Kenneth Wyane Vincent

Kenneth Wyane Vincent, age 64 of Livingston, Texas passed away at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas, in Beaumont, Texas, on April 9, 2013. He was born on December 13, 1948, in Laurel, Mississippi, to parents, Charles and Hazel Taylor Vincent. Kenneth married Beverly Gay on December 5, 1969, in Channelview, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army. Kenneth loved his family, country music, playing guitar, working in the yard and motorcycles. He built the family home.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Charles Vincent; mother, Hazel Bovinger; two sisters, Charlene Henson and Deborah Rich; and two brothers, Charles Keith Vincent and Michael Vincent; and daughter, Karen Alaine Vincent. He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Vincent of Livingston, three sons, three daughters-in-law, one daughter and one son-in-law, Billy Hank and Danielle Vincent of Spring, Texas, Mark Aron and Amanda Vincent of Porter, Texas, Kelly Nicole and Bill Anderson of Livingston, Texas, and Timothy Scott and Kristy Vincent of Bastrop, Texas; fifteen grandchildren, Casey, Laikin, Lauren, Hayden, Taylor, Aron, Mariam, Paiton, Shaylin, Dylan, Joshua, Daniel, Brooke, Jesse and Emma; three great grandchildren, Bryson, Kendall and Brylie; one brother, Jerry Vincent; and two sisters, Lois Brooks and Sue Perez.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Mitchell Murphy will conduct the services. Pallbearers will be Jody Vincent, Jeffery Vincent, Andrew Gay, Steven Gay, Doug Luckey, Preston Case, Casey Long and Hayden Solomon. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Gay, Randy Williams, Darryl Henson, Keith Gay, Johnny Williams, Dennis Williams and Wylie Kittell. Following the chapel service, interment will be held at Holly Grove cemetery in Polk County, Texas.

Visitation will be begin at 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Wednesday, on April 10, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Jean Marie Winland

Jean Marie Winland born on December 26, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to Fred and Bertha Jewel Allen Schlicher passed away on April 5, 2013 at the age of 80. She is survived by sons, Jack Winland, Tim Winland and Chris Winland; daughter, Jody Shawa; five grandchildren, Chris Lee Poe, Melanie Shawa, Jack Winland II, Jason Winland and Karen Winland; Five great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Jean is preceded in death by her husband Milton Winland; both of her parents; two brothers and one sister. She was an Auxiliary member of the VFW Post 8568 of Livingston, Texas; Auxiliary member of the American Legion Post 629 in Camilla, Texas; and belonged to the AM Vets Post 913 of Livingston. A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Post 629 in Camilla, Texas at a later date.

Agnes Pauline Alexander

Agnes Pauline Alexander, age 94, of Conroe, formally of Livingston, Texas, was born on January 14, 1919 in Fisher, Louisiana to her parents, William Tolbert “Pete” Grisham and Mary Velma Winham Grisham and passed away on April 4, 2013 at the Park Manor Nursing Home in Conroe.

She attended high school in Livingston and after her marriage to Arnold F. Alexander on May 16, 1936, they made their home in Livingston. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander were the owners and operators of Alexander BBQ, founded in 1936. They operated their business until retirement in 1985.

Mrs. Alexander was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Livingston. She served as the church pianist and organist for many years. She was a devoted Christian and a trusted friend to all she met. Agnes left her family with a lifetime of wonderful and treasured memories.

She is preceded in death by Mr. Alexander on October 30, 1989. Also, preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Margaret Victery; and brother, Billy Pete Grisham. Agnes is survived by her children, Becky Stotts and husband, TH, of Conroe, Peggy Meredith, of Houston, and Arnie Alexander and his wife Ginger, of Montgomery; three grandchildren, Connie Nagy and her husband, John, of Austin, Kevin Stotts, of Marblehead, Massachusetts, Troy Meredith, of Houston; three great–grandchildren, Amber Johnson and her husband, Clint, of Conroe, Ashley Nagy, of Lubbock, Jacob Nagy, of Austin; two great-great grandchildren, Natalie Auld, of Conroe and Riley Auld, of Conroe. A host of other relatives and dear friends, also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alexander will be held at 2:00 PM on April 8, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Dr. Richard Walters conducting the service. Following the chapel service, interment will be held at Alexander cemetery in Livingston. She will be escorted to her grave by her pallbearers, Bid Smith, John Mizell, Howard Victery, Tommy Snook, Brent Alexander, Steve Collier and Roger Alexander. Honorary Pallbearers are the many dear friends that are too numerous to mention.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Funeral services for Esperanza Castro, 70, of Moscow, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Corrigan, Texas with Reverend Clifton Labbe, S.V.D. officiating. Interment icon will follow in the Garden of Memories cemetery in Lufkin, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Castro was born February 18, 1943 in Mexico and passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 in a hospital in Houston, Texas. She was a homemaker all her life and loved her time with family. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, and farm animals. She is preceded in death by her parents: Aureliano Duran and Socorro Parrales Duran; sister: Refugio Duran.

