will be on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in El Dorado, Arkansas. Visitation will be Sunday evening, July 8, 2012, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska.
Emly was born on December 16, 1918, in El Dorado, Arkansas to parents, Bishop Wilson and Emma (Worthington) Wilson. She passed away on July 7, 2012, in Conroe, Texas. She obtained her Masters Degree and was an accredited school teacher for many years.
She was married
to Alymer Hicks, who preceded her in death, along with her parents, Bishop and Emma Wilson; son-in-law, Charles Sharp; and two brothers and a sister.
Emly is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Sharp of Onalaska; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Becky Hicks of Onalaska; grandson, Scott Martin; great grandchildren, Clinton Martin and Kay Lynne Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Bud was born on October 16, 1921, in Waco, Texas to parents, Thomas Riley Cline and Jeanett (Riley) Cline. He passed away on July 6, 2012, in Livingston, Texas. He married
the love of his life, Willie Mae Williams, on October 6, 1947, in LaPorte, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jeanett Cline; wife, Willie Mae (Williams) Cline; daughter, Mary Ann Birdsong; and six brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Cornor of Livingston, Texas and Eula Breier of South Houston, Texas; grandchildren, David and Lisa Napier, Lela and Glenn Crisp, Brenda Bell and Michael Parnell; great grandchildren: Jacob, Samuel, Christopher, Lauren, Michael, Jonathon and Brittany; and great-great grandchildren: Ryatt and Asylnn; and numerous other family and friends and his beloved pet “Chico.”

Ronald Dean Stockton
Ronald Dean Stockton, was born on April 17, 1948, in Portsmith, Virginia, to parent, Robert H. Stockton and Lois Pearl Fisher Stockton. He passed away on July 5, 2012 at his home in Livingston, Texas at the age of 64.
Ronald was a member of Church of God and the VFW # 8568. He serviced in the U.S. Marines from 1969 to 197l. Ronald was a branch manager for Regal Plastic Co. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lois “Fisher” Stockton; and brothers, Robert Stockton and Gary Stockton. Ronald is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Jodd Caloway of Beaumont, Texas; three sisters, Louise Davis of Livingston, Texas, Sue Ellen Morris of Pasadena, Texas, and Lois Virginia Hickman of Pasadena, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Roman Richard and Norma Stockton of Katy, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas. Rev. Randy Higgibothem and Rev. Wayne Gono will conduct the services. David was born on December 19, 1963, in Quebec, Canada, to parents, Erick Didia Hansen and Anna Lisa Wolf Hansen. He passed away on July 2, 2012, in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Woolley was born on October 23, 1927, in Prescott, Arkansas, to parents, Oscar Stivires and Grace Niemeyer Stivires. She was a nurse practicing in the Livingston area until retirement.
Mrs. Woolley is preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Grace Stivires; first husband, Kenneth Hoarse; two sisters, Bettie Niemeyer and Dorothy Niemeyer; two brothers, Ted Stivers and Charles Stivers. John Henry Jordan, Sr.
Funeral Services for John Henry Jordan, Sr., age 101 of Dallas, Georgia, formally of New Willard, Texas, were held on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Bible Way Church of God in Christ in New Willard, Texas. Mr. Jordan was born on September 26, 1910, in Oakhurst, Texas, to parents, John Jordan and Mary Parker Jordan. He passed away on June 27, 2012, in Austell, Georgia. Mr. Jordan was an employee of New Willard Saw Mill in New Willard until he retired. He married
Madell Martin-Jordan, who preceded him in death. Mr. Jordan’s parents, John and Mary Jordan also preceded him in death. He is survived by three daughters, Augustine Jordan-Clark and husband, Jake Clark of New York, New York, Donience Jordan-Boone of New York, New York, Dornellia Jordan-Hawkins and husband, Gerald Hawkins of Dallas, Georgia; two sons, John Henry Jordan, Jr. and wife, Sue Jordan of New Willard, Texas, Frank Earl Jordan and wife, Auva Jordan of Elmont, L.I, New York; sister, Beatrice Brown, and husband, Johnny B. James Olan “Hank” Chamblee, born January 25, 1923 in Sour Lake, Texas to E.A. & Necie Horn Chamblee passed away July 3, 2012 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 89 years.
Hank was a veteran of the United States Army having served in WW II. He was retired from Union Oil, Nederland, Texas.
Hank is survived by his wife of 65 years Mable Ruth Loftin Chamblee; sister Gladys Moffitt; sons, James Olan Chamblee, Jr. and wife Cheryl, Elbert Wayne Chamblee and wife Diane and Jud Chamblee and wife Tammi; grandchildren, Amy Leipzig and husband Ben, Laura Franek and husband Ron, Jacob Chamblee, Tristin Crow and husband Tim; great grandchildren, Jacob Leipzig and Maggie Franek. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Bonnie, Marie, Jewell and Margie, and brothers, Red, EJ and IC.
Judy Lynn Rhodes Duggan
Judy Lynn Rhodes Duggan was born on May 29, 1955 in Houston, Texas, to parents, Finas Lester and Beatrice Mullins Rhodes and passed away on June 22, 2012, in Murrieta, California. Judy was married
to Donald Duggan, Sr. on March 28, 1981. She is survived by her husband, Donald Duggan, three daughters and one son-in-law, Brenda Tarver, Stephanie Spencer, Cherri and Charles Kuschel; one son, Donald Duggan, Jr.; twelve grandchildren, Hailee, Jacob, Lauren, Jessica, Ryan, Kaylynn, Christopher, Samantha, Danielle, Priscilla, Natalie, and Alyssa; six great grandchildren, Ethan, Isaac, Manuel, Alijauh, Xavier and Dezireh; and countless other loving family.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 6, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Michael Lovell will conduct the services. Following the Memorial Service, interment will be held at Old Peebles cemetery in Livingston.

