. She also enjoyed keeping her home beautiful.
Beth is survived by her husband, Milton E. (Buck) Goldman of Livingston, Texas; two daughters, Martha Harrison and husband, Pat Powell of Austin, Texas, Shirley Anawaty and husband, Larry Anawaty of Aransas Pass, Texas; grandson, Cass Anawaty of Portland, Oregon, grandson, Jamie Anawaty of Fayettville, Arizona, grandson, Jason Anawaty of Cypress, Texas; sister, Joy Kennedy of Magnolia, Texas and Three great grandchildren. Orville Willard Layton "OW"
Orville Willard Layton "OW", native of Shreveport, La, and resident of Houston, TX, went to be in the arms of his Savior on May 13, 2012 at the age of 83. He is survived by his loving wife, Cyndal Porter; four children and their spouses; Steve and Susan Layton, Susan Ourston, Marsha and Jimmy Giessler, and Karen and Bill Delcambre; one stepson Randall Hoyt Porter and spouse Joann Melcher Porter; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Robert Layton (Jenny); sister, Annie Merle Wells (Orion); and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Author Layton; and grandson, Stevie Layton. OW was an amazing man who started showing his talent of flying at the young age of 15, which lead him to be the youngest in the state of Louisiana to receive his pilot's license. After attending LSU, OW started his oilfield career with Dresser, working in the U.S., Scotland, and Italy. He then founded Layton Presser Control Systems, which he operated for the last 40 years. OW rejoiced in attending St. Martin’s Church and seldom missed a Sunday. Funeral services will be held at St. Martin Episcopal Church, at Woodway and Sage, on Friday, May 25, 2012 being at 11am with a reception to follow at the parish hall. Burial will be at 3:30 at Antioch Cemetery, Lovelady, Tx. Family wishes to thank the staff at Memorial Herman Hospital on Gessner and the staff of Vitas Hospice for their kind and tender care.
Sharon Rose Jones
Graveside Services will be held, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas, for Sharon Rose Jones, age 69, of Biloxi, Mississippi. She was born on December 26, 1942 in Gilmer, TX and was a graduate of Gladewater High School in Gladewater, Texas. Mrs. Jones passed away on May 10, 2012, at the age of 69 due to heart failure following a bout of pneumonia. Before her health failed, she was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 33 and the Keesler Air Force Base Officers’ Wives Club. She was also a dedicated volunteer at the Biloxi V.A. Hospital.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Morrow, and two brothers, Johnny Morrow and Curtis Morrow. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerry D. Jones, two daughters, Jeri (Terry) Dickson and Kathy Jones, a son, John (Cathy) Jones, and four grandchildren.