Mrs. Castro is survived by her husband: Miguel Castro of Moscow, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law: Lionel and Josefina Castro of Corrigan, Texas, Fredi and Rosa Castro of Corrigan, Texas, Gustavo Castro of Corrigan, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law: Matilde Duran of Corrigan, Texas, Veronica and Noe Solis of Lufkin, Texas, Lucia and Carlos Gonzalez of Corrigan, Texas; brothers: Carlos Duran, Agustin Duran, Marcelino Duran, Ruperto Duran, Miguel Duran, Angel Duran, Luis Duran; sisters: Josefina Duran, Elvia Duran, Sabina Duran; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Gustavo Castro, Lionel Castro, Fredi Castro, Cesar Duran, Miguel Castro, Gamaliel Castro, Manuel Castro, Carlos Duran.

Leland Ray Walding

Leland Ray Walding, age 80 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on April 5, 2013, in Lufkin, Texas. He was born on December 10, 1932, in Montgomery County, Texas, to parents Lewis Curtis and Etta A. Walding.

Leland is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Syble Walding. He is survived by his daughter, Connie Walding, of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Melissa Walding, of Livingston; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Nancy Walding, of Apple Springs; granddaughter, Jessica Walding, of Livingston; grandson, Brian Walding, of Livingston.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Tim Thompson will conduct the service. Interment icon will follow the services in the Peebles cemetery in Livingston.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 PM until 10:00 PM on Monday, April 8th, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Richard Carroll Wells

Richard Carroll Wells, age 68 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on April 5, 2013, at his home in Livingston, Texas. He was born on August 20, 1944, in Kingsville, Texas, to parents Dick and Nina Juanita Wells.

Richards is preceded in death by his father, Dick Wells and sister, Mary Jo McAdams. He is survived by his wife, Bobette Wells; four sons, Gerald Cummins, Todd Cummins, Scan Wells and Rusty Wells; grandchildren, Jennifer Cummins, Leah Cummins, Bobby Cummins, and Nathaniel Cummins; mother Nina Juanita Kirkland; three sisters, Margaret Jean Nowell, Betty C. Hanna and Patsy C. Watson. Richard loved to work on cars.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Harold Isaacs will conduct the service.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until service time on Sunday, April 7th, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

January 31, 1947-April 3, 2013

Sheila Ann Koperna, age 66, of Livingston, Texas passed away on April 3, 2013, in Houston, Texas. Sheila was born on January 31, 1947, in Houston, Texas, to parents, Jacob and Fannie Mae Denson Cline.

Sheila is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kerry Crawford Scott. She is survived by her husband, Bill Koperna, of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Stacie Walton, of Onalaska, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Shane Newman and Tonia, of Coldsprings, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly Gentry and Jimmy Giles, of Palestine, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Chris and Shane Conner, of Palestine, Texas; grandchildren, Brittany and C.J. Andros, Kaeli and Blake Instine, Kortni Wiegreffe, Brandi Walton, Michael Newman, and Cinthia Newman; and five great– grandchildren. Sheila will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, John West, Brandon Williams, Alan LeBlanc, Blake Instine, C.J. Andros, and Tony West.

Services for Sheila Ann Koperna will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 1:00 PM, at First United Methodist Church in Livingston, Texas. Rev. James Frazier will be officiating the service with the assistance of Dr. Don Willis and Bro. Paul Woodworth. Interment icon will be at 4:00 PM, at Evergreen cemetery in Grapeland, Texas.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and again on Friday April 5, 2013, from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.

Frances Farrell of Onalaska Tx. born 6/5/1938 to Ruth Iva Suttles and Norman Oscar S, uttles passed away on 3/23/2013 at the age of 74.She is servived by her loving husband of 32 years Donald Hargrafen, children Debra Lobue, Ray Pierce, Theresa Pierce, grandchildren, Justin Lobue, Charlie Pierce, Skylar Pierce, Aubree Pierce, Keagan Pierce, brothers, Terry Suttles, Larry Suttles, sisters Betty Vaughn, Jenny Boggs, andWindy Allen .She was buried at Big Sandy Methodist Church in Leicester, N C on 3/29/2013 @ 10 am. There will be a Memorial in Onalaska, Tx. 4/13/2013.

Florence Fitts Bohnert
November 28, 1924-April 1, 2013

Florence Fitts Bohnert, age 88, of Livingston, Texas, passed away on April 1, 2013, in Livingston, Texas. She was born on November 28, 1924, in Eddy, Texas, to parents, James Fancher Owens and Ora Mae Thornton.

Florence married Charles A. Fitts on July 21, 1945 in Jacinto City, who precedes her in death. She then married Richard Bohnert on March 14, 1994 in Livingston, who also precedes her in death.