Richard Edwin Abercrombie
March 8, 1915-June 30, 2012
Richard Edwin Abercrombie of Livingston, Texas died peacefully at Timberwood Nursing Home on June 30, 2012. He had been a resident of Timberwood for only 12 days. He was 97 years of age and lived a very active life until 6 months ago.
Richard was born on March 8, 1915 in Leggett, Texas to John Thomas Abercrombie and maud Rice. He grew up in Leggett, working the land with his father and siblings and grew to love the family home place. This would be his home away from home for the rest of his life.
Richard is survived by his wife, Carolyn, his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and John Lee Wingate, his granddaughter, Karri Dunn and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who love and honor him. He is preceded in death by his father and mother and his 14 siblings.
As so many of his peers, he chose to fight for his country during World War II. He joined the Marines in August, 1942, served in the Pacific, and was discharged on November 5, 1945. His love for his country was ever present as he chose what organizations to support for the rest of his life.
He came home and went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He worked for then for 34 years. It was here that he met his wife of 37 years, Carolyn Osborn. He convinced her to retire at the same time he did. So on March 8, 1980, they both retired from SW Bell and began their journey to make Polk County their home.
Richard was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Livingston, Texas and a faithful member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Trinity 14 Masonic Lodge, Shepherd Chapter 1003 Eastern Star, Corrigan Chapter 631 Eastern Star, American Legion in Livingston and VFW Post 8568 in Livingston where he was a founding member of the VFW Honor Guard. He retired from the Honor Guard on his 95th birthday.
There will be a visitation at the Cochran Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be at First United Methodist Church on July 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Rice cemetery in Leggett, Texas. Pallbearers will be the VFW Honor Guard. Honorary Pallbearers are the Trinity Lodge 14 Masons.

Ruby was born on August 10, 1917, in Polk County Texas, to parents, Thomas Watson Dickens and Ollie Virginia (Rhodes) Dickens. On December 14, 1935, she married
her best friend, Paul Gus Schlottman in Dallas, Texas. On June 29, 2012, in Midway, Texas, she went to be with her Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas W. Dickens and Ollie V. (Rhodes) Dickens; husband, Paul G. Schlottman; brother and sister-in-law, Watson Oliver and Dixie Dickens; sister, Neva Evon Dickens; brother, Floyd Thomas Dickens; nephews; Jimmy Doyle Dickens, Larry Carey, Dr. Mike Dennington and Ronald Paul Lee; nieces, Delores Stiesel and Belinda Page; brothers-in-law, Fred W.
