Mary Ann Snook, age 76 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2012, in Conroe, Texas. She was born on June 1, 1936, in Hope, Arkansas, to parents Jessie C. Atkins and Luna Clark Atkins. Mary Ann was a member of Soda Baptist Church of Livingston, Texas; Soda Baptist Woman’s Group and served as bookkeeper for Soda Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Luna Atkins, first husband, John Sexton; second husband, James R. Snook and son, Robert Sexton. Mary Ann is survived by three daughters, Teresa Sodaro of Matthews, North Carolina, Marilyn Hendrickson of Deer Park, Texas and Sharon Snook of Livingston, Texas; five grandchildren, John Hendrickson, Ramie Sodaro, Liza Hendrickson, Ryan Hollenbaugh and Sonny Hendrickson, brother Curtis Atkins of Hope, Arkansas; and sister, Faye Hampton of Hope, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Wayne Bickley will conduct the services. Pallbearers are Tom Snook, Bubba Snook, Sonny Hendrickson, Kenny Johnson, Josh Snook and Harold Johnson. Following the chapel service, interment will be held at Bluff Creek cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Ruth was born on October 30, 1929, in Neches, Texas, to parents Thomas R. Evans and Sudie L. Mitchell Evans. She graduated from Livingston High School. Ruth passed away on September 12, 2012, in Calhoun Falls, South Carolina.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sudie Evans; brother, William Evans; sisters, Mabel Evans and Sudie Speer; and granddaughters, Christie Dobbs and Jessica Plagens. She is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda and Sidney Yarborough of Hayden, Idaho, and Sharon and Mark Plagens of Bedias, Texas; three grandsons and two granddaughters-in-law, William and Gina Dobbs of Picayune, Mississippi, Sgt. Benjamin Gilmore of Ft. Polk, Louisiana, Joseph and Karyn Plagens of Trophy Club, Texas; eight great grandchildren, Stephen, Samantha, Mark, Tyler, Lillian, Ethan, Noah and Jordan; brother & sister-in-law, Ray and Wathine Evans; sister, Clara Compton of Livingston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service for Phillip William Hammond, age 60 of Conroe, Texas, will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at Bluff Creek cemetery in Polk County, Texas. Bro. Link Davis and Bro. Curtis Hallford will conduct the services.
Mr. Hammond was born in Germany on October 4, 1951, to parents Hillary Thomas Hammond and Aliene Carter Hammond. He passed away on September 16, 2012, at his home in Conroe, Texas.
Mr. Hammond is preceded in death by his parents, Hillary and Aliene Hammond; and first wife, Anna Hammond. He is survived by his wife, Cheri Luce Hammond of Conroe, Texas; grandson, Michel Rash; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edna and Doug Frazier, of Grand Prairie, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Jessie Luce of South Carolina, and Kevin Frazier and family of Houston, Texas; and one sister-in-law, Becky Courier and family of Spring, Texas.

James Snell
James Snell was born June 22, 1946 in Livingston, Texas to Frank and Nola Fae Parker Snell whom preceded him in death. James was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hardin. He served his country as a United States Marine. James was a die hard loyal Hardin Hornet and UT Longhorn fan. He loved to share memories of his and his sons years as Hornets. The Lady Hornet team were very dear to his heart and loved to be a part of their success.
He leaves behind to cherish their love of 43 years wife Aneece Snell of Hardin. Sons Jim Snell and wife Teaka of Vidor, Randy Snell and wife Regina of Liberty. Grandchildren Reagan, Ryan, Olivia, Ava whom he loved very much. Brother Tom Snell and wife Mary of Moss Hill. Special to his heart Bill Sims and Johnny Carter. Sister in laws LaJuana Knight of Hardin, Sharon McLain of Hardin, Sandra McDaniel and husband Doug of Moss Hill and brother in law Weldon Buell of Spring, Branch Texas.
A service of remembrance will be held Monday September 17, 2012 at 2:00P.M. at The Hardin United Methodist Church with Reverend Gideon Watson officiating, interment will follow at the Hardin Chapel cemetery. The family will be receiving friends also on Monday September 17, 2012 from 12:00 noon until time of service also at Hardin United Methodist church. A beautiful baby girl, named Cholanda, was born in Houston, Texas, to Barbara Hubbard and Johnny Mitchell on May 13, 1971. She attended high school at Forest Brook Senior High School. Cholanda accepted Christ at an early age. She later in life, met and married
Darris Myers on February 14, 2004.
