Darlene Carter, age 81, of Point Blank, Texas, passed away on May 8, 2013, in Livingston, Texas. She was born on January 6, 1932, in Paducah, Texas, to parents, Guy and Ruth Perry Ware.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Harold Wayne Carter; sons, William Patrick Flanary, Ronald Lynn Flanary, and Michael Timothy Flanary; daughters-in-law, Vallie Joy Flanary, Candace Flanary, and Millie Flanary; granddaughter and spouse, Katie and Michael Austin; grandson and spouse, William and Kristin Flanary; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Flanary; great-granddaughter, Sarah Austin; grandson, Michael Flanary; great-grandson, Drake Austin; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Darlene Carter will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 3:00 PM, at Sweetwater cemetery in Sweetwater, Texas.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 10, 2013, from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

William Donald Pratt
October 14, 1935 – May 7, 2013

William Donald Pratt, age 77 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on May 7, 2013, in Conroe, Texas. William was born on October 14, 1935, in Houston, Texas, to parents, John Henry and Marie Puckett Pratt. Williams loved wood working and car racing. He worked for General Electric for nineteen and a half years; he then was self-employed as a contract electrician up until his retirement.

William is preceded in death by both of his parents, John and Marie Pratt; first wife, Sue Pratt; sister, Janice Johnston; and son, Kevin Gilbertson. He is survived by his wife, Rose Pratt, of Willis, Texas; daughter, Kathleen LaCrosse, of San Francisco, California; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Sweeney and Bill, of Willis, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, William David Pratt, Sr. and Valarie, of Kingwood, Texas; son, Kerry Gilbertson, of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Marlene, Eric, Lauren, Leah, Will, and Brady; brother and sister-in-law, John Pratt and Connie, of Temple, Texas; brother-in-law, Billy Ray Johnston, of Amarillo, Texas; along with numerous other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for William Pratt will be held Friday, May 10, 2013, at 2:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

There will be a private memorial service for immediate family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the American Heart Association.

WILLIAM BOYD KERR

Following a visitation from 8:00-10:00AM that morning, funeral services for William Boyd Kerr, age 48, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10:00AM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Harold Isaacs will officiate. Interment icon will follow thereafter in Peebles cemetery.

Boyd, as he was known to family and friends, was born September 28, 1964 in Livingston, Texas, the son of Tommy Joe Kerr and Barbara Elizabeth Kerr. Following a difficult illness, he was peacefully reunited in eternal rest with his loving mother, Barbara Elizabeth Kerr, on May 4, 2013. A beloved son, brother, and uncle, Boyd enjoyed listening to music, dancing, singing, watching wrestling on TV, and spending time with his family and friends, of whom he had many. His gentle smile, big heart, and wonderful appreciation for life touched all those who knew him and, while he will be greatly missed, he will never be forgotten.

Boyd is survived by Tommy and Cindy Kerr, father and step-mother, of Livingston, Texas, Tommy and Mary Kerr, brother and sister-in-law, of Fort Riley, Kansas, Kenneth and Julie Kerr, brother and sister-in-law, of Sugar Land, Texas, nephews, Brandon and Ryan Kerr, and nieces, Valerie and Grace Kerr. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

Anne Marie Herman
December 20, 1966 – May 4, 2013

Anne Marie Herman, age 46 of Cypress, formerly of Livingston, Texas was born on December 20, 1966, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and passed away on May 4, 2013 at a local hospital in Houston.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David Allen Vanya, Jr. and Kathleen, of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Brooke, Baileigh Anne, Bracie and Brax Vanya; parents, Kathy Elam and Ray, of Franklin, Texas; father, Tom Vipond, and Jeannie, of Dakota City, Nebraska; grandmother, Marjorie Devine, of Sioux City, Iowa; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and JJ Morgan, of Franklin, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Lynda Elam, of Willis, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Thomas Baker, of Montgomery, Texas; niece, LeAnna Morgan, of Franklin, Texas; nephew, Seth Morgan, of Franklin, Texas; nephew, Ryan Baker and wife, Kelly, of Conroe, Texas; niece, Lauren Baker, of Montgomery, Texas; great nephews, Rylan and Jacob Baker, of Conroe, Texas; aunt and uncle, Beverly and David Cahill, of Cromwell, Connecticut; friend and caregiver, Cindi Garcia, of Tomball, Texas; special pet, Winston; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Anne Marie Herman will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.

