Charlotte is survived by her mother, Valadene Seymore; sisters, Beverly Klein and Sandra Smith; son, Woody (Sonny) Thomas; daughter, Bobbi Dent; granddaughters, Haley Dent and Alexis Dent; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Services for Charlotte Ann Thomas will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas. Sam Seymore will be conducting the service. Interment
will follow at Magnolia cemetery in Onalaska, Texas.

Francis is preceded in death by her mother, Lula Irene McCarthy Lockhart; husband, J.C. Lowe; son, Charles Gary Allen; daughter, Irene Allen; and E.C. and Bertha Lowe. David Dwayne Woodard, age 50, was born on June 5, 1963 in Livingston, Texas and passed away on September 24, 2013 in Houston, Texas at MD Anderson Hospital. His love and passion was truck driving for many years.
David is survived by his children, Carrie Diane Woodard of San Antonio, Joshua Duane Woodard of Dallas; grandson, Steven Woodard of Dallas; mother, Carrie Fay Woodard of Cleveland; siblings, Jerry Wayne Woodard and Connie of Livingston, Charlie Woodard and Jackie of Groveton, Donna Holman and Rhonda of Livingston, Annette Ross and Ricky of Livingston, Jean Pemberton and Rick of Spring, Joy Allemang and Curtis of Livingston, and Ann Norris and James of Cleveland; girlfriend that he loved dearly, Linda Ivy of San Antonio and her children and grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; cousin, Kenneth Woodard who was his best friend was like a brother, I love you Bubba; dear long lasting friend, Cheryl Johnson, forever love you girl. Joey is survived by his parents; daughters, Lisa David of Saginaw, Texas and Michelle Dedwilder of Arlington, Texas; three brothers, Michael David of McKinney, Texas, Kenneth David of Nassau Bay, Texas and Frank David of Point Blank, Texas; sister, Pamela Ambrose of Point Blank, Texas; grandchildren, Jacob McClenny, Michael McClenny, Mason Brewer, Wyatt Dedwilder and Whitney Dedwilder.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 AM on Friday, St. Stephen Catholic Church in Point Blank, Texas. Father Kim Nuygen officiated the Mass. Interment
followed at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston, Texas at 3:00 PM, escorted by pallbearers, Brian David, Keathe David, Daniel David, Wesley David, L.J. Buahek and Randall Dvorak.
The family received friends on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas. Rosary was held at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening.

Mary Pauline Davis, age 92 of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on October 27, 2013 in Livingston. She was born on February 19, 1921 in Devalls Bluff, Arkansas to parents, George and Nora (Carter) Mitchell.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, J.D. Kinchen; and son, J.C. Kinchen; She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, L.C. and Barbara Kinchen of Onalaska, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Wayne May of Texarkana, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Susan Kinchen of Hitchcock, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Mary Pauline Davis will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Gladewater Memorial Park cemetery in Gladewater, Texas. Rev. Rudy Rios will be officiating the service.

Ernest Doyal Kyle
Ernest Doyal Kyle born December 9, 1930 in Frankfort, Indiana, passed away November 19, 2013 in Rye, Texas at the age of 82 years. Ernest is preceded in death by his wife Betty C. Kyle. He is survived by four children, Bradley Ray Kyle, Patricia Mosel, Ernest Lee Kyle and Carl Eugene Kyle; sister, Patricia Henderson; four grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Mr. Kyle was a veteran in the United States Army having served in the Korean Conflict and a member of AMVET-TX 0113. Arrangement where handled by Pace Funeral Home.
William “Bill” Sylestine
July 16, 1933 – November 17, 2013
The Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas lost one of its leading elders on November 17, 2013, with the passing of William “Bill” Sylestine. He was a fullblood Alabama, one of the last within the Tribe, and a member of the Tapasola Clan. He was born July 16, 1933, and raised on the Reservation. He was married
to Marjorie Battise Sylestine for 39 years, until she passed away in 2011. He is survived by his three children, Bethel Hernandez of Elton, Louisiana, Stacie Sylestine of the Reservation, and Len Sylestine (Connie) of Houston, Texas.
Other survivors include grandchildren: Devon Sylestine and Camryn Sylestine of Houston, Texas; Garrique Robinson, William Robinson, and Jacob Ty Robinson, great granddaughter Gabriella Robinson, and great grandson William Bryson Cole Robinson, all of Elton, Louisiana. Great granddaughters Tairia Robinson, and Izabella Robinson of Livingston, Texas also survived him, as well as a host of cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lizzie and Carter Sylestine, his wife Marjorie Sylestine, a son Galen Sylestine, and great grandsons Jayman and Cain Robinson.
Bill was an outstanding athlete in his younger years, and was well-known for his natural athletic talent, playing and competing in a number of sports, but excelling in basketball. He was a graduate of San Jacinto High School in Houston and was a member of its basketball starting five through his high school years. He also played baseball for his school. He won letters in both sports.
San Jacinto High School had a sizeable population of Jewish students, and Bill had many Jewish friends. He was known as the “Indian Jew” because of his surname.
The University of Houston, in recognition of his outstanding athletic ability, awarded him a full athletic scholarship in basketball. After playing for the Cougars under Coach Guy V. Lewis, he went on to become a proud member of the “H” Letterman’s Association of the University. His love of and support for the University of Houston sports was unequaled, and he attended as many games as he could in Houston. Everyone knew Bill was around when they heard his favorite Cougar yell, “Eat em up!!!” In recognition of his loyalty to his alma mater, his favorite U of H ball cap will accompany him on his final journey.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having been stationed at various duty stations. He was a Communications Specialist and held the necessary clearances to perform his duties. He continued playing basketball and baseball wherever he was stationed, traveling extensively with his base team. He as a veteran has been honored by the Tribe over the years.
He was a member of the Indian Presbyterian Church during his entire life. He served as a Deacon, and then as an Elder, for a number of years. Services were held there on November 19, 2013 with Debbie Kleinman, CLE officiating. Pallbearers were Garrique Robinson, William Robinson, Jacob Ty Robinson, Lovelin Poncho.
The Livingston VFW Post 8568 provided military honors at graveside. Cochran Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Henrietta Angeline Perry, 85 of Goodrich, Texas passed away on November 18, 2013 in Goodrich, Texas and was born on July 25, 1928 in Hurlock, Maryland.