Florence is preceded in death by both of her parents; brother, Jessie Owens; sisters, Kathryn Huckabee and Dorothy Carpenter; and brothers-in-law, Bill Carpenter and Harry Keever. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Rick Barden; son, Randy Fitts; stepson and wife, Richard and Fran Bohnert; twin sister, Florine Keever; grandchild and husband, Denise and Josh Kleinhans; grandchild, Melissa Hood; grandchild and wife, Chuck Barden and Tish; grandchild and wife, Heath Fitts and Sylvia; great-grandchild, Breanna Hood; great-grandchild, Landon Hood; great-grandchild, Tiffany Bassett; great-grandchildren, Abby, Joshua, and Johannah Kleinhans; great-grandchild on the way, Kaden Barden; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services for Florence Fitts Bohnert will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at Crossroads Fellowship, 12110 East Sam Houston Parkway, Houston, Texas 77044. Rev. Joe Granberry will be officiating the service with the assistance of Rev. Mike Allard and Rev. Don Goodwin. Interment icon will be held that afternoon, at 2:00 PM, at San Jacinto Memorial cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at 5:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Everett Newman Isbell
December 26, 1923-March 31, 2013

Everett Isbell, age 89, of Goodrich, Texas, passed away on March 31, 2013, in Livingston, Texas. Everett was born on December 26, 1923 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, to parents, Charles and Ruth Pevehouse Isbell.

Everett is preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Vera Isbell; brothers, Harvey Isbell, Andy Isbell, Arnold Isbell, and Tony Isbell; sisters, Ola Steelman, Ruby Redus, and Opal Walker. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Andy Lynn Isbell and Janace, of Cedar Creek, Texas; son, Earl Everett Isbell, of Mabank, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Rose Johnson and Terry, of Goodrich, Texas; grandchildren, Kevin Isbell and Reina Isbell, both of Bastrop, Texas.

Interment will be held April 3, 2013, at 2:45 PM, at Ft. Sam Houston National cemetery, in San Antonio, Texas. Military Honors Provided by Randolph Honor Guard Air Force Base.

Lewis Edwin Marks
January 19, 1917 - March 31, 2013

Lewis Edwin Marks, age 96, of Livingston, Texas passed away on March 31, 2013, in Livingston. Lewis was born on January 19, 1917, in Evergreen, Louisiana, to parents Joseph and Marie Taylor Marks.

Lewis married Essie Mae Hall in 1938 and she died in 1955. They moved to Polk County in 1972. Lewis was a Deacon at Schwab City Baptist Church, and a member. He served 16 years in the Texas Baptist Men’s Retiree Builder’s, where he built 132 churches, and 89 as Lead Carpenter. He was also a WWII veteran.

Lewis is preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Beverly Marks, of Athens, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Evangeline Clepper, of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Nadine Black, of Reno, Nevada; son, Butch Cross; brother and sister-in-law, Elson and Ruth Marks, of Pasadena, Texas; grandchildren, Steven Marks, Paul Marks, Kristen Valka, Henry Clepper, and William Clepper.

Services for Lewis E. Marks will be held Friday, April 5, 2013, at 10:30 AM, at Schwab City Baptist Church, in Livingston, Texas. Rev. David Jones will officiate the service. Interment icon will be at Grandview Memorial Park cemetery, in Pasadena, Texas, at 3:00 PM, that afternoon. Military honors will be provided by VFW Honor Guard - Post #8568.

Visitation for Mr. Marks will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 5:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Texas Baptist Men’s Retiree Builders, 5351 Catron, Dallas, Texas 75227.

Willie “Bill” Arthur Parker

Funeral Services for Willie “Bill” Arthur Parker, 82, of Corrigan, Texas will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel in Corrigan, Texas with Bro. Troy Richardson officiating. Interment icon will follow in the Union Springs cemetery in Corrigan, Texas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Parker was born August 20, 1930 in Hemphill, Texas and passed away April 1, 2013 in Corrigan, Texas. He was a truck driver for many years and was a United Pentecostal by faith. He enjoyed yard work, hunting, fishing and his Third Thursday men’s gathering. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was a great people person and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his brothers: Lester Levon Manshack, James Ener and John Wilkerson; and sister: Barbara Nadine Womack.

Mr. Parker is survived by his wife of 61 years: Sally Ann (Elkin) Parker of Corrigan, Texas; daughter: Joyce Ann Parker Griffin of Corrigan, Texas; son and daughter-in-law: Michael Leon and Ginger Parker of Corrigan, Texas; his faithful dog that was his sidekick: Kadie; grandchildren: Jason Stephens, Devonna Parker Martinez, Joni Cooper, Shirley Parker; 11 great grandchildren; brothers: Claud Ener of Pasadena, Texas, Ray Ener of Coldwater, Mississippi; sister: Vera Wooley of Coldwater, Mississippi; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice in the Pines. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice in the Pines.

Pallbearers: Jerry Collier, Anthony Page, Matt Page, Bob Kiegley, Jim Wagner, Dan Abbruezze.