Billy Ray Clements
October 16, 1921 – May 4, 2013

Billy Ray Clements, a longtime resident of Pasadena, Texas went home to be with his Heavenly Father on May 4th, 2013. He was born October 16, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Billy Ray lived in Pasadena for over 50 years and attended Pasadena High School. He was a member of the Pasadena Masonic Lodge 1155 for over 50 years. He also served in the Unites States Navy for four years. He married Lilwymme Clements, his wife of 68 years and settled in Pasadena where they raised their three children, Donnie, Linda, and Larry. Billy Ray loved life, people, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchild. He was blessed to have many friends and a full and rewarding life. He is survived by his wife, Lilwynne and children, daughter, Linda Dunlap and her daughter Stacey and son Larry Clements and his daughter Stephanie. He had three great grandchildren. After retiring, he moved to Point Blank, Texas where he lived for 20 plus years. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2013, from 5PM – 7PM AT Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas. Funeral Services will also be held a Cochran Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 10 AM. Interment icon will be at Canter Hill cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas, where military honors will be provided by VFW Honor Guard Post #8568 and Trinity Lodge #14 A.F & A.M.

James Michael Bralley
May 10, 1945 – May 5, 2013

James Michael Bralley, age 67 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away on May 5, 2013, in Livingston, Texas. James was born on May 10, 1945, in Columbus, Georgia, to parents, James Burton Bralley and Gertrude Goins Gardner.

James is preceded in death by both of his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jesse M. Bush and Virgie M. Bush; and granddaughters, Randi Lynn Wilson and Kasi Renee Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Penny) Bralley; son, Chuck Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Chris Bralley and Eva; son, Randall Wilson; grandchildren, Maisie Ashton Bralley, Christa Madison Bralley, Chance Christian (Hunter) Wilson, Joel Daniel Wilson, Matthew Luke Wilson, Misty Ann Wilson, Jennifer Brown, and Misty Nicole Wilson; eight great-grandchildren and one on the way; Paul C. Larson, step-father; brothers, Ward I. Bralley, Ken Larson, Keith Larson, and Tim Larson; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Buddy Brosette; numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A memorial service for James Michael Bralley will be held Friday, May 10, 2013, at 4:00 PM, at Hickory Grove Church, FM 1988 Livingston, Texas. Pastor Wayne Landrum will be officiating.

Military Honors will be provided by VFW Honor Guard Post #8568.

David Wayne Moore, age 47 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on May 4, 2013, in Livingston. He was born on January 20, 1966, in Harris County, Texas, to parents, Lewis Henry Moore and Lydia Carson Daily.

He is survived by his mother, Bertha Oliver, of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Jesse Oliver, of Livingston, Texas, Michael Auchmoody, of Livingston, Texas, Walter Moore, of Livingston, Texas, Ralph Moore, of Shreveport, Louisiana and William E. Moore, of Arizona; sisters, Patricia Blanchard, of Houston, Texas, Judy Hawes, of Pearland, Texas, Patricia Wynn, of Arkansas, Julia Ainsworth, of Livingston, Texas and Nancy Sample, of Livingston, Texas; along with several nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for David Wayne Moore will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the home of his sister, Julia Ainsworth in Livingston, Texas.

Nellie Marie Poncho Sylestine
November 20, 1949 – April 20, 2013

Nellie Marie Poncho Sylestine, age 63 of Livingston, passed away on April 20, 2013 in Livingston. Nellie was born on November 20, 1949, at the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation, to parents, Raymond and Nettie Lee Battise Poncho. Nellie enjoyed making pottery, basketry, and beadwork.

Nellie is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Lowell Sylestine; and nephew, Ronald King Obe. She is survived by son, Grayson Williams, of Conroe, Texas; daughter, Vanessa Williams, of the Reservation; daughter and son-in-law, Felicia Littlecreek and Matt, of Warr Acres, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Kerrie Sylestine and Dustyn, of the Reservation; grandchildren, Taino Williams, Ashley Battise, Gregory Battise, Alannah Battise, Dwight Battise, Clancy Littlecreek, Matty Littlecreek, Lenayah Moreno, Aionna Moreno, Kamea Moreno; great-grandchild, Yaheira Battise; sisters, Anna Lou Obe, Sharon Morris, Jennifer Poncho, Melinda Sylestine and husband Don, all of the Reservation; brothers, Roland Poncho and wife Delores, and Rodney Poncho, both of the Reservation. She is the niece of, Kathleen Bullock, Burke Walker, and Oscar Williams; aunt of, Yolando Obe Poncho, Darren Obe, Cicdi Poncho Flores, Lori Poncho Battise, Makesha Morris Young, Van Morris, Jonas Poncho, James Poncho, Rochellda Sylestine, Kirk Sylestine, Julian Sylestine, and Danon Sylestine.

