Jerry Delano Jones of Biloxi passed away on February 15, 2013 at the age of 73 due to respiratory complications.
Lt. Col. (Ret.) Jones was born on August 9, 1939 in Greenville, Texas. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1984 after 23 years of service and had lived in Biloxi since 1980.
After retirement from the Air Force, he worked with the Biloxi Public School System and was extremely active in American Legion Post 33 including acting as Commander for a number of years. He was also active in local VFW activities.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Jones; his parents, Haughton and Johnnie Jones; and his sister, Emma Sue Odum.
He is survived by his brothers, Dwight, Ron, David and Michical; his daughters, Jeri and Kathy; his son, John; and his four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to your local VA or a local veteran’s organization.
Funeral services were held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Interment
will be held in the Magnolia cemetery in Onalaska, Texas with graveside services beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Homer Anderson conducting the service. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Post #8568 Honor Guard.

Lynn Merl Chenault
Lynn Merl Chenault born on February 16, 1942 in Memphis, Texas to Merl James and Jewel Grimsley Chenault, passed away on February 9, 2013 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 70. Lynn is survived by son, Charles Chenault and wife Vanessa; daughter, Cynthia Cronin and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Grace Chenault, Samuel Chenault and Thomas Cronin; cousin Wayne Chenault of Canyon, Texas and numerous other relatives and a host of friends. He has been in this community since 1989. After serving 30 years in the Oil Industry he retired with Shell Oil. Lynn belonged to the American Society of Arms Collectors and the Texas Gun Collectors Association. He is preceded in death by both his parents.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2P.M. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with a Celebration of Lynn’s life beginning at 2:00 P.M.
Officiating will be Reverend James Frazier. Interment
will follow at Forest Hill cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Nicholas Heath Wiley, age 35 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on February 8, 2013, at Solara Hospital in Conroe, Texas. Nicholas was born on July 24, 1977, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Richard Wiley and Kathleen Taylor Wiley.
He is survived by one sister, Laura Marks of Livingston, Texas; two brothers, Richard Wiley of Modesto, California and Chris Wiley of Mendocino, California; five nieces; five nephews; two great nieces and four great nephews.

Lawrence Wayne Ledbetter on September 2, 1961, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was a member of Rainbow Baptist Church in Rye, Texas.
Joann is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marjorie Billings. She is survived by husband, Lanny Ledbetter of Ace, Texas; daughter, Joy Lynn Houser of Hay Springs, Nebraska; two sons, Michael Wayne Ledbetter of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jonathan Glenn Ledbetter of Wallace, Nebraska; grandchildren, Jennifer Shea, Carmen Barth, Cassandra Barth, Jonathan Houser, Jordan Houser, Jacob Ledbetter, Joseph Ledbetter and Sebastian Ledbetter; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Rainbow Baptist Church in Rye, Texas. Rev. Clyde Somers will officiate the service. Interment
will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.

Christine Bradberry Seago
Christine Bradberry Seago passed from this life on February 12, 2013. Family visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16 from 1-2pm at the First Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm.
Christine was born on February 23, 1930 in Denning, Texas and grew up in the San Augustine/Nacogdoches area. She graduated High School from the Stephen F. Austin Teachers College in 1947 and married
Elwin V. Seago, her war hero sweetheart in 1948. Following the birth of her first two children, the family moved to Corrigan. When her youngest son began 1st grade, she went against social norms by returning to college full time to become an elementary teacher at Corrigan ISD. For the next 32 years, Mrs. Seago selflessly managed her family, her students and her commitment to church and community. The family has often been told, “Mrs. Seago was my favorite teacher.” She loved gardening, crossword puzzles, game shows, sports (especially the Houston Astros and Houston Rockets) and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Opal Bradberry, 2 siblings, Fredrick Earl Bradberry and Louise McDowell, and her loving husband of 56 years, Elwin V. Seago.
Left to cherish memories of her are her four children, Robert Harold (Renee) Seago of Corrigan; Dianne (L.D.) Rumfield of Corpus Christi; John E. (Linda) Seago of Lufkin and Terry (Mary Helen) Seago of Coldspring; grandchildren, Vickie Graeber, Dayna Rumfield, Chris Seago, Allona Sloan, Lucas Rumfield, James Seago, Joel Seago, Julie Olivares, Stacey Ferguson and Clint Payne; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Iris (Jack) Blankfeld of California; special nieces Lynda Baker Mullins and Katherine Bradberry; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former students.
She will be greatly missed, but will be remembered for her quick wit, her generosity, no-nonsense approach to education, and her great love for her family.

She was born on Friday, June 16, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Edus Bonds and Jeanette (Mosley) Bonds. Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother.

Wilbur Lee “Bill” Bressler
January 26, 1923 - February 11, 2013
Wilbur Lee “Bill” Bressler, age 90 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on February 11, 2013, at his home. Wilbur was born in Rock Port, Missouri, to parents Lee Bressler and Hannah Cooper Bressler. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master Degree and served in the U.S. Navy, during WWII. Wilbur married
Marilyn Campbell on September 8, 1944, in Purcell, Oklahoma. He was employed by Dow Chemical, where he did research on high efficiency catalyst to produce polymers. The developed polymers were used in the heat shield for NASA’s Apollo Program.
He received an Industrial Research IR-100 Award for the Outstanding Research Accomplishment in U.S.A. in 1978. He left DOW in 1979 as a Global Coordinator of research. He retired to the house he built and had a life of fishing, golfing, and relaxation.
Wilbur is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Hannah Cooper Bressler; son, Mark Eugene Bressler; and brother, Kenneth “Bud” Bressler. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Marilyn Bressler of Livingston, Texas; son, William “Bill” Leland Bressler of Lake Jackson, Texas; two daughters, Suzanne Elizabeth Stevenson of Houston, Texas and Deborah Lynn Graham of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; grandchildren, Christin, Katherine, Christopher, Courtney, Mart, Jr., twins, John and Mark, Stephen and Katelynn; and ten great grandchildren.

Michael Wayne Shoultz born on November 29, 1948 in Princeton, Indiana to Gearl and Frances Ennes Shoultz, passed away on February 6, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pam Cooper Shoultz; son, Brandon Wayne Shoultz and wife Kristi; grandchildren, Lucas Wayne Shoultz and Leah Michelle Shoultz; niece and nephew, Melinda Schindler and husband Kenny; great nephews, Beaux Schindler and Cole Schindler; sister, Sherry Bell; brother, Jerry Shoultz; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