Nellie was escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Russell Celestine, Dustyn Moreno, James Greenlee, Colman Celestine, Gregory Battise, and Jordan Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Randall Celestine, and The Late Gervin Polite as a special honorary pallbearer.

Services for Nellie Marie Poncho Sylestine were held Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at Indian Presbyterian Church on the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation. Elder Debra Battise-Kleinman, Commissioned Ruling Elder, officiated the service. Interment icon followed the service at Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation cemetery.

A visitation was held Monday, April 22, 2013, at 5:00 PM, at the home of Nellie Marie Poncho Sylestine.

Doris Marie Terry
December 26, 1923 – May 20, 2013

Doris Marie Terry, age 89 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on May 20, 2013, in Livingston. Doris was born on December 26, 1923, in Normagee, Texas, to parents, Robert Joseph and Mattie Alice Poss Buckner.

Doris is preceded in death by both of her parents, and four brothers. She is survived by her husband of 62 years and counting, H.Y. Terry, of Livingston; son and wife, Ron and Rosie Stevenson, of Magnolia; son and wife, Bob and Judy Stevenson, of Livingston; son and wife, James and Ginger Terry, of Pasadena; son and wife, Bill and Debbie Terry, of South Houston; step-daughter, Barbara Ann Terry-Wilson, of Wallisville; daughter and husband, Carol and Bob Dawkins, of Houston; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; the entire staff and attendants at Timberwood Nursing Home; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Doris will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Rob Stevenson, Shane Terry, Ryan Stevenson, Joe Terry, Stephen Dawkins, and Thomas Anderson. Honorary pallbearers are Steven Talbot and James Whitman.

Funeral services for Doris Marie Terry will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 1:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Interment icon will follow at Bold Springs cemetery in Livingston. Bro. Ron Smith will be officiating the service.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 5:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home.

Rogene Lois Pedigo
26, 1923 – May 20, 2013

Rogene Lois Pedigo, age 89 of Livingston, Texas passed away on May 19, 2013, in Livingston, Texas. She was born on February 7, 1927, in Marquette, Nebraska, to parents, Victor William and Olga P.E. Gustafensen Larsen.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at the Central Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas. Interment icon was held at 2:00 PM at the Pedigo cemetery in Tyler County. Bro. Barry Jeffries, Bro. Mike Meadows and Victor Flansburg will be officiated the service. Rogene was escorted to her final resting place by pallbearers, Victor Flansburg, Jason Pedigo, Jeremy Pedigo, Joseph Pedigo, Andy Evans, Bill Griffey, Corky Evans, Sy Griffey and Joe E. Pedigo. Honorary pallbearers were Jay Walrath, Jim Poston, Jerry Stovall, Harold Barfield, Sidney Smith and Allen Peebles.

The family received visitors on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston from 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Central Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Samuel Darden Jr., 82, of Chester, Texas, will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Palestine Missionary Baptist Church in Chester, Texas with Rev. Baisey and Rev. W.Z. Terry officiating. Interment icon will follow in the Darden cemetery in Chester, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to the start of the service on Wednesday, May 20, 2013.

Mr. Darden was born September 18, 1930 in Chester, Texas and passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Livingston, Texas. Mr. Darden worked in the logging industry for many years and was a member of the Palestine Missionary Baptist Church in Chester, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents: Samuel and Naona L. (Marshall) Darden Sr.; brothers: Esau Darden Sr., Angus Darden Sr., LaVoy Darden Sr; sisters: Shirley Darden and Yvonne Coleman; son-in-law; H.T. Hood; grandson: Nicholas Hood.

Mr. Darden is survived by his wife of 29 years: Gracie Lee (Hicks) Darden of Chester, Texas; son and daughter-in-law: Samuel L. and Margaret “Polly” Darden III of Houston, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law: Peggy Joyce and Tommy Scott of Ferris, Texas, Laura Ann and Ron Hyatte of Aurora, Colorado, Naona Mechelle Hood of Nacogdoches, Texas, Valerie Diane and Michael Davis of Nacogdoches, Texas, Anglethia Alzetta and Anthony Collins of Colmesneil, Texas. Eula Faye and Tommy Collins of Seven Oaks, Texas, Lillie Carolyn Darden of Beaumont, Texas; brothers: Jacob Darden, James Darden, Charles Darden, Clyde Darden, Jack Darden, Glenn Darden; sisters; Arcelia Morris, Gertrude Trottie, Patricia Conner; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host other relatives and friends.
